You're listening to HerHeart Heals Divorce Radio.
Hi, I'm Christina Cuevas.
Seven years ago, I went througha divorce and it completely
turned my world upside down.
And I'm so glad it did.
I documented my healing to shareinformation with other women going
through their own divorce journey.

(00:23):
And now, With thousands of downloadsaround the world from divorced women
just like you, I'm here to show youhow to ditch the shame around divorce
and finally heal so that you canregain the confidence to create your
most abundant and joyful future.
I'm so glad you're here.
This is Her Heart Heals Divorce Radio.

(00:44):
Hello.
And welcome back to therebuilding you podcast.
I'm your host, Christina.
I am so excited to bringyou another episode.
This is going to be a quick one.
I just felt really inspired andreally called to sharing some
of the steps for a reset that Iam currently doing in my life.
And I felt like I wanted to share someof the basic steps that you can do to go

(01:08):
through your own reset, to do this processyourself, and really be able to align
with where it is that you're going with, what it is that you're trying to call in.
. So today I want toshare all about, reset.
I want to walk you through theprocess of resetting with me because.

(01:30):
With the new moon.
I don't know about you, but I getreally sensitive to, The lunar cycle.
So whether it's a full moon or a newmoon, I am always getting hypersensitive
around that, but it's my favorite.
Time to just check in with myself, with reevaluating, where I'm at in my
life and seeing like, what do I want?

(01:52):
Is it still aligned with where I'm at?
And I think people thinkof manifesting as this.
This woo woo type of thing that sort ofunattainable and manifesting is truly
just aligning yourself and taking actionand pairing it with the universe to.

(02:13):
Be aligned with what your purpose is.
Manifesting is co-creating with theuniverse, with what you truly desire
and being able to hear the whispersof your soul and the whispers of.
The universe so that you canco-create trust whatever it is
that you are trying to manifest.

(02:35):
And the reason why manifestingis so potent is because
when we give our attention.
And we do things with intention.
Then we start getting results.
The problem is that most people.
Don't realize that they are manifesting.
Like we are manifesting 24 7, ouractions, whether we like it or not.

(02:59):
Creates this ripple effect.
And so that's why I liketo always be doing these.
Check-ins with myself and Iuse, the lunar cycle to kind of
help me do that and to just see.
If I'm aligned, if I'm still on trackand I kind of check in with myself, so I

(03:20):
wanted to walk you through this process.
Of a reset of what that looks like for me,no matter where you're at in your journey.
Of recovering from any typeof grief from any situation.
If you've had a majorlife shift, if you've.
Recently gone through a divorce.
If you're still going through a divorce.
I have been out of divorce for.

(03:43):
Eight years now.
Yeah, eight years now.
And.
I'm always evolving.
And that is the beautiful thing about thisjourney is that we are always evolving
and it's really important to put thingsinto practice that are going to help us

(04:03):
consistently evolve into our next level.
I always talk about, uh, your nextlevel chapter and a lot of things
that we do inside of my coaching.
Is really being able to create, help you be your own healer and
create a, an environment with toolsthat work specifically for you.
And so before we kind of dive intowhat my reset looks like, I also

(04:28):
wanted to mention a lot of these thingsthat I'm going to be talking about.
Just basic things that I do to reset.
If you are wanting to go deeper.
Divorce detox.
My 14 day guided strategy program iscurrently on pre-sale now for $37.

(04:48):
So I am just wanting to givejust a discount to the women
who are ready to do the work.
If you want to go deeperwith some of these tools.
It something that you wantto like, say, okay, I'm done.
I've had enough.
I want to create change and Iwant to create lasting change.

(05:10):
And I want to live the life that.
Feels the most aligned.
With my highest self.
This is the time to join the detox.
So, um, if you comment detox,uh, I will send you the link.
If you're watching this, um, the recordingor the live, if you comment detox.

(05:31):
I will send you the link to join.
Uh, and if you are listening on thepodcast, all you have to do is go to
the link inside of the show notes, and that will be there for you.
So.
Okay.
Let's talk about resetand the reason why I.
Am meeting a reset inmy own life is because.

(05:54):
I have started just feeling likemy goals and my dreams were just.
Feeling kind of blah.
You know, I.
I found myself not feeling as excitedfor some of the things that I had that
were listed as my goals and my dreams.
So.

(06:15):
That is the first way that youcan tell that you need a detox.
Or a reset of some sort.
And also, if you feel like you aren'teven sure what your dreams are, what
direction that you're actually going in.
That could be a sign that you need a resetof some sort to realign with where you're

(06:37):
going with stuff that's holding you backto really kind of get through the muck.
Um, And to start taking actionthat feels more aligned with
where it is that you want to be.
Um, and so a detox can bea fabulous tool to two.

(06:58):
Accomplish that.
'cause a detox.
If you think about even like detoxing.
In our, like for physic physicaldetox for health purposes.
You want to start taking in all kindsof nutrients to nourish your body
while you are pushing the toxins out.
So, similar concept with detoxing is.

(07:20):
You are resetting and realigning withwhere you most desire to be, and then you
are pushing things out at the same time.
So it's like this balance.
Um, and so let's get into it.
Let's get into it.
The first thing that Ialso wanted to, to mention.

(07:41):
Is that you're only going to receive.
What you are truly ready to receive.
And so if you look at your life andyou take a look around and you're
like, this is not the life that Ithought that I was going to be living.
Or you look around and youdon't like what you see.
You may be ready for that nextlevel for that next chapter.

(08:06):
And so it could be a very beautiful timeto do a little detox, a little reset.
All right.
So I am going to bring up.
Just some steps that I take exactlywhat I'm doing right now to help
me reset and realign with what mygoals are with where I'm going.

(08:26):
And the first thing is really to.
Always, always.
Bring it into yourself.
It is always coming backto you going inward.
So I spend a lot of timealone when I am in this phase.
When I am needing a reset or needing achange, I spend a lot of time with myself.

(08:52):
I will go out in nature.
Um, you know, really justcarving out space for myself.
So you could even carve out time, like in the shower, going into
the bathroom, doing your makeup.
If you're intentional about it.
The cool thing is that youdon't actually have to change.
What your schedule looks like.

(09:14):
It doesn't have to be anything extra.
Then what you're already doing, you're just changing the intention.
So I really love habit stocking because w.
How you can have it stockby taking a shower and.
Spending time alone, spendingtime with your inner self.

(09:35):
And so, okay.
Let's say you are.
Sitting with yourself and you havethis and then it's like, well, now
what, what do I do with my self?
The next thing that you want to dowhen you are in your alone time.
Is to have curiosity.
To really start leaning intoasking yourself, what do I feel.

(09:58):
What.
What is holding me back?
What is coming up for me right now?
What emotions do I feel?
And really being able to identify.
All of it.
Being able to just explore.
And I say this to my clients, it's like,Dating yourself truly, when you go on a

(10:18):
date or you meet someone new and they'refascinating and you just want to learn
everything about them, you want to learnall of the nooks and crannies of their
life experiences and what makes them them.
And.
It's that kind of curiositythat you want to lean into.
To ask yourself to start asking, well, where did that come from?

(10:42):
Oh, I feel.
I'm feeling kind of anxious.
Well, why did something happen?
What happened today and then like reallybeing able to take yourself there.
They always say that, you know, you'reas good as the questions that you ask.
So ask better questions.
And I love really just leaning into thecuriosity because it's truly, when you go

(11:05):
inward that you will be able to discoverexactly what it is that you need, because.
Everything that you desire.
Even your future dreams thatseem unattainable, or that
seems super far fetched, everysingle thing that you desire.
Is already yours.
It's all ready.

(11:26):
There for you.
You just have to tap into it enoughto meet it and match it so that you're
telling the universe, okay, I am ready.
I am ready to for this next level.
And so that is just.
The most beautiful thing is to reallyget curious with yourself and ask

(11:46):
yourself those, those questions.
And like I said, it'slike dating yourself.
And then you're going to want to have away to document what is coming up for you.
So whether that is, um, a journal, whether that's creating art, whether
you are going to, for a run or you'retaking some sort of, uh, an action.

(12:11):
Uh, to document and solidify everything.
And then in this documentation,You're going to be asking
yourself these questions.
Well, what is it that I actually want?
And why?
Right.
Looking at all of the data.
It's like, if you're a researchscientist, you're looking at all the
data from your curiosity session.

(12:34):
And then you're playingit together of like, okay.
This.
So then I don't want this.
I'm feeling anxious about my job.
So then is it my job?
Is it what I'm doing?
Is it who I'm serving?
What is it about all of these things?
Like I said, it comes in that curiosityphase, but when you document it, You're

(12:55):
like putting all of the pieces together.
And you're coming up with your conclusion, with your why, with what needs to
change with lessons that you've learned.
Were there some aha moments whenyou were in that curiosity phase
of piecing the dots together?

(13:16):
And then you want tosolidify all of that, right?
Because that will give you aclear direction of your next move.
And maybe it's not a big move.
Maybe it's a micro move.
Maybe you're just, are you feel likeyou're ready for a change and not
changes to go and get a haircut?
It could be something so small as that.

(13:37):
Or it could be something as you know,I want to go and start applying for
other jobs, or I want to work onmy resume to get more in line with
this type of career where I feelI'm going to feel more fulfilled.
So, whatever your data isshowing, and you have your
conclusion, you have all of that.

(13:58):
You're going to want totake some sort of action.
And so that action.
Is aligned action and really with action.
You are just confirming to the universe.
You're letting the universe know.
I'm ready for this next step.
And so you're taking this alignedaction from the intention.

(14:21):
Of this change that you aretrying to create of this reset.
And maybe the action isn'teven doing something new.
Maybe the action is closing thedoors on doors that need to close.
And so it could also be having a toughconversation with maybe someone who

(14:43):
has been toxic in your life that.
Uh, you know, you're realizing is holdingyou back or makes you feel worthless
or doesn't make you feel valued.
Maybe it is.
You know, cutting down your hoursand having a tough conversation
with your boss, because you aretrying to create space to go and

(15:05):
do something that lights you up.
So whatever that case may befor you in your reset session.
You're going to want to take one step.
One small action that letsthe universe know this is the
direction that I want to go in.
And so then the universeplugs that in programs, it.

(15:27):
And then we'll open up theseopportunities for you to be able to.
Go in that path.
And I will say there's a caveatthough, because you will be tested.
You will be tested because we're soused to living in our comfort zone.
In our little comfortable bubble, eventhough we may feel uncomfortable in it.

(15:52):
It's our comfort zone.
And so our brain is alwaysgoing to try to keep us safe.
And so any time we try to dosomething new, whether it's.
Good or closing the door.
Your subconscious will always createsituations that ask you if you are sure.

(16:18):
Are you sure about this?
Are we doing it?
And so when that comes up for you, It'sreally important to be a ready for it.
And to be able to self-soothto say, Hey, I see you.
Thank you so much forshowing me that this may be.
Danger.

(16:39):
But I promise that you're safe.
So having a practice that allows youto sort of acclimate with this new
change or this new action that you areputting out there, or this new desire
that you're trying to align with.
Um, it's important to have a tool, away to acclimate when you are tested.

(17:04):
Because it will happen.
It a hundred percent will, especiallyif you are trying to create massive
change in your life, whatever itis that you're trying to call in a.
You will definitely see thingsthat come up even more that
your body's like, are you sure?

(17:24):
Are we sure that we want this?
Because it feels kind of unsafe andremember unsafe is just unfamiliar.
So I think that's it.
I.
Just wanted to go over some things in theparts of the resets that I do for myself
on, you know, a, every two week basis.

(17:48):
And that's what I've been leaning into.
For the last 24 hours with this new moon.
Because it's been, it's been a wild one.
So I was checking in with myselfand realigning and I actually did
this entire process myself today.
And.
Realigning and ready to takeaction with the new things

(18:11):
that I'm calling in for myself.
So.
I hope that this was helpful.
And always remember that if you arefeeling that you need some extra support.
Always always feel freeto DM me on Instagram.
I'm at her heart heals.
And until next time.
I will talk to you later.
