We open loose and light—think random earworms and inside jokes—then tee up next week’s format: a full-on Work AMA. We’ve got a stack of questions coming in, so send yours and we’ll fold them in.

Life update: a teen flipped a truck, wiped out our mailbox, and mangled a few fence posts outside the house in the middle of the night. Everyone was okay, we stayed calm, patched the fence, hammered the mailbox back into shape, and even got a chuckle out of the “just junk mail today” timing. Perspective > panic.

Show news: Natural State Savage is getting real—venue walk-throughs, lights, audio, trophies, the works. Parking could be wild with a Notre Dame home game in town, so plan to walk a bit (follow the smell of meat on the grill). If you’re on the fence about competing: pull the trigger. First shows are about growth, not perfection, and our stage vibe is zero ego.

Cutting/Reverse update: Robert’s alternate-day fasting experiment is dialed. Feast days: ~5,500–6,000 kcals; “fat-fast” days: coffee with heavy cream to keep sanity without sliding backward. Scale target: ~174 lbs after fasting, ~179 lbs after feasting—steady, strong, and psychologically easier when you expect those fluctuations.

Client wins: Ralph hit his first strategic refeed (+1,000 mg sodium), woke up three pounds lighter and looking sharp. Momentum’s real.

Product pipeline: Cookie Dough (tallow) and Mocha Cream are back—new rendering technique brings a firmer set and (we think) a bump in stearic acid for a slightly different bite. Fresh from the fridge is elite.

Ops & brand: International shipping is still a slog—Norway customs drama, and a big India endurance project got hung up despite premium shipping. We’ll re-run the numbers on whether the juice is worth the squeeze. On a happier note, apparel’s moving: we found a Pima-cotton blank that fits and performs, and we’ll launch it right when it’s truly ready.

That’s the vibe this week: keep it calm under pressure, train hard, eat with intention, and build things the right way. Drop your questions—we’re stacking them for the AMA.

(00:00):
Cats in the cradle, in the sievespoon.
Little boy turning the man. That's not the little boy blue,
Little boy blue. No, I think it's little boy
turned into man. Nah, you're over the moon.
Someone listening Somebody Google it I.
Haven't heard that song in probably probably 10 years.
I know I just came into my head for randomly this morning.

(00:21):
Sad song. Man, sad song.
We have no rhyme or reason for today's conversation, but we
have a lot of random things to talk about.
And we did have somebody did they e-mail in, they said it'd
be cool if we did another like Q&A.
Or yeah, yeah, so they emailed and they've got a whole bunch of
questions. They sent us like 3 or 4 in the
e-mail, but we've also gotten a bunch of other questions like in
the comments section. So I've done solo AMA episodes

(00:46):
now. I enjoy doing those, but I feel
like the next time we do a work,we'll just compile all of those
questions and then do like a a work AMA style.
I just got that e-mail yesterday, so we didn't have
time to compile that before thisrecording, but if anybody has
any questions after this recording, let us know and we'll

(01:07):
feature those in next week's. If they're good.
If they're good, we. Were going to record yesterday,
today's Tuesday, we were going to record Monday, but you had a
little bit of a. Yeah, my Monday got totally
upside down. So we normally record these on
Monday after doing pics, posing, workout, all that jazz.
And Monday morning at midnight slash 1:00 in the morning, we're

(01:34):
laying in bed sleeping and Crystal shakes me awake and
she's like, get up. Something just happened.
I heard this loud screech. Diesel's going crazy, barking up
a storm. Something's wrong.
So I get up and I'm like, delirious looking through the
blinds, but there's too much backlight to see anything.
So I go into the guest bedroom, look through those blinds, and

(01:54):
I'm seeing all this commotion right there in front of our
house, in front of our yard. And I'm like, trying to make
sure if I should grab my gun andwalk out there or like what the
situation is. So I'm just trying to like, hear
what they're saying. And they start laughing.
So OK, probably not a threat. So I didn't grab the gun.
I just grabbed my knife. You know how to protect.

(02:14):
Some form. So I walk out there and as soon
as I walk out and turn the porchlights on, I hear them say oh
shit. And I walk up closer and
somebody had this kid had ran off the road, taken out my
mailbox, flipped. I went down into the ditch,
flipped the truck over completely, took out two of the

(02:38):
fence posts that are 6 by 6. You know, pressure.
Hefty post, yeah? Post.
Concreted in. Concreted in and dug, you know,
3 feet deep and concreted in. He took out two of those, broke
like 5 other ones loose, cut through the wire fence and
totally jacked up my fence. His truck was total, total,
total. But I mean it was inverted.

(03:00):
One of the wheels was off. It's pretty gnarly.
He was totally fine. That was the first thing I said
when I walked at them. Everybody OK?
And they all said yes, fine. So then I walk up trying to get,
you know, a feel for what's going on.
And he said that he wasn't. I mean, he wasn't drunk.
There wasn't any alcohol I couldsmell on him.
I asked him if he was texting and he said no.

(03:20):
So maybe he's being honest or not, who knows.
But yeah, totally went off the road, took out my mailbox truck.
The police came, the tow truck guy came, and they got it out of
there pretty quick, like within about an hour.
But that comprised my Monday mornings routine.
So yeah, so we got home and we got back to the meeting that

(03:42):
later that morning you and I worked out per usual, and then
we did the meeting and then I went to the house with Clancy
and we just patched up the fencethat Diesel wouldn't get out.
So yeah, yesterday get kind of rerouted for me.
And the kid was cool, like he was asking if he could help,
asking if he could give me moneyfor the mailbox and stuff like
that. So his dad was going to Lowe's

(04:02):
and wanted to know what stuff I needed.
I told him not to worry about it'cause I already had all the
supplies for patching it at the house.
And honestly I got that mailbox and I hit it with a rubber
mallet and straighten it out andit looks good as new so I'm not
even charging for anything. Probably needs to clean
underwear. He he might need new and I tried
to make light of the situation like they were all wondering how
I was going to respond. And I walk out there in the

(04:24):
mailbox, literally flew probablyabout 100 feet, landed in my
house or in my yard. And I picked it up, carried it
over there and and there was some junk mail in there from the
day prior. So I pulled it out.
I'm like, man, you're lucky kid.It was just junk mail today.
So try to like, you know, breathe some.
Airmail. Some, you know, just lightness
into the situation, but he was shaking up for sure.

(04:46):
Oh yeah, that's scary. He'll remember that.
Yeah, big time. I had a big wreck when I was a
kid. And me too.
You don't forget it. You.
Know I rolled my first vehicle my parents bought me a little
Bronco 2 you know those old little boxes on wheels rolled it
on a gravel Rd. Like half mile, I could see my
driveway half mile from home. That's Yep.

(05:08):
I did the same thing man. I went off a ditch in my old
truck and I was hauling a load of firewood to sell firewood and
my wheel came off abrupt stop. All my firewood came through the
black back window in my lap and Lucky 1 didn't hit me in the
head. No kidding.
Holy cow. But yeah, that shook me up.
Like the roads wet, my tires were bald, couldn't afford
tires, and I turned and the truck didn't, you know?

(05:30):
So just is what it is. But I remember in that
situation, it's like, man, if the people that are involved in
it with you are cool, it's way better.
So I just tried to be cool, tried to be cool.
Yeah, that's a stressful, scary situation.
Yeah, easily. But all is well.
The fence is patched. No complaints.
Back on track. He's safe, he's happy, healthy,

(05:53):
back on track. Today we got a whole bunch of
competition stuff. We get to take a bunch of
trophies to a local business andget name plates made.
We're going to go to the venue and we're going to meet with the
AV team to get all of our lighting and sound and audio
stuff straightened down, buttoned up.

(06:15):
Anybody listening to this has come to the show, whether you're
competitor or an attendee, Be forewarned.
It's going to be awesome, but it's going to be crazy from a
parking standpoint. More than likely because it's a
home game weekend for Notre Damefootball, which is apparently a
big rival. Big, big game.
And yeah, it's going to be crazyparking.
I mean, you may have to park away and then walk a little bit,

(06:36):
but if you come into a bodybuilding show, you shouldn't
be afraid to. Walk get your steps in anyway.
Get your. Steps in but.
There's going to be meat cookingout front so you can just follow
your nose. Follow your nose.
Yeah, we got to also ask him about that.
We got to make sure we got sidewalk blocked off so that my
dad can pull his truck and trailer in and I can park the
rig there. We got all of our cooking stuff
on hand. Yeah.

(06:56):
Like you said, we might have to run there Friday and put some
cones out or something. Whatever they'll let us do,
it's. Going to be good though like
we're it's getting close like month of.
I'm excited. Like it's the real deal now.
So I'm excited definitely come Natural State savages.com
compete, we got we're like. Available online.
Available. Online we're only like a few

(07:18):
competitors, shy from multiple classes and multiple divisions.
Being pro qualifying like one shy I think in like 3 different
divisions. So yeah, come on in, make it
happen. It's gonna be good.
It's gonna be worthwhile. And we've had a few people that
have reached out and they they were, they're kind of on the
fence. They're like, I'm not sure if
I'm going to be ready. They're not sure if they want to

(07:41):
compete in this one. They're not just, they're just
kind of, I don't know, they're reluctant.
But if it's your first show and everyone has the first show
before you can have a second show.
If it's your first show, just doit.
Just pull the trigger. I when I look back on my first
show I look like crap. Like compared comparatively.
Now looking forward to where I'mat now.

(08:01):
Are those photos that I have seen of you with like wearing
your glasses and the board shorts?
Was that your first show? No, that was not my very first
show. Do I have I ever even seen
pictures of you? 1st I don't think there are any
that exist. I don't.
Have any photos? That's the that's that's the
show. I binged my face off afterwards.
I don't. Have any photos?
Well, I'm sure I do. Or my mom.

(08:23):
Somebody I'm they're floating around somewhere, but they don't
even look like I worked out It's.
It's absolutely crazy. I remember, I mean when I did my
first show that's when I did everything wrong and like over
dieted, overdid cardio, overtrained, just everything
wrong. This was long before keto and
that's when I lost 80 lbs in 12 weeks.
Oh yeah, you crashed. At it and yeah, it was not good,

(08:44):
but I remember almost like the night of the night before the
competition at the hotel room, like looking in the mirror and
almost talking myself out of. It Oh yeah, same.
So like I at the time I had I, one of my female friends and
myself decided that we were bothgoing to do our very first show.
And that was the only reason either one of us even went

(09:04):
through with it is because we were both like, what are we
doing this? We're not ready.
We were getting so like scared and worked up and we were seeing
other other competitors and you know, like what people are
supposed to look like and how their conditioning and doing all
this different dietary stuff andlike this is not going to work.
And we were just like, you just do it.
Let's just do it. Yeah, I mean.
So if you have somebody, if you have like a partner or a friend

(09:28):
or a family member or anybody that you know that can help
motivate you and keep you on track, that's key big.
Time yeah, you just got pull trigger.
I mean, even when I do shows nowlike I'm not where I want to be.
I know that I'm the best that I can be in this phase of my life.
But it's like we all have this image in our head of what we
aspire to, and it should always be just out of reach, like it

(09:51):
should always be evolving. And you're never going to feel
quote, UN quote, ready. You can just feel as ready as
possible given the circumstances, and let the chips
fall where they may. Yep.
You know, So yeah, just pull through.
So do it. I'd say do it.
Looking back on it, I'm so glad I did.
Yeah. How old were you when you did
your first show? Was it until like 2013, 2012,

(10:13):
2013 sort of been 33? 33, No, I think I was 20.
Yeah, 20, maybe something like that.
I have a video. I have a video.
This was before I was vlogging, but I was recording stuff.
I have a video of me driving to campus because I was sophomore

(10:35):
in college when I did my first show.
I don't know how that would haveput me in 19.
Maybe I had stayed up all night, you know, doing cardio because I
was training super late. So I'd work out, do cardio, wake
up early, go to the gym, do it all over again.
And I have a video, I had an exam that morning and I didn't
get a study near enough for it because I was focused on the

(10:56):
competition. And I have a video of me driving
my old truck to campus and just being like at peace with the
situation because I was doing everything that I possibly
could. And I just, I wasn't able to
keep all the plates in the air. And I knew I was going to do
poorly on that exam, but I was just like recording that video
being like, look, you can only do so much.

(11:16):
This is your priority right now.You have to be at peace with
that. Recognize you can't do all
things and the exam is what it is.
And I'm bombed that test. But I remember looking at that
recording and just like being intotal peace because I couldn't
do any more than I was, you know?
Can only do so much. Can.
Only do so much. I wanna do so much.

(11:36):
What's up? What else is crazy?
My mom listens to these podcasts.
She's awesome. She bought me a bouquet of roses
the night of the competition andgave those to me at the hotel
room. And I've kept those roses my
whole like ever since then. I've got they're all like
crumbled up in a little baggie right now in the bathroom vanity

(11:58):
sink thing. And Rigel gets them out and
crushes them even more. But I've got the roses that she
gave me from that first. Competition, which is.
Kind of crazy to think about because that was monumental for
me and same for your show. Like when people do their first
show, if they did truly give it all they have, it's like how you

(12:21):
look doesn't really, I mean, it matters, but doesn't really
matter. Like what you had to do mentally
to get to that point and how that transforms you going
forward. That's the beauty of your
future. Yep.
And it changes you, man. Oh yeah.
In a big way. Yep.
And some of it, some of the intimidating part of it that I
found was being backstage with the competitors who were like,

(12:44):
so dialed in and they've obviously been doing it for
years and years and years. And you're, you just feel like
the little guy walking around all these other competitors that
are like, you know, pros and chiseled and everything.
But the attitudes backstage are just awesome.
Like they can't. Be camaraderie.
Bad too. I think, but we've talked about
this before and like in more of the natural federations.

(13:04):
The natural federations have always had a better vibe in my
opinion it. Seems it seems that way, yeah.
'Cause I feel like everybody just, they've gone through the
same stuff, they're all natural, they're all holding themselves
to that standard. And not to single out NPC
specifically, but I feel like with NPC everyone gets clicky,
you know? Like there's all these different
teams and gyms they've all got like their own.

(13:27):
They've got rivalries and. Stuff they've got rivalry and
it's like at that point it's often times a matter of who's
got the best drug stack that they've made effective.
So it's like, I don't know, there's just like this weird ego
often times backstage. But our show is not going to be
like that. Like our show's going to be. 0
Ego. 0 Ego we call the. Podcast 0.

(13:51):
Ego. 0 ego. I have figured out my strategy
in the finale for the alternate fasting experiment.
OK, do tell. Do tell.
OK, so my whole goal as of late has been to get down to like 175
because I'd gotten up to 200 post 2023 competition and that
was again, just too, too much weight for me.

(14:13):
I don't need to be 200. So I've been just trying to like
chip away but not do so in the context of like really
aggressively cutting calories orlike going through a prep
because I'm still in a building phase.
I just wanted to clean up my composition and I've had the
most luck with the alternate dayfasting.
I did that pretty much all throughout August except for the
last few days. In doing so, I went from, I

(14:33):
dropped quite a bit like I, I probably went from 195 to 18185
S about 15 lbs or so. And I would eat about 5500
calories the next day for 33 to 34 hours.
I would fast and I got down to I've seen it as low as 172.
So I think 2172 weigh insurance,a bunch of 170 fours, 170 sixes,

(14:57):
170 sevens, but pretty much right in that target range.
So now that I'm at the desired composition, what I'm going to
do is on my fasting days, I'm going to do it a fat fasting
day. So I'm still getting some
calories. So I have heavy cream in both of
my coffees which is about 400 calories to put two or put 60
grams in each one roughly. So I'm getting some fat which

(15:20):
makes the coffee taste way better.
And since I'm trying to more so maintain my weight then go
lower, there's no need to have 3334 hours strict fast.
So I'll have that going and thenas long as the day after a
feeding day I'm not going beyond180, then it's good and I can

(15:40):
kind of keep things in check. Like yesterday I was a feeding
day and had 27 wings and a bunchof other food like bricks and
stuff like that it. Sounds like you're bragging.
See you right now. Probably does.
Yeah, I. Haven't.
Had wings in a while, man. So I was just craving wings.
I was going to try and get a steak because last night was
like the first date Crystal and I've been on in eons, so I
wanted a nice steak, but they were closed for the holiday so

(16:03):
we wouldn't get wings instead. But I was like full, like almost
on the point of being uncomfortably full, which is
kind of where I like to be like I want to feel that when I'm
eating eating. So I had that, woke up this
morning at 179 four, I think 179six, something like that.
So lots of sodium, lots of food retention, but still under 180.

(16:24):
So as long as I'm maintaining that as like a litmus test, then
I'll keep doing what I'm doing and basically just try and stay
with between 174 on fasting days, 179 on feeding days, and
then focus on getting bigger andstrong, you know, sweet.
So that's the goal. I'm going to try that.
Yeah, I feel like from a psychological standpoint, it's

(16:46):
been super beneficial because it's kind of like an
extrapolated version of the OMADthat we do when we're deep in a
prep and calories are lower. Like it's more satiating to have
one big meal that actually fillsyou than multiple smaller meals
sprinkled throughout the day. For me, ad libitum, I would eat
4500 calories a day no problem and then I would just get fan if

(17:08):
I did that every day. But if I eat 5500 calories,
maybe even 6000 calories on a feeding day, and then I fast for
3334 hours, my net intake is pretty much right where I'm
targeting. So I can maintain the weight and
I can feel truly satiated, whichmakes actually going longer
without food more tolerable. And because like the the scale

(17:31):
weight's a funny thing, I think people should look at their
scale weight. I think it's a metric, it's data
you can use. And if it can be measured, it
can be managed as we say. But if you're eating every
single day, it's more frustrating to see the scale
increase if you're not wanting to or decrease if you're not
wanting it to. Whereas if you're eating every

(17:53):
other day, you can anticipate the scale being higher following
a feeding day so that when it ishigher, it's like, OK, yeah,
that was going to happen. And then you anticipate it being
lower on a fasting day. And when it is, it's like, OK, I
just confirmed. Well, I knew it was going to
happen. So there's no surprises.
Like it's always higher. It's always lower.

(18:14):
You know, it just is what it is.So psychologically, I feel like
it's been. Good.
Makes sense. I mean, it's all averaging out.
Yeah, I'm digging it. I'm digging it.
I don't know when would be the opportune time to incorporate it
for you reverse diet wise, probably after the first month,
I would say yeah. I was going to say that for a
while, not for several weeks. Yeah, 'cause we're going to bump

(18:36):
up your protein initially quite a bit, right?
When we go into the reverse diet, we'll keep the refeeds in.
You'll probably have refeeds forthe next four to six weeks
anyways. And then after that span, kind
of like my phase seven basically.
Yep. So we would bring in the
alternate day fasting starting phase seven for you and see how
that goes. I'm ready.
So. I'm.

(18:57):
Hungry this and then not this weekend, but next weekend is
Ralph's show and Joe's show, andI know a few other competitors
that'll be there, so that'll be pretty fun too.
Yeah, I'm stoked for them. I mean, Ralph's looking freaking
dangerous, dude. Like, he's 63 years old.
He's got forearm veins busting out of his shirt.
Yeah, his shoulders are popping.Yeah, he did his first refeed.

(19:20):
This is kind of cool. He did his first refeed last
Friday because he's in phase 4 right now and he's been kind of
plateaued AT166167 for a few weeks.
I'm like, look man, let's just get you through this refeed and
we'll see what happens. He messaged me the next morning
like, dude, you're some kind of wizard.
I ate more food, had 1000 milligrams additional sodium,
woke up at 160 three, 3 lbs lighter.

(19:42):
And I'm like, Yep, knew that wasgoing to happen and just
freaking jacked out of his mind, man.
So yeah. He looks good this on Monday
too. Yeah, I'm excited for him and
for him and Joe to both be doingthe same shows.
Awesome. I hate that I can't be there
'cause I'm going to be speaking at a conference in Tennessee,
but you'll be there. I'll be there so.
If they need any help, pointers, tan touch ups, you got them

(20:03):
covered. Got it.
And you get your posing trunks. Got them.
They fit. Your banana hammock is going to
work. Yeah.
So if you it's a. Little it's a little bit more of
an aggressive cut then I probably would.
It's like it like dips down at the top of the butt cheeks like
it's like a, I don't know, it looks like a, it's got like a
little roughly butt thing going. It's a velvet, yeah.

(20:25):
So if y'all want to know truly how deep Greg and my's bromance
goes, he is borrowing my posing trunks.
He's wearing my banana hammock. I'm not going to wash it when I
give it back either. Or you're not, I'll wash it and
I gave it to you wash to be fair.
But yeah, that's, that's next level friendship right there,

(20:46):
man. But Guy's trunks are pretty
simple, so I want Pro in those trunks.
Maybe it'll oh. Yeah, good luck.
Yeah, the lucky. Trunks.
Yes, all right, the lucky. Trunks, we got a bunch of
questions like Sam, we want to tackle those next week.
We've got some flavour stuff in the pipeline.
We do. I don't think we mentioned that

(21:07):
last week, did we? Yeah, let's not mention the
seasonal thing we'll do. We'll save people.
Can probably guess what. We're we'll save that for next
week's work podcast, but it's. Coming soon.
There is still sick, exciting stuff this week.
This will go live on Friday and this week by Friday we'll have
cookie dough tallow cookie doughback in stock and we'll have

(21:29):
mocha cream, which is our OG flavour, back in stock 'cause
we're making that this week. We're banging out the cookie
dough today, banging out Mocha Thursday, so those will both be
up for grams. And again, this cookie dough
tallow cookie dough, we're usingthat different rendering
technology on this batch, so more solid than the ones we've

(21:51):
made in the past. I believe more stearic acid and
just a slightly different taste and texture but.
I like it. Yeah.
Yeah, like that. The cake pop with the newer
tallow is much superior to the previous version in my opinion
for my taste buds. But fresh out of the
refrigerator, you just can't beat it.

(22:11):
Yeah, it's good. It's really good.
And we're getting another sampleof tallow in.
That's a different technology. So we'll see.
It's kind of weird saying technology and tallow in the
same sentence cause not really technology.
Maybe technique? Technique, yeah, there you go.
But this is a new sample, so we'll try that in some bricks
and see if we want to play around with that going forward.

(22:32):
So I'm curious to see what difference in taste and texture
that provides. But it's still all super high
quality grass fed grass finished.
We're not deviating from that. At all that's standard tell you
the frustration with the business international shipping
that kind of boggles you're. Talking about the order that we
were just sending out. Yeah, that plus that order to

(22:56):
Norway, you know, threatened to get returned, destroyed,
whatever, because Norway's trying to play hardball with
domestic shipments from the US But man, international shipping
is crazy. I got to crunch the numbers and
see how many international customers we have to see if the
juice is even worth the squeeze.Because like with with Jack's
scenario, he's freaking running the length of India.

(23:20):
Over 80. Days over 80 days and he reached
out to us and asked if we can hook him up with some bricks for
his endeavour. And we're like, this is awesome
story man. We'll, we'll happily provide the
bricks. We'll get you on the podcast.
We'll promote it, whatever we can do to help.
And because, I mean, if you're, you know, running 80 miles or
not 80 miles, 80 days across a country, then you need to be

(23:42):
well fueled with something that's politically dense and not
very. Lightweight, Compact.
Heavy, yeah. So like bricks are perfect.
So we shipped those bricks to him like month and a half out.
We shipped him 80 bricks, so he 'cause he was going to use
leverage 1:00 every single day. Yeah.
And yeah, we sent him over a month ago over.
A month ago with five day expedited shipping, so my

(24:06):
shipping cost I think was like north of $800 just for shipping,
not even counting the cost of the product.
And then a month and a half later, right before he's about
to depart, apparently they're stuck in customs and we've been
back and forth emails, phones with customs and it's like
they're just not not getting it done.

(24:27):
It's. Ridiculous.
Poor Ellen. She's the one that deals with
the most of it and she's been a trooper.
But. So yeah, it's, it's weird, man.
It's weird that like you, it's, it's, it's never easy in
business, especially from a transportation standpoint and a
shipping standpoint, because like they don't make it easy for
you. Like they're trying to do

(24:48):
everything they can to, which isweird.
It's like, you would think that they'd be incentivized the exact
opposite. Like let's bring as much
business in. You'd think.
Like I don't know why this is such a headache, but yeah, I'm
frustrated with shipping for sure.
For sure. What is new and excitement
again? Anything else in the pipeline?
Apparel is still in the works, so got some things going with

(25:10):
that that's coming soon that you're wearing one of those new
blanks. I'm wearing one of these new
blanks with the apparel, and this is my favorite shirt, hands
down. This is the same shirt that I
walked the 50 miles in. So from an athletic standpoint,
it wasn't weighing me down, It wasn't holding all the sweat.
It's lightweight. It's 100% natural fibres, Supema
cotton and it's super comfortable and it fits really

(25:34):
good like it fits my arms and chest just like I like it's
perfect length yeah it's my favorite shirt sweet.
So I'm excited to start using this as our primary blank.
That's. Good, because if you can't find
a good blank, it's hard to throwsome design work and stuff on
it. Yeah, we got some pretty slick
designs in the works too. So the apparel is going to be
popping when we launch it. But when we launch it, we're
going to launch it, right. So we're not going to launch it

(25:54):
prematurely. It's going to be off the chain,
as the kids say these days. Do they still say that?
I don't know. That might.
Be somebody, said Bryce. I think it was Bryce slaps.
That thing slaps. What does that mean?
It's just a compliment, you knowthat.
Slaps. Is that something they say or?
No, I think so. A.
Podcast on a slang. I don't really say much slang, I

(26:19):
say. You say oil instead of like get
an oil change. Oh yeah, what is an oil?
Oil. There's an eye in there.
Yeah, but it's oil. Oil.
It changed my oil. Oil.
Yeah, changed my oil. And put some avocado oil on your
salad there. Oil.
Oil. That was Rigel.

(26:40):
I don't know. We're talking that told Rigel.
I gotta go change the oil on thetruck.
He's like, I'm going to go help you change the oil.
You said oil? Yeah.
He did. And I'm like, we got to work on
this, son. No, it's called oil.
Say oil. It's not Ole, it's OIL.
So I get that Southern twang imparted on him.
Took him fishing the other day. Yeah, he caught a big.
One talk about that on the podcast.
Yeah. Took him fishing.

(27:01):
It was, it was pretty cool, man.We woke up early.
He normally wakes up around 7:00.
I woke him up at like 550, stilldark outside.
And we had everything loaded up the night before him.
Got him all dressed up, put him in the truck, got there to the
lake right as the sun was comingup.
So perfect timing. Got the the boat unloaded and

(27:21):
the lakes are water source for city of Lincoln.
So you can't have a motorized, you know, boat.
It has to be like a trolling motor or paddles.
I don't have a trolling motor soI'm paddling everything.
So I got to work that in. Yeah, no kidding.
He he enjoyed it, Man. We're like putting a worm out
there for him. I'm cast in.
We didn't catch a single thing. And he's the noisiest fisherman.

(27:43):
Like he's just banging things onthe boat and I'm like, man, he's
scared all the fish away. These other fishermen are going
to be digging this. And then I put one of my lures
on his line once he got tired oflooking at the bomb room and he
starts sword fighting with it and it's sinks it right in my
cheek. So I got a big old treble hook

(28:04):
stuck in my cheek. What did he say?
He was like scared. He was like, he knew that he
shouldn't have done that. And he thought I was about to
get in trouble. I thought I'm just to not move
out. I grabbed the fishing pole so.
He couldn't think it. Yeah.
Yank it out, yank it out. So I grabbed that and then I got
it out of me. But it was cool, man.
It was. It was cool seeing him get all
excited even though I didn't catch anything.
Just like doing stuff like that. That's going to happen more and

(28:26):
more as he gets older, like taking him hunting, taking him
camping. So I'm excited for those
memories for sure. That would be good.
Those would be good memories forhis memory bank.
Yep. And mine, man, because like,
like I said, we went on a date Crystal the other day for the
first time in forever and she's like Rachel's 3 1/2 already.
You know, like kids typically goto school at like 5 or 6.

(28:48):
We're going to home school initially, but he's already 3
1/2 and you know, he might only be in the house for another, you
know, what is it like 13 years or so?
And I'm like, damn, that's crazy, man.
That's nuts. That's going to fly by in a
blink of an eye, so. That's like only 13 more
summers, 13 more Christmases, there's, you know, birthday, all

(29:09):
that kind of stuff. Yeah.
So it's, it's crazy, but I definitely do feel like one of
the things that I want to investin when I can is all these
conferences and competitions I travel to which I get a travel
trailer and take them with me everywhere I go.
Like any of these conferences I'm speaking at, rather than
flying there, being away from them, I'll just load them all up

(29:30):
and I have a little office room in there and then we can just
all go as a family and make memories with everything that we
do that. 'D be awesome road trip with a
little home base. Yeah.
And the hardest part with that for me is going to be stepping
away from here physically while I do those trips.
Cause like the trips are going to take longer, obviously if
we're driving. And I like the work I do here.

(29:51):
And I feel bad if I'm not working and the crew is and I'm
technically working. It's just not here on site and I
need to get over that. Like I feel, I don't even know
what the word is, but I feel guilty I guess if I'm not the
first one here, the last one locking up all that stuff.
And I know that in order for me to take it to the next level,

(30:13):
I've got to get away from the day-to-day operations and focus
more so on the strategy and the creativity side of things.
But I just, I like working with the crew because we got a great
crew, you know, I want them to see me working beside them.
That's true, we do have a good crew.
The Vibe crew is hard to replicate.
The vibe is hard to replicate. Faux show.
All right, man, Speaking of the crew, I'm gonna go check on them

(30:36):
real quick before we go to thesetrophies and get those dialed
in. Sounds good.
So let's go check on them, load up some trophies and get some
stuff done. Send us your questions.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
