Speaker 1 (00:14):
Hello, everybody, it's me Cecily Nobler. Your Hollywood cringe queen.
Here was here was Stephanie Wilder Taylor, our Hollywood cringe, duchess.
I don't mean to give you like it's not below,
It's just that I've been doing this particular thing a
little longer.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So your beat climb up. Yeah, it's my beat. It's
my beat. It's your beats. What mm hmmm mm hmm.
You got it?

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Your beats again the headphones? Yes, eats by Drey, Beats
by Drey.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yes. I knew a cop once.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Here's a little side story and then we will get
into it, I promise. But I knew a cop once
who had a lot of like he had beats by Drey,
and he was like kind of giving him out, you know,
like to friends, like gave me one. I was like, cool,
why do you have so many of these? He's like
they fell off the truck. Now, I did not know
what that meant at the time. I was like, so
there was just a truck, You're driving down the freeway

(01:10):
and then a truck had just a bunch of beats
by Drea fall off, and apparently, did you do you
know what that means.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, means they're hot.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yes, but why does the cop have them? They're taking
them from lockers. They're basically if they arrest somebody and
they've got them on and they put them in the locker,
they're just taking them they're hot in the evidence or
or yeah, the evidence room or the person stole them,
and instead of just giving them back to whatever, they
just like, I'm gonna give them the conf exactly. I mean,

(01:39):
I don't have them anymore, so don't come for me.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I mean I enjoyed them very much, but I just
had never heard that expression, and I was like, oh
my god, I'm like in on this. It's exciting. Maybe
he meant you fell off the turnip truck. In many
ways I did. I just go for like the most old.
I didn't just fall off the turnip chuck.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
God. We have a lot of stories today. We have stories.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Do you want to start us out this time? I
know this is my beat, but you have a Kelly Clarkson.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I do, I do, and before it gets too old,
I want to do it early in the episode in
case you know, by the time by the time we air.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
By the way, I'm not wearing any shoes right now.
Mm hmm, this is off the turn. It's just a
real peak behind the curtain. Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I was just touching my feet and my big toe.
I have to sometimes shave sometimes sometimes I have to
shave my big toe because it gets a little bit hairy.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
And now stubble is I have stubble on my big toe.
That's not attractive. Okay, that's so weird that you say that.
That is so weird. I didn't have that. No, that's
so no.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
But my big toe. I just had a pedicure, which
I hardly ever do. To be fair, I don't do
a full pedicure. I just do a cut in color change.
I do not like filing. I do not want you
touching my feet for very long.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
So, but I was getting my color done on my
toes and I was like, I noticed that one toe
was just like brown. But it's not hair, it's not
anything like that. It's just like, I guess I bruised.
Can you just bruise your toe like where it would
show like a bruising.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I don't think. I don't know what was going on,
am I do I have a problem. I don't know. Oh,
you look it up.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
No, but I have another I just realized that I
have another story that we do have to bring up
on this episode. Okay, let's se is this going to
be all me? No, I've got plenty. Okay, but okay,
bring up the stories that we need. Okay, Okay, here
we go. First of all, last week we brought you Kelly.
The Kelly Clarkson story that her ex husband and ex

(03:52):
Manadras black Stock, who was her manager, died and she
stopped her concert in Vegas. She she canceled her concert,
a couple of them, a bunch of her engagement. The
point is she stood by like her ex husband's bedside,
I guess, and was there for her kids, et cetera,
et cetera. It was a beautiful story. Turns out nothing

(04:18):
bad about Kelly. But it turns out that this guy
is even worse than we thought. Oh yeah, it turns
out that Kelly Clarkson's ex assistant right is listed as
Brandon Blackstock's loving partner in his obituary. And guess who
wasn't mentioned at all Kelly Clarkson, mother of his kids.
That is some fucked up shit. That is just I mean, she's.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
That is a saint and he's horrible. Now I knew
about that from like I knew about the Fair. I've
known about some of this stuff, like from people that
I was like, all right, I won't I was just
not going to mention it just because it's like it's
kind of just so shitty to Kelly. Yeah, you know
what I mean, Like it's just like she doesn't need this,
she doesn't deserve this.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
So they're broken up now.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Somebody on Reddit was like, what in the Shania Twain
which I don't know Shania Twain's that.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Don't impress me much. He was horrible. I remember that.
I remember him.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Do you remember when I interviewed Shanaya when I was
at KZLA and I didn't care for her really, she
was nice enough. I just did not like her music
and I hated that we had to play at every
single thirty minutes.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Oh, I just didn't like it. I like her.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Talking to Brad Pitt, I don't think so whatever. Like
the talkie part of that song is please make it stop.
Remember it's like five thirty in the morning when this
has happened. Yeah, I used to.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Be quite the Kelly Kelly Clarkson, quite the Shania Twain fan.
But I'm going to read you a little bit about this,
so surprising new details are coming to light. In obituary
for the late talent manager revealed that Blackstock was quote
building a life with Clarkson's former assistant, Britney Marie Jones.
I don't even like her name. No, they are building

(06:05):
a life, building companies and working tirelessly to create I
don't even want to say the name of his company
because fuck this guy. Uh oh well he died. But anyway,
so her name was not even mentioned. And it was
a lengthy oh bit. It wasn't like it was, you know,
two paragraphs long. It was long, and basically they went

(06:29):
on and on about how he was a devoted father
and a dreamer and all the things. And they didn't
mention that he's been with her assistant. What a shitty
thing to find out that your husband was having an
affair with your assistant.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I think she, like I said, I think she's known
for some time. So this isn't like this is news plus.
But yeah, now's gross gross gross, gross gross gross. And
you know that he lied to the assistant, like said,
Kelly was crazy. He said all the things, all the
things that people said, all the bullshit. I guess, Okay,
what's your other story that must be told?

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Okay, hold on a second. So I got alerted to
this one of our.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
One of our people, one of our fans told me
about this. So I don't even really know who this guy. Okay,
I'm gonna tell you about a guy, but I do
want to say that my neighbor shout out to my neighbor, Mitch,
who does not listen to this podcast, but my name,
my neighbor Mitch is like kind of obsessed with a
singer okay, and has like merch has given. He gave Sander,

(07:37):
I will and I will in a moment. He's given
my son merch from this guy. I'm not even gonna say,
like like this is such a huge He's traveled, he
tells me, is the best concert. He's been to see
HM multiple times in concert. So when our friend Laura
Nicole sent me a little message this morning, I was like,

(07:59):
who what is that? And then I was like, oh,
that's Mitch's favorite singer ever. Okay, hey, okay. Singer Victoria
Canal accuses powerful, decades older man of sexual abuse and
grooming in lengthy Instagram post and this person's name okay.
Spanish American singer Victoria Canal has accused a very powerful

(08:22):
man in the music industry of sexually abusing and grooming
her eight years ago. This is something I've never spoken
about publicly and have been holding for eight years now.
It has plagued my body, spirit, and mind in my
entire twenties. Basically, she says, it was earlier this year
when I was assaulted by a stranger in a rehearsal

(08:43):
space that something in my subconscious woke up and helped
me understand. Basically, it turns out it's the singer have
you ever heard of Michael Frontie. No, he's a kind
of a big name apparently, and especially in this sort
of like sp spiritual rock and roll, and he and
he had this there's this big concert, so my neighbor

(09:05):
would always go see him at Red Rocks and uh yeah,
and there all of the singers from his tour quit,
they all sit, they all canceled, they all pulled out.
And it turns out that this guy, who's his whole
thing is like stay human, hashtags stay human. So my
own child has a hashtag stay human sweatshirt of his

(09:29):
I am telling you this was I I had to
immediately text my text my neighbor this morning. I was like,
your boy, Michael Frantie and he was like, I know,
my sister in law told me this morning. Yes, so
this guy was basically grooming cheat this girl. This woman

(09:50):
was only nineteen and he was. This guy's in his fifties, So.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Don't say he was a teenager.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, I mean, you know, like Dane Cook, she was
I believe eighteen and he was in his late forties,
early fifties. And like I said that, she had just
gone to prom, and then there's a picture of them
frolicking on the beach, like you know, this is just
this is the fight that we're going to keep fighting.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah, it's pretty crazy though. Like for those of you
who are Michael Franti fans, hold on. I'm going to
say I don't know his songs, but like he's one
of those people that has a huge following that I
guess we don't know about.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
And if you could see him, I look him up.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
He's like, well, and then he put out a statement
about how so his his about how to his wife,
you know, about how he cheated on his wife, and
he's so sorry I broke her heart, you know, but
he vehemently denies sexual abuse. All these artists pulled out

(10:56):
of his tour, though, which was called you Ready for
This The Soul Shine?

Speaker 1 (11:00):
No or No, I don't know that. I don't I'm
looking him up. I'm not even finding him.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Look up Michael Frantie f R A N T I.
And it is a lot of stories. Wow.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
But of course, of course some of the stories come
from from sites like jam bass.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Yeah. Well the New York Coast got it, so they
got it. Yeah, he's a jam band.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Ew Anyway, there are no We're eleven minutes in and
you've had two kind of non stories.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
But you're gonna say.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Let me let the queen. Let the queen come in. Listen,
don't worry. Stephane's doing her best.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
She is.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
He brought us great stories. You have great stories. Now
this one I don't know. No, this one is just
funny to me. This isn't like, oh my god, huge
Hollywood stuff.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
We do have that.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
But let me just let me just soften us in
with Charlie Sheen, who I just find ever fascinating. I
am never not like just he is insane in his
insanity like kind of keeps the world together somehow, right
not to explain.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
That hashtags, Well, he's hashtags.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
The kind of one really. So he's getting a Netflix documentary.
It may be coming any day now. And I was
confused as to whether they're filming it now or whatever,
but who cares. And in the trailer it's him and
he goes nothing is off limits, of course not you're
Charlie fucking Sheen.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
But listen to this.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
So this like the site that was reporting it whatever
they said, it was some English English thing. They said, quote,
a host of talking heads have been tapped. Okay, so
here are the people that they're going to talk to.
Denise Richard's obviously his ex wife, Heidi Flices, no problem,
she's she did her time.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
John Cryer's in there. Don't forget that. What's her? Who
did you just say? Heidi flies? Yeah? Is so crazy
now too though? Oh remember she was a story about her.
She has a bunch of birds.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
She has all these birds that she collects, and she
has like a hundred birds in these cages and she
talks to them. Oh yeah, she's she's living a life.
She's just gonna be awesome on this. But wait, just wait,
just hold on, Sean Penn, Brooke Mueller, his other ex
or whatever. Maybe I don't know if they're still EI there,
Chris Tucker is and there for some reason, and dot
dot dot Charlie's drug dealer Marco. Now here's what I

(13:15):
said on the radio. I'm like, I like that it
doesn't say past drug dealer, just current drug dealer Marco.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
And like, are they gonna shadow out his face?

Speaker 1 (13:23):
First name basis too just Marco, oh for sure, but
that he's gonna be on the documentary?

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Are they gonna shade his face? I think it's a
bad idea for Marco.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
I'm not trying to like help him, but I'm also like,
don't want to see him get arrested on while recording
this documentary.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
But you don't want to see that? Well maybe I do.
But then I had a really positive thought, which is like,
what if this is the most adorable meet cue ever
between Marco and Heidi Flies And everyone's like, were did
you guys meet?

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Like, oh, I'm the Charlie Sheen documentary. We met on
the we were just tape. We're talking heads on this thing.
And then then then the documentary just turns into a
store about their love, their love, Heidi Flies.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
I can get you some ladies, I can get you
some cocaine. Perfect. So I just love that. I cannot
wait for that.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
We will, Can I just go ahead and say we'll
cover the Charlie Sheen documentary somewhere.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Oh hell yeah, Okay, thank you, because I want to.
I want to own.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
We'll cover the fuck out of that. We sure will.
Just like Marco, We'll cover the fuck out of Heidi Flies,
if you know what I mean. I don't know what
that meant exactly.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
But okay, here's another quiki before I get into my
main main story, which was my ex boyfriend Russell Crowe.
You guys, don't no more questions, no further questions. Okay, okay,
we all make out with movie stars.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
What do you want to know? Okay, I'll answer two questions.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
I love the fast two it was when you so
Cecily made out with him. And if you want to
know more, you can, uh, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Well, you can ask me. I mean, I'll I'm happy
to talk about it. I talk about it a lot.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
But I love the the fact that he was a
pretty big he was a movie star when.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
You made out a list hot movie star. It was
a lot of fun. It was in Mexico. We'll go
over at another time, but it's been on Patreo. It
was like our first Patreon. Remember, I was like then,
it was so stupid, like why would we hide that
one that? Oh, yeah, I should put that everywhere?

Speaker 3 (15:16):
What now?

Speaker 2 (15:17):
And who was his girlfriend at the time.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
He was single at the time. He was not married
at the time, but I think shortly after that he
was with someone named Danielle who he ended up getting
married to, but I don't think he was with her
at the time.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
We did not discuss that. I know he wasn't with
And then he did want me.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
To sign an NDA and I said no, And so
I didn't end up going back to the hotel with him.
But the main reason was because I had just gotten
super baked with him and I was very confused as
to what time was and where I was at all,
and it was like not a good idea.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
I'm so happy you did say that that wasn't really
the reason, but also you were, weren't you kind of
worried about like having.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Hat head I had I was wearing I talked about this.
That's right.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
I was wearing I had not showered, and I was
wearing a cowboy hat, and my hair was just like
really it's thin anyway, but it had been matted down
all day by water and sweat, and so there was
like patches of hair. I also suffered, especially then with alopecia,
and so there were patches of hair just gone, you know,
Like I took the hat off in the bathroom, was like,

(16:21):
oh shit, this days on. So I was very freaked
out about that. That was a That would be the
main reason.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
That's so real though, it's so real. And the second
reason is I was high.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
And the third reason was like I didn't really know
what was going to I didn't totally trust Russell Crow
to be like the greatest guy, which is so funny
because it never stops me any other time.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
You know, it seems like why not him, But when you're.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
In Mexicoko, you know, just with friends, it just doesn't
seem even though he's a big star, anything could happen.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
He was a delight though I know that sounds especially
with what I'm about to say.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
He was delightful.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
He was very kind, He was really nice, He asked
me a lot of questions about my life. He was
really interested. He laughed at my jokes. He was also
very funny. His favorite he's like, my favorite comic is
Sarah Silverman, and you kind of look like her. And
he's like, you're really funny too. He was so supportive.
He was like cooler than you would think. So we
had a great time.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
His favorite comedian was Sarah Silverman. Me too, for so
many reasons. Yes, And I was like, oh my god,
he gets it.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
He was so fun to hang out with, and he
was never a pushy at all, and it was totally fine.
So but he was in an interview recently or a
podcast or something, and somebody asked him about that time
that he threw that phone at a hotel employee.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
He got arrested for that. Oh and here was his answer.
This is before. That was before, I think.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
But he said, quote, look man, this is his quote
at sixty one.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
I can forgive my bad days now. I thought about that.
That's nice and all.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
I think a public apology would have probably been nicer
to the guy he threw a phone at his head.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
But it's our Russell Crow. After a little.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
Sweetie, you know I can give myself grace for like
a lot of the stuff I did.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
I mean, nobody else has given me grace.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
But that's the beautiful thing about life, is I just
I let myself off the hook. You know, I don't
need anybody else to let me off the hook.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Right, I mean, And Russell is not going to be
and he probably I'm sure there was a settlement.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
He probably gave that guy so much money that he's like,
I'm done with the apology of being mad. And also,
to be fair, as someone who also gets agitated very easily,
I would never physically ever throw something at somebody, but
I get agitated. So the hotel clerk could have been
an idiot and really annoying him. So Russell has some
anger issues. Should he got or right he took, They

(18:38):
took care of it, and I'm I'm sure there was
a lawsuit.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I'm sure he had to pay up for that. So
he's like, I'm not gonna apologize anymore.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Yeah, but I think he would bring it up again
if he hadn't gotten he didn't bring it up someone
asked him about it, but yeah, he's like, I don't
know what to tell you, man, I'm sixty one.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
I gotta move on, and all y'all do too, including
the cops.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Yes, okay, so let's do a little Taylor. Let's end
on a little Taylor Swift. Unless we need more, we'll
see where we are.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
A lot of backstory here.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
You know last week obviously you know who Taylor Swift is. Right,
she's like mid thirties blonde singer.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
You heard of her? I don't like, can you name?
Is there a saw? I don't know? Look what you
made me do? Also, she works a lot with that
guy you were talking about. I'm just kidding. She's just
Michael Fantie. Yeah, yeah, Michael Prontie. Yeah she's she She
opens for him on the road. Oh okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
I think I've heard the name. Okay.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
So she announced last week her next album, of course,
The Life of a show Girl. I don't love the
title personally, as it's swifty, but I whatever she thinks is,
I'll go with it.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
I'm gonna trust.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
I'm gonna trust she has a better opinion on how
to do all this than I do, and that's what
she's doing.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
So I think it's gonna be great. You know, this
is all old news.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
But she went on her man Travis Kelce his podcast
with his brother.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
She announced the news.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
And they literally quote broke the internet, you know, like
literally like Bitley in the trillions gazillions of downloads.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
People like Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
But there's a little bit of a catch because apparently,
and I think a lot of this is pr but
I'm just gonna go with the story as though I don't. Okay,
Apparently she's having a little bit of beef with Lana
del Rey, who has beef with people sometimes. Okay, so
when that happens sometimes I look at the person, I go, oh,
it's either your PR or you just have problems. But
on the same day that Taylor dropped the cover art

(20:31):
for her new album, right she does it in pieces.
And by the way, as we speak, my god, what
time is it. I got to look this up.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
What time is it. It's happening right now. Oh my god,
hold on, let me google this. This is happening in
real time, you guys, because we're putting this up today.
Taylor has some big announcement. Hold on because if you
google Taylor Swift right now, lots of purple hearts will
burst onto your screen and there's a countdown clock that
will start. You'll get a little countdown clock. Oh wow,

(20:58):
And let me.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Just tell you what it is, because it was supposed
to drop at two pm.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Eastern time. So it's happening. It's all happening on what
is it? I can't find it.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
But something's happening right now as we speak. So I'm
gonna keep my eye on that. Okay, okay. In the meantime,
when she dropped this cover art before, Lana del Rey
posted on her Insta reel she wrote track thirteen, which
really doesn't mean anything. Swifty's pointed out that's Taylor's favorite number,
and I'm not just trying to be a twelve year old.
It's really a thing that she talks about a lot.
She likes that number. It's like her birthday or something. Okay,

(21:37):
it is her birthday, December thirteen. So she writes track
thirteen on that same day of Taylor's announcement and then
tags Jack Antonoff. Now it's important because Jack Antonoff is
the producer on most of her albums. He's, you know,
the one who used to date Lena Dunham. He produces
a bunch of everybody.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
All all the songs you love, he wrote them, probably
in produce or he at least produced them.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Okay, So he's not going to be on this next
which is totally fine. It doesn't mean they're fighting or anything.
It just means like she wants a different sound, Like
she just needs a different sound for this album. She's
trying something different. But usually it's weird, Like.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
When we watched the Billy Joel documentary, it wasn't as
simple as that. It was like a big, kind of
a big deal when he changed people.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
We sometimes they get mad, like I'll give you, I'll
give you the most personal example from my I literally,
I know we joke about John Bryan, but in that
very brief time that I was hanging out with him
my seven dates, which I'll never.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Let go of that either, because I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Everybody knows who John Bryan is. I mean everybody knows
Michael Franti is obvious.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
And Russell Crowe and he is a John Brand the
music producer musician guy, and he's very He does a
lot of music soundtracks and he produces like a lot
of really cool shit, like just kind of indie stuff.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
But also Fiona Apple like, he's just a he's like
a if you're if you're in that music indie world,
like he's he's people really love him.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
I love his music.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Amy Mayannie did that and just like he actually did
Kanye's gold Digger song.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
He did that song, just the song. He did a
lot of spoon stuff that I love. He's just a really.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Cool guy, right, so musically in every way actually so
he I remember at the time he'd been working very closely.
Like we'd go on a couple we went on some
dates and he'd be you'd be like, I'm running a
little late, Fiona, you know, and that would just be
it the coolest thing that I'm like, got it, don't worry, I'll.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Just get us a booth. I'll just wait for you.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
And he'd show up and he's like, no, it's all
going very well, you know. But she's just definitely a perfectionist,
which she would admit. Well, turns out she did this
whole album with him and she didn't like it, so
she fired him and got somebody else. And there's two
versions of that all they both got leaked. I don't
remember the For some reason, the name of that album.
But was that both X like recently no, no, god,
whenever we were hanging out, so probably like twenty years ago.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Oh, because I was going to say, there's that album
that came out that you and I talked about on
board AF and that you liked, and I listened to
it and was like, this is oh I hate that.
I know.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
No, you liked it and I hated it, right, No, yes, no,
I loved it.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
You loved it at first, and then I was like
what then I went back slinging dishes together. Then you
went back and you were like, oh my god, you
were so late.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
A couple years later I went back and I gave
you a formal apology. You're right.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
I was like, I think I got like good Winged
or whatever by COVID and by a Rolling Stone saying
it was the best so music that's ever happened.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
So I guess my point was it would have been
interesting if it was like that album.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
It was not that it was a good album, it
was it was a really good when I think it
was her third album, and they ended up John's version
got leaked and the other version went out and they
were both really good. I preferred John's version. I don't
remember exactly why.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
I think it had a little more oomph to it,
and I think she wanted it a little more stripped down.
But I really actually don't remember which was which point
being is that happens and it didn't cause a problem
between them. It's just sort of like artists sometimes changing
their mind or okay, So in this case, that's what
I think happened with Taylor. She's worked a lot with
Jack and she wants to have her own, you know,

(25:06):
vibe or change it up. Totally normal. But also don't
forget that she used one of Okay, so in Lena Dunham,
who is Jack Antonoff's very long term ex girlfriend, in
her new show Too Much, she uses a Taylor song.
So Taylor gave permission to use it in that, and
so then people are like, hmm, is there a problem

(25:28):
because if she's like, she's still friends with Lena, which
I think is great and she could put a good
song in there, but why is Lana Delray popping herself
in here and going hmmm, tagging Jack Antonoff?

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Yeah, why, I don't know. I don't know, but I
thought it was very And does Lena Dunham not get
along with Taylor Swift. No, Lena Dunham does get along
with Taylor Swift, but Lina Dunham.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Probably I'm not Lena Dunham. I meant Lna Delray. I
think that they've worked together. I think they're fine. But
Lena and Jeff may be fine now. But the whole show,
if you haven't watched too much, is about her getting
over Jack Antonoff, she doesn't play herself, and then finding
a new love in London where she ends up marrying

(26:13):
that guy. And that's all a true story and that
is what that shows about. So that's a lot of
layers there.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
That's a story in that Lena Dunham is married.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Now.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yes, she married a guy she met in London in
a short period of time when she was like really
heartbroken about Jack Antonoff, who then ended up marrying Margaret Qually.
And that's all addressed. It's all very much addressed. I mean,
the greatest thing that a writer you know can have,
like you get she gets to write the story. Jack
is not good in the story at all. Lena also

(26:45):
completely makes fun of herself and her issues and all
that stuff. But like Jack just seems like a total
dick in her version of her.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Story, and it's her story.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
If Jack wants to write a song, you know, for
somebody and kind of like say something about the relationship
with Lena, he has every right to do.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
That's what art is. I mean, that's what it is.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
So so has Jack written some songs that address that
that Taylor sings?

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Okay? No, no, but Taylor was used.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Lena used one of Taylor's songs in this show that
is completely throwing Jack antonof under the bus.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
So I wonder was there a fight there? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Or that seems interesting? But I feel like, why would
Taylor if she's on really good terms with Jack, why
would she allow that?

Speaker 2 (27:35):
I don't know, No, not allow it. She let her
do it. It wasn't like I mean she I'm sure
they paid for it. Why would she let her do it?

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Why would she if he if she's close with Jack
and they're like, you know, they were really close, work
together people, why would she give her song to something
that like totally throws him under the bus.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
Maybe she didn't know, she didn't know the whole context
of what the show was going to be. Maybe she
had become pretty good friends with Lena as well, I'm
sure she had during when they were to get they
were together a very long time, so maybe it's just
a little bit like I don't want to get stuck
in the middle, but this song's amazing, and maybe she
is okay with Jack now. And I'm sure she gave
my heads up, Like listen, I had to work through

(28:17):
some stuff. And you'll see because at the end, everybody's fine,
sort of, well kind of you got a lot. Yeah, okay,
so good, It's really good. It's it's a lot to
take if you're not a fan of Lena. I I
can understand what I mean. I personally loved her and
girls and all that stuff, but this is this is

(28:38):
a it's a lot.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
But that's why it's called too much. It's excellent. I
loved it. I watched it in like one weekend. Well,
I have a little extra story for you if you want.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Okay, it's kind of small, but have you heard about
remember who Courtney's Statton is? Of course, yeah, so Courtney
Stadden got real mad at Chrissy Teagan and I think
rightfully so. But okay, so Courtney Stadden was this reality

(29:12):
person who was dating this guy who was like one
hundred years older than her?

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Is that fair to say one hundred years fifty years
younger than her?

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Like, we're gross, a gross old guy and defended it.
It was, you know, a reality show. And didn't she
have like she gets married and I don't really remember,
but then she kind of went a little bit kind
of crazy. But Chrissy Teagan, we know, was pretty awful

(29:42):
and yeah, social posted like basically told her to kill herself, sorry,
un alive herself. We can say we told her to
take a dirt nap is what she said. And Chrissy
Teagan got a lot of backlash for it. Then Chrissy
Teagan got sober and and then she apologized. And you know,

(30:02):
I don't know as far as I know, Chrissy Taguan.
There's no heroes in this story, is what I'm trying
to say. But Courtney, so basically, here's the story, it says.
Last week, the Internet was up in arms with the
debut of the trailer for season two of Megan Markles
Netflix show. This is why I say there's no heroes

(30:24):
with love Megan, she has her show?

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yeah? Why because one episode features John Legend's wife.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Why is that so bad? I'm reading from Perez Hilton.
By the way, well, because of her history of bullying,
particularly for bullying Courtney to the point that she suffered
severe mental health challenges. I'm going to just push back
a little bit and say she was already suffering mental
health challenges. This wasn't caused by Chrissy, but whatever agreed

(30:54):
for sure. Yeah, so fans were befuddled that someone's so
anti bullying, like the Duchess of Sussex, would include someone
like Christy on her show. And by the way, are
we going to come for everybody who has Chrissy Tagan
on their show, because she's been on a lot of shit,
you know. And it led to a wave of criticism
on social media. But instead of rejoicing in it, Courtney,

(31:15):
who uses she they pronounce, took the high because remember
when Courtney was saying they were well maybe they.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Were completely saying non binary or I don't remember, they
were going through some an identity crisis. Let's just say so,
Courtney took the.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
High road and actually reached out to their enemy to
offer some support. Over the weekend, she took to Instagram
to address the controversy. I have been getting a lot
of people asking me how I feel about Megan Markle
having Chrissy Teagan on With Love Megan. First of all,
I would just want to interject, I know you haven't.
You have not been, you have not been getting a

(31:56):
lot of people going gosh, Courtney way in on Megan
Markle having Chrissy Tagan on her show.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
That's just ridiculous. Didn't happen.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
No, it's a cooking show, by the way. And my
response to it is that I do not.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Believe people should be bully and Chrissy. Have we learned anything?
Two wrongs?

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Do not make her right? Okay, do not make her right?
Do not make a right she should have said anyway.
Then it says that the internet personality decided to take
things a step further after.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Seeing that Chrissy viewed a previous story post of Theirs.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Okay, so basically, Chrissy, she did a story right about
this Courtney did, and Chrissy Tagan viewed it, so you know,
you can see like who views your stories? So then
this is Courtney talking. I posted about this and I
saw Chrissy Tagan was on my Instagram watching my story.
So I decided to reach out to Chrissy on DM

(32:55):
and tell her I'm here if she ever wants to talk.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
And I do not believe people should be bullying her,
and she shouldn't be listening to anyone who's bullying her.
But guess what, it's been radio silent on Chrissy's end.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Then, so Courtney added, she has completely ignored me.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Yeah, she's insane. It's all relevant. It all comes back
to just relish. She wants so badly to be relevant
and for.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
What Yes, So, then she adds, she captured the post quote.
Once upon a time, I was the punchline. People told
me to end my life. I was called names, mocked, bullied,
not just by strangers but by people with platforms. And
yet so she's basically punishing this is the recent thing.
So she's basically still punishing Chrissy Teagan even though she's like,

(33:50):
I'm You're fine girl, okay, right, and yet I'm still here, alive, thriving,
laughing love. Here's my message. Never let someone else's cruelty
to find you. Where are your scars like a crown?
Your pain can be your superpower. Hashtag still here, hashtag
survivor energy, hashtag pain into.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Power, survivor energy. First of all, that's so written by
chat GPT. I don't and anything that's so, I can
see it now. I see exactly when that when that's written.
She didn't write that. I just don't believe anybody wrote
anything anymore. And she did not write that. Where where
is She didn't write like that before.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Yeah, let your pain be your power hashtag survivor energy girlies.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
We need to Yeah, all right, you go there, you
go there? Do you go there? You go there? It
is all right. We will cancel. We'll see you soon.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
We'll see you tomorrow for a Bachelor in Paradise.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yes, yes, yes, and yes. And I have a little announcement.
Make sure to tune in tomorrow. I have a very cute,
little basic announcement in the Bachelor world. Oh you'll see,
you'll find out. I'm not even gonna tell Stephanie. Okay, okay, bye,
