Phishing is the fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by disguising itself as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. Vishing or Voice phishing is a form of criminal phone fraud, using social engineering over the telephone system to gain access to private personal and financial information for the purpose of financial reward. From Wikipedia.org
Smishing or SMS phishing is a form of criminal activity using social engineering techniques. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
