This week we are diving deep into why was I a Pick Me Girl?
According to the Urban Dictionary, a "pick me girl" is a girl who seeks male validation by indirectly or directly insinuating that she's not like the other girls. For example, she may have or present herself to have more guy friends because they're less problematic and catty than women are.
And I have to be honest, I definitely was that girl that convinced myself that it was okay to have more guy friends because they were less problematic and less dramatic. In this episode, I break down why I believe I was seeking this male validation and share some of my most embarrassing "pick me" moments.
Make sure you stay until the end where I'll be reading some of you guys most embarrassing "pick me" moments as well!
