SouthCrest Church Sunday message, 3/23/2025. Senior Pastor Matt McFadden asks, “how is your heart?” as our journey through the Bible continues in 1 Samuel 8 and 15. In these chapters we observe a contrast in hearts: of King Saul and future King David. Saul‘s heart was not one to wait, walk, worship and weep with God, and thus he loses the kingdom. Whereas David‘s heart is one to wait, walk, worship and weep with God, and thus he gains a never ending kingdom.
