It’s the 11th Episode! Copywriters spent the last twelve weeks compiling a beautiful concise and less wordy introduction for this dispatch but due to financial difficulties we were unable to buy it. This week on our Seaside Radio dispatch we start with the CCTV audio recording of a Court Appointed Social Media Class. The one infamously known for leaking the footage of the Prime Minister assaulting a kitten. We managed to get Legendary DJ Ronnie Keith to sell us some of his audible off cuts and then it’s Seasides Radio contribution to “The Who Are They Now?” week by playing alot of stuff featuring Sydney Gold, from Sydney Gold and The Convicts. Fun Fact: Sydneys album, “Let There Be Gold” has been the only album repeatedly dropped from the Big Family Budgets $1 dollar chuck out bin. Thanks to the ‘Musicians Working for Food’ bartering system at Seaside we have the popular recording of ‘Goils’ by the band Stoutfinger. They lovingly traded the rights to this song for a plate of Sultana biscuits and 10 litres of Mango Mullet Chowder Finishing up our dispatch is the next episode in the popular Comedy, Mystery Adventure Drama Sue and The Seacow. This week the lives of a Captain and his Mate are held in the balance by Ronnie Keith and his Vinyl Copy of Myra Palms Confused? Don’t be …It all makes sense when you listen to Episode 11!!!

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
