Inspired by years of career conversations and the recent controversy re: reality tv star Evelyn Lozada, singer Amara La Negra & statements by rapper Fat Joe, Saycon finally enters the realm of colorism and culture among those of African descent in the Latinx community, and beyond. . A popular subject of course, but always with a theatrical 🗣 spin my way ;-) starting with my own experiences playing Latinx characters.
