Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello, and welcome to simple man sermons, the preachings of
a simple man called by God to share the good
news of Jesus Christ. Are you zealous for God? Are
you zealous for Christ? Are you zealous for sharing Christ?
(00:22):
But it is zealous to be good? Or rather, it
is good to be zealous in good things always. That's
what the Bible says. You say that again because I
messed it up the first time. But it is good
to be zealously affected always in a good thing. That
is the King James or the new King James. But
(00:43):
it is good to be zealous in a good thing always.
What is a better thing? What is it? What could
be more of a good thing than Christ? Write nothing?
It's good to be zealous for Christ. We are called
to be brave soldiers for Christ. I boil a lot
(01:06):
of things down to being a warrior. If you guys
don't know my background, I don't normally say it on
this podcast, but marine corps, combat veteran army, law enforcement,
private contracting, mercenary work like Marshall application of being a warrior.
But that's not exactly what I'm talking about. But to
(01:29):
fight for Christ. This is going to sound very politically incorrect,
but I don't care. I'm not here to preach politics.
I'm here to preach Christ and what he preached. You
should want the entire world to be Christian. Period. You
(01:54):
don't think that's true. I'm gonna lay down one verse
or a couple of verses, but one in particular that's
gonna probably settle that for you, and hopefully you'll give
up the political correctness for actual correctness, meaning truth. Do
you believe Jesus? Do you believe that what he says
(02:14):
is true? Well, Jesus himself says, I am the Way,
the Truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through me. Period. Christianity, Christ meaning a proper
view of Christ. Not everybody that calls themselves Christian is
(02:36):
a Christian. But the belief in Christ as a savior
is the only way. It's the only way. No one
goes to the Father except through him, his saving, grace,
his salvation. His name Yeshuah Jesus means salvation. He is
the only name under heaven by which men can be saved.
(02:58):
That's also a Bible. He is the only name. There
is no other, not some fat pagan Buddhist statue no other.
He is the only name. It is written, you shall
love your neighbor as yourself. Right, Jesus says this when
he's asked, what's the greatest of all the commandments? Hero
(03:18):
is real, the Lord our God. The Lord is one.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all
your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind,
with all your strength. This is the first commandment, and
the second like it is this, You shall love your
neighbor as yourself. You get that. He gets that. He
is the Word made flesh from the Word the Torah.
Leviticus nineteen. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. You
shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the
(03:39):
children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor
as yourself. It is also written in Leviticus nineteen. The
stranger who dwells among you shall be as one born
among you, and you shall love him as yourself. Do
you love your neighbor as yourself? Now? The new age
garbage political correctness would be, oh, you just gotta be tolerant,
(04:00):
You just gotta you know, live and let live. And
everybody's religion is beautiful and sprinkled with truth. What if
that's all garbage, and they're going to die and go
to hell, because that's what Jesus says. If you actually
love your neighbor, you wouldn't let them die and sin.
You wouldn't let them die to an eternal hell where
there's wailing and gnashing of teeth. Hell is a real place.
(04:21):
Jesus talks about hell all the time. It's a real place,
wailing and gnashing of teeth for eternity. If you actually
love your neighbor as yourself, your main goal should be
stopping them from going to hell. Right, how what is
a better way to love your neighbor than to take
(04:43):
them from death to life, from certain death to certain salvation,
if you actually love your neighbor instead of just not
wanting to rock the boat, I don't want to rock
the boat. I don't want to offend anybody. Did Jesus say,
don't offend anybody? No, he says, people will hate you,
they will persecute you. Why because you rocked the boat.
(05:04):
When somebody is talking about the disciples and the Way,
which is what the earlier Christians were called in the
Book of Acts, they said, those who have turned the
world upside down and they're enraged and they go to
destroy them in one of the cities where they're preaching.
Why because they were rocking the boat, because they were
shaking stuff up. But they were doing it because they
(05:26):
actually loved their neighbor. They didn't want them or should
make a bunch of stupid pagan idols like they were
doing in that time in Greece, because they knew if
they did that, they weren't loving your neighbor as themselves.
They weren't like, oh live and let live. This is
a Greek place, let me let me you know, honor
Greek customs. Know. They knew the right thing to do
(05:46):
was to preach Christ, and many of them believing, came
to Christ. If you actually love your neighbor, you would
want him to live. If you actually love somebody, you
would want them to be saved. So I don't care
what political correctness, as the actual correct thing to do
is want to make them a Christian. I say again,
you should want the entire world to be Christian. What
(06:10):
is if you think that's politically incorrect or not correct?
What is the great commission for every convert to Christ?
For you, if you're a Christian, you'll find it in
the Gospel of Matthew. This is Jesus, and he said
to them, go into all the world and preach the
(06:31):
Gospel to every creature. You should want the entire world
to be Christian, period. That's the loving thing to do.
That's loving your neighbor as yourself. Do you not want
to be saved from hell? Should you not love your
neighbor as yourself and want him to be saved from hell?
How do you do that? Christ is the only way,
(06:53):
not letting them die in their sin, not letting them
continue with some stupid pagan religion or in Islam. Islam
is not the same. This is a major world religion
right now that's pushing its way and has been for
fourteen hundred years, over and over again, pushing its way
into other nations, enforcing its religion, not like Christianity did
(07:15):
with monks and peaceful protests and martyrs, but with the sword.
They do believe in Jesus. I know that. Before you
get on me about that. I have studied Islam probably
more than many Muslims. Honestly, I've looked into it. I've
read the Quran. It is not the same. It is
not the same. There's no salvation in Islam. They do
believe in Christ, but they do not believe in his deity.
(07:35):
They do not believe that he is the son of God.
In fact, they get very angry about that. They do
not believe that he is the son of God. They
do not believe that he is salvation. And it is
not the same. And to let them die in their
sin is not loving. Now, we don't convert by waterboarding, like,
(07:57):
that's not the way that we convert. Right, we don't
convert by the sword. That's what Muslims do. They convert
through violence and cohercion. You convert by preaching the beauty
of the Gospel. Now, Jesus saves, not you. You don't
get to decide who's saved. Your job is to go
(08:17):
out to all the world and preach, to share the
good news. His job will be to convert the Holy
Spirit working through you. Not everybody will convert. Not everybody
converted to Paul and the early Disciples. Right, he go
into the city and many would convert, maybe three thousand
at a time, but not everybody. There's plenty in those
cities that died in their sins. It's not your job
to save everybody. But it is your job to preach
(08:39):
to everybody that you can so that they might be saved.
I say again, if you love your neighbor as yourself,
you would want the entire world to be Christian. You
should want a Christian nation. You should want your entire
nation to be Christian. We were founded, as I say this,
(09:01):
by God's chriscious people listening all over the world. But
America was founded as a Christian nation. It has Judeo
Christian values, it always has that whole. Freedom of religion
and the separation of church and state. Number one. Separation
of church and state is not in the Constitution, not
in any founding document. It was in a letter that
one guy wrote to another guy. That was it. You'll
not find separation of church and state anywhere in the
(09:22):
founding documents. Also, freedom of religion meant freedom to worship
Christian religion, different Christian sects that may have small disagreements,
but are all brothers in Christ. That's what it meant.
If you don't believe me, look at how they treated witches.
You know from jump, but from before we were in nation.
Look at how they treated witches. They were killed. You
shall not suffer a witch to live. They were never
(09:46):
free to worship witchcraft or Satan or pagan garbage. They
were free to worship Christ. That's freedom of religion we're
talking about. But again, you don't convert with water boarding
or sword, but you should want the entire world to
be Christian. Anything else is unloving, anything else is you
being a coward. I would submit and not wanting to
(10:06):
rock the vote or be politically incorrect. Would you die
for Christ? Would you suffer for Christ? If you said
yes to both those things, then how would you answer
this any other way? Would you be politically incorrect for Christ?
Ooh A lot of people today wouldn't. They would rather
not rock the bout. They would rather believe that all
(10:28):
religions are beautiful, but they're not. What if they're all
garbage and there's only one way to live and that's Christ.
That's what I believe, because that's what God says, That's
what Jesus says himself. He doesn't say, you know, some
people will be saved by me, some people will be
saved by Muhammad. Some people will be saved by a
fat Buddhist statue. Some people will be staved by Worshipingnistan. No,
(10:49):
he says those things are an abomination. He says, the
only way is him. He's the only way. You can
believe Jesus or not. But there is no. You can't
believe that Christianity is true and is Lam is true.
You can't believe that Christianity is true and Hinduism is true.
You can't. They are mutually exclusive. So if you believe
Christ and you actually love your neighbor as yourself, you
should want the entire world to be Christian. I don't
(11:12):
think you can argue that from a spiritual perspective any
other way. Would you die for Christ? Would you live
for Christ? Would you be politically incorrect for Christ? Do
you want the whole world to be Christian? I think
those are some pretty obvious marching orders. Be a good
(11:33):
soldier for Christ. Thanks for listening, and have a blessed day.
