Expert på ungdomsbrottslighet vid NOA, Polismyndighetens nationella operativa avdelning, som utrett både gängkriminalitet och våld i nära relationer för statens räkning. Som första och enda kvinna har hon varit chef för Polisregion Stockholm med 7 000 anställda, i nio års tid. Där gick hon i bräschen för riktade insatser som ungdomsråd och lokala poliskontor. Hon är jurist och före detta förskolelärare som utbildade sig till polischef vid FBI i USA.
