Han är Rysslandsexperten och forskaren som i samband med krigsutbrottet 2022 var överallt, i tv-soffor och nyhetssändningar.
Plötsligt var Martin Kraghs kunskap och expertis det som efterfrågades av alla för att förstå vad som hände, och varför, när Ryssland invaderade Ukraina. Samma år kom hans bok om Rysslands historia – Det fallna imperiet – som blev det årets mest sålda fackbok i Sverige.
”Går inte att bli av med sjukdomen”
Under hösten 2022 fick han diagnosen cancer i bukspottskörteln.
Under nästan tre år med omfattande behandlingar har han ändå fortsatt skriva och till hösten kommer en ny bok, om den nya världsordning som kan växa fram i spåren av vår tids stora konflikter.
