(00:01):
Merry Christmas Eve, my love.
Welcome to a special short andsweet episode of Rebuilding You.
It's Kristina.
And tonight, as the world slows downand the glow of the holiday lights
fills our homes, I wanted to justhave a little heart to heart with you.

(00:24):
If you're tuning in tonight, chancesare you're carrying some big feelings,
questions in your heart right now.
This holiday season may look a littlebit different, or maybe it has been
different for the last couple ofyears and you're still trying to
make it feel normal, warm, and cozy.

(00:49):
And the big question that I think allof us feel or have felt at different
points of our divorce healing journeyis, am I making the right choice?
Am I doing the right thing?
Is this the right path for me?

(01:10):
And another question that I've justbeen seeing pop up, I've had people
like leave comment, mean comments.
And I feel like the mean commentsare the fears that we all feel that
everybody else is thinking of us too.
And it's that was divorce the easychoice or was it the hard one?

(01:33):
And so that's something that Ifeel like our subconscious brings
up and has us doubt our path.
And we take that to heart, especiallyright now at this time of year.
And you see so many people are quick tosay that divorce is the easy way out.
And sure.
Like I actually do know peoplewhere divorce was the easy way out.

(01:58):
And for those willing to Make that choiceand then they're unwilling to reflect,
heal and actually grow from the situation.
It may even be your ex spouse thatessentially chose the easy route for

(02:18):
them and maybe put you in this position.
But for you, I know thatthis isn't the easy way out.
I know that's not whatbrought us together.
All of the women that I have met andtalked to over on, on Instagram and,

(02:39):
and all the connections that I've made,we all are willing to do the hard work.
We're willing to show up
walking away from a life that youonce imagined forever takes courage.
So I just want to.

(02:59):
Acknowledge you for a second facingthe aftermath, the uncertainty, the
loneliness, my God, that takes strength.
Choosing to rebuild yourself andnot just survive, but thrive.

(03:20):
That's not easy work by any means.
It's the hardest, bravest choice.
And maybe tonight in the stillnessof Christmas Eve and Christmas,
you're going to be asking yourself,am I making the right choice?

(03:41):
Will I regret this someday?
Let me tell you this.
These questions are normal.
It is part of the process.
But there's something thatI want you to hold on to.
And it's this.
That you didn't choose the easy way out.

(04:04):
You're choosing you and that choice, nomatter how messy or hard or uncertain
it feels right now, it's going to beworth it because choosing yourself
is choosing a purpose filled life.

(04:26):
And God or the universe that isjust letting God know that you
are committing to that path.
You are committing to valuingyourself because God and
the universe values you too.
So this holiday season, I want toremind you that recommitting to

(04:51):
yourself isn't a one time decision.
It's a daily practice,a daily act of love.
And so now as we wrap up thismoment, I wanted to share a
Christmas prayer with you.
It's something that I started doing.

(05:13):
I started doing divorce girl prayersover on Tik TOK and Instagram.
And a lot of you really loved it.
I got a lot of saves with that one.
And a lot of women telling methat they really want to lean
deeper into their prayer life.

(05:33):
And it's something that I havealso been working on myself
is doing my daily prayers andbeing more intentional with it.
And so I wanted to share aChristmas prayer with you.
A little moment of peace and offeringyou a blessing over your heart tonight.

(05:57):
So we'll start off this prayer.
You can close your eyesif it's safe to do so.
Dear God, tonight I lift up everywoman listening to these words.
I ask for peace to fill her heart, for clarity to guide her steps.

(06:22):
And for courage to continue on this path.
May she feel your presencein the quiet moments.
And may she know, without a doubt, thatshe is worthy, loved, and supported.

(06:43):
Let this Christmas remind herthat healing is the holy work.
And every small step forward andrecommitment to her path matters.
I ask that you bless her homewith warmth, her heart with

(07:04):
joy, and her spirit with hope.
Amen.
Sending you all my love.
Thank you so much for sharingthis sacred moment with me.
Amen.
Wherever you are, however you'refeeling, know that you're not alone.

(07:26):
I wish you so much peace and love anda heart full of hope this Christmas.
And until next time, I'll see you soon.

Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
