(00:00):
We are squawking Dead a podcast pulverizing episodes beyond The
Walking Dead universe. Today we have a special tree for
you. Rachel and Charity hosted a
panel at the camps May 2023 event with none other than the
ladies of Fear The Walking Dead,or at least some of them.
Mo Collins aka Sarah Rabinowitz and Colby Mini Fe aka Virginia

(00:21):
or Ginny for short. I highly recommend you watch the
panel considering there are a lot of visual elements that I'll
be explaining to you along the way that are best seen rather
than me explaining it was a hilarious conversation and Colby
and Mo or basically wind up and go.
They're amazing, amazing participants and the love can be

(00:41):
felt all across the room. Everybody in the audience was
digging it at the time and I hope you dig it too.
So without further ado. A Podcast Pro Red episode of

(01:03):
Kings Red Reverse. This girl.
I mean, come on. Come on.
Right. Look at this.
You too. No.

(01:24):
You too. No, you too.
Oh, my God. Thanks so much for being here,
you guys. This is this is this is an
absolute pleasure. I am so honored and just
absolutely amazed to be here with you ladies right now.
This is it's it's a little surreal.
Yes. I'm not gonna lie.
Been looking forward to it for avery long time.
Very long time. Yes, I've been looking forward

(01:44):
to meeting you two in person forso long.
OK, let me just say these two beautiful women have been some
of the most supportive fans of all time.
I made this video for a my birthday and then B when

(02:05):
Virginia got spoiler killed off and I showed it.
I was there on my birthday when this video came in.
I was with my parents at the time and they were I I was like
and they were like. Yeah, I couldn't believe that

(02:29):
this thing that they had birthedhad then caused like people to
make this beautiful thing. For me, it was just so
beautiful. And to that it's.
I'd say thank you. We just love you so much.
It's very incredible. We love you guys.
Thank you. And you guys, when you return a

(02:50):
favor, you're so interactive andyou know you engage with us and.
Yeah. Engage with your fans.
And that's what. Yeah.
Yes. Well, we would not be anywhere
without you. Like, the show doesn't happen
unless people watch it and people like it.
Yeah. So thanks for giving us a job.
It's it's You guys would bring the characters to life, though,

(03:12):
you know what I mean? No one.
No one on the Facebook planet could have played your
characters the way you guys do. It is just incredible.
I agree with this. Yeah.
So in regards to you, both of us, both of us, I think we did
really well. Yeah, I'm even trying to say

(03:36):
that. Yes, with confidence.
It's very hard to. I wouldn't accept that.
You kidding me? You were so hard.
How about that first shot? You coming in on the horse?
Yeah, With 45 minutes of horse training.
I remember that. It was a knife.
You were terrified. And then you just did it, you

(03:56):
know? You fucking nail.
Yeah. Like to see her that, like,
'cause I knew how nervous she was about.
That's a lot. Like, first of all, you come in
through The Walking Dead big role.
You know you're the guest and it's like and we have it off
right away Sir and but I knew she was nervous on and then you

(04:19):
know there she is she's coming in all these horses and go go
and she's just up there just like doing the thing It was
eight and eight page scene and they had me loping in like
leading a a team of horses in and the horse was like they're
all these dead bodies and the horse the horse was like I don't
like it was like bending down there like well sad.

(04:43):
They were super freaked out by the the dead walkers.
Yeah. So that had they had to adjust.
So you were like, dude that you're doing you're having
hidden mark on it. Mom, we're so like one step back
and I'm like, OK, back up. This is your horse.
And then like 24 hours before I started that, they were like, so
we think she's like, you know, like a Western accent.

(05:06):
And I'm like, OK. Uh, Western.
I just pulled some more of them shit out of my ass and this is
somehow a thing. I know It's crazy.
Who's great? It was fucking fun.
It's beautifully. Oh my God.
Absolutely beautifully. Yes.
And Sarah too. I mean, I'm driving a fucking

(05:33):
trip. That was me and I hit my heart
in the goddamn step up. Yeah, with oil going, so is it
easier to control the semi or the horse there was, Yeah, I

(05:54):
think a semi is harder. You know, more gears.
So in that thing, you know, like, you know to stop a 18
Wheeler you need time. You know, horse can, kind of.
Pull back like you gotta there'syeah.
And the mramp. I drove the mramp.
What? Ohh.
Yeah. And they got terrified on the
time because I real they're likereally kicking in.

(06:19):
But like OK, OK. Oh my God.
And I had a long stretch of Rd. And and then, and I had to get a
mark. And by the way, you can't see
that mark, 'cause they then theyput a Bush on the mark.
And then I need to realize that there's hundreds of Bush out
here, this Bush, this Bush. Am I trying to land next to

(06:46):
hundreds of Bush, hundreds of Bush.
My Bush is terrified. But so and and then, you know,
yeah, so I I'm standing. If it's really the AMRAP, it's
like I'm tall. But that thing, it was tough.
And it's like, I'm kinda up and like like this, you know, just

(07:08):
like up. And holding on and and barely
down the road with the with by the way I don't know how many
eight actors sitting in the back.
Yo Ohh. Yeah.
How was these lives in your hands.
Yeah. I wonder how the insurance
policy was that day. And and they I got so and

(07:30):
they're like ohh. Oh, you you were really going
fast. Is that what you wanted?
Like, well, we we we we didn't think you'd be going that fast.
And it's like, well, you know what?
I didn't. I didn't get paid for any of
that driving. So yeah, that's a free them Will

(07:52):
Stump pay would have been oh, Jesus Christ.
Yeah, terrifying. But I didn't.
Yes, you did. Nobody died.
She didn't kill anybody. Guys.
And when you guys have questions, you want to make sure
you ask them. Question.

(08:14):
Question. We're supposed to ask questions.
Oh, no. We can keep talking.
Oh, someone has a question. Oh, yeah.
Artiste in the house. Speak of the.
Oh no, you can be loud. That's survivors to remember.
Linda Peck, Athens. You could reach at Ko Fi Comm

(08:34):
slash fan Art Lindy and she asksColby to ask Mo what her porn
name is. It's a little game that we
played during coffee with Colby for Colby to get quainted with
the participants, and now Mo gets to play the game too.
Ask her what her porn name is. Ohh OK so ohh yeah poor name is

(08:55):
1st St. you the no it's not. First pet followed by thank you
followed by the 1st St. the street you grew up on.
Ohh, let me see here. Uh, Hershey.
Emerson. Oh my God, what is that name?
Hershey. Wait, that's my corny name?
Yes. Nobody's going to my pole.

(09:16):
Especially if it's a Hershey. What are you squirting?
Hershey. Wow, that's unfortunate.
Yeah. Hershey.
Emerson. Hershey's Amerson.
My name is Alfred Buneman. Alfred Buggy in a Hershey

(09:37):
overseller. We have these guys.
Oh my gosh. Hershey Albert.
I like it. It was good.
Yeah, I'd watch that. That was that.
What kind of animal? A cat.
Now it's cute. Now we made it.
Weird. And her, she's dead, which we

(10:01):
went there. All right.
Yes. OK, I guess.
I guess I do have a question. I did write a few things down.
So we all remember the scene where Virginia has her lineup of
everyone there. And Sarah was in that scene and
it was, it was a little emotional at times.
And I mean, I think it, it got to me, definitely got to be a

(10:22):
little bit. So can you take us through that
scene a little bit? What was that like?
I was really nervous about that tape.
These was like 5 pages of me talking and then having to kind
of what's that called, Interrogate everybody.
And the thing that I remember was just having.

(10:44):
Trying to figure out different ways of intimidating people so
it's even kids do the same thingto each person and so I like
whisper hated somebody and but the thing that I do really
remember and I know you have there was some.
There was some stuff about, like, certain things that Ashley
Virginia was doing, Sorry, I wasn't doing for this moment.

(11:06):
Certain things that Virginia wasdoing that were like that.
Like other characters would be like, yeah, we're not going to
sit here and watch this happen. And I know you had a moment like
that of being like, like like Grace's baby is being attacked
right now. Like, I'm going to come out like
right now over and like, help this person.
And that was helpful to have everybody.

(11:26):
Be so true to their characters in that way.
But I remember that. The thing that I remember about
that day, I remember a few things.
One was that it was shot over the course of three nights,
which, you know, night shifts. It's like all night.
You start in the afternoon, you work all the way through the
night and there was still and there was so many gunshots and

(11:47):
so much, so many explosions thatlike, I remember the after three
days of that I was like, I feel like I've been through.
There's like your body doesn't know that shit's fake you know
so you're like this is like a loud it's gonna talk to you like
Oh my God and and the worst thing was that I.
Really. Horribly.
Karen. David.
I had to, like, throw her into acar and I had to, like, open

(12:11):
this door. Very Oh no, somebody else had to
open the door. And then I had to throw her head
first into this car. And I didn't know that the
camera wasn't on us at that time, which could have saved her
an injury because the door opened, but too forcefully and
then bounced back. And I hung directly into the

(12:31):
corner of this door. Right in the head I could have
seriously injured her and thankfully she was a really good
sport about it and and you know she got to take a break and like
replenish her brain because it was so horrible.
And I I'm like, you know, I've done stunts before and I

(12:53):
consider myself as a safe stunt.Participant And that was briefly
wrong. It was really horrible.
Horrible. But other than that, it was
great. I remember that you felt so bad.
I felt bad for you. But she was fine.
But no, that was that was actually when Karen, David and I

(13:15):
actually became very, very dear good friends.
We bonded during that time because we spent those 3.
Nights on our knees and you wantto talk.
The hardest thing I did and all my time on that show and I did a

(13:35):
lot of hard things. Do you want to know what the
hardest is? Being on your knees?
It was a 5 minute scene. It was really long scene.
It was really long scene and being up on your knees over and
over again. Our knees were so destroyed and

(13:58):
then we had to come back and do it again.
And I'm like that. That can't happen.
Like it literally. I just don't even know how.
I don't think I can get up on my.
And I wasn't the only one did they even get.
I don't think they even give youguys knee pads.
You did. It didn't matter.
It's about, The thing is, after that, while it's about weight
over jaws and this soft part of your knee, it just becomes.

(14:21):
Absolutely. I I it's just a swollen,
painful. And there it comes to a point
where you cannot be. Yeah.
And we're talking of your honor and knees.
I mean, this is 8 hours of that or so.
It was like, it was like 12 hours.
I blocked out. It was like 12 hours three
times. So 12 * 3 is so you know what?

(14:44):
And and I was so serious when I came back in the next day and I
said I'm like, I'm serious when I say to you.
Mikey Satrizi, misdirector, I said I can't get on my knees,
and I'm not the only one. It wasn't going to name other
names too, but I said I had to step up.
I'm an old fart and he says I can see from your eyes you're

(15:08):
serious. And I said, yes, I am serious.
Like there's acting, but then there's also, you know, there's
real torture and it's like this is just television.
Let's not break ourselves so theblocking in it was changed or or
because I'm like there comes a point like they never had to

(15:31):
show us on our knees again when they would cut to us.
If you if it was wider, you see Sarah, this was all I.
Come over and you know, basically to explain what's
about to happen right now. And you can always go back to
the scene where you can see thisfor yourself.
But Mo drops down to her knees, then slowly lays down on her

(15:53):
right side, sort of with her arms propped up and her face
looking down and her hair drapeddown over her face.
So you really can't see it. She's so happy to be in this
position, reliving that relief. I'm.
Like Karen. I'm coming over here.
I this is because I can't get onmy knees.
And so that's what was behind that choice.

(16:18):
Yeah. And I I know I'm you on your
knees anymore, so just let's come down here.
You feel this? It's better down here, isn't it?
So this is what we're gonna do. And Sandra's even saw my crazy
eyes, so he won't complain. But then we spent so much time

(16:42):
down here today when something showing and we just and we just
like and it's the middle of the night like we just we're down
here we just bonded down here like we totally it was so nice
because I could just be sweet toher and you know with your
pregnant belly and all that and those are hard nights but we

(17:03):
we'd be down here just like you might see a little.
And then I threw her into a car door and they really bonded.
And she was like, fuck that girl.
Yeah, man, that Colby bitch. No, I wouldn't wait.
But it really like it. It was sort of, I mean, yes, it

(17:25):
was absolutely a ceremony. You know, I I was feeling the
impetus for that anyway. Like I wanted to.
I was starting to kind of reach, but then I'm like, ohh, no, I'm
that's. That's actually my way of
getting off my knees, 'cause I was looking for a way to get off
my knees. Then there's a phase where it's

(17:51):
like, how do I get on my knees? You know rather that and not
back to how do I get off my knees?
Welcome to TMI with phone calls.Yeah, that needs to happen.
We'll subscribe. I would watch that.

(18:12):
Yeah. Just come to my stand up show.
That's all. So both Jenny and Sarah are
known for having very interesting vocabularies.
So what What were your favorite lines on the show?
My God, I have a really hard time with this.

(18:32):
Ever been and maybe you came up and asked for an autograph today
knows that I actually was Googling lines that Virginia
said because I can't. There was one.
Also, Virginia likes seeing herself talk.
She's like constant talking. And the thing that they really
like to do too is have a lot of alliterations.
There's one line that I had thatgot cut up thankfully because it

(18:53):
was like. This mother mew.
And men and men, although other men is clearly not one.
It's like all arms or something. And I remember like being like,
well, I guess this is what I'm saying now, but which was fun
for me. I mean, listen, this woman is a

(19:15):
character, so it was fun for me,but.
Gosh wait do you go first. I don't know.
I mean I I remember you know thethe scripted comment and it's
always like oh what's what's what's shit on.
I'm going to be this week you know like shit on a you know,
shit on the stick. It's really amazing what I did.

(19:37):
I I, I I don't, I don't know if I can remember the honestly like
one of one of my favorite y'all can probably help me out better
with this when I was talking to Jimbo up on the roof.
You are a, you are a I don't know that that whole shot that I
said to him before he ends up jumping brutal brutal show.

(20:06):
Who watches this. But I just remember loving
there's just the whole run. That I got is is a longer when
my video was happy because it was actually like a longer line
too. But it was such a beautifully
written description of it, and Ican't think of it right now, but

(20:28):
I I remember insulting, right? What's that been?
Very insulting. Like it was like beautifully
insulting. It was.
It was like it was something about a fart.
It was something about a fart. Yeah, it was.
And God knows I don't have a good fart.
So it was something about yours. But it was so intellectually
written. Like that's what I like the IT

(20:49):
was a philosophical fart. You are like a philosophical
fart that is good. You that.
That's my that's amazing that you know that.
Yeah. Thank you.
That was it. But that's all run in with
philosophical fart. It was so good.
I love that because it was like, smart.
So it got the little bit of bluecollar in there and like, it's

(21:13):
like, and I really do. I love a good start joke.
I'm not gonna lie. Yeah.
Well, that's my favorite lie. Yes, That's a good.
That's a good one. Yeah, it was a good one.
Yeah. I feel like.
Yeah, I think they're so the writing on the show is so fun
because they really just come upwith this shit that you're just
like cool. Like it's just it moves in a way

(21:36):
where you could just play withinit in a really lovely kind of
free. Especially if you're doing a
southern accent like fun way. Ohh no.
Is it the end? You gotta wrap it up.
No. Uh ohh.
What's that? Right.
Sorry. Huh.
You have to drag me off. Yeah, because this is a couch

(21:57):
that it's comfy. Well, we'll protect you.
This is from Mo. What?
I mean, how does that feel? I mean we have the final season
of The Walking Dead. I'm quite getting fresh and
noted because I watched it. You know, like show shaped the
social theory. If I should Fear The Walking
Dead the same way, it's gonna beover.
What is? I mean, how does that, how does
that people? Well, for some of us it ended a

(22:21):
little sooner. So I've already worked through
this and I will impart to you. It's always sad to see good, fun
things come to an end. But I am here to tell you now

(22:42):
there is life after fear. Thank you so much.
Yeah, I tend to go philosophical.
That's a philosophical that's a little bit a part for you.

(23:03):
And it's magically delicious. Do you any anymore audience
questions, Any last questions inthe audience?
I just have a comment. That's one of our friends
Hanukkah from Fandom Hybrid Podcast.
She provided some of the camera angles in the video version of
this podcast, which again, you can reach on our You Tube

(23:25):
channel to youtube.com/squawkingDead.
The link to that video should bein the description and you can
reach her podcast at fandomhybrid.com.
You know, when we're watching stories like this, we love
hearing like the back stories ofcharacters.
And I just wanted to tell you the dialogue about Sarah and
those background when you know the whole thing about her not
being able to breathe. That was one of the most

(23:46):
beautiful scenes I've ever seen off here.
And it was so well delivered. Beautiful, beautiful.
And I just wanted you to know that it showed me up all the
way. Here I go, I'm choke up, you
know? All I had to do was keep Windows

(24:06):
in my heart, shooting that wholething, you know, because Chill
and I, for real. The day we met, we became
brother and sister and we continued to call each other
brother and sister. It's just who we are.
And we've been waiting, right, To know what our story is.
So have we. Yes, ma'am, we have been

(24:28):
waiting. So, and that came through.
And you know, I contacted him right away to let him know, you
know, even though he wasn't in the episode when I'm like,
chill, chill. Like you kept me breathing, You
kept me breathing. And then I said to my brother,
chill, I said. And you, you do that still in

(24:50):
real life, like he, you know, and he did that all the time.
I can't talk. He does that, Like he just
really does that for me. He's so amazing.
And there were times like Chill and I, you know, we both come
from comedy and we got to know each other and we saw each other

(25:10):
go through hard things on the show and we we had each other's
hearts. And you know there's times when
he he he knew and only he knew that shit was going on with me
or something was going on with him and he just knew the right
words to say or a look or whatever and you know fuck up
could use it right now. You'd be like, well, welcome
man. But so that episode was really

(25:34):
cool because he was met with me for the entire thing, you know.
And he, he continues to give me breath.
I really felt it in there. So I really did.
Glad you did. Thanks.
And you just made me crush. Thanks a lot.
All righty, guys. This one's less of a question

(25:58):
and again more of a comment fromour dear friend and survivors
here. Member Takira, you can reach
akofi.com/connie Dixon for life. That's Connie Dixon, the number
for Lyfe. I just wanted to say that I'm
shaking so much toward being part of walking.

(26:21):
Please don't downplay from half board Virginia because I hated
her so much. What do we say?
What do we say? Hate the character.

(26:47):
And that's basically it. What you don't get in the audio
podcast that you will get if youdo watch it on our YouTube
channel is Mo and Colby dancing their asses off onto the stage
at the start of the panel. And everybody Mo, Colby, Rachel
and Sherry dancing off the stageat the end of the panel, which I
thought was a pretty cool and. Really lovely and entertaining

(27:10):
gesture. It's so great to see Mo and
Colby really be supportive of squawking dead.
But more to the point, Rachel and Sharon D they do so much for
the podcast and having them single handedly bring in Mo and
Colby to the camp and facilitatea panel.
I thank them so much and I thinkMo and Colby for being such

(27:32):
great, great panel guests as well and I hope to interview
them again in the future as we. Have Moe, I think actually twice
beforehand. There's two interviews up in our
podcast that you can listen to right now.
In any case, if you like what you've heard, head over to
ratethispodcast.com/walkingdead.Five stars and an eggplant is
all we need to know that you love us, but tell us what you
like to tell us what you didn't like.

(27:52):
Tell us what you think we might have.
Done better. But remember to tell us after
every episode and if you really like what we're doing, well,
there's only one thing you really need to do, and that's
either follow us for free on Ko Dash, Fi, Comm Slash, Walking
Dead, or patreon.com/walkingdead.
You don't have to tip us on Kofifor 30 days of support about

(28:12):
content, and you don't need to join a membership tier.
When you follow, you'll be on the inside track of what we're
up to. It's a nice little way to tell
us that you are enjoying what wedo and you want.
To be in the know of any cool things in the future.
And if you feel like doing any of those things, tipping us or
joining a membership tier, you're right there, ready and
waiting. Should you feel the urge to

(28:34):
support us, we've got another panel for you coming soon,
hopefully. And it's Bridget and I
moderating a panel with both Washington and Wells the
Reapers. That's Ethan McDowell and Robert
Hayes. And we still have our seven
favorite moments from Fear of The Walking Dead as well.
Stay tuned for that. But in the mean time, remember

(28:55):
we are squawking dead.
