Der Auftakt der Trailsaison fand wie immer auf der kanarischen Insel Gran Canaria statt. Einmal von Nord nach Süd, über Gipfel und Täler – das ist der Transgrancanaria. Mit 126 km und 6.800 hm ist der "Classic" der längste Lauf und führt von Las Palmas nach Maspalomas. Für Susi war es die dritte Teilnahme am Event – und zum zweiten Mal ist sie über die lange Distanz an den Start gegangen. In dieser Folge erzählt sie, warum der Lauf ein mentales Monster war, warum die Hitze ihr fast wieder den Zieleinlauf gekostet hätte und ihr erfahrt, ob sie in diesem Jahr das gefürchtete Flussbett besiegen konnte.
