Yeah, it's an incredible placeto be, especially with the
family history and them havingstarted Me Hands in downtown
Melbourne about 1961, butthey've been attached to
downtown Melbourne their entirelives and have buildings in
downtown and it's just been apart of who I am and how I've

And to land in this job hasbeen pretty amazing.
It kind of picked me.
I didn't pick it, but I'mpretty passionate about it.
I think I have some extrapassion inside of me to drive
through the hard parts butreally just want what's best for
downtown and our main focus isthe revitalization of downtown
Melbourne and just reallyhelping the community and

something going on all over theplace and some of the shops have
hired musicians to play withintheir businesses and, yeah,
we've got a lot of really coolstuff happening, and all the
stores will be open till atleast 8 o'clock, so Candlelight
Shopping is from 4 to 8.
Okay, and some of them and someof the nights has been so busy.
I know one of them had theirlast customer at 9.40 pm.

They're willing to stay openand help you.
You know, select that perfectgift for you too.
And then all the shops will beopen all the way through the
following Saturday, and, youknow, until right before
Christmas.
