In this episode, Chris Cooper shares a preview of his upcoming training session for gym owners: “How to Add $10K in PT Without Adding a Single Member.”

During the live, interactive webinar, you’ll learn how to sell PT confidently, prescribe it in Goal Review Sessions and No Sweat Intros, and set simple targets to quickly grow your revenue.

Coop will also show you how to overcome common mindset barriers. For example, many of your members actually need one-on-one coaching to get better, faster results, and other members don't need PT but want it because they prefer convenience, attention and privacy.

You don’t have to chase new members to boost your gym's revenue. Find out exactly how to add $10K with personal training on July 8 at noon Eastern in Gym Owners United: http://gymownersunited.com

SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hey, I'm Chris Cooper.
And on July 8th at noon Eastern,I'm going to teach you how to
add$10,000 in revenue to yourgym, selling personal training.
I've got this brand new guidethat we've just put together.
It's really amazing.
I'm going to walk you through itreally quickly.
But if you go togymownersunited.com, you can
join the group now.

(00:21):
You'll see the promotionalposts.
You'll know when to be there,July the 8th at 12 Eastern.
Now let's just quickly walkthrough this guide.
And we're going to go throughthis step-by-step in this live
training on July the 8thtogether.
So here's the guide that we'relooking for, and you'll see it
in the group a day or two earlyso that you can flip through it
and kind of get a preview, butdon't worry, we're going to be
doing the work here together.
So first is why you want to addpersonal training.

(00:42):
You know, a lot of people, evenback to 2016, used to ask me
like, why would I do this?
I mean, I have this grouptraining gym and why would I
switch to offering one-on-onetraining?
The answer is that this is whatsome people want.
You're just doing the best thingfor some clients.
There's also some mathematicalreasons to do it, but the bottom
line is that We want to help ourclients best.

(01:04):
And not everybody wants to dogroup training.
Not everybody wants to dosemi-private, big group, small
group.
Not everybody just needs accessto your gym.
They need coaching.
And some of that coaching isbest done on a schedule that
suits them.
Some is best done as an on-ramp.
Some is best done as a recaptureof clients.
Some is best done just privatelyfor their own reasons.

(01:25):
And so about 10% of your clientsgenerally want personal
training, and that can add up to30% revenue to your gym up to 10
grand a month.
I'm going to walk through how wedo this in Two Brain.
We're going to start with somedata.
We're going to do a littleexercise.
If you're scared of math, don'tworry.
We're going to walk through thistogether.
You just got to fill in theseblanks with me.
I'll answer questions live onthis live training.

(01:46):
And from there, we're going tobe going into the big barriers.
You know, here's what's stoppingyou from actually selling it.
Some gyms, they come in andthey're like, ah, I can never
sell this in my gym.
Here's what's actually stoppingyou.
And I will share this stuff withyou when we do our live
training, July the 8th too.
Next, we're going to be gettinginto how to actually do it.

(02:08):
You know, how to do a goalreview session, exactly what to
say, how often you should bedoing this, what you can expect
clients to answer with.
Then we're going to be walkingthrough Here's the steps when
you're in a goal review sessionor when you're in a no sweat
intro of what to say and what todo and how to prescribe it.
Look, the reality is that whenpeople buy personal training,

(02:29):
most of the time, what they'reactually buying is speed.
They want to get to their goalsfaster.
And when you sell a grouptraining program, you're
building general fitness.
It's inclusive, right?
It's broad, general, all thatstuff.
But if they really want to getto their goals faster, the
one-on-one path is the fastestone out there.

(02:49):
Look, personal training saved mygym.
When I had two, my CrossFit gymwas kept alive on life support
by my personal training gym.
Eventually, I learned how toblend them together, build one
great gym that created greatcareers for coaches and got
clients the attention that theywanted when they wanted it.
July the 8th, noon, Eastern,gymownersunited.com.
We're going to walk throughthis.

(03:10):
I'm going to give you thisguide.
We're going to work through theworksheet together, and we're
going to get this attitude yourgym and help you make another
$10,000.
