Rebekah Gunn sat down with Brad Boettcher, Director of Marketing and Air Service Development for the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission, to discuss the pending Small Community Air Service Development grant application.
The Roanoke Regional Chamber supports the Commission's strategic plan to offer direct service to Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, or Detroit. Quality air service is an important component of our transportation portfolio, and we recognize there is a need for expanded service from the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) to western markets.
Businesses can participate by writing a letter of support for the Commission's grant application. Email rgunn@roanokechamber.org for additional details and a template letter.
