We need to remember to always feed the good inside of us and not feed our addictions. First of all, I want to thank my amazing wife for the work she put in to helping design our new logo for the show.

Second, I want to thank all of our listeners and fans for all of the support as we now take a new approach to the show, Sober for Life - A Christian Addiction Recovery Podcast. I owe my recovery to God and as such feel He deserves the recognition in everything that I've learned and how much I've grown.

As we venture down the road of recovery, there are many obstacles that may arise. If we are not careful about the people we surround ourselves with, the activities we participate in, and the situations we place ourselves in, the chances of a relapse increase. However, if we can learn what the signs of relapse are, and learn to recognize them, then we can develop a game plan and avoid going back down the road of addiction.

In order to get the most out of what the 12 steps have to offer, we have to understand what they are, why they are there, and what they mean, as well as how we can complete them. In the next three weeks, Brent will be going into each of the 12 steps one by one to give a better understanding on this key part of the recovery process.
