As serious as heart attacks and strokes, VTE is the most common cause of preventable death in hospitalized patients. Interventional Radiologist Scott Perrin, MD, discusses the dangers of the disease and what can be done to treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
