Hans populära Vinterprat ”Diagnoserna i mitt liv” ledde till att han nyligen utsågs till hedersdoktor vid Umeå universitet. Under året har Olof Wretling också gjort nyinläsningen av ”Emil i Lönneberga” och rösten till Lustig-Gök i ”Astrid Lindgrens jul” i SVT. I höstas gjorde han succé med humorföreställningen ”Monstrets tid” på Kulturhuset Stadsteatern tillsammans med medlemmar från Klungan och Mammas Nya Kille.

– Jag har alltid varit avundsjuk på dom som kan bli arga och säger ifrån. Jag har provat att sjunga punk, engagerat mig i ung vänster och gått en snabbkurs i samuraj.
