The gangway drops, the music hits, and we kick off a cruise-driven, faith-forward journey from Port Canaveral with one goal: make your time at sea effortless, joyful, and unforgettable. We introduce our duo—Captain Jesse and the Cruise Coach—and dive right into how to choose the best Florida homeport, from Miami’s buzz to Tampa Bay’s Skyway views, and why that first decision shapes your itinerary, budget, and onboard rhythm.

We unpack the big Caribbean question—East, West, or South—and explain what each route delivers, from Cozumel tacos and Cayman reefs to longer Southern escapes like Aruba. Then we zoom in on the ships themselves: Utopia, Icon, and Star of the Seas redefine “floating city” with aqua theaters, two-tier promenades, solariums, and spa sanctuaries that rival land resorts. You’ll hear smart, actionable tips: Boardwalk and Central Park balcony hacks on Oasis-class ships, the best ways to catch the AquaTheater (including from your own balcony), and complimentary breakfast windows that most guests miss.

Competition is reshaping the industry for the better. We talk MSC’s rise, why dry docks matter, and how more than fifty new ships on order will push design, dining, and entertainment forward. Private islands are leveling up too—think Perfect Day at CocoCay and Carnival’s Celebration Key—making short sailings feel like full-on resort getaways. If you’re a first-timer, we demystify gratuities, inclusions, and what “turn off your brain” truly means once you step aboard.

Most of all, we’re building community. Join our hosted group cruises to get concierge-style planning: curated excursions, dining guidance, show reservations, and flexible tracks for families, foodies, and adventurers. Link two ports in one vacation with Brightline rail, or bookend your sailing with Cocoa Beach sunsets and Orlando theme parks. We keep it service-first and faith-centered, closing with a prayer for safe voyages and lighter hearts.

Subscribe, share with your cruise-curious friends, and tell us where you want to sail next. Your next great story might be waiting just beyond the pier—come aboard and let’s chart it together.

(00:49):
you will find the cruise coach.

SPEAKER_01 (00:51):
What's up, Vacation Nation?
That's right.
I am the Cruise Coach.
We are right here in thePeople's Port.
That's right, Port Canaveral,Florida.
You have the captain ridden theship right down the center.
Nothing better, nothing moreexciting.

SPEAKER_02 (01:07):
Exactly, Rich.
And uh, you know, we we've beenbehind the scenes trying to get
this uh show launched for awhile.
Uh real quick backstory.
I don't want to dull you knowour audience on the on the first
couple minutes, but honestly, when I say this has been in the
works for a minute, um we had acouple uh episodes banked back
in 19 in 2020 before the bigshutdown with COVID and

(01:31):
everything else.
And uh it wasn't really until Ifound the cruise coach to where
I said, you know what, I need toresurrect the uh the portcast.
And with some uh help and someyou know a lot of brainstorming
recently, uh we've decided uhwe're gonna call it the peer
pressure portcast.
I originally was thinking SpaceCoast portcast, but that that
limits.
Even though we're here on theSpace Coast, we're talking all

(01:54):
cruises, all ports, all youknow, all of Florida and beyond.
So no matter where you'relistening from, uh it's gonna be
relevant for you, okay?
So again, welcome.
Thank you so much for tuning in.
And uh boy, do we have a lot tostart?
So we're we're we're gonna justbegin with who we are.
So, you know, the cruise coach.

SPEAKER_01 (02:14):
Who are you, buddy?
What's up, Vacation Nation?
Like I said, my name is thecruise coach.
Uh, I am here in the CounttownCounty 321.
I am part of Team LimitlessTravel.
We are the affiliate of MalunaTravel out of Charleston, South
Carolina.
Uh Blake and Josie Spa, twophenomenal humans.

(02:37):
Uh, the Lord has blessed me withas part of the team.
Uh, like I said, Team LimitlessTravel.
Uh, we do vacations, so it's notjust cruising.
Obviously, yes, I am the cruisecoach.
Uh, I've been doing travelhonestly since about 2022.
I've been a head football coach.
I've been in sports my wholelife.

(02:58):
And in uh 22, the Lord blessedme with uh having the
opportunity to jump into thetravel business.
I've always been on the fields, the athletic arenas, and I was
in Bimini, and Team LentlessTravel was started in Bimini,
Bahamas, in a pool.
Met a gentleman who then lateron transitioned uh out of the

(03:20):
business and then uh he wentahead and gave me the number of
Blake over at the wonderfulMaluna Travel.
Like I said, they areaffiliates.
He is the best land guy in thebusiness.
So if you want to land businessor you want to go anywhere

(03:41):
land-wise, he is the tourmaster.
Um Universal is his home.
And like I said, we have youcovered.
Like the captain was alludingto, whether it's Port Canaveral,
which is our favorite port, obviously, we are it's in our
own backyard.
You have the port of Miami, which is the world's busiest

(04:03):
port, and it is so busy and soglitzy, there's nothing like
South Florida.
Right down the street from theport of Miami, you have the Port
Everglades, which is located inFort Lauderdale, again, super,
super close to uh the airport, and it's extremely fast paced.
And another hidden gem is rightover on the west coast of
Florida.

(04:23):
That right, that's right, it isthe port of Tampa Bay, and
again, it is right there on theGulf Side.
It is smaller, but it isgrowing, and a very, very cool
feature is if you cruise out ofthe Tampa Bay port, you actually
go underneath the bridge, and itis absolutely amazing.

SPEAKER_02 (04:41):
But yeah, that Sky Bridge.

SPEAKER_01 (04:43):
Yeah, it is correct.
Yep, yep.
Yep.
So last but not least, thePeople's Port.
That's where we are located, right here in Port Canaveral,
Florida.
It is on the east coast ofCentral Florida, near Orlando,
about 45 minutes from theOrlando airport, and we have
three, that's right, threeairports right there.
So if you want to fly intoOrlando, Sanford, or Melbourne,

(05:07):
we got you covered with 3P.
That's right, the peer pressureport cast.

SPEAKER_02 (05:13):
I like it.
Good intro.
Yeah, going back to the SkyBridge, um, you know, of course
you're going to the Gulf, whichmost likely you're going to head
out further into the Gulf,right?
Towards Mexico.
Yeah, so Western WesternCaribbean.
So you may do um, I don't know,Belize or of course, you know,
Mexico and Cozumel.
You may go to um even uhCayman's.

(05:36):
Yes, sir.
You may go, I don't know if Iguess Jamaica would be
considered Western Caribbean aswell, Ocho Rios or That's
actually considered Eastern.

SPEAKER_01 (05:44):
Is it really?
And and really you have the thebig three, right?
Caribbean uh studies show thatif you travel to the Caribbean,
right, there's 72% of all oceancruises are to the Caribbean.

SPEAKER_03 (05:57):
Right.

SPEAKER_01 (05:57):
And you have the eastern, you have the western,
and another hidden gem is thesouthern Caribbean.

SPEAKER_02 (06:02):
Yeah, we're gonna talk about that as well because
I'm not sure how many boatsusually you have to have like
something longer than three,four-day cruises to get that
far.
Yes, sir.
Uh but then you are opened up toum, gosh, let's count all of
them.
You have Aruba down there, youhave Trinidad Tobago down there,
you have um what's the other uhthe big one down there?

(06:25):
You would know more than Iwould.
But we'll we'll figure that out.
Because again, I I have yet toeven consider the Southern
Caribbean.

SPEAKER_01 (06:31):
It's you know, and that's the thing, is is
cruising, obviously, it's alifestyle.
You have the cruise culture,we're getting ready to s to set
the cruise culture culture uh onfire.
Yes.
Uh and and you know, I'm just soexcited, uh Jesse, you know, the
captain, we met the just justgetting ready to, you know,
you're gonna be behind thewheel.
I'm gonna go ahead and and andbe the the the propulsion,

(06:56):
right?
The uh create that peerpressure.
And you know, it it's just it'sso so important, right?
Because five years ago as afootball coach, there was no
such thing.
We didn't talk about mentalhealth, right?
And and really, I truly believethere is no greater feeling than
just stepping foot on a cruise, you and your family, you and
your significant other, you andyour group.

(07:17):
You know, group travel is makesup 20% of the business.
Uh, and again, it's not really abusiness.
We don't have to sell youanything.
Right.
Our job, the captain, the cruisecoach, our job is to ultimately
educate and advise.
That's obviously what we do withTeam Limitless Travel.
You know, we just want to beable to serve, serve our local

(07:37):
community, serve our localchurch.
Uh again, serving the Lord issomething we we definitely it's
a flagship to us.
And and again, it's it's notabout me, it's about we.
And it's not about us, it'sabout him.
No matter what you what youlisten to, whether you're on
thecruisecoach.com, whetheryou're on prescription, the

(07:59):
number two paradise.com, youknow, it's so much we you know,
call the doctor becauseultimately all we want to do is
serve, get you to your nextbeautiful destination, and
again, for you to come backranting and raving, tell your
friends, and that is our jobsolely to create that cruise
culture mentality, and there'sno vibe better than peer

(08:23):
pressure portcast.

SPEAKER_02 (08:24):
Amen to that, brother.
And uh, and yeah, certainly weare uh there's big cruisers in
general.
So whether it's a you knowhusband-wife kind of you know
romantic getaway, if it'sfamily, uh of course, you know,
here at Port Canaveral, we arehome to uh Disney.
They they started here, they'restill with us.
Uh and I mean if you haven'tbeen on a Disney boat, it's it's

(08:47):
it is it's magical.
It's magic, it's magic at sea.
Uh it's it's quite incredible.
And you know, one thing againwith the the the cruise uh
vacation is when you get on thatship, it's you don't have to
worry about a thing.
You don't have to lift a finger.
Now there are some things maybeyou want to enjoy, so excursions
and some other uh foodamenities, maybe an extra

(09:10):
charge, but everything else isinclusive.
All the shows, all the all theentertainment, there's really
nowhere you can't go.
Of course, if you're gonna go toa casino, you're gonna have to
come out of pocket and and someother uh you know upgraded uh
adventures.
But for the most part, once youbook your your cabin, everything
else is is is included.
So it's a one of those thingswhere you just turn off the
mind, keep the wallet, you know,at home, just about, you know,

(09:32):
bring your passport, of course.
But it's one of those thingswhere you just go away and you
don't have to think aboutcooking, you don't have to think
about cleaning, you don't haveto think about where where
you're going.
I mean it's it's there's so manydifferent uh options as far as
uh eating venues, drinkingvenues, and so forth.
And uh it it really is a just aw a way to just escape ordinary,
you know, just get out there anduh and yeah, maybe maybe even

(09:55):
have a little bit of uh uh anawakening, you know, either
spiritually or or whatever else, because uh there's nothing
really between you and the sky,the stars are brighter,
everything's you know, the theair is cleaner, it's just it's a
whole different experience.

SPEAKER_01 (10:09):
I love that, Jesse.
You know, and it's so soimportant because it's not just
the cabin, right?
There's there's so manydifferent cabins in the
experience itself, right?
You and and now, for example, the utopia of the seas, that's
obviously our biggest um evereverybody talks about it.
You know, it it is hands downthe world's biggest weekend.
And and Royal Caribbean knowswhat they're doing, right?

(10:30):
There's four flagship cruiseships here in Florida.
Obviously, you have the busiestport with Miami.
It's the biggest ship in theworld, is the icon of the seas.
That's a seven-day cruise tasticadventure, Eastern and Western
Caribbean.
You also have the wonder of theseas, that's a three or
four-night cruise-asticadventure that goes to the
Bahamas, usually Nassau and umCoco Cay, which is unbelievable

(10:55):
if you've never been there.

SPEAKER_02 (10:56):
What they've done to that island is remarkable.
They like the biggest pool inthe northern hemisphere.

SPEAKER_01 (11:03):
Actually, actually, Carnival Celebration Key just
won up them.
No way.

SPEAKER_02 (11:09):
Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_01 (11:10):
I didn't hear about that.

SPEAKER_02 (11:11):
I haven't been to the Carnival Island.

SPEAKER_01 (11:12):
Yeah, neither have I.
And it's actually a GrandBahama.
You know, so so again, it'scompetition is good if you allow
it to be.
And and the one thing I'll say,you know, obviously, Miami, we
talk about competition.
People don't know this, but uhfor for a couple months, Port
Canaveral, aka the People'sPort, right here in our own
backyard, Jesse, that wasactually the busiest cruise port

(11:35):
in the world.
Right.
In the month of March alone, there was 98,200,000 people that
went through there.
That's a lot of people.
A lot.

SPEAKER_02 (11:44):
You know, it's funny is I I had asked um one of the
uh the commissioners or or whatyou may call them over at the
Port Uh Canaveral Authority, whomanages that port and all the
act activity there.
And and trust me, there's a lot.
Besides cruising, there'saerospace and all kinds of fun
things, unique to nowhere elsein the world, right?
And and I and I asked him aquestion.
I says, you know, we're allwe're kind of in b like going

(12:07):
back and forth between Miami.
It's a fun rivalry.
But who is getting the mostpassengers?
Who is the busiest port?
Because I feel like you know,we're always trading numbers,
and he replied simply like,Well, we released our numbers
and then they released theirs.
So it may be artificiallyinflated just to keep them in,
but we're it's a it's a constantbattle.
What I what what it comes downto is we have a lot of berths in

(12:28):
our port.
Yeah.
At any given time, there couldbe six boats at at berth, taking
all passengers, unloadingpassengers, fueling up, whatever
it is, right?
Getting pr provisions.
And it's pretty identical to uhPort of Miami.
At any given time, there's likefive, six, you know, ships
again, same thing, crews, putting uh getting all the trash

(12:50):
off, putting more fuel on,putting, you know, more crew and
and and passengers on.
I mean, it's a it's a wholeeconomy.
Like if you if you don't if youif you don't know the inside of
of of a a port's uh business, itis um it's just it it what's
great is it's uh usually uh verycondensed, meaning you know the
traffic has to be um supertimed, right?

(13:13):
Everything has to work in orlike an orchestra.

SPEAKER_03 (13:15):
Right.

SPEAKER_02 (13:16):
So many moving parts.
Ship shipments coming in,shipments going out, people
coming in, provisions coming in,everything's coming in.
And usually these ports are notbig places, right?
Right?
And so everything is gettingdone.
It's it's a it's a marvel towatch, it really is.
But the fact is that thesepassengers get to go on, and at
most times it's a it's a fullboat.
I mean, most most sailings havefull capacity, and that means on

(13:39):
some of these large boats, there's 10,000 people on a boat,
yeah, crew and passengerscombined.
Yes, sir.
That's a s that's a floatingcity.

SPEAKER_01 (13:46):
Right, 100%.
You know, you just hit the nailon the head right there.
Uh obviously, we just talkedabout you know the icon of the
seas, the world's largest cruiseship, and the wonder of the
seas, which is the second class, which is the Oasis class, Jesse.
However, we have those same sizeships right here in our own
backyard.
Yeah, and again, competition isgood, even in your own business.

(14:09):
Uh Royal Caribbean, I believe,is 28 cruise ships right now.
So, right now in our ownbackyard, probably the the best
of the best, the best three orfour night cruise tastic
adventure you can find anywherein the world is the Utopia of
the Seas, 6,800 passengers atmax capacity, 5,668 passengers

(14:29):
at double capacity, 2,800 staterooms.
The cool part of that ship is ofthose 2,800 state rooms, 1,900
are balconies.
And the way the ship is built isit's built like a puzzle.
Those ship those cabins arebuilt off-site and put in one at
a time.
Uh so again, you know, there's18 decks, you just hit the nail

(14:49):
on the head.
There's 2,290 crew.
Um, it is 23600,000 grossregistered tons, 1,188 uh feet
in length.
You know, again, there's so manycomplimentary things.
You hit the you you talkedabout, you alluded to it
earlier.
Everything is already there.
You don't have to spend one dimebesides gratuity, uh about$1,850

(15:14):
per person per day and$21 uh perday for the sweets, other than
what you spent when youinitially get on the cruise
ship.
Obviously, we definitelyrecommend a little extra
gratuity.
So that's the utopia.
And then lastly, the tide,right?
So again, you you talked aboutgoing back and forth.
You have the icon of the seas inMiami, and you have the icon

(15:36):
two, which is the star of theseas.
Absolutely amazing.
We did a four-night head.
I I literally would would loveto live on it the rest of my
life.
Um, and again, that you'retalking 6800 passengers at max
capacity, and it is absolutelybonkers.
There's nothing like it.

(15:58):
It has two levels of apromenade, Jesse.
I'm telling you, Captain, we gotto figure out how to get on
there and have a port pressureport cast from that ship.

SPEAKER_02 (16:07):
So, yeah, and and what's great about this podcast
um is that not only do we are wefocusing on you know all these
ports, all these cruise ships, all these ports of call, but
we're actually going to beinviting our audience on some of
the cruises with us.
And where we will definitely bedoing remote uh podcasting uh
from the boat.

(16:28):
I've already done it once, anduh so we're gonna incorporate
that, but also you're gonna behanging out with us.
And that means all the rightexcursions, all the right dining
options, all like we're youknow, come joining us on a on a
cruise vacation, you're gonnahave all the hacks.
Even if so, even if it's yourfirst time, you have no idea
what to do.
We're gonna make sure that yousee the right shows, you eat the

(16:51):
right food, you get off at theports of call, and we go to uh a
hand-picked, right?
So it's like a concierge,hand-picked uh group of
businesses.
So from shopping to food anddining, we're gonna be leading
the charge, we're gonna be outthere.
Um, and we probably you know, there may be a time where we
have to split up.
I may take some peoplesnorkeling, you may take some

(17:12):
people to uh you know anoff-site resort uh where there's
some other amenities for forfamilies and so forth.
So there's gonna be somethingfor everybody involved, there's
gonna be plenty of choices, anduh and you won't be led astray.
You'll be you'll you'll be uhyou'll have your hand held as
much as you want, or you'll beable to to go free uh lone wolf
as much as you want as well, depending on your cruise
experience and whatever youdesire.

SPEAKER_01 (17:32):
You know, Jesse, it's it you that is so true.
And and the thing that's crazyis cruising initially changed.
So obviously, we know youstarted Space Coast Portcast
COVID, and now post-COVID,right?
We have to understand that eventhe cruise ships have changed.
Right.
The OASIS class and the iconclass are gigantic.

(17:54):
Again, competition is king, competition is phenomenal.
MSC, which is another cruiseline that's that's really
they've really, you know, putthe hooks into the cruise
industry.
They're taking a lot of theclientele from Carnival, they're
taking a lot of the clientelefrom Royal Caribbean.
So again, the only person whobenefits is the vacation nation.

(18:16):
So it's not obviously just thecruise line making the money,
it's better experiences.
Right.
The cruise ships are nowstarting to be the destinations
themselves.
We have so many clients withport pre peer pressure portcast
that they don't even get off theship, and that's okay.
And like you said, you want tostay on the ship, you want to do
a slot pool with us?

SPEAKER_02 (18:36):
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, so if you don't have apassport, it's recommended
because most people like to getoff the boat, get a little
culture, you're in a new island, you've never been there, but I
don't think you need a passportfor Coco Key, right?
Because that's that's a a youknow, and all and by the way,
all of these cruise lines havetheir own private private
islands.

(18:56):
So MSC, uh Norwegian.
We just heard that carnival's isis you know going back and forth
with the perfect day Coco K fromuh Royal Caribbean
International, right?
So all these cruise lines havetheir own little island out
there in in in the Bahamas, andit makes the experience just,
you know.
So you get you get off land, youknow, you get to uh you know,
touch the sand, feel the breezein your face, you know, uh swim

(19:16):
in the the ocean and and do allthe things, right?
But it's as much or as little asyou want.
If you just need the vacation,my God, some of the spas on
board are some of the bestwell-run spas in the world, the
most luxurious uh appointments, the most you know, so uh
facials, if you're thinkingabout the uh uh clay wraps, uh

(19:37):
if you're doing uh salt glow, you know, they they have all the
sp the spa uh uh coudremen, youknow.
Like whatever you you get at uha spa of your choice, you know,
at your favorite spa in yourhometown, trust me, that onboard
spa is gonna blow you away.
The fitness center.
So again, you could go as hard, you go as mild, you could be
crazy, you could be lazy.
It's it's your experience.

SPEAKER_01 (19:58):
You know, Captain, it sounds like you've been on a
cruise ship and might know alittle bit about that side of
things.

SPEAKER_02 (20:04):
Yeah, yeah.
So uh full disclosure, uh Ispent four months um living and
working on a cruise ship manyyears ago, many years ago, and
we did three and four days.
Uh so I was in Nassau twice aweek, I was in uh Key West uh
once a week, Miami twice a week,uh and the private island twice
a week.
And so I got to know all thedecks.

(20:27):
Let's just put it that way.
I'd work on the top deck and I'dsleep on one of the bottom
decks.
And uh, and trust me, theexperience, I mean the crew,
they love the passengers.
We absolutely love to see yourfaces coming on and the but the
hugs going off, you know.
And so it's just like high five,I don't know you, but we're
gonna be friends real quick, youknow, and and before you know
it, in in three or four days youbuild relationships.
It's one of the most gratifyingthings ever.

(20:49):
And uh, and having done massagetherapy, of course, I was in one
of the better places, andtypically spas are that high
deck, you know, that there's asolarium, there's usually an
adult-only um uh area where youcould actually just relax, you
can unwind, and uh, andtypically it's in the in the aft
of the boat, which is towardsthe the stern or or um where you

(21:11):
know above the engines, so tospeak.
So there's many different partsof a boat, but all those
luxurious features are typicallyum on the on you know, aft and
and really high, you know, oneof the top decks.
So beautiful views back there.
You just see the you know wherewe where where the boat has
left, and if you go towards thebow, uh you see where the boat's

(21:32):
going, and uh and it's just it'sremarkable.
And especially on these boats, because they're so much more
elevated than on the boats thatI was serving on 25 years ago.
You're on these boats that youknow, I think we went up to like
nine or ten decks.
Now you have like what 14, 15something decks.
It's ridiculous.

SPEAKER_01 (21:47):
18 total decks.
18 decks.
I can't on the that's so high.

SPEAKER_02 (21:50):
Yeah.
That is so high.

SPEAKER_01 (21:51):
You know, and and the best part is so many of our
clients, so many of our clientswith team limits travel and the
cruise coach.com say, hey, Iwant to do an all-inclusive.
Yeah.
Well, guess what?
You don't even have to go to anairport to do an all-inclusive.
You know, uh, we call it thesweet, sweet life.
Uh you you talked about thesolarium, there are solarium
suites, there's a royal familysuite with a slide that's two

(22:13):
stories, uh, up to$95,000 perperson.
Sure.
Not all the time.
You know, but but again, if ifthere's if there's something you
want to do for you and yourfamily, Royal Caribbean, MSc,
Carnival, Norwegian, Princess,Celebrity, there's so many
cruise ships out there for you.

(22:34):
And the best part is, you know, the business pro is prospering,
Jesse.

SPEAKER_02 (22:38):
Right.

SPEAKER_01 (22:38):
And there are 56 ships on order right now in the
industry at one to two billiondollars per ship.
Wait, how many?
56.

SPEAKER_02 (22:47):
56 boats in production.
And there's I know with at leastwith RC, Royal Caribbean,
they're always dry docking,right?
That's when they get the boatout of the water three this
year.
And they refurbished it.
Right.
There's so three are being drydocked, refurbished, updated,
upgraded, the whole thing.
And uh, and so yeah, these theseboats will remain in service.

(23:07):
So that 1.2 billion, that that 3billion, however much these
boats are costing nowadays, trust me, they're worth it.
And when you see the interior ofthese boats, I and if you
haven't watched, by the way, quick plug for my man, the
cruise coach, find him onTikTok.
This guy is torn.
I watch his TikToks.
He's my buddy, he's my co-host.
I will watch his TikToks becauseI have yet to be on some of

(23:28):
these boats that he has theprivilege of being on.
And uh, and you go, and he andhe's securing all these, you
know, uh rooms and he's he'sbooking blocks of rooms for all
these families and engagements.
Group, like huge groups, andhe's got all these um so he's on
the boat like all the time, andhe just doing the tour, you
know, with his phone, and if yousee some of these things like

(23:49):
the the kinetic, it's like asphere, and you're walking up
these stairways and the and theIt's called the Pearl.

SPEAKER_01 (23:54):
The Pearl, yes.
And that's on the star of theseason, the icon of the sea is
both of them the largest cruiseships in the world.

SPEAKER_02 (24:00):
And by the way, like these are things I don't I don't
I don't I haven't seen at atheme park.
I like honestly, I don't seethem in beautiful hotels.
Like these are things exclusivejust to being at sea.
Being at sea gives you a wholenother world of vacationing
because you do you don't evenhave to leave the boat with
onboard ice skating rinks, onboard uh static wave, you

(24:24):
know, the the aqua theater.
Yeah, the aqua theaters.
Yeah, these people are doingaerobatics.
Anyway, it's breathtaking.
It's dinner and a show over andover and over again.
Yes.
Yes, that's that's I mean thebest way to describe it.

SPEAKER_01 (24:35):
You know, and and it you hit the nail on the head
earlier.
It truly is a floating city.
Uh again, the utopia, the aquashow.
We talked about the thebalconies, right?
The old school ocean viewbalcony is hands down many
people's favorite.
But I'll tell you, I have I havea cost-effective balcony.

SPEAKER_02 (24:52):
A hack?

SPEAKER_01 (24:53):
A hack.
Is this hack number one?
Episode number one?
Number one fromthecruisecoach.com.
And it is what's called aboardwalk balcony.
So there are three types ofbalconies on the ship.
You have the old school oceanview balcony, um, and then you
have two inside-facingbalconies.
The first one is Central ParkBalcony, very similar to Central
Park, New York.
A lot of greenery.

(25:14):
Uh it's classical musicthroughout the night.
That's where a lot of thespecialty dining restaurants are
located.
And then my personal favorite, afew dollars less, is the
boardwalk balcony.
It's got a Coney Island theme.
It has a carousel for the kids,Johnny Rockets.
Uh, you can have breakfast onall the Oasis class ships.

(25:36):
Hack number two, inside hacknumber one, is Johnny Rockets
for Breakfast.
It's included, it'scomplimentary on all the Oasis
class ships.
Again, make sure you know thetime.
Sometimes it's 9:30, sometimesit's 8:30 that you close or that
they close, because it dependson whether you're going to a
destination or you're at a dayat sea.

(25:58):
Then obviously you've gotplaymakers, which is the sports
bar, absolutely unbelievable.
You have Sugar Beach, you havethe Abyss, which is a slide that
goes down 10 stories, not waterslide, but slide.

unknown (26:12):
Wow.

SPEAKER_01 (26:13):
And the best is when you get the last two rooms on
the boardwalk balcony thatoverlooks the Aqua Show.
You have the best show from yourbalcony, and again, like you
said, it's complimentary, it'sincluded.
So we always suggest do one timefrom your balcony and one time
walk down, even if you haven'treserved it, walk down, wait in

(26:35):
the line, you can still get in.
And I'm telling you, that is theshow of shows, and it is called
80s Aqua 2.

SPEAKER_02 (26:43):
Amazing.
I can't wait to travel with thisguy.
Just just so you know, he's likea walking encyclopedia.
And um, and what's what's reallyfun, you know, because we have
so many ideas.
One of the fun things, wealready talked about Port of
Miami.
We have this new train calledBright Line, and and I threw
this at the cruise coach alittle bit.
I'm like, what if we design acruise package that incorporates

(27:07):
both ports?
Hear me out.
So what's great about this iswithout renting a car, right?
You you get off the the the boatin uh the ship in Miami, right?
You're like, that was a greatthree or four days.
And maybe it went to one uh areaof the Caribbean, and then you
take the Bright Line, just aquick Uber ride away from the
port of Miami, you hop on thethe Brightline train, we'll pick

(27:29):
you up here in Orlando until weactually have our own uh
terminal uh here uh on the spacecoast, which is in pr like in
production in the thoughts.
I I I believe we're like We'rethinking about I believe we're
like twenty-four months away.
Because I think they've already,you know, I think I think
there's all the things that arepointing at at getting
developed.
And once we have that stop herelocally, it's gonna be get off

(27:54):
the ship, bright line, get offthe bright line, Uber to another
ship, and and the we're gonnawe're just we're gonna be again,
this is maybe an industry first, but we're gonna be customizing
uh and tailoring vacations justfor you and your family, like
nobody else has.
Uh those are things to come.
Once we uh can have wrap ourround around our head around it,
we're gonna be mentioning it andand and providing those things

(28:16):
for you as well.
And another tip with withhanging out with us, we have
some great relationships, andI'm gonna lean on uh the cruise
coach more for this, but we havethe hotels uh on our side in in
town.
So what does that mean?
Well, you can bookend yourvacation.
You can hang out with us inCocoa Beach, right?
You could do all the sand andsurf stuff and Ron John and do

(28:37):
all the shopping here, go on thethe cruise, enjoy your cruise
vacation, and then come backwith us and then decompress
after the cruise, get all youryour your thoughts in order, and
then before you head home, you're kicking off the sand uh
from enjoying you know a couplemore days at the beach.
So we could really customize andtailor all of these experiences
for you.
You just gotta let them know howbig you want to go.

(28:57):
You know, how how how deepentrenched do you want to get uh
into our local uh economy andeverything the space coast has
to offer?
Again, you could this bookendalso includes Orlando if you
want to stay at a theme park fora couple days, then the then the
cruise ship, and then more uhtheme parks.
Well, however you want this tobe you know to look for you and
your family, my goodness, we'rewe're ready to accommodate.

(29:20):
So that I'm just throwing thatout there.

SPEAKER_01 (29:22):
Exactly.
Thank you, Captain, and I'lltell you vacation nation, we
simply hope you're ready.
Yes, okay.
Because this can go wherever youguys want to go.
Yeah, right?
Couple different ideas.
Uh Jesse just alluded to itright there.
You want to take a seven-day goto the Western Caribbean, jump
on the bright line, get off inOrlando, we'll go ahead and
scoop you up.
Uh Team Limless Travel and uhand again the cruise coach,

(29:46):
we're we're here for you, theTLT family.
Yeah, right.
You want to get your hair done, nails done.
We have a connect there.
Amara, salon, and spa.
It's only minutes from you know520.
Uh again, you have 520 and 520.
twenty eight, both will lead youright there to uh to the the the
port, the people's port, akaport canaveral, and it just

(30:08):
doesn't stop there.
Right.
Again, you alluded to itearlier.
Nassau.
Everybody, the number one knockof any of the areas, people are
saying, ah, I've already doneNassau.
Well, just wait.
Not with us.
Because, yes, that's true.
And Royal Caribbean, ParadiseIsland's getting ready to happen
in Nassau.
That'll be ready the 25th ofDecember.

(30:29):
I saw that the other day.
That's gonna be uh kind of anall-inclusive um day adventure.
So you'll tinder over from theship to that area.
Paradise Island, yeah.
Yep, to Paradise Island.
You have Coco K Mexico coming.
You have another spot in Mexicocoming, you have a spot in the

(30:54):
South Pacific, and again, notonly is Royal Caribbean doing
the largest cruise ships in theworld, two of them, they're
doing a discovery class, whichthey haven't even said how big
those ships are gonna be.
If I'm guessing, I think they'regonna redo those smaller ships,
the grandeur, the serenade, those 74 um thousand, you know,

(31:15):
pound ships.
And uh again, it's gonna bewhat's next.
And the best part is just wait.

SPEAKER_02 (31:23):
Just wait indeed.
Um, real quick, I just want tovisit our sponsor, and uh and
we'll be right back with more.
Uh, don't go anywhere.

SPEAKER_01 (31:44):
We appreciate you, vacation nation.
That's right.
This is the cruise coach herewith the captain, and we are
peer pressure portcast.
Again, we just want to simplyinvite you on this journey with
us.
Uh, today is day one of the peerpressure portcast right here in
Port Canaveral, aka the People'sPort.
And we have talked about theports, the four main ports here

(32:08):
in the state of Florida.
We have talked about Nassau inthe Caribbean.
We've talked about the Easternand Western Caribbean, and
again, it just doesn't stopthere.
This is the cruise coach and thecaptain, and we simply want to
talk about follow us and we'lltake you somewhere.
That's right.
And that somewhere can beanywhere, and it doesn't just

(32:28):
have to be on a cruise ship.

SPEAKER_02 (32:32):
Well done.
And again, that was a word fromthe cruise coach.
You can find them at thecruisecoach.com.
And uh and and correct me if I'mwrong, but people can start to
uh browse cruises right fromyour website, correct?

SPEAKER_01 (32:44):
So there's if you simply just fill out the the
form, okay, we can go ahead andget you, you just kind of gives
us a general idea, you know, anduh there's so many, so many
things right exciting thingshappening.
The cruise coach was just in thestudio.
Uh so you might have heard thesong.

SPEAKER_02 (33:03):
They heard they heard a song in the beginning,
and uh and that's gonna be ourtheme song from here on out.
It's gonna be an outro uh andintro.

SPEAKER_01 (33:10):
And hats off, that's Jason Noon of Garden House
Studios, an old friend of ours.
I've known Jason since we were10 years old.
That's right, oh galley littleleague.
And again, the power ofrelationships, it's so, so true.
Yeah, we are here in 321, akathe countdown county, and it's
so, so important because therelationships you build today,
you never know where that'sgoing to take you down the road.

(33:31):
Jesse and I met through uh againa uh a common acquaintance who
has done a podcast here at SpaceCoast Podcast Studios right here
in Melbourne, and uh we are soso excited for what's next.
Uh again, whether it's cruising, whether it's all inclusives,
whether it's a combination ofboth, whether it's a surf and

(33:52):
turf on Disney, you could gofive days at the theme park,
we'll get you squared away withthe tourmaster, and five days on
a ship, ten days for yourfamily, unheard of in the
industry, and that's a firstfrom peer pressure portcast.

SPEAKER_02 (34:10):
You you heard it here first from the cruise
coach.
And again, there's gonna be umsome things that we will
develop.
So the more you tune in, themore you'll hear about all these
kind of cool things uh in thepipeline.
Our wheels are spinning.
They don't stop.
And they yeah, it never stops.
It's 24-7.
Like, what else can we just beover the top with?
And we have exciting uh swag andother uh uh apparel and and

(34:32):
other things coming on.
So you're you're gonna you'regonna be outfitted.
So be before you even get thecruise, you're gonna be sent all
kinds of like really coolthings.
You'll have options to upgradeto other things from beach
towels to flip-flops, you nameit, everything to make your uh
vacation at sea.
Did you just say flip-flops?
Yeah.
Is that a hashtag flip-flopFriday?

SPEAKER_01 (34:52):
It's your greatest day of the week.

SPEAKER_02 (34:54):
It is your hashtag, yes.
Flip-flop Friday.
Uh something that I know everyFriday you you have a post on
TikTok and uh and it's hashtagflip-flop Friday.
And Instagram and IG, yes.

And you can follow them there.
And YouTube.

Uh, but you're also gonna have athe video portion that we're

(35:17):
recording, and that's gonna beuh probably on our Facebook page
as well as the YouTube channel, and in addition to that, we're
gonna we're gonna uh have ourlittle tidbits, little takeaways
from each episode that we'regonna go ahead and repurpose uh

County, Florida, aka 321, thecountdown county.
It is absolutely amazing, andagain, faith-based streetwear
unlike ever and ever seenbefore.

SPEAKER_02 (36:01):
Yeah, no, no one no one's doing those things, uh,
cruise coach.
Um, and that that's what's greatabout kind of what we have going
on.
You know, we we we we'remulti-faceted, right?
Yes, sir.
So not only are we passionateabout where we live here on the
space coast, but also talkingabout the space coast and all
the cool things, plus what welove about cruising and in the

(36:23):
cruise industry and uh and alsouh faith, bringing people
together of faith.

that there is a captain, and uhand and by maritime law, they

You know, and it's so much youyou it's it's so so important,
right?
Yes, we're doing a podcast, butultimately we're serving the
vacation nation, right?
It's biblical.
What this this pod this podcastis biblical because all we want
to do is be there for ourclients, right?
Yes, it it's all great to get ona cruise ship, but if you don't

(37:42):
do it with your heart and mind, what are we doing, right?
So much in our society, unfortunately, is dark.
That's why sharing our light, sharing our purpose, the why has
to make sense.
Right.
And again, it is so much.
It's not about me, it's aboutwe, and it's not about us, it's
about him, right?
If we don't talk about the Lordon a podcast and we don't pray

(38:05):
out at the end of the podcast, this podcast isn't worth two
seconds.

SPEAKER_02 (38:11):
Well, that's definitely not what we uh have
been, you know, leading up andconspiring to provide for our
our our audio uh audience andthe vacation nation.
So after about uh almost 40minutes has lapsed, um, why
don't you lead us in uh in anice little goodbye uh prayer
and give us nice thought and uhand thank you so much for for

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
