It has been more than a year since last I published something here, and still I notice the podcast going strong when it comes to listening analytics.
I am surprised and proud. Mostly surprised. And it gets me pondering. What if I started to create and publish new content every week?
A week ago I came over something called listen notes and I could read that this podcast is one of the top 2.5% most popular shows out of 2,882,710 podcasts globally with a listen score of 38! So what is that? a Listen Score (LS) is a metric that shows the estimated popularity of a podcast compared to all other rss-based public podcasts in the world on a scale from 0 to 100. The higher, the more popular. It's like Nielsen ratings for podcasts.
Nielsen ratings is the national ratings of the popularity of American television shows. The system was developed by A.C. Nielsen in 1950, and by the early 21st century it sampled television viewing in about 25,000 homes.
But back to the podcast... yeah... what if I did podcast every week. What if I set the intention to grow it and work steadily towards a quality show that would attract and keep even more listeners around? What if some of them would appreciate the podcast so much that they would like to support the show financially?
All of a sudden I could be spending more of my time creating content for this podcast. That is a wonderful thought!
A week ago I got a message from Andreas from Germany, and he was asking for a way to donate to the show. So finally I realize that what I create has value and I am worthy of receiving monetary contributions for my efforts, although that is not my incentive for doing this and never will be.
If there is a will there should be a way, so here it is, Andreas, and the rest of you who would like to show your support and appreciation. Buy me a coffee! :)
What will you hear in this Episode?
In this episode I talk about big changes in my life. I was at the time of recording set in my campervan in south of Spain. Alone.
I also share a new passion with you! ;)
