Presentamos tres insectos sorprendentes. Al primero de ellos se conoce con el popular nombre de “duende” (Nemoptera bipennis) debido a la extraña forma de sus alas traseras, semejantes a plumas. El segundo (Coremia plumipes) sorprende por exagerada longitud de sus patas posteriores adornadas con penachos de pelillos que le proporcionan un aspecto semejante a grandes plumeros. El último es un sorprendente cerambícido que cubre su cuerpo con un vellosidad marrón que recuerda a la piel de un ciervo, de ahí su nombre: Sorelia cervina.
