Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to a special
edition of Redesigning Life.
Many of you know I have a newshow called the Sabrina Soto
Show Out and I was able toinvite amazing experts in their
fields just to come in and havegreat conversation.
But because it's a show, wehave to edit it down.
Now, these conversations, theywere so good that I wanted to
(00:20):
publish the raw, uneditedversion, and that's what this
episode is.
You're going to hear action andyou may hear a crew in the
background, but I wanted topublish this so you can really
listen to the entire chat.
So here you go.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
All right, we're
ready, Sabrina.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Danielle.
Hello, I have.
I brought you some treats.
Thank you so much.
Look at that, isn't thatgorgeous, amazing.
Thank you.
Whipped ricotta, if you want totake a nibble.
Thank you, I have.
I brought you some treats.
Thank you so much.
Look at that, isn't thatgorgeous, amazing.
Thank you, with ricotta, if youwant to take a nibble.
Thank you, I have been lookingforward to you coming over for
so long.
I've been excited for this aswell, because we've been friends
and you've never actually readmy no, I have never done that so
far.
So I want to sort of explainwhy this whole episode's and
(01:10):
celebrating, you know, havingyour friends and family in your
life and just really using tipsto live a better life.
And I love astrology, but Idon't know really what, how it
works or what it is, so I wantyou to go through that.
But so I know that you and Ihave a lot in common.
Used to be a designer and youcompletely reinvented yourself,
and I think that a lot of peoplewatching want to do that
themselves, but they can't findthe courage.
Like, how did you find thecourage to do that?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I found the courage
because it actually found me.
So when I was 30 years old, Ihad a massive awakening.
Basically, one day I went frombeing in the matrix to seeing
spirits and I know that soundscrazy, no, but explain that, for
people don't know what thatmeans.
Yeah, so I went from one daybeing in the matrix, not knowing
anything, that there wasanything beyond this physical
realm, and then the next day Istarted seeing spirits and that
(01:50):
was a wild, wild journey for me.
And then I went on a long.
I absolutely thought I wasgoing crazy.
In fact I was going to tell myparents that I was concerned,
that I needed to get help.
But then I realized if I wasreally going crazy, I wouldn't
have the awareness that I lookcrazy, and so from that moment I
realized something washappening.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
So can you really
explain to me what happened?
Like how did you start seeingspirits, like what happened?
Speaker 2 (02:14):
So, if we go back a
little bit, I got dumped in
France on my 30th birthday so,yes, bucket list item right
there.
So I actually was living inBoston.
Then I moved back home toCalifornia where I haven't lived
with my parents since I was 18.
So I was broke.
It was 2009.
The economy tanked.
I was an interior designer, aswe talked about.
There were no interior designjobs, so I was broke, crying
(02:35):
over my relationship, and I feltlike I was hitting rock bottom.
You know, one morning I woke up.
I was having dreams that werevery real and they would start
showing me things that wouldhappen during the day and I
thought that was crazy, right.
And then I saw spirits and Ithought I was going crazy.
So you actually saw spirits, Iactually saw spirits with my
eyes and I, at the moment oflooking at it, I thought I was
(02:56):
going crazy.
But that's what I've come torealize is that we all have this
.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
It's nothing that I
have, this special gift that
have told this to many people, but about a year ago I was in a
retreat and I think it wasreally powerful.
But was most powerful aboutthat, seven days is being off of
a phone and I had no, no books,no, nothing to read Like you
(03:23):
had to just be in your own bodyand I think that was the most
powerful thing that I took awaywas just being quiet, because
that's when I heard my intuitionmore.
And do you think that mostpeople live their lives being so
connected that they aredisconnected from themselves?
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Absolutely, and
that's what I teach people is
that, again, like I said, we allhave this gift.
We just have to quiet the mindand listen and connect it with
our soul.
And you know, while this wasgoing on, I had no idea what was
happening, but for the firsttime in my life, I was connected
to my heart in a way that Ifelt joy that I never had for 30
years.
You know, I hated every job Ihad.
I thought there was somethingwrong with me and then, even
(03:58):
though I didn't know what wasgoing on, there was this feeling
in my heart that this is right, that this is the truth of who I
am, and I needed to keep going.
So that's what kept me throughand that got me to this point is
listening to my heart truly so.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
if anybody's watching
this and they want to feel
their intuition, their psychicpowers if you're saying that we
all have it like, what thingscould they do, Like baby steps
could they take on a daily basisin order to tap into?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
that, yeah, it's
really just sitting with
yourself and I know that somepeople don't even have time for
that, right, and that's kind ofthe problem.
So I understand where momspeople are busy with their jobs,
but if you can take fiveminutes and just sit with
yourself and reconnect to yourheart and you could ask your
heart what do you need and howdo you feel?
And just even those twoquestions what do you need and
how do you feel?
Yeah, If you ask your heartthat every day, it's going to
(04:43):
guide you because your heart hasthe answers to everything.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
So just starting your
day off, that's it.
Before you get out of bed, whatdo you need and how do you feel
?
That, I think, is takeaway foreveryone.
That doesn't cost any money, that just takes a few minutes of
time and then you could tapinto your intuition.
Because that is true.
I feel like we all have theinnate ability to not need a
psychic, not need astrology.
(05:06):
Perhaps it's a nice way toguide Exactly, but if we just
tap into our own knowledge, wewill find the way.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
That's exactly what
it is, and I tell people
astrology is a tool.
It's not going to save yourlife, it's not going to be your
rescuer.
Right, you are the one thatsaves you right, no one's going
to come to save you.
Nobody is going to come to saveyou.
Nobody's going to come to saveyou.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Astrology is an
amazing tool to helpricorn, but
I now have gotten readings.
I love it.
I hate to admit that I use itas a tool, but I don't really
know.
How does astrology work?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yes, Well, first
thing I want to say is that I
don't do horoscopes, and I knowthat everyone thinks astrology
is horoscopes, but it's so muchbigger than that.
I like to call astrology thebasic bitch astrology.
Okay, so that's not what we doaround here.
The astrology that I do hasbeen around since ancient times
ancient Greeks, egyptians, babylonians right, so this is a
divination tool to help you findout who you are.
(06:06):
So I want you to start withthis.
Put your hands together likethis, okay, and I want you just
to go closer and then go apartand can you start feeling the
energy in between?
Yes, right, I can.
Right, so that energy?
Right, there is the quantumfield, that energy, right, there
is the field around you.
So we are connected tosomething so much bigger than
ourself.
Right, and I wanted you to dothis because I wanted you to
(06:27):
feel right, because if,sometimes, if we don't see
something, we think it doesn'texist, right, a hundred percent
Right.
And so there's a quote byNikola Tesla If you want to
understand the secrets of theuniverse, think in terms of
energy frequency and vibration, and that is how astrology is
right.
If you think about the moon, thetides, how they're connected,
it's the gravitational pull.
We can't see it, but it stillaffects us, right.
(06:48):
So when we're born and we takeour first breath here on earth,
the stars, the planets, theconstellations are aligned in
energetic format that getsimprinted into our soul, right,
so we are breathing this energy.
Now, this doesn't define ourlife in the way that it stops us
, but it can help us understand.
Oh, I'm wired this certain way,I have this certain personality
trait, or my purpose is to gothis direction.
(07:09):
Right, so the stars can reallyguide us, to help us understand
who we are, what we're doinghere, right, what is this whole
earth journey about?
Right, and it gives us agrounding and a connection to
something so much greater thanourself.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
So, it's not
necessarily.
It's because I always wonderedif you have like a plan C
section.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
It's because the
moment that you're born, the
energy that's happening in theearth at that moment is what
sort of like molds you in a wayand I'd like to say that, you
know, we think that we're incontrol, we think like, oh, I
had a C-section, or my baby wasearlier.
Maybe it was late, but there'sa divine plan bigger than us.
Right, we're the ones that werethe vessels at that point, the
mothers that are having thechildren.
(07:45):
So there's a divine plan bigger.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
The souls know
when've read my chart, I think I
understand it a little bitbetter, and now I know that you
pulled my chart, so I reallyI'll make some space for you.
I'm really curious to see whatit says.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yes, it's better for
me to hold so I can kind of look
at it.
Okay, okay.
So I asked you for your birthtime, your date, location, and
the birth time is the mostimportant thing.
Okay, so you gave me the exacttime.
What happens if somebodydoesn't know?
If somebody doesn't know thebirth time, then you won't know
everything in the chart.
You'll still know some aspectsof it, but you can't get the
full story of what's going onfor your soul.
So the birth time is soimportant, okay, okay.
(08:24):
So we know right off the bat bylooking at your chart that you
are a Capricorn right and sothat's your sun sign.
That people you know might knowtheir sun sign.
But it's so much deeper thanthat.
You actually have your sun signin the 12th house, and the 12th
house is a very spiritual, verypsychic house.
So right off the bat, I alreadyknow that you are incredibly
intuitive.
So do you know that aboutyourself?
Yeah, I do.
Yeah, did you have you alwaysknown that or was it like?
(08:44):
Was it suppressed?
And then you started realizingthis.
Later on, I knew in high schoolyes, something was up.
Yes, okay.
So and that's because not onlydo you have your sun sign, which
is where you shine your lightto the world.
You also have your mercury, andyour mercury is your speech and
your communication in the 12thhouse.
So that 12th house is connectedto the ethers, it's connected
to the spiritual realm, it'sconnected to something so much
(09:05):
bigger than self.
So a lot of people who haveplanets there.
They're creative, they'reintuitive.
It can often be hard whileyou're growing up, where
sometimes we don't know who weare and I know everyone might
have that feeling.
But especially if you have yoursun sign in the 12th house, it
can feel like I just don't knowwho I am.
I'm taking on other people'senergies until I really figure
out who I am.
So it's kind of confusing for alot of people for a while.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
I went through a
really hard time in high school
trying to figure out whichclique I should be part of,
until I realized now, lookingback, I'm like you didn't have
to be part of any of them.
You could just have beenyourself.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Yeah, you also have
to be careful with the 12th
house, sun or any plants in the12th house, for escapism.
So there's escapism.
A lot of people go to drugs andalcohol because it's almost
like you want to be in thisother realm, because it's hard
to be on earth, right?
Because you're so connected tosomething bigger than yourself,
even if you don't know it, andso there's a lot of escapism.
So that happens a lot, and so alot of people with alcoholism
(09:56):
or drug problem that theystruggle with will have a lot of
planets in Pisces or in the12th house.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
It's a hundred
percent.
I think I spent my twenties andthirties really numbing out
with drinking, because it washard to just be in my body at
times.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
It's because you're a
12th house sun and you're
Mercury.
So if we would have talkedsooner, I could have explained
that to you and that would havehelped.
It's okay, I had a good time,we're fine, right, but in
hindsight, having theinformation about astrology is
so important because it shiftsour life, right, because we can
make better choices.
That's right.
But everything happened becauseit was exactly how it needed to
(10:33):
be.
Yeah, okay.
So not only do you have sothere's a sun, a moon, there's
many things.
You have the rising sign, youhave your sun, you have your
moon, you have your Mercury andyou have your Venus, mars.
You have so many things.
Okay, right, so it really makesup the soul of who you are.
So not only do you have yoursun in the 12th house, which is
very intuitive, you're also amoon in Pisces, so you have a
lot of Pisces flavor in yourchart, which means, again, the
creativity and connected to thedivine, so you can channel, you
are channeling.
(10:54):
That's how you do yourcreativity and you do your art.
When you're designing a space,you're channeling.
So a lot of people don'trealize that they're channeling,
but you absolutely are andyou're also intuitive.
So now that we're having thisconversation, you're going to
start noticing thingsdifferently, because this is
what always happens, and sopeople are going to start coming
to you for questions and you'regoing to start you're able to
help people, guide them on theirjourney and give them advice.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
So my dog passed away
, you know, a few months ago,
and I feel like I'm channelingher and I know that sounds crazy
, I know that sounds crazy, Iknow that's why I'm telling you
this safe space, but I felt likeshe, when I would start like
almost feeling really sad, Icould hear her talking to me,
saying like I'm still here, I'mjust not here.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
That's exactly what
it is.
So I was doing a reading theother day, a session, and their
dog came through, and so thatjust goes to show that it's
exactly what you said.
It's just energy thattransforms.
It never dies, it just goesinto a different form.
There are souls, too.
Absolutely Okay.
What else?
There's a lot, okay.
So your North Node is in Scorpio, and now that is a powerful,
(11:54):
powerful placement.
Our North Node in the chart iswhere our soul is moving towards
, so it's our purpose.
This is one of the main reasonswhy your soul incarnated the
kinds of lessons and experiencesthat you're here to have.
So, first of all, it's in the10th house, so you are here to
be in the spotlight.
You are here to be seen.
The 10th house is about career,so it is not about hiding.
And your South Node, which isyour past energy, is in the
fourth house, which is home andfamily.
(12:15):
So, again, no surprise that youare designing houses.
That's so crazy, okay.
So there's a lot more to this.
So your North Node in Scorpio.
In this lifetime, your biggestjourney and your biggest lesson
is to really learn to let go totransform.
Now, with a South Node inTaurus, you learn to let go to
transform Now.
With a South noted Taurus, youcan definitely hold on to things
and stay in things that longerthan they are, but you're
learning to, you're learning totransform, you're learning to
(12:39):
let go.
Right, if you were in amarriage and it didn't work, you
have to let it go.
If you had a house and it'stime to move on, it's time to
let it go.
So it is a, I would say, atrickier um lifetime for people.
Only because we are as souls,as humans, we're stubborn, right
, we hold on.
So you're here to transform.
But it's also about magic, it'sabout intimacy, it's about
going to the depths of your soul.
So you're really, reallyfinding your psychic abilities
(13:01):
in this lifetime.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
It's so funny that
you say that Letting go has been
a huge lesson for me.
I read a book years ago calledOutrageous Openness Do you know
this?
By Tosha Silver.
It's changed me.
Because I'm a Capricorn, I'mstubborn.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
You're South nodes in
Taurus.
That's why you're even morestubborn.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Yes, but it's the
letting go that has created
magic in my life.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
That's exactly your
major lesson in this lifetime
and it's going to help you inyour career too.
And I want to say another thingwith your career, your North
node is conjunct Uranus, andUranus is about the
revolutionary.
So you are here to do thingsthat, even if people don't
understand, if they don't agreewith you, you're here to change
the way that we view the world.
So you're here to just goforward and even if people don't
see it oh my God, I love can.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
I keep this
Absolutely.
So anybody who wants their likecharts read and you can't find
your time, like the time thatyou were born a lot of the times
, the hospital will have it oryour birth record would have it.
If you're a little bit older, you might have to call the
hospital.
I know this because it's in thearchives, so you could find it.
I love this.
Okay, and I know because weneed tips for anyone who wants
(14:03):
to invite a little bit morespirituality in their lives.
In a smaller way, what sort ofsetup can someone do to just
have a place of serenity, aplace of calmness, in their room
?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yeah, Well, as I was
saying in the beginning, it's so
important to take that time foryourself and to connect with
your soul.
And life is busy, right?
There's so much noise out there.
So in our house, it's reallyimportant to create a sacred
space right, to create an altar, and that's really a place that
we can connect with ourself andconnect with our soul and
disconnect from the outsideworld, right?
So it would be beautiful if Icould show you, please.
Yes, so over here, what we justneed to do is take a blanket or
(14:39):
a towel, anything, because youwant to create this space in
your house.
And then, since we're stickingwith the theme of astrology as
above, so below and we'rebringing in the elements which
are in our body as well I wantedto talk about bringing the
elements to your space, right?
And the way we're going to dothis is because we're going to
honor the elements, and when wehonor the elements, we're
actually honoring ourself aswell.
(15:00):
So it's a really beautifulritual, and ritual brings us
back into the moment, okay, sowe have air.
So for the air element, youcould have incense, you could
have a feather, and air is aboutknowledge, it's about
information, it's about ourbreath of life, right.
So this is really where westart from.
And then we also have theelement of water.
(15:22):
You can bring in, actually, achalice or water, or you can
bring in seashells, and water isabout the emotional realm.
So it is about our healing,it's about our emotions, it's
about flowing through life andletting go right.
So that's really important.
And then we have the element ofearth.
Now you can take some crystalsand you can place them, like
(15:43):
anything that calls to you, oryou can take flowers is also
really beautiful.
And earth is about grounding,it's about connecting to
yourself, connecting to MotherGaia, and it's about sustaining
life.
And then the other element isfire, and so fire you can use
candles for that and fire isabout the initiation, it's about
(16:04):
the passion, it's about theenergy of life.
So it's really important totake all that in.
And then we actually have onemore element here, and this is
about ether, which is spirit.
So I love bringing in a pictureof either a soul or a deity, or
God, a goddess, or someone inyour family, like an ancestor.
Those are all of mygrandparents.
(16:24):
I love that so much.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
All four of them in
one picture.
Because what it is?
Yes, these are my fourgrandparents.
They're all four in one picture.
Beautiful, I love.
I miss every single one of them.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
And what it is is.
You're paying reverence to,thanking you for bringing me
into this life, and I honor youand I know that you're around me
here.
So all this is is bringing youback to yourself and your soul
and connecting with the subtlerealm around you, which is, yeah
, it's really beautiful and it'ssuch a simple thing.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
I do believe that
everybody, you know, in design
we always create these she shedsand these man caves, and not
everybody has the space tocreate that in there.
We all want it, but it's almostsometimes impossible,
especially if you live in asmall space.
But this is not impossible.
This is so easy to set up andeven if you only take a few
minutes out of your day to sithere and to meditate, that makes
all the difference in your dayand how everything unfolds,
absolutely.
(17:16):
Thank you, danielle.
Thank you so much.
I'm so happy.
We're friends.
Me too.
You're like a friends withbenefits.
I know I love it.
That's what they all say.
When am I going to be rich?
We'll talk about it, okay.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
You do have a Venus
conjunct, your rising sign.
That's really good.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Somebody, when I got
read, said 2027 is going to be a
big year.
Oh well, I'd have to?
Speaker 2 (17:39):
I don't know that.
Yeah, there's a lot going on.
I hope it's good.
Pluto's squaring your nodesright now.
It's powerful Good.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Yeah, ready.
Thank you, danielle.
You're like a friends withbenefits.
Thank you to take small stepsto redesign your life.
