Speaker 1 (00:14):
What's up, everybody.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome back to Part do of our Bachelor in Paradise recap. Now, listen,
we tried something a little sneaky on you guys. At
the end of part one, we were halfway through the
notes that doctor, the esteemed doctor Laura Berman was giving
(00:35):
to our couples after she spied on them during their
jungle challenge. Also, Cecily used the word eskimo a lot
of times, and it was in a kind offense.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
I changed it.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, yeah, I mean listen, I was shamed, and I understand.
We broke it down, and the Stephanie brought up Irish twins,
which is not a compliment to the Irish. Let's not
forget the Irish gobye by the French is also I
always I learned it as a French goodbye.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Oh it's come out. I guess is a little different
because it's like yeah, so anyway, you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
We were being a little politically incorrect and Cecily got canceled.
And listen, if you want to know the.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Full party, you got canceled in the pool like drunkenly
drinking Margarita's like, is now.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
The time for this?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Uh No, not yet, not yet not yet, but so okay.
But what we're saying is we were what we tried
to do was started off mid scene so that you
guys would feel a little bit of shame in not
listening to part one and go back and listen to
part one, because here's the thing. We do some good
work over there.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yes on ours, probably better, I'm going to say, because
we kind of run out of steam. I'm already out
of steam. I'm going to tell you right now as
we get into part two. I mean, I'm here for it,
but not as here for it as I was.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
At the beginning.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Yeah, So what we're saying is go back. You're here now,
go ahead and listen to this as much as you want, and.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Then go back. Yeah, that's where we get really and yeah,
and if.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
You want, we can talk about what I what we
were going to talk about, which is gloomy gloomy hmm.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
We love loomy gummies. I love loomy gummies for many,
many reasons. When one of my favorite things about them,
and I've said this, is that they are just very consistent.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
You know what you're getting.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
They're super mellow, and they're specifically designed to make you
feel good and not like super baked. You know, you're
not like out of your mind right, feel good like
you just want to de stress or you want to
kind of boost you mood, or you want to sleep better.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
They have a strain for everything. You choose the strain
that you want. That's kind of.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
John in fact, was having to do a bunch of
editing the other day, so he tried the Sativa Orange
Cream Cookies gummy and he said it was very easy
to lock in, get in the zone and it made
it like fun. Yeah, and they're delicious, but you got
to be careful with that part. They are so good.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Loomy Gummies are available nationwide. You want to go to
loomigummies dot com. That's Lumi Gummies dot com. Use code
rosepricks for thirty percent off your order. Again, that's Lumi
Gummies dot com. Code rosepricks, Loomygummies dot com code rosepricks.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
All right, So where we left off. Basically she just
told Andrew and Alex they have no chemistry. And then
Andrew is upset about this. He's like, you know, it sucks, man,
Like you feel something like really strong, like something so strong,
so good. And then somebody says like, no, you're wrong, Like,
(03:46):
fuck that what a bitch?
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Right right? Yeah, he was kind of because they want
to win.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
It's five not only love, but half a million dollars,
yeah was one of them said half a billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
One of them thought it was so.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Then half turns her turns her insights to Jeremy and Bailey.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Right ooh this was interesting to me in a weird way.
She said they have the chemistry, but they're not aligned
that really, and she's trying to say because they just
like different things. And Jeremy did not like that at all.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
No, he was mad.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
He has anger issues and he doesn't like women. I
don't know about that. I don't get that. Do you
think he because he just doesn't like I don't think
he respects women. Remember how he talked to what Susie?
Oh Yeah, yeah, he's just weird. He's a weird and aggressive.
And when he was talking to her and he's like you,
I want you to come back. Yeah, this was so
(04:39):
disrespectful to Bailey. No, he's an asshole, Hey, don't.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
He's like he's She's like, well, you guys don't really
like to do you know?
Speaker 3 (04:45):
She's four seasons and you're like talking about camping, and
he's like, I don't think you have to do to
send thanks.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
You can do different things on stolla. I got along,
so whatever.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
So she's like, Okay, he's like I think you're Yeah,
he says that to camera, He's like, I think doctor
Burman is wrong.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
She she was just like yeah, you know, I mean,
she says she doesn't want to live uncomfortably, and you
were like you call this uncomfortably?
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I mean, so are you guys really aligned? Right? Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Meanwhile he goes yeah, he says, he's like, yeah, well
it's true. I couldn't disagree more. But thanks doctor. Yeah. Yeah,
I don't lack y'all and I don't belove So now
it's Kat. This is kind of funny to me because
I don't think that Dale did a very good job
with Kat. But so she's saying, she's like, well, Kat,
kind of I did not like the way she said it.
(05:37):
I just wrote Cat lost her shit, but she was
like Cat lost her poop.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
That really grows down me too. I really did not
like doctor Burman saying that. But then she's like giving
Dale all this.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Crustion, like he stayed so calm and really hells like,
I mean, yeah, he was calm because he's a zombie,
not because he was being gentle with her.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
He wasn't very nice to her. I'm so disconnected.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
He doesn't shit about her, he doesn't want it so
clear that he's not into her.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Agreed, and it's so stupid.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
So then we get to Spencer and she says, but
then she does say this interesting thing, which which I
sort of agreed with, because he goes, you know, you
were doing everything within your power to help her, but
then you started getting frustrated yourself. And she's like, there's
something called a hero complex. I thought this was interesting.
She goes, like, you did all this stuff, like you
built the nest, but there's a shadow component to that.
(06:26):
So like when things don't go your way, like when
it doesn't help the person you're trying to help, then
you get upset and shut down.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Right, And that was it. He was kind of getting mad.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yes, yes, but they give him so much credit for
It's like, but you really tried your best, all right?
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Maybe.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
So then you're thinking she's gonna just gush over Spencer
and Jess, right right, but she kind.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Of she's like yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
I mean they're obviously very cute together. They have chemistry,
You guys have chemistry and the other stuff. Right, But
then she says some there's a butt, which I can't. Yeah,
she's like, but it's going really fast. Yeah, but it
is for everybody. But it's Bachelor in Paradise.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
What are you talking about.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
They're supposed to get They're supposed to.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Get engaged in four days. That's the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
We're gonna find out later. So I don't understand why
they would bring in this buzzkill to be like, whoa, whoa,
whoa whoa. Guys, I encourage you to take your time,
take your time, what like, explore your relationship for the
next four days, and then get engaged. It's so weird,
like it goes against what they're trying to do with
the show. In fact, earlier in the show, Hannah was like, hey, guys,
(07:39):
there's a there's an engagement at the end of this.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Just want to let you guys know.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
So I don't even understand this, so dumb. So then
Jesse comes back, all right, the winner is dot dot Dot.
Who do you think it was going to be? Okay, Jess, Well, no,
this is what. I had this thought, and I know
you'll agree with me, but I was like, here is
where they can go outside of the game show rules
(08:05):
and do their own producing.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
I think they.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Well, I don't know who I would have given it to,
but they didn't want to give it to Spencer and Jess,
so they just they told her who to pick. The
producers decided what was going to cause more trouble. Yes,
and it's kat' Daale winning, right, which was like a
big real We're like really, Everybody's like okay, yeah, just
because she was freaking out the most. Uh. Now we
(08:31):
find out they're going to vote on which man will
not have a rose to hand out. But then is
this the part where they say that it's there's actually
going to be two men.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Who so two women are not yet? I think we
find out later.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
But Keith and Jonathan said the words chopping blocks so
many times I threw I threw up at my television.
By the way, my friend and I can I just
do one more side note? My friend and I were
laughing so hard the other night because we both hate
it when people say like, oh, maybe so mad I
peed a little, or I laughed so hard I peed
a little like how hacky it is to say that.
So we were like, what if you just named the
(09:06):
most like medical, Like, oh my god, Stephanie. That was
so that made me laugh so hard that I had
what was the thing like the stibular, like we just
come up with like the longest thing a little to
say that, Oh, oh, here's what it is. You made
me laugh so hard. I deep vein thrombosist a little,
a little in my mouth.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
It's just so stupid. But yeah, that was I was
just so.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Annoyed by the words shopping block that I yeah, that's
used me from watching televisions.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Cat and Dale go on their date. Yeah, and they
have a good time and cats like I feel safe.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Oh god, this is when he says he's like one
of them. I think he says it like you feel
like home, and I what if he just said you
feel like home? I mean home was a crack house.
Home was a brothel. I was like, really, you've never
mentioned that, and all this time and all these trauma bonds,
you never mentioned growing up in a brothel. He just
like gives the entire Richard Pryor like biopic story, like
(10:06):
are you sure it was you? Or Richard Pryor. No,
maybe it was Richard Pryor. Now that I think of it,
I'm programmed to think it was me. But it could
have been Richard Pryor. Let's not fool herself. He's never
heard of Richard Pryor.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Court you feel like home, She's feel like Jared Jeremy
pops up and goes.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Who I don't know how, and they're like, it's a comedian.
It was a comedian like old people, old people comedians,
a loss a committee. You don't know what a comedian is, geez,
really like somebody who tells jokes, lots of jocks.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Oh my god, he's the worst.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
All right.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
So so now Spencer and Jess are cuddling and he
is and I didn't see this coming, honestly because I
thought she was super into him, and I'm like, well,
this has got to be exactly what she wants. He's like,
I would love for us to move in together, and
she's like, I'm down there, I'm not sure I'm ready
(11:12):
to move in. But they live in separate states, so
like if they're if they're super in love, I didn't
think it was so weird that he'd be talking about
moving in so then then she he says, like when
do you want to have kids or whatever, and she's like, uh,
you know, just just like before, I'm thirty, that's all.
And he goes, well, I can't wait that long, right too,
(11:34):
I was kids right away. And she's like whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa whoa.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Yeah, that was a little Handmaid's tale. Ish though, thirty
is pretty young to have kids. I mean I know that.
I know it didn't used to be, but in this
day and age.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
But if she's like twenty two, okay, yeah, let's say,
but I don't think she's twenty two.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
She's been on the show for a while, so she's
not twenty two.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
She's meaning like she's had a birthday since they've been
on Bachelor in Paradise.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Yeah, I mean this particular, she was on other seasons,
so she's at least like twenty six, right, I mean
we could look that up, right, Okay, saying like twenty
four years and he's like, I want to but yeah,
he's very Dallas in that way.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I think. Interesting.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, well, so don't forget. Let's not forget that he works.
He's very basic. He works as a member of PET
He does pet portraits.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
He probably like works on the mall. He probably doesn't anymore.
He doesn't now he doesn't need to. Now he's got
like you know, he's got some ads and stuff. He's
an influencer. He gets paid to do this shit.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Yes, he so cute, though, I really like, you'll never
get me to turn on Spencer, never even if he
wants me to have a baby right now at Spencer.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Yeah, I think he's really cute. Don't get me wrong.
I was not putting down like his job. I was
just saying he's got he's already got.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Like big dad energy.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
I mean, yeah, yeah, he's like he's like a regular guy.
He's got like a little business of taking pictures of
your pets. He's not an influencer, and he's not like
you know, he's not waiting tables trying to be an actor.
He's got like a real job and he's kind of
settled and he wants a wife. And yes, yes I don't.
I think she is way more like I just don't
(13:11):
know if I'm going to get acting work right away,
Like I gotta say, right, I gotta do the la
thing to do acting.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
I don't like I think do acting.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
I think that's what's going on. Yeah, and I think
I'm more on his side. In fact, surprisingly I don't.
I just think he's like, I want to be aligned
in like I'm if you're my person, I want to
like get this going. I don't think he wants to
sit around. And he's the one that lives in Texas, right, Alice, Yeah,
and she lives in La. I think he's like, I
(13:41):
don't really want to sit around in Dallas while you're
trying to do be an actress in La. Like, I'm
not going to be wanting to do that.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
So I think she says she says, she's like he's
in love, but she's like, I'm not there yet, but
I'm trying to fill it.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Just say feel say it with me, feel it. Feel it.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
There's a different word than still. I'm trying to fill it,
and I hope I feel it now. I'm as someone
who's from the South, I don't understand Spencer is the
one from Dallas, right.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Oh we looked her up there. She's from like North
Carolina or something. We looked it up.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Okay, okay, which is fine, I listen, I get accents,
but all right, So.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Then producers try to the producers like, are you nervous
that you're not filling it yet?
Speaker 1 (14:24):
And she's like, well, I am nervous. I am nervous.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
So I was like, okay, so we've thrown a little
wrench in, so I need and Andrew are talking, and
Andrew is worried that he's too much of a giver.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
It's too sweet.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
I'm just like, I'm just all I do is give, give, give,
I'm just like such a nice guy.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Like what if I'm too into it? And then you just.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Drop me right, which is a fair thing to say,
But I just love when you put it like that.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
It's like your old joke of like one thing to
think about me.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
Yeah, yeah, I'm too much like if you we were
at a job interview, what are some of the I'm
just a perfectionist.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Ye, I cannot leave my desk until the job is done.
It's just like, oh, it's so annoying, right, yeah, Like
I'm just a giver, that's just who I am. So punctual,
which you know a lot of people can be like
looser about stuff like that, but I just have to
be on time, you know, me.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
One thing to know about me I'm just a lover,
and I'm just like a ball of light that shines
really bright, brighter than most. It's just one thing you
should know. If there's one thing you should know about me,
that's kind of.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
It, right.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
But if there's two things we should know about you,
that was my joke now setting you up work.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
If there's one thing to know about me, it's that
I just love too much. And there's two things to
know about me. It's that I love too much and
I have a crippling heroin addiction.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
It did not work. It did not work. You know.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I told you who gave me that joke was Anthony Jesselneck,
and he couldn't make it work.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Of my well, if he can't do it, I can't
do Wow. I did not know that many years ago.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Okay, okay, So so let's see back in the bedroom. Uh,
Jess is freaking out because she's like.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
I'm just not sure I'm ready, I'm not sure I'm
filling it out. And the last time I moved for
a guy didn't work out because he cheated on me
like a lot of times. And then in the other room,
Spencer's like, oh man, I am not just falling for her.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
I am in love with this girl. I love her
like I need to like crawl into her skin and
just like assume her.
Speaker 3 (16:38):
So these Jerry's summer loving dude, like, tell me more.
They're doing that again, the summer loven thing, which I
don't hate and I love. Okay, why do I have that?
Wells asks kat If. The cockroach just bit her, which
made me laugh. Oh, I was really freaking out, and
he was like, did the cockrow? He said it real dryly,
(16:58):
really just goes.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
To the cockrow, just bite you or she goes. They
don't really do that, but they scared me. I just
thought that, really he was. He's so cute.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Okay, four days left, so Jess and Spencer it's time
for it's like cocktail party time and jessin Spencer are
talking more and she's scared and Spencer says, we only
have four days left and like I'm going back to
Texas and you're going back to California.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
But then he's like, but I thought about it.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
And I really do want to do it at your
pace and like not freak you out. And now she
feels better. Everybody's making out and now Alex talks to Andrew,
I have you can stop me at any time if
you had no time with you and says like she's
really reflected on why she's been holding back and basically,
(17:51):
and I'm going to tell you, I'm not making fun
of this because I genuinely had forgotten that she had
this fucked up upbringing.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Yeah, remember when was it?
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Again?
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Though I don't I remember?
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Well, her dad died, Okay, I'm now I'm confusing Alex
with Letia because they both had like weird backgrounds, like
because Letia was adopted into a different family, right or no, no, no,
Latilla is the one whose dad died, whose dad was
like Polynesian, remember, and then the mom got remarried, but
(18:23):
she loved her stepdad. Okay, So Alex had some kind
of very neglectful something bad in her upbringing.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
She did not her mom didn't love her.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
I think she was like, I don't know it was bad,
and she's like, listen, I think my upbringing like I
just didn't ever feel loved. And then I just wrote,
now I'm feeling sad for her because before I was like,
she's super like hyper and performative, but then I'd forgotten
that she had this weird, fucked up background, and so
(18:54):
I understand why she sort of has a hard time
yesting yes, I agree, Like he's like.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Love yeah, yeah, He's like, well, I feel it. I'm
feeling it. He feels it.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
And then he says which this part I honestly thought
was kind of cute because he's like, you know, if
I were to say like I love you like, I
would mean it and I will always take care of you.
And then she's like, oh my god, like I thought
you were saying it, yeah, my heart, but then you
(19:27):
didn't say it.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
And then she's like, well I feel I Oh my god,
I oh oh. And then he goes, I'm falling in
love with you.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Yeah, he takes it for you, because she's like, okay,
I guess I'm gonna have to be the one to
say it first. So she's stammering, having a hard time,
totally been there. So he takes the he like takes
it off of her, like he's like, let me do
I'll take care. They're really cute. I loved it, and
then she says it back and then they actually flat
out say I love you.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
I know. Really sweet. It's very high school but very sweet.
I was good. He's so cute.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
We needed that. I'm rooting for them to win the
whole thing. I wish they would. They probably won't, but
I wish they would.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
And then she kind of runs off because she got
that's like embarrassed, like keeping with the high school theme.
She's like, oh my god, she like runs away and
then he can't follow her, and she's like, what what
are you doing and he's like, I can't, like and
then he points to his crotch and she's like.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Oh my god, you have a boner.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Yeah, that was a little She's definitely a little stunted.
Definitely stunted in many ways, which is it is all tracks.
At least, she's very like who she is. It doesn't change.
She's not full of shit, like it's all just who
she is. And he handled that well. Some guys would
be like stop it, fuck off, Like he didn't do
that at all.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
He was laughing and they were adorable. Yeah, okay, so Jesse.
I think it's cute that he got a love boner,
not just like a sex boner, you know what I mean,
Like he was a row.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Just by the fact that they were like saying I
love you to each other, which I thought was cute.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
I give guys love boners all the time. I mean too,
just I just look at him. I just write him
back on Hinge. And so Jesse comes in to remind
them again how the game works. That's that whole thing.
I'm just like, God, we have to go through this again.
So and it's two hours till the Rose ceremony, and
(21:26):
now I have chopping block, chopping block, chopping block, chopping block,
and I wrote, I know this scene is really triggering
to Cecily. Yes, I mean I had that earlier, but
maybe yes, I wrote, literally, yeah, they say it against
stop saying chopping block, I wrote, please stop. So I
just said word for Kathy and Keith. So Keith has
already said that he's going to quit. And then now
we see a scene where he's very clear with Kathy.
(21:48):
He's like, I'm telling you what I'm going to do
and putting myself up. I don't think I should be here.
Love should win over money, and Kathy is about to agree.
I don't think she agrees yet, but she's about to
do the same.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Well, because which this comes into like I had some
thoughts about this too, because I think Kathy knows they're
going home too, except for later they're going to change
the game a little bit, So it could have been
a good thing that they're trying, that they tried to
stay because I think Kathy's feeling like, well, she's a villain, like, well,
(22:22):
we don't know what's going to happen, so we don't
know for sure that we're going to go home.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
But yeah, so.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
She's kind of any that they deserve it, like he
would be embarrassed if they got it. She's like now
she's yeah, she's annoyed, and I got what she was annoyed,
but also like she's going to change her mind anyway.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, so Jonathan and Leah know they're on the verge
of getting kicked off, yep, because they feel that they're
that they're getting discriminated against, you know, because they're platonic
like people are just like, h they're discriminating against us,
which any way, we.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Didn't even say when Jonathan and when we're having their
glamping fake lamping thing that she she was like, Johnathan
should wear more deodorant.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
That was kind of funny.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
I mean you could smell it through that once she
said it is like I can smell that. I totally
understand what's happening there. I can, so I felt for
her in that moment.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Yeah, and you know what, she needs to get a
little ick from him because I have it.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
She needs to catch up too. Okay, coming back to
where we are now.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
So Bailey and Jeremy are talking and Bailey's like, do
you do at meta vote like with you?
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Oh yeah, she says, God, like just say it, like.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
If you want me to vote with you, like, I'll
just totally vote with you, like I don't care.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
I don't really want to think for myself. Jeremy.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, I hated that so much, even though I know
that you like beg Susie to come back, like, I'm
not letting anything stop me from like my magical thinking that,
like you're really into me.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
We gotta is stratage.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
We gotta strataga on this my strataga Like Okay, I'll
the vocal.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Right, yes, whatever you want? Yeah? Then all right.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
So then there's a scene where with Kathy and Keith
where he's basically actually crying.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
He's like, yes, so I'm a home missake.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Really what I go?
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
And uh and then I wrote I wrote so Keith
tells her straight up like I want to go. I
want to go, And then I said, I think there's
got to be a twist because it's only nine to twenty.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
So well, they have a whole other stupid game, but
we didn't know.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
But we don't know this at the time, so we're like,
why are you guys wrapping this up? Maybe the whole
episode is an hour and a half. So I paused
my DVR and I was like, nope, it's going to
go till ten. Then we chirun one hour to the vote.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Yes, So they're still talking about like who the threats are.
They're kind of you know, they're they're trying to align,
but they don't really seem to ever really do that.
It's like, Okay, we cool, we cool, you can vote
for Keith and who else, Like they're all happing. There's
so many conversations like this that I was just like,
I kind of can't so I don't need any of this, right.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
But then we have a little complication because even though
Keith has been saying he wants to go home and
we thought maybe Kathy was going to agree, now she's
like telling everyone like, uh, I'm staying. I want to stay,
and and she's like, listen, Keith doesn't really want to
go home. He's just on the fence. You guys, like,
he thinks he wants to go home, but you guys
(25:33):
need to talk him into staying, which I thought was
a weird thing because so then so Alex is like, Okay,
I'll talk to him. I'll talk to him, mm hmm.
But then Keith is apparently going to vote for himself.
Uh right, yeah for sure.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I was kind of like, okay, well either because they're
not doing these rose ceremonies a week apart anymore. And
this was before already even knew that the next one
was going to be like a day away. But I
just think it's interesting that, like, who cares if Kathy?
This was very production because one couple is going to
leave and then the next one's going to leave like
two days later, right, So why don't they just let
(26:16):
Kathy and Keith.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Go That's what I said, Let him go home, especially him,
he wants to go right crying, right, right.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
So then Dale thinks they should get rid of Jonathan
and Leiah strategically, and everyone kind of agrees, because then
everyone says that then Keith should leave and then they
can get rid of Jonathan and Leah the next week.
And I was confused by this because I don't what
is the strategy. I don't under there is none, That's
what I was saying earlier. They're all just changing their mind.
(26:46):
There is no real strategy.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
So now the rules.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
The girls all have this girl dad talk with Keith,
which was very confusing to me, and they're just like, listen, Keith,
you're such an amazing person, like your girl dad, like
girl dad, girl dad, and he's like girl dad and
they're like yes, girl dad, Like.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Well dad station waging girl dad.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
Yeah, And they're like, you know, like we need like
one thing that's missing here is like girl dad, like
and you're the girl dad guy, so like you're really
helping us, like like you're like so many years older
than us, Like we're only in our thirties and you're
like sixty, so like you're so like fish out of
water here, but like we need that, Like we need
(27:29):
somebody who's not sexual in any way, shape or form,
who would never even like probably have a sexual thought
in his head because you're over that because you're like eighty,
so like we need that.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
I was feeling insulted. M I mean, I was checking out,
but you were. You got invested in that, and I
get that I did not get as much out of
that SCE.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
I was just like, you is sweet, you isn't you
was trying hell And he's like, I am.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Really funny funny that you said all that just now
because that must have gone on for a while, because
I just wrote, okay enough because right after that scene,
I'm like, hey, yeah, let's go like I got you
know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (28:10):
You know what's like really funny is I wrote, I
almost teared up.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
I didn't tear up, but I was actually feeling this
when they're like he's like, well that.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
When Keith was like I might actually like have some worth,
Like I feel like I'm kind of like important, like
I'm important.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
To these people, it made me sad. I was like,
he feels like he's just.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Done being important because he's sixty.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Just made me sad. You can go home if he wants.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
No, I want to mistake so unhappily. I wrote, everyone
is voting for Kathy and for Keith and Kathy. So
unless there's a twist. I don't know what the deal is,
but there was a twist. Okay, yes, take us down
that twist road.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Oh, I know it's good. Okay.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
So the roses are so Cat and Dale, Andrew and Alex, Justin, Spencer,
Jeremy and Bailey. Okay, so they're all safe. So it's
then we find out it's a tie. Mm hmm Sdale.
It's a big it's a big deal. So Dale is
going to get to decide, and then we get a
little flashback of Dale being irritated at Jonathan and guess what,
(29:23):
You're going to be very surprised. But I was on
Dale's side. I was like, Jonathan is a little funny,
you say her cat because he goes for Cad.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
He like is always flirting with Cat, and Dale's had
enough of it, so yeah, now I get to do
something about it.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
But he really was going after her so hard and
constantly being like whispery about it, and it was kind
of gross, and I was like, you know what, if
I'm Dale, I'm like, get the.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Fuck out of here.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
And to Dale's credit, well, because he's an avatar, he
like never really mentioned it, like these this these all
these days is that you know.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
So he's like, you know what, fuck that guy, Dale
Cats and it was time for them to go. So
the rose goes to Keith, who gives it to Kathy.
So Jonathan, where that's it. That's bye bye, right, so
she's bad and okay, off they go. So then they
all hug. Kathy needs a drink. I'm sure you needed
a drink. Yeah, And then just when I'm like, okay,
(30:24):
this is over. Then we can move on, we can
move on with our lives. Now we have a whole
other game they have to play.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Well, there's a storm storm. Oh yeah, well but they
play the game before the storm.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
I mean they go out and play this stabbing game,
well not dab in the back.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Well, first there's a storm.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
They're showing like there's a storm brewing, right, it's very
stormy out. And then yes, they show the things, the
little stands. They have these little fake like almost like scarecrows,
but wood of each of the contestants. And then they
tell us it's Day nineteen of Paradise.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
So dumb. This really kind of agitated me.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
Get they give them like little knives and then they
have little questions.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
First, first, wells comes out and gives them this paper
with a very cryptic clue, and I.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Was like, I hate this kind of thing.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I know, I know, I know, saying there are four
of you and brah blah dah and blah blah blah
and behind your backs and watch our people's and it's
all like a poem and they're all so aggressively stupid
anyway that they're just like, yes, ah, a god, it's
a redd all. How al I supposed to solve this
red all? Yeah, so then they don't have to remember that.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
I was like, I didn't even remember riddle.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
So then Jesse's like, listen, guys, everybody's got like opinions,
and some people like to share their opinions and other
people like to keep their opinions to themselves. But it's
very important because other people's opinions of your partner could
reflect on you, and you could be like a really
(32:01):
sweet person, but if your partner is Jeremy, that could
really bring you down right in the eyes of us.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
There's a premise, so they give them like who would
be the most likely to blank? And then they have
to stab that person in the back. But yeah, and
then they tally that shit up.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Then they tell them, but he also says before this,
He's like, listen, there's going to be another rose ceremony
to night.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Mm hmmm mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
And he's like, and guess what. Guess what, you fuckers,
two more couples are going to leave.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Now that's a show that they thought they were going
to have like fourteen episodes, probably like, uh, you got
one more, so you best go ahead.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
And wrap it up. Yeah, wrap it up?
Speaker 3 (32:46):
And I was like, wait what? So then that game
just felt so stupid. I didn't understand the point of
that game with respect to what they have to do.
I just it was just dumb. They already know what
they're going to have to do or not do, does
matter how many people like strategically like throw knives into
their backs. I was like, I'm not playing this game
with you, guys.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
I don't like it. I didn't like it.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
It was unnecessary, right, just let them hang out, let
them go hook up, give them some margaritas, and get
them on the hot tub. Like what are we doing
with these stupid games in the storm?
Speaker 1 (33:19):
Yeah? I don't like that. So they do all that, and.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
They have so some of the questions are like who.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
Uh. Let's see.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
One of them was whose childish antics are most likely
to turn their partner off?
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Mm hmm, and they a.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Lot of all out for Alex, which was interesting. So
is she being really childish because I thought they would
all vote for Cat?
Speaker 3 (33:44):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (33:45):
Interesting. No, I think it's a little bit all. I mean,
I think they're just saying she's just young. She's reading young. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
So then the next question is whose trust issues will
eventually sour their relationship, and everybody goes for Cat, and
then who has the biggest codependency issues? And Kat gets
a lot of those. So she's getting pissed because she's like, wow, okay,
so like I have trust issues and I guess I'm
really codependent.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
Glad to know. So people are getting kind of pissed. Yeah.
So yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Then Kathy gets one stab on the codependency thing and
they're all like, yeah, she's codependent with Tequila, and I
was like, Jesus, this is god. Yeah, you know her
kids are watching this just like yep. And then they're
like who secretly has an eye for someone else? And
of course everybody gets for Jeremy.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
Yeah, and he's like another Chandon, another done. I'm not
a chair and he's so, oh, I don't like him.
He's wearing these crazy sunglasses. He thinks he's so he's
like he is a frack guy.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
He's trying to be wacky with these these big pineapples sunglasses.
And he's like, yeah, like Billy has nothing to worry about, Like,
I'm not a won't shit. I don't And I get
over my axes like roll like quickly, Yeah, I don't
have any axes in my law. So then who's keeping
the most secrets of something big from their partner? And
(35:11):
Andrew get the most.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
Oh oh that's weird, so like you know that's not
going to be anything. You know, that's not going to
turn into anything. It's just some bullshit, right what I
mean is that even going to come back?
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Probably not. We don't have time for it to come back.
I just not got a weird that.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
They're all so somebody has a secret, okay, all right,
So then the question is who's more motivated by money
than love? And Jeremy gets a bunch again. Yeah I
felt Jeremy's getting at everything. Yeah, he's getting it because
they don't. Yeah, because it's not to be trusted. Then
they're like who doesn't deserve to be here. I and
(35:50):
the wording of this is like mean, because then they
all go Keith.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
Yeah, well but they feel that they just feel because
he doesn't want to be there.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
I feel like that's kind of fair. He feels the same, really.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Right, So then we's it's left on a cliffhanger. Do
we have another one that's the right?
Speaker 4 (36:06):
No? No?
Speaker 1 (36:06):
No?
Speaker 2 (36:06):
So then there's lightning, so they all have to go inside.
But once everybody's back at the resort and out of
the rain, they're all asking each other like what they
thought of the game.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
And that's when Jeremy's like.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
Yeah, this is ridiculous that I got for cheating, because like,
I've never cheated. And then Bailey goes, yeah, I got one.
I got one for that too, and I've never cheated.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
And then andrews, I just want to go inside and
eat and drink. They're not.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
I mean, I would just stab whatever the closest thing
next to me was. I wouldn't even know which was which,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
I just thought it was funny that Andrew tries to
explain to Jeremy. He's like, yeah, it's the perception of
who seems like they're a big cheater and that's you.
I was like yes, Andrew, Yeah, all right, So now
there's going to be a rose ceremony that So everyone's
trying to strategize and Kat and Dale are like feeling desperate,
(37:07):
so they call so now people are going to try
to do like alliances. They call Spencer and Jesson and
they're like they do a lot of that. They're like, okay,
like if we vote for together and we get Kathy
and Keith, like we could stay safe.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
Meanwhile, Keith is now like I'm voting for myself. I
want to leave, which she's been saying that the whole
for a long time.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
And Kathy's like, yeah, I'm with you, but who We
need to give it to the people who the most
deserve it, who need the money the most, which is
a little tacky too. I wouldn't want to be the
person who's like, yeah, some of them are doing really
well financially. And then they cut to Cat like okay,
but we really need to give it to Alex because
she's got like a lot of debt. Whoa god, He's like,
(37:51):
I don't know what you're talking. I mean, Keith is
so checked out at this point, he's like.
Speaker 1 (37:54):
Yeah, I don't care. I'm just I'm leaving.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Yeah, yeah, but we do have to kick out two people.
So everybody's pretty everybody knows Keith and Kathy are going,
but they.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
Have a vote.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Yeah, they're going to determine. It's going to come down
to them to determine who's leaving. So now they're all
going to try to like kiss up to Kathy and
Keith girl to exactly yeah, because they don't.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Yeah, I think they're going to get rid of Jeremy
and Bailey. Who do we do? We have to get
rid of? What do we have left?
Speaker 3 (38:24):
So Keith and Kathy are going, and I think Jeremy
and Baylor are going. I think it's going to come
down to Dale and Cat and oh that can't be right,
and Jess, Alex and Andrew and oh Spencer, wait a minute,
So would leave us three couples?
Speaker 1 (38:38):
Right?
Speaker 3 (38:39):
We had, yeah, six couples, So we got rid of
one and now we have to get rid of two more.
So I think it's going to be Spencer and Jess
for sure, Dale and Cat, I think, and then the
surprise twist will be will be Andrew and Alex.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
That's my guess. That's my guess.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Okay, So now in case people don't didn't listen to
episode one, this is the part where they're like, yeah,
but goldens have the power. And then somebody goes to
say Levey and Jeremy goes, what what's that means?
Speaker 1 (39:08):
Bailey said it.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
I believe Bailey said say love and Jeremy's like, what
is and She's like this is such his life and
he's like, okay, what is life? A life is like
you're living that, You're live life, this is your life?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
What does Jeremy's like, stop talking in like foreign languages,
like you're trying to keep me out of you not.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Don't expect French your bang road? Can we get.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Susie on the line, Like now it's really not the
time to try to get Susie back. Other prediction I have, yeah,
and we have not spoiled ourselves at all. But so
maybe I'm really right about this, but I you know,
I think they're going to bring back all the other
people right, like.
Speaker 2 (39:46):
They are right, that's not small, that's not a spoiler.
They show that and like everybody's coming back.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
Oh shit, Well see I don't watch the previews. I
mean the trailers for the next week. I never do,
so I thought I was being so smart.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
But then I thought they said that this is the
last I thought, they're like another twist, this is the
last rose ceremony. So if everybody's back, then is everybody
coming back for this rose ceremony?
Speaker 1 (40:10):
And that's the twist that everybody gets to.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
Vote in this or you think yea, or everybody gets
to vote on which couple wins.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
So maybe, but I think that's my that's my prediction
of the Survivor. That's how Survivor goes.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Sure, they ha yes everybody they can the the tribes
kick out, but then at the end, everybody comes back
and decides who's the final who's the big winner, right, They're.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
Going to do something like that.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
But that so, so I think it's Spencer and jess,
Alex and Andrew and Dale and Kat. That's who I
predict the final all three. I don't think it's going
to be Jeremy, right, They're going to finally get him out.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
So one thing we should say is that because in
this episode they start the cocktail party and we find
out that the couple with the fewest daggers is Alex
and Andrew, so they can be voted for in this ceremony.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Right, so then that makes sense. It's then it's definitely
going to be Jeremy and Bailey. Yeah, and Ethan Kathy
will retire themselves.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
Okay, well we did it. We did it, you guys.
You done that.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
I'm sorry I bought anything that was said in episode
one about making out with the same guy.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
Yeah, and our shouts, by the way, are done in
episode one. So go check out episode one if you
want to know. Yeah, right, and if you're not on
rose Fricks Patreon.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
Take a take a gander, take a listen, because we
got we deep dive into stories over there, and uh.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
We could appreciate this. We could use the support. Yeah,
so check it out too. All right, you guys, thank
you so much. We love you guys. Okay, hie ye
