My guest today is Tim King. Tim is a certifiable workshop junkie, and someone who strives not in 'self improvement', but in being the best version of himself in the present moment.
His 21-year journey in this endeavor has led him to an eight year stint at the Berkeley Psychic Institute as a student, staff, teacher, and finally the director of mens training. He's also been a breathworker, an anger management class facilitator for men in the San Francisco Sheriff's office, he is trained in NVC (Non Violent Communication) mediation, DBT Dialectic Behavioral Therapy), he's been a Family Constellation Facilitator for 9 years, and an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programing) practitioner and trainer for going on 4 years.
With his NLP certification, Tim works with people one-on-one in a private practice, and through a non-profit, Food Not Bombs, and focuses on people who have had adverse childhood experiences. He's also been involved in the MANKIND Project, an international men's organization for nine years, and has staffed the New Warrior Training Adventure Weekend over a dozen times.
Tim is currently in a TRE (Trauma Release Exercise) certification training.
