Fall 1:
Det ryker från måltiden som serveras vid bordet. På menyn står Biff Wellington – en rätt så avancerad maträtt för en annars enkel lunch. Men det här är ingen vanlig dag, utan värdinnan har något väldigt viktigt att berätta. Men dagen slutar inte alls som någon har tänkt sig. För bara några timmar senare är tre av de fem personerna runt bordet döda.
Fall 2:
Det är en morgon som vilken annan när Maurizio Gucci promenerar till sitt kontor. Han hälsar glatt på portiern som står och sopar löv utanför byggnaden, när en smäll plötsligt ekar genom kvarteret. Och så en till. Pistolskott. Samtidigt som en bil gasar från platsen så faller Maurizio till marken – och dör snart av sina skador.
