Gary Gach | Answers to Common Questions About Buddhism

At 3pm EST, spiritualist Gary Gach will join the show to talk about his book, 'The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Buddhism.' Gary was originally introduced to meditation by Paul Reps. Later, he moved to San Francisco, where he has since been based. A student of Hasidic Judaism and Kabbalah under Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, he has been introduced to shikantaza by Dainin Katagiri Roshi. He has been invited to ordain in Thich Nhat Hanh's core community, the Order of Interbeing. Gary leads mindfulness meditation at the Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples and serves on the International Advisory Panel of The Buddhist Channel (a global Buddhist media).
