(00:00):
We are squawking dead, a podcastpulverizing programs beyond The
Walking Dead universe. Sometimes we're giving you,
sometimes we make you laugh. Most times we go deep.
I'm your host, David Cameo, and we'll be joined soon by
hopefully Bridget, AKA Punky Brewster.
That's PUNKYBRUYSETER on both YouTube and on her Kofi account.
(00:23):
Hey, Michael, Lord Zachary, what's going on, guys?
Hey, Tess. Hey Jermaine, what's going on Oh
look at that I have the chat up here.
OK, that's great that's fine that's great.
I'm glad you guys are here we'regoing to talk about basically
the San Diego Comic Con 2025 hashtag Comic Con as they say.
Nobody's saying anything about this shirt, how it very closely
(00:44):
resembles my skin color. So it makes me think that it's
too close but anyway, thank you Tess.
I appreciate you wishing us welltoday because it's going to be a
little crazy. I'm going to switch over to our
news panel basically soon, but Iwanted to say hi to all of you
first. The panel should be starting in
about 10 minutes. I am busting into your work day
(01:04):
if you're on the East Coast, andI'm definitely busting into your
work day if you're on the West Coast.
And if you're somewhere in between, I don't know what your
deal is. It's like the coasts are like
the bread and to your credit, everything in between is the
meat. I hope you guys are having a
great day. I hope you guys are ready for
some great news and hope for hope.
You're ready to see what was described by Norman Reedus as
the sickest trailer for The Walking Dead Universe.
(01:26):
He said the sickest. I could pull it up right now.
He said the sickest fellas and ladies, I'm I'm glad you're here
with me because right now nobody's here with me.
And it's been a very long time since I've streamed alone.
It's been years actually, just so you know, which is the credit
of all the hosts that come alongwith us.
When you think about it, they would never leave.
(01:46):
They love you too much to leave me alone to speak to you on a
live stream. So Oh, hey, the frumley, what's
going on? Thank you for sharing the post
on X, which is what I'm going topull up in a second.
But Jermaine says I saw the postthat Lauren and JD might not
show up because of something. I don't know if you saw that
post. I don't know if it's true or
not. Anything is possible.
We have the same problem when people were saying Andy and deny
(02:09):
we're not going to show up at asit wasn't as it wasn't San Diego
Com con. I think it was actually wonder
con. It was more of a rumor and then
they ended up showing up anyway. So who knows, but the panel
should be starting in about 10 minutes.
OK, let me actually flip on overto our news panel for a second
because there's a couple things that are coming up right now.
(02:31):
Now, that means you're not goingto see yourselves, but I'm going
to continue seeing you in the chat.
I've seen a lot of Fallout news, though, coming across my desk, a
lot of Outlander news because I know that that panel just
completed right now. I'm Dia BIA at Mama BIA.
BIA says SDCC hasn't hit since the 9.
Andy did this, I fear. Listen, everybody's going to pin
(02:51):
you just like everybody's got, right?
But there are two people who can, OK.
Maybe they should just come out.It was some of the journals that
(03:17):
may hit may have spotted Andy. I think it was on the floor at
some point. Hope they show up.
I hope Bridget shows up. She'll be showing up soon.
Actually. She said she would come up
shortly afterwards. OK, we've got Sarah Beth Pollack
Singh. For anyone who hasn't been in
Holly to SDCC. They don't clear the room
between the panels. Once a panel ends, some people
leave and the rest start moving closer to the stage.
Then the new people come in. They also bring people in during
(03:39):
the panels if there's space and there is space.
Oh, that's interesting. This is for The Walking to Daryl
Dixon panel, and we kind of, I mention this every now and
again, but you know, the fan base is consolidating.
It's getting Hard Out Here, folks, You know what I'm saying?
When terms of The Walking Dead family and The Walking Dead
universe, that's OK. For the real ones, know what's
up. There's a lot of talk about if
(04:01):
you like the show Resident Alienon sci-fi.
I will not spoil a thing, but there's some news coming out of
there. I think that it's going to be
the last season. I think beyond that, I can't say
anything more than that. I don't watch the show, but I
don't want to spoil it for anybody else.
I know that that was announced or something.
There's a lot of spoilers or revival that I've seen today
because of their panel earlier this morning and I don't have,
(04:21):
unfortunately, I had to work like an animal today, so I don't
have any news that I can bring out of that.
Plus we haven't watched the latest episode.
So actually, so I swift thief onYouTube, you can stream not the
panels themselves, but if you wait until I think it's another
three hours, IGN is going to be streaming like a condensed
(04:44):
version of what happened throughout the day essentially
from Hall H that they're going to be piercing together.
It's going to be a big old live stream special.
I don't think it's streaming just yet, but I can share the
link to their coverage here. I have I actually have it in one
of our Discord channels, which by the way, you can join if you
happen to tip us and you'll get forever access.
And if you join a membership tier, you can have access to our
(05:04):
logistics channel, which tells you when we're going to be
recording. It's a very rare thing where
they actually in real time stream the panels.
Very few exceptions. I know New York Comic Con has
some sort of dealings with, but here's that link.
You can look through that and actually get whatever streaming
that they have going on and thatwill show up later, but it won't
stream those panels in real time.
It's going to be heavily edited and condensed and it'll
(05:26):
basically wrap up the news that came out of those panels,
hopefully showing you the, what do you call it?
Previews for those series, let'ssay, or teasers for those
series, whatever those series may be.
This is why we do this, by the way, I Swift Thief.
We can give you all the angles of the people that are currently
there right now tweeting about this live.
And then after the panel's done, sometimes they release clips
(05:46):
from the audience as well as photos during sometimes if
they're lucky enough to get service and and not prioritize
the incident. Now, now.
Oh hey, Brian. Brian's enrolling his daughter
in the next phase of horror. If you're interested in maybe
voting for his daughter, it's Brian Castrio 2 on X, and I
think it's BC Castrio on Instagram, so check him out.
(06:09):
His daughter's really cute grownup already.
Some revival news coming out. OK, here we go.
We're squirting in some retweetsright now.
Oh hey, look at this former radius at SDCC from a Brazilian
account. What's with the rollies?
Such good people. 2 minutes. Oh my God, Beezus World X it
says. It is a little sadding to hear
that Hall H is pretty empty all things considered.
(06:30):
You know, we've been doing this for quite a few years actually
live streaming the panels, no matter if it's New York Comic
Con, San Diego Comic Con, WonderCon.
I think those are the three major ones that we've done over
the years. And seeing that Hall H is now
like so empty right now is really upsetting.
You should be following Brandon Davis BD on X at the very least,
(06:51):
if not on Instagram. He's been following like a lot
of the DC, EU, Marvel properties, sometimes The
Walking Dead, etcetera. But yeah, he has this account.
Brandon Davis, BD and also phasehero at PHASEHERO.
OK, you're welcome. Swift thief IX.
Swift thief. AMC needs to bring all these
shows to 1 panel. Such a shame hearing how the
(07:13):
hall is empty. I got to tell you, in some
respects I'm surprised they evenget enough clout to do Hall H
when I mentioned Revival earlier.
Revival's a really good show on sci-fi, if you think about it.
That show, it's got a lot more levity.
It's not necessarily about zombies, but it is about people
that have been revived, let's say.
It's so much fun. It's so much more relaxed and
(07:34):
funny, but there still is a mystery component that's not too
serious. Just relax.
They have a panel in room 6 O six or something or something
like that. And I keep thinking to myself,
when is The Walking Dead going to be relegated to a smaller
panel room? And this may be the first year
that is an indicator that they might.
It's going to be a sad day for us as fans like in terms of
pride, but I can easily see the world in which The Walking Dead
(07:57):
ends up consolidating or at least The Walking Dead universe
into maybe several smaller panels across all the properties
and maybe hopefully with the same coverage.
But since there is less demand for that show, makes sense.
If this happens again in the next con and definitely in the
next San Diego, San Diego Comic Con, they will definitely be,
mark my words, they'll be putting them in a smaller room
(08:19):
the next the following year. But what's great about that,
obviously is that there's going to be a lot more intimate crowd.
They're going to be a little bitcrazier.
I have to imagine there's gonna be a lot more juice.
So there's like there's a silverlining to everything, I think a
lot of reposts of this photo, basically.
Thanks, Mel. When you see it post you like,
you should always heart it, you know what I'm saying?
It helps them. It helps you.
(08:40):
It increases you seeing the things that you want to.
And it's like creating a world you want to see, Right?
OK, so Sarah Beth Pollack actually follows up on her last
tweet about the hall being relatively empty.
She says the great thing about SCCC right now is that Hall H is
accessible to everyone for the most part.
I fully expect it to be full on Sunday for George Lucas's first
ever panel. But fans used to camp out
(09:01):
overnight to get in, so being able to walk in is nice.
Yeah. Silver Linings to be clear, SDCC
is just different when there used to be big shows, movies,
Hall H fills up. I truly believe that all of AMC
shows need to come together again for one panel at saying
exactly what you said. IX Swift thief.
They need to come together againfor one panel at SDCC.
Yeah, baby, let's do it. Mom and dad at SDCC.
(09:22):
Yeah, it is the power plant hat.I could see it right here.
That is from Beezus World X, probably from another account
because they're not retweeting it.
And of course, Jeffrey at T walking D world on X also on
Instagram, but not as active on there.
Jermaine asks, do you think Tao was the last time we'll see
Rick, or do you think there's any chance we'll see him again?
I have a theory that I only let people in on.
(09:44):
I think it was earlier this yearwhen we were talking about what
we'll be covering in the next several months.
This was right before we startedtalking about dark winds.
In that episode. I kind of went in at length of
what I think their plan is. And if you've been watching our
coverage of The Walking Dead, Dead City, I let people in on a
little bit what I was thinking the big overall plan might be
(10:06):
because the thing with The Walking Dead universe, Scott
Gimple and creating long term content is, and this is probably
for most properties based on shifting wins, it will determine
what direction they'll go. And sometimes that direction
will change at the drop of a hat.
I think Gimple wants to make good on that promise of creating
(10:26):
a movie or maybe a trilogy of movies that you can watch in
theaters, at least at first on an opening day thing and then
stream it on AMC Plus right afterwards.
So watch that coverage. Walking Dead dead City.
I kind of go into maybe who the big bad might be, which kind of
answers your question. I'm implying that the big bad or
New Babylon is a bigger entity than we take it for.
(10:46):
And if The Walking Dead, Dead City takes place after the
events of The Ones Who Live, Ergo Facto Sung, Rick and his
family are back together and maybe Rick is looking for Negan.
Maybe that's the whole reason why he got into trouble,
etcetera, etcetera. I'm just saying that maybe New
Babylon, Rick has some sort of play and mission, by the way,
have some sort of role in New Babylon.
(11:08):
And they look like the good guys.
They dress like the good guys, but they're definitely not the
good guys, at least according toDead City and at least according
to their methods. It feels like Rick realizes
maybe that oh, I can to Phil Carl's vision now.
And then as soon as you start grabbing it, it's hard to to let
go. OK, so we, we're the panel has
started 5 minutes and already. And of course, Bridget arrives
(11:31):
right on time as I'm about to cover the panels.
Hi everybody. I'm glad you're here, and also.
If you look to my left or your left of me, you'll see like a
little QR code. In case you're feeling
adventurous, you can actually tip us during the stream and
your message won't be read out loud because we're not on OBS.
But it'd be nice because we're doing a little service and
sometimes it's nice say thank you, but that's OK.
(11:53):
I saw me you guys shared the stream settings.
It's fine. It's.
Fine, that's a big enough deal. Yeah, it's a big enough deal and
I appreciate. You fixed it now, Dave.
Thank you. I.
Figured. OK, so T walking to the world,
says Jeffrey. The Season 3 trailer is being
shown in Hall H expected to be uploaded to the Internet anytime
now. They're playing House of the
Rising Sun in Spanish in the trailer.
(12:13):
That's Sarah Beth Pollock at Sarah Beth Pollock PLPOLLOC.
Josh Wiegler is hosting the panel.
Oh, wait, no. Is that Josh Wiegler?
That the guy that hosted the panel for The Walking Dead?
Dead City? Do you remember that?
OK, never mind. That's where it.
Wasn't there at. I will say, OK, this is the same
guy who we were really, really, I think it was Thomas and I were
(12:36):
really, really impressed with his the right amount of asking
the right questions, the right amount of fan geekness.
I remember his name was Josh. But if it is, it's fine.
He's one of us. He's one Josh Wiegler.
He's. One of us.
One of us. It's almost the Sabbath he and I
celebrate. It's fine.
He's 3 hours behind, so he gets more time to our friend Undead
walking FS. By the way, on X Think it's
(12:56):
still being run by Rene Sarah Beth Pollack, says David Zabel.
Regarding the aesthetic, it was exciting to reinvent the show by
going across the border to Spain.
It brings a whole new vibe with the people in the environment,
she says. Or he says.
She says he says. Well, Zabel says, but she relays
yes, yeah, Josh Wiggler hosting the panel today.
I guess Norman just linked to the key art to.
(13:19):
He said go to my Instagram. Go to my Instagram to see the
key art. Just don't watch it here, I hate
X. Be fair, he is very active on
Instagram. These this world is saying I
need the trailer. Yeah, Where's the trailer?
Says Castile. Folklore.
Is that not a supernatural account?
Yeah, of course it is. OK, Aaron's arm says the Season
3 trailer for T Double data is being shown in Holy Age, blah
(13:41):
blah blah. Yep, baby.
Yep. OK, David Zebra.
Where's that trailer? I love that everyone's like,
where is it? Well, enough trailer.
Well enough trailer. Sometimes I have to look here
too because this second column is like, it's not like a trend.
It's like a 4U feed, but it's like not necessarily always
people that I'm following. Oh, look at this new walking to
deluxe covers from SDCC. Oh, earlier today, I think it
(14:03):
was just yesterday actually. By David Finch and Dave Mccaid
Mccaig Oh yeah, Mccaig. Wait, look at this comment.
Who even reads comics anymore? Shut up.
I don't, but just stop judging people, geez.
Yeah, trailers on YouTube. OK, so lighten our thing, says.
Thank you, Swifty Thief. Showing the banner from Comic
Con. I figured you guys enjoy this.
(14:25):
Look at that. That's great.
Is it OK? Thanks.
I I swift thief. I appreciate the other face.
OK, the official trailer from according to TD Walking D world.
Let's put it up on the screen and let's.
Yeah, we're going to react to this in real time.
OK, I'm so ready. Here we go.
So where'd all the people go? Where did all the people go?
(14:46):
Yeah, I'm just putting on. OK.
Captions just in. Case.
Thank you. I can't.
I can't hear without reading. You're looking at him.
I'm here. You're looking at the last.
Englishman in England. I couldn't sell the boat alone.
I do like that actor. I'm excited that it's that guy.
Right. Stephen Merchant, by the way.
And it looks like they're sailing to Spain, I guess.
(15:10):
Oh, the London Bridge, look at that, look at that.
I've been there, actually. It's quite impressive.
This looks really cool. Thunder crashes Classic Daryl
Dixon in the rain, getting his third shower of the season.
We shipwrecked again? Yeah.
I was going to say, it's like a mirror.
For the first. All the time.
(15:30):
This isn't Maine, is it? Oh.
So OK. OK.
OK, everybody. Hi, Kira.
Oh, David. Oh, David.
Oh, David. So it looks like they were take
trying to take Stephen Merchant, whose name we don't know.
Maybe we do know, but I don't know right now.
Looks like they're trying to getback home to Maine.
Looks like you get trying to getit back home to Laurent and Ash,
(15:52):
right? And all those other people.
Everybody else, whoever, where's.
Red. By the way, so this is like the
House of the Rising Sun, OK? Well, yes, welcome to Salaz Del
Mar. By the way, just so you know, I
have to stop this frequently so we don't get dinged, OK?
OK bro don't I know it OK story in my.
(16:15):
YouTube. We need to protect my people.
We need. To protect my people that was
under constant shift. The The town offers up one of
your daughters. In return, you get a truck full
(16:37):
of Gaunt. They call IT security.
I call it extortion. That guy, I cannot wait to see
him. What's his name?
Not Nicaragua. Wow.
Dave Noriega. OK, well, because Noriega was
the dictator. Dictator of Nicaragua anyway.
Manuel Noriega. But that's not his name.
I was fighting everyone's fights.
(16:58):
I just think we should get back on.
Can't just do nothing. Where's that convoy go next?
Barcelona? Go to map.
(17:19):
I I hope he lasts a while. Stephen Merchant.
It's like one of those things where like, why brings such a
powerhouse? OK, look at this pause right
here. What a.
Place to pause. It's a Walker fireball alert.
It looks, yeah, yeah, yeah. OK, let's back up because I
(17:41):
heard Carol say something but I don't I don't have it in my
tears. Incoming.
That's the subtitles. Go ahead of the oh, oh, oh,
wait. Wait, Wait, wait, wait, wait,
(18:01):
wait, wait, wait, wait. First of all, these Barbarians,
what's this guy? What is that?
Cookie, I don't know. Why are his eyes gone?
Yeah. We gotta kill the next King of
(18:22):
Spain. Did you survive?
What happened to you? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Wait, was Carol kissing? Somewhat.
Wait a second, the kids are going to lose their minds.
So wait, look at this mask that I guess it's Darrell because
it's his eyes. You can tell.
It's just Oh, yeah. We've seen this photo before
though. Yes, Noriega, but look at her
face. See, This is why the Carols
aren't going to go crazy. He's like, I'm not impressed.
(18:44):
What, because he's burned? No, look at her face.
Like I was like, that's really offensive.
I see that's your offensive for thinking that I was being
offensive to me. Can't get over this mask, just
it's. So creepy.
These are walkers in costume as puppets.
As marionettes. Yes, is wild.
See the framing is going to go like pretty rapidly from here.
(19:05):
OK, OK, yeah. Wait, what does that say?
Pueblo Pueblo Viejo de Belshite Yanote.
It's like this is a lot like theAlexandra Wall in a way.
These are last names like Alice Yanote Yano.
Oh, wait. Never mind.
Las Hotas. Yeah, I don't know, Dave.
But anyway, hey, not an unattractive man, huh?
(19:28):
Wait, why are you saying Anne? Connie?
Answer me now, Kira. Answer me right.
You know what she's saying. Oh, wait.
OK, wait. So this guy, apparently the
attractive man with the axe, is now jousting or shotgun?
Jousting, Daryl. Right now.
Yeah. Let's put shotgun.
Let's play that out. Sawed off.
Yeah, Yeah. That was.
(19:54):
What shotguns? It's like redneck jousting.
Yes, I know it well. Do you Do you know it well?
I mean, we do a bottle rockets, but sure, yeah.
Good point, good point. This is like echoing what Isabel
said. Bet on hope.
I know that that was said in oneof the teaser trailers too.
(20:16):
Which is great because one of the bigger things I did not want
the show to forget is her and how they set her up so well in
the first season and felt like in some ways it was kind of
discarding her and brought her back in the last episode.
Blah blah blah whatever, fine. So I'm over it.
I don't. I get excited for, I like Daryl
Dixon. I think the show is really good.
So I'm excited for the next season and it's coming so soon,
(20:40):
so here's September. Here's what I'm going to do with
Sarah Beth. I'm going to just scroll through
her feet first so that if this is Sarah Beth, the S can't say
it. B ish OK, Hustling is OK
Aesthetic. OK, we talked about the
aesthetics. I'm going to move on here.
David Sable says the show is meant to be a roadshow quote UN
quote, with characters compelledto keep moving.
So Mad Max with zombies? Essentially, Gimple says that
(21:02):
they used to reinvent TWD every eight episodes and now they can
cross borders to do that from France to Spain.
Well, I guess isn't there like ahop over in Oh because the
channel goes from France to England, so then they have to do
that hop over to Spain from there, I guess in the attempt to
head to Maine, which obviously did not work.
It's a lot like. Maine in Spain.
(21:24):
There you go. Wow, nice catch.
Also a lot like Jelco Dodge Jelco the Croat AKA mile from
The Walking Dead, Dead city trying to get back home but the
storm brings them back to Spain.Sarah Beth also says by the way,
Sarah Beth Pollock, you can get to SARABETHPOLLOCK on X.
You should follow her. She does a lot of things, but I
(21:45):
really respect her coverage of The Walking Dead.
She's on it. Norman says Daryl is pretty
effed up at the end of season 2 after losing Isabel.
Thank you, yes. I mean, I hate that for him, but
I love that for us and having Carol there and everything that
happened. Losing her brings him to the
realization that he has been running for for a long time to
Melissa now that she found Darylis the priority getting home
(22:06):
question mark Melissa Mcgride says Carol is having a little
vacay quote UN quote and of course it's a priority get home.
End Quote. David Zabel says they are
propelled immediately into new conflicts and stories in episode
1. Similar to S1, they come across
circumstances of characters thatcould be useful to them, but it
isn't easy like Stephen Merchantcharacters that are useful to
Gimple adds that Carol and Darylhave some funny moments with
(22:29):
Stephen Merchant Episode 1. Thank you.
For the love of God, thank you, Norman calls him endearing and
intelligent. Notice he only said episode 1
though, yeah. I don't see him in any of those.
Spain. By Stephen.
King of Spain kills him, which Ithink is Noriega by the way,
which judging by the dominant pose he has on Carol, like
(22:49):
trying to kiss her or whatever, and she's like, no, I love
Daryl. I hate you.
I hate me too. It's fine.
Just teasing all you carolers. It's fine.
Norman calls him during intelligence, surprising when he
isn't trying to be funny. David Sable says there's room
for humor in episode 1. OK, so Nicotero noted that I'm
translating her fast written text.
(23:10):
Noted that it is a welcome change to have UK new parent
European actors and fans. Norman says they showed an early
version of the premiere to the crew and they loved it.
David Sable says the crew appreciated the authenticity.
Oh, OK, cool. That's like a thumbs up from the
saying, yeah, you guys did good here.
There's a Romeo and Juliet themethis this season, Carol.
(23:31):
Anyway, God, David Zabel says there are two young people in
love whose families are enemies.I was just like, well, isn't
that more Italian, right? The Montagues and the Capulets.
It's a trigger for other stories.
But a larger issue is the attempt to still have love in
the apocalypse. OK, this is something we did
talk about in Season 2, about what they may be slow burn
staging for people. Some McBride says Carol is
(23:54):
learning Spanish. David Zabel says she's quote UN
quote tasting the local wine. Oh, snap.
She's. Getting freaky with that dude.
Zabel Zabel basically said Carolactually Melissa McBride say
lash Melissa McBride says she's very up in the grill with the
soft spoken Antonio in the so OK, so she is not she is.
(24:16):
It's not that she's not she's like, she's like, if I'm a
little standoffish, maybe he'll want me more.
Carol says David Sabel says there are a few sources of evil.
The guys on the beach with the torches called primitivos.
So the primitives, right, who are nihilists who weaponize
zombies upon the community wherethe where Carol and Daryl stay,
(24:37):
quote UN quote. David Sabel says they're a nasty
bunch. There is also a rising royal
movement in Spain. So the King of Spain, etcetera,
etcetera. These are all from Sarah Beth
Pollock, by the way. Victoria Tara talks about
leaning into the Spanish culture.
Great. We love that in season 1 for the
most part, he mentions a giant cap catapult.
I was going to read a Capulet. Giant Capulet.
What catapult? That's what we saw flingy
(24:59):
flaming zombies into the town, which is what we saw incoming.
Carol says incoming and that ball of zombies hits that
Volkswagen passenger van. You get a glimpse of Spanish
conquistadors. We're always trying to push the
envelope, quote UN quote from Nicotero.
This is cool from Carol's knife.I love Carol's knife photo when
we're doing these breakdown. I don't know why like we found
them two years ago and like eversince I saw Carol's like this is
(25:20):
so funny. The locations this season are
amazing. So these are these are screen
gaps basically from the trailer. This is like Daryl on the
motorcycle in The Walking Dead leading the horde of zombies
down the Alexandria streets, buthe's on horseback leading
through the canals or the the train tracks.
That's a great callback imagery smart.
This is again, Sarah Beth Pollack.
Nick Tower jokes about long timefans working on the show in
Spain who asked for autographs between takes.
(25:42):
He says it's great. I think it's great too.
You should too. OK, Kira says.
Oh, hey, hey, you do it. Calm down.
Calm. Down, not calm I.
Have one job, Kira said. They asked Norman this following
question. Daryl ended the season after
losing Isabel, then watching Laurent fly away.
(26:02):
How is Daryl feeling emotionally?
That's where that answer that he's pretty effed up.
I see. Thank you.
SO. That's the exact question, so.
Thank you. Oh whoa.
I just want to read this to Melissa now that she found
Daryl. Is the priority getting home?
As far as Carol's having a little vacant, of course it's
priority to get home. Haha.
She deserves it. Cassio.
I thought it was going to be like nasty like I did too.
I was like, oh God, she deservesA vacay.
(26:26):
God I hate her. Let's see what this says.
OK. That's not helpful.
What do you mean? We've got some video from Undead
Walking FS, probably Renee, maybe somebody else.
OK Mills Surpride talks about Carol getting some rest and
relaxation on the beach on The Walking to Darryl in season 3
Laughing MoJ. Well, looking around, you know,
it's really beautiful over there.
I don't. Know that's high on the.
(26:47):
Priority list. Just take a little time.
Take some time off of a vacay, never been to Europe before, and
then we'll worry about that. Yeah.
She's getting some R&R in Spain,hopefully.
That's just laying on the beach.I wasn't there so it could be.
Fun where? It's just not being.
(27:08):
You should listen. To.
Hanging out, I think it's going to be a really good one.
Everyone I went to with you was Dalton.
Dalton. That this world from this image
from Getty Images too. Look at she.
She looks fantastic. She says mother.
She always does. Sarah Beth Pollock says Norman
Norman and says Daryl and Carol rely on each other, each mother,
(27:29):
each mother each other more. They're having different life
experiences. She came to France to be with
him and it didn't feel real. They have a great chemistry on
camera because they are great off camera.
What does that mean? It means they're like in love in
real life. It means they're friends.
Dave, chill out. No.
OK, get over it. So many scenes of them together.
I'm so happy. This is Carol's knife.
I am also happy that these best friends are reunited.
(27:52):
Yeah, yeah, best friends. I'm gonna make my political
stance on this very clear. Sarah back Paul says Milsim Bry
always says always shows up for Norman and Daryl and it's the
gift that keeps on giving. Oh that's cute.
Sarah Pollack is bringing it. I love the quote.
I know how people tweet this fast personally.
When you got nothing to do, man.I mean, I'm saying we have a
(28:13):
lots to do, but yeah, we. It's OK.
The big one we're waiting for. We saw the trailer.
That's cool. Thank you.
One dead walking. Not much coming out of this
panel, but let's look at this baby girl probably.
Look at her, she's so cute I have to say, and I noticed this
when we saw her in person the last time.
Her accessory are always top notch shows as like the best
jewelry. Yeah, you can never falter for
(28:34):
art sense. Yeah, I know.
You know what? She reminds me of Dave.
It's like a high school art teacher.
It's like the vibe that her, like, jewelry style gives to me.
It's like in the best possible way.
This is more from Carol's knife, them smiling, being happy,
talking about the show's everything to me.
I wonder if Carol's knife is actually there.
I hope they are. Me too because I hate the idea
(28:54):
that no, but somebody's not getting credited for those
photos. I just meant like, I hope that
they get that because. That's oh, yeah.
No, I, we always try to credit the people where we're getting
the news from. I just that breeds such a better
ecosystem. Yes, it does.
I've always felt wait, wait, wait, don't tell me that Norma
Reedus is going to be in New York Comic Con this year.
That means I get my chance to meet him.
(29:16):
My Shayla crush bike get call itcelebrity crush.
This is from. Daryl, say right.
You didn't say right, Dave. I don't.
Know man. My Shayla.
What is that? My Shayla.
Where's that from? Yeah.
It's a tick tock thing. I can't remember his name, but
he's talking about his daughter. He's like my Shayla.
Shayla. Daryl Dixon fav 12 on X.
(29:36):
This is all from X by the way, so this way I don't have to say
it again, OK? Please stop saying X Dave.
It's X. According to multiple sources,
Norman Reese is connected to NewYork Comic Con in October 2025.
NYCC's scheduled for October 9ththrough 12th.
Well. We won't be there.
At the Javits, I'll live here. The maybe I yeah, because we got
refused and we got declined. We were politely and abruptly
(30:00):
declined. He is listed as a guest
alongside a large number of other celebrities, including
actors from Marvel properties and The Walking Dead universe,
comic creators and literary authors.
It's important to note that guest appearances can sometimes
be subject to change if it was up to date information.
Always best to check the official NYCC website.
It's interesting. That's a very interesting tweet
that we just got here. The people's Princess.
Oh, that's right, from Jesus, Sarah Beth Pollack says on The
(30:25):
Walking Dead's upcoming 15th anniversary.
Nick Taro says coming to the first SDCC.
They flew into SD and squawking dead.
Squawking dead. No San Diego and jumped into the
ocean. Chandler almost got swept away.
Oh my God, Melissa McBride squeals.
The fan energy motivated them tokeep going. 15 years in the
amazing cast is this is a tribute Norman says they would
(30:48):
charge a lot of money to Andy's room back then because Jerry
says Andy would would still share his room number anyway.
Sucker Norman laughs Thanks Sarah Beth thanks Forest day
from forest day is on terrorist St. who by the way I think
forest day has a has a YouTube channel as well for the a very
long time. It's way bigger than ours
(31:09):
deservedly so nice guy too speakto Daryl's emotion.
OK, it's like. Dave had resentment and then
immediately regretted it. He was like, never mind, super
nice guy, take it back. That's how we talk.
This is from Noir under score. Nerdy Kira.
Hi. Daryl had lost Isabel.
He had watched Laurent go on theplane to hopefully get back to
his people in America when we pick up in Season 3.
(31:32):
Where's he at emotionally right now?
He's pretty fucked up, you know the thanks.
Kira. Having Carol with him I think
helps him a lot. You know, there's sort of a
theme that goes through towards the end of the show about why
and where and how come. You know, there's a lot of
(31:56):
running, a lot of fighting. Maybe there's a better way to
live. So that's sort of introduced
there. And I think part of the Isabel
conflict with him is him coming to these realizations that, you
know, you've been running and fighting for a long time.
So we sort of structured the show in a way where different
(32:19):
people's journeys sort of fill that gap in their mind, you
know, so. That was.
Thank you for that. Yeah, Noir under score.
Nerdy. And also tell Joy excellent work
on the the non vertical footage.Yeah, because I know Dave
appreciates. That's a real one right there.
That is, that is good work. That's quality journalism.
(32:41):
I do have a question, Kira, if you can ask Joy when she has a
second, is the room packed or isit not?
Packed. Not so much.
I'm just, I'm really curious. I'm really, really curious.
This is from Bam Smack Pow, which undead walking retweeted
Mosley McBride learning Spanish.I figured we'd get more of like
a full answer. Obviously, Carol is learning
(33:04):
Spanish. Oh.
She's she's tasting the local wine.
I think so that that someone said puts puts a better.
I think someone said local tequila, some tequila.
(33:24):
That's what it's trying local tequila.
OK, yes. That the actor is Eduardo
Noriega. Incredibly talented, total dark,
handsome, lovely to work with, very professional and.
You should know by the way I looked up his CV Eduardo
Noriega. He's in a bunch of like zombie
(33:46):
esque sci-fi B movie sort of situations.
B for us probably, but not for Spain.
He's not unfamiliar with the genres.
Basically my my point. Manu Gonzalez says explore more
about TWDUII may there's always more to.
Do breathing right now, Dave. And Kira says.
(34:07):
It's Twitter. I know she says it's
disrespectfully empty. Oh, I didn't get that yet.
I didn't get it yet. It wasn't on because I had the
pop out. OK, let me do the thing.
Spanish teacher. Very good Spanish.
I'm sad that it's different thatway.
Carol Carol's also a little nearside shows.
I mean, she can't see too well close up, right?
(34:27):
I don't know. She can't.
Anyway, she's got to get super up in the grill.
She gets all like and. He's very soft spoken as well.
He plays a character, his name is Antonio and he is very,
Carol's very curious about him and he's very soft spoken, so
(34:49):
she has to get up in his face tohear what he's saying.
And that you know from his mouth.
I have to put my mouth on his mouth to like to hear him.
Probably very curious. About him and he's very soft
spoken so she has to get up in his face to hear what he's
saying in that particular scene.Thanks.
(35:14):
Bam. Smack Pow.
Bam, smack, pow wait. Oh, they posted it.
Yeah, that's that's that's what was referring.
To it sounded like just as you were saying it out loud and I'm
like, OK. No, that's an actual outlet.
So at B AM SMACK and POW is the account you should be following.
I think we are following them too.
You. I was following you.
(35:34):
Liar. Same thing, I had to refollow
Kevanshi. I should shout them out because
she was in the chat when we weretalking about revival.
Her account is the so there's that podcast.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We should follow her, we should
follow her. She's great.
She's the one I recommend recommend you speak to about
found until it got cancelled, but like she was covering it
too. So right, but there's you guys
(35:55):
have some good crossover. So I figured Sarah Beth says,
David Zabel says the mask that Norman's wearing, the one that
was commenting on earlier, are part of cultural traditions in
Spain. Same with the puppet walkers.
Nicotero was was a skeptic of the puppet walkers, but he ended
up loving it. Well, dude, you were involved in
the whole the whole the band. Kind of your whole thing, you're
like, what? I don't want to do this again.
Well, do you remember the dude in France and the was it the
(36:17):
first season or is it the secondseason where the guy was
controlling the Yeah. But that was first season if if
I'm not mistaken. Whoa.
Nikito has a new show called Guts and Glory, a horror
competition reality show. Didn't we talk about that?
No, we were talking about sci-fi.
Face off. Right.
And then they had a subsequent show or something.
(36:38):
Like that, yes, but it was not guts and glory.
So I don't know what, I don't know what that's on.
Well, I guess it's on AMC probably, I guess.
I made this up, can't find anything about it.
Yeah, Gimple says all the TWD cast.
Christian Serratos would be the winner of the TWD Survivor.
Wait, what if there was a Survivor reality show of the
TWD? I was like she literally died
bro. No Cerratus is very much alive
(37:02):
and only his just now started a TikTok account and so how about
that? Should check her out.
So this is all Sarah Bethpock again.
New season of ride with Norman Reedus, Moses McBride, Gimple in
a race car. If I had to pay money to see
that, I would see that. He looks like Dick Dastardly.
I'm sure that's Motley, Dave. That's mutley.
(37:23):
I would happily be his mutley. Black pearls, mines, MC Kim
Coates, hashtag Dead City and more basically.
So that's cool. Kim Coates is gonna be on the
ride. Also, is hashtag Daryl Dixon
season 4 happening? DZ's it.
We announced that it was already.
It's in Greenland. Yeah, a month or two ago.
Easy says it's in production with eight episodes to complete.
8 episodes, not 6. David Zabel says it's in
(37:45):
production with eight episodes to complete Daryl and Carol's
adventure in Spain, and also thelast iteration of the show, so
4th and final season. OK.
After that, who knows? After that is the giant
crossover that was supposed to happen.
I actually spoke about this earlier because Laurent, it's
not Laurent. Wow, Jermaine Laurent, no
(38:06):
connection, no linguistic connection.
But anyway, Jermaine asked whether we'll see Andy again on
which show, how, And I kind of went into some theories I had
when we're watching Dead City about what they could do.
I mentioned. I sprinkled it throughout at our
Dead City watch. OK, so Norma Rias thanks fans
for loyal fanbase for Four Seasons of the show.
(38:27):
It's bittersweet quote, UN quoteto end it, but it's gotten
better and better and it's been great working with this one.
Melissa McBride in particular. So McBride says there's still a
lot of story to tell, but they're excited about Season 3
from Sarah Beth Pollack. It's been a while since I've
talked to Free from the Cocoon, so it's FFT cocoon on X.
Kyra's just letting us know thatwe played the most recent one
from. Nick Norman.
(38:48):
Nora Nerdy. Nick and Norman.
We already played it, but I did think Nick and Norman's when I
first. Arrived I know it was it's
unavoidable so she says hashtag ride with McBride, which I I
love 2.0 yes, let's play all of Noir and Nerdy's Hall H videos.
Co runner and executive producerDavid Zabel.
Thank you, Carol. Executive Producer * Melissa
(39:14):
McBride. Executive producer and director
Greg Nicotero. Big ups to noir under score
nerdy. Daryl, it's executive producer,
(39:36):
great star Norman. Check out this guy's style.
He's just got the right amount of geek, right amount of
Deborah. All right.
Let me read the caption of this first.
Melissa speaking about Carol possibly getting a little cozy.
(39:57):
For you, is that determination now that she's found Darryl, is
that determination to get home? Is that still sort of her
guiding light here as we enter Season 3?
Well, looking around, you know, it's really beautiful over
there. I don't know if that's that's
high on the priority. List.
Just take a little time, take some time off off of AK.
She's never been to Europe before and then we'll worry
(40:20):
about. That yeah, she gets an R&R in
Spain, hopefully. Yeah, she saw her laying on the
beach. The beach episode's going to be
fun, where it's just sun dating,it's just hanging out.
I think it's going to be a really good one.
Yeah, we got the ball rolling inFrance, but David took the ball
and ran with it. Quote.
Let's see here. Was that always the plan to kind
(40:40):
of move us from country to country?
We got the ball rolling in France, but David took the ball
and ran with it to Spain. Well, as part of it was because
by nature, the show wants to be a roadshow, right?
These two characters are trying to get somewhere, so they're not
going to just stagnate and stay in one place.
So we told the story over the course of two seasons in France
(41:03):
that we felt like we had really fully realized that it it felt
like they wanted to propel forward.
So Daryl and Carol at the end ofSeason 2 are headed someplace
else. And before they get to Spain,
they make a stop somewhere else and somewhere else.
But it really came out of that idea that like characters who
are on the road trying to get home, trying to get home, and
they keep getting drawn into stories in other environments
(41:26):
that that compel them while they're trying to serve their
own desire to see their the people they love again.
And the the landscape, the tone,it, it's a reinvention.
Back in the day, we used to reinvent the show every eight
episodes. That's what David and his team
did here. And being in Spain and seeing
these locations, it takes your breath away that the things that
(41:50):
you got story wise from Spain, history and also a bit of a
Western element, it's right. It's fantastic.
And that was a big, one of the things that was a big deal in
France. We really leaned into sort of
World War 2 history and World War 2 films about France and,
and art films. And here we lean into the
spaghetti Western, a lot of which were made in Spain and,
(42:10):
and, and so a lot of the storytelling evolved out of
thinking about the, the, the world of Spain and also the
kinds of, of, of stories that have been told in that
environment. It's kind of a nod.
To Norman when we left. Old horror, you know, from like
the 80s. A lot of horror movies were
filmed in Spain at the time, specifically when it came to
(42:31):
like zombie genre. Yeah, and even that borrows from
when they see spaghetti Westerns.
Like that was like the road map of what you could push out on
mass, what people will respond to.
I figured out why I thought thathe hadn't been a part of season
1 and I don't know why I assumedit was a sickness, but it wasn't
it. He was around, he collaborated,
(42:51):
but they were very careful to use the term collaborate instead
of like full production because they wrapped Walking Dead and
then he went straight into Creepshow Season 4 and then he
had to relocate and move to Paris.
So in all of that time he was around.
But where did I think that he wasn't as involved?
(43:13):
But I remember it was from the panel that we saw at the
premiere preview thing that theyhad mentioned that he was around
being like he was there to collaborate.
It wasn't like the same. So that's where that came from.
So I apologize for the sick thing.
I don't know where that came from, but that's where I got
that from. I'm like I didn't just make this
information up, although I do dream some weird dreams.
Speaking of dreams, the way theydescribe Darrell wanting to get
(43:35):
home to their people, but like also finding themselves in
situations that they feel like they can't get out of, they have
to help people, etcetera, etcetera.
Isn't that like a dream? In a dream, you're like trying
to reach something that you never end up getting to.
Because your brain constantly being sidetracked.
I used to have those like nightmares about like getting to
work on time. Right.
Or reaching your parents. Or like going to school or yeah.
(43:56):
Very much. But like everything gets in your
path to kind of get in your way.You have like 2 things at play
here like extemporaneous thoughtthing that is working against
your goal oriented thinking and like by the time your dream is
over you're like you never reachthe thing or you reach the thing
but ended up not being the thing.
Yeah, Kira asked. Does it seem like quote the last
(44:18):
iteration iteration of the show?End Quote is careful wording.
It is who said it, Gimple. It was, yeah, I think was
GIMPLE. Yeah, OK.
Cuz Gimple is like a mastermind genius when it comes to the way
that he words things. Although AMC themselves will
definitely spoil something before if they're supposed to.
(44:38):
Yeah, I think it's interesting to say the last iteration of
this show, but I wonder if that means that it's again.
Are we crossing over? Well, I mean, last iteration of
the show just means that no moreshow called The Walking to Daryl
Dixon, now could they? Yeah, offshoot to another show
called The Walking Dead, Darrell.
(44:59):
Dixon loves Carol now Dixon. It's like, it's like a take on I
Love Lucy, I love Carol. Like definitive.
But yeah, exactly. It's Darrell loves Darrell loves
Carol. Happy days.
That was dumb. OK fan question what will Norma
Riaz miss about playing Daryl? Norma Riaz says he put so much
(45:20):
time into the character but to be on screenplaying one role is
so rare. He cares about it so
tremendously quote UN quote. But there is a lot more to go
also quote UN quote. And who knows what will happen
after that. Like the ballerina if.
You think about it, playing these characters for so many
years is extremely rare. That your show goes on this
long, let alone branches off into other properties is crazy.
(45:42):
Second leg. Isaiah says Gerald Dickson
season 4 will be the final season and we'll have 8
episodes. Yep that has been confirmed and
says exactly that's what I was getting at.
It will be quote Daryl goes to find Laurent and Connie and
Kelly and. But Connie is with Frankie.
Dude from Frankie Quinones. Ghani's dating that dude in The
(46:06):
Ones Who Live. Yeah.
What's his name though? I don't remember.
His name on the show, I forget his name, but like Frankie
Kenyos is a great comedian. Sarah Beth says Daryl Dixon will
end in Season 4. But the cast and crew are
hedging about whether it's OK, so this is going to go to all
your points or hedging about whether it's officially done or
if it's if it just changes. I'm hoping this means the story
continues with everyone back home.
Aren't we all fan asks Melissa McBride and Norman Rius which
(46:29):
characters they would want to be.
Melissa McBride says it used to be Michonne for but for a day
now it's Daryl like this. Like Brian wants to be Daryl who
doesn't want to be Daryl. Norm Ray says Eugene would be
fun making dark as S ish. Ozzy Negan cosplayer asks about
putting action scenes together. Very constructed.
(46:52):
Gimple says you want the scene to have a purpose, but then
there is a Buster. Man, I've been trying to
remember this guy's name foreverbecause Buster.
Yeah, Evelyn. And I've been watching like
these old turn of the 20th century black and white film
silent films. All you had to tell me, Dave,
was the potatoes on the forks and I would have been like
Buster Keaton. Yeah, you can watch them all.
(47:13):
And by the way, HBO Max. But I was like racking my brain,
like, what is his name? And Buster Keaton is the king of
all this anyway, he says. But then there is a Buster
Keaton quality, trying to do something different.
And there's an element of comedythat's unique and different.
Cool. I love that for us.
Oh, Isaiah season 3 will probably be bad.
I hope not. I hope it's not bad.
(47:35):
I mean if you're making a commentary in season 2.
Remember, Remember well one. I don't.
I don't. Agree it Kim Coates made the
whole season 2. This is what I just have been
telling everyone, OK? You're not some lighting, by the
way. Know what you haven't commented
on? How well it is.
It is. You're very well lit.
This is, I've been, I have been saying this for a couple months.
Kira can verify because this is my philosophy and I've told her
(47:57):
this as well, but I want every show to do well.
It's not because I care about characters more than another
one. It's just that if one of these
shows does poorly, we're going to lose this property.
You weren't there, Bridget, but I mentioned earlier that Hall H
was kind of relatively empty according to many people,
notably Sarah Beth Pollack. And then Kara falls up with Joy.
I had mentioned also like, OK, if we get another one of these
(48:20):
in New York Comic Con or San Diego Comic Con, otherwise like
semi empty Hall HS, let's say like revival, they may just be
shoved into a small room. Now the silver lining will be
it's a lot more intimate, they could be a lot more forthcoming,
etcetera. But at the end of the day, it
would suck initially at the veryleast.
But you know, life goes on, everything moves on, there'll be
another. Show that'll be good, but
(48:41):
probably not ever as good. Kirsten, I wish from did Comic
Con and that would be fun, but what are they going to say?
What are they going to say? You'll have questions like, what
are they going to say to you here?
I don't even know. You're going to have more.
Questions. We make this up every season.
Who knows where we're going? I don't know.
Do you? No.
We spent a roulette wheel. Isaiah says do you think Rick
(49:04):
will still kill Negan? I do not.
And my answer to that is it would be disrespectful to the
memory of Carl if he did. I think if he had to because
part of. Oh sure, yeah, if he if it was
like a life or death situation. Well, if it was a new Babylon
situation is what I was. Alluding to yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's fair. That's fair, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
(49:25):
Isaiah, Isaiah, I love your question.
That was that was like a pretty good deep thoughts here.
Yeah, inspire some deep thoughts.
OK, so no Norman Rita says he gets motion sickness on the
boat. Oh, some little new factoids
about Norman Reese I did not know.
Recalls turning green on the little boat Little boat with
Stephen Merchant and Melissa McBride in that one scene in the
preview, Melissa McBride says Carol is joining the whole
thing. She hopes there will be a behind
(49:46):
the scenes featuring on filming the boats is because of his
motion sickness basically. And that's a wrap on the Dale
Dixon panel onto the press room. That was a minute ago.
I must have had like a lot of these like.
Queued up, too wrapped up. Good, Fear says.
I just want them to sit there and smile.
They could just send out the smiling, the smiling man.
And that's your from panel. It's just him.
(50:07):
Oh, I know. Oh, my thumbs.
For real. Maybe give us hints for new
townspeople. But that means somebody has to
die then, Kira. Just giving Sarah Beth Pollack
our thanks. Oh my goodness, Isaiah.
Isaiah, I feel like you're spicy.
I love it, Isaiah. Negan and Maggie will kiss.
(50:29):
I'm dead stop. So gross.
So grosses me out. I'm not saying anything, it's
fine. Dave likes it though.
Didn't say I liked it either though.
He. Likes it.
You're saying it, Isaiah. Only some revival stuff, but let
me see. No, don't look at it.
Look at her outfit. Just look.
At me. Oh my goodness.
(50:49):
Chachi Chachi. Chachi, I saw her on Strange New
Worlds. That Season 3 premiere is great
for those who like Star Trek andwho love Strange New Worlds.
She's in that as well. Because we've been talking about
revival, that's why we're bringing up Melanie Scrofano.
And there's a lot of crossover lately, so.
Keira's having a very visceral reaction.
(51:11):
To Negan and Maggie kissing. To Negan and Maggie kissing and
then also I think to the fact that she's a great disdain for
the cop and from she said the cop can go.
Isaiah says I hope Last of Us season 3 is better than season
2. Well.
I think it's. It's going to be Abby's
perspective, so it just depends on how.
Much you like. Abby, feel about that here.
(51:33):
You do need to start watching Revival.
I told Takira I was like, I think you'd really like Revival.
And come on Takira, if you have been a little burnt out on from
because it's, I think it's bad. I'm just saying.
So many questions. Like mentally a lot.
It's like, it's like your old boyfriend who was just intense
and you're like, I need a break from you.
I need like a weekend. So you watch Revival and you
(51:54):
take a break and you laugh a little because it's a little
corny and it's the reason it's. A series, but I really, I like
it, I really enjoy. It this is from The Walking Dead
account. Walking Dead under score, AMC,
they're having different. Like after that again it is on
Peacock. So if you have Peacock already,
which I believe you do. Because if you have a cable
subscriptions on a video on demand Peacock.
It airs a full. Is it a week and a day?
(52:16):
It's like a week and a day or. Something technically 8 days,
8-9 days. Yeah, it's a full week after it
airs on sci-fi, but I ain't paying for sci-fi.
Well and what she means is if you go to syfy.com/revival, it
used to be like for the first few episodes, I think it was the
first 3 or 4 episodes, you couldget the episodes right as they
(52:36):
air for free on their website 3.Free episode watches.
Right after that you don't get them immediately or you have to
like pay for credit, which I don't think was it that much.
Did you look into that? Because I haven't I.
Didn't because I have Peacocks. I'm already getting it.
I'm just getting a little bit later.
And then I still have the three free episodes.
That's the other thing. Oh, and speaking.
I never watched it on sci-fi. I should mention that we will be
(52:59):
recording tomorrow morning, a live watch if you catch up,
Kira, if you catch up. Episode catch up overnight.
I don't know how but just do it.They're very short.
They're like 4040 to 50 minute episodes.
But yeah, if you catch up to episodes one through 5, we'll be
watching 6:00 and 7:00 tomorrow together.
I will be putting the link to the studio sometime after this
(53:20):
stream, so you can watch with usepisodes 6:00 and 7:00.
But yeah, we'll be watching together, commenting on it.
All of us have not watch that. Those episodes 7 just came out
last night. 6 came out last week, and we're just catching
up. I just released the Spotify
video and audio podcast of our coverage of episodes four and
five of Revival, so check that out and we'll be posting clips
(53:40):
shortly. I just want to take a break and
talk about that so that you can pay attention.
Follow our Kofi or Patreon accounts for free so you can get
the link once it comes up so youcan participate.
Watch the series with US Revival.
Yeah, public watch, people. Public, so it's free, but you're
gonna have to be annoyed with ustalking throughout about the
episode and also afterwards. That is true.
We'll be talking a lot, unfortunately.
(54:01):
She's so happy, my beloved. Keira's gonna catch up while
she's at work, Isaiah says. I hope we get a Rick Grimes
announcement. That's what everyone's waiting
on. I think so too, the announcement
of season 4 from The Walking Dead under score AMC account
using the spanky art. The all new season hasn't even
dropped yet and we're ready backin action 4th and final season.
The Walking Dead is now production.
Oh, here we go, Undead Walking posted this video.
(54:24):
One of my my favorite things that we used to do.
We'd come here, we read about. This, but we would charge an
insane amount of money to somebody's room.
It was usually Andrew Lincoln's room.
He'd get like a $3000 bill and be like what the hell?
It was so fun, but thank you guys for sticking with us this
whole time. Josh Weigel, amazing.
(54:48):
I think I have connected with him, I think on Instagram.
But 104 people paying attention now, 15 more just dropped on.
I think we got some direct messages, but I don't want to.
I don't want to bring them up onthis screen.
Yeah, probably shouldn't just. In case it's like spam.
Yeah, probably shouldn't. Say something like good like
what's his name did on community.
(55:11):
I'm just referencing a characterfrom another show.
I know I knew exactly what you're referencing.
He doesn't like this. Dave, this.
You bet I if I did that, it would be too late.
OK. Kira.
Oh, Kira. DM does.
Oh, that's cool. Yeah, let me bring that up.
Hold on a second. Yeah.
Oh, she got some pictures for you.
I have a message from Luke Boycethat I just don't want to show
that because I talked to him about it.
Oh. Yeah.
Paul H Wristbands secured. Oh cute, love that.
(55:34):
That is so cute. Look at that Apple Watch.
I want that. OK.
All right. OK.
Quickly close that message. Just looking to see what other
panels are going on today for anybody that's interested.
Just in case you wanted to look it up.
The panel scheduled today. I do have it.
I'll just let you know what has already occurred.
(55:55):
OK. I see one of your videos, Kira.
Let me play that and then we'll go to your schedule.
That kind of thing is really rare I feel like.
Yeah, I mean, I started out on this show watching the first
season. I started Season 2.
Yeah, and I think one of the joys of television is having a
relationship with the characters.
(56:16):
And in success, it's a long relationship.
And Robert Kurtner did the comicas the zombie movie that never
ended. And the comic did end, but we're
trying to play out his vision and to see these characters grow
and change. I have been hearing that a
(56:38):
little bit more often. It's like one of those things
that cycles every year, but, well, he's in 8-9.
To be fair, he did then when he did, Negan lives, right?
So you just never know. And he's like such a secretive
guy about it that just comes outof nowhere all of a sudden.
And he lies too, we know that. He does for fun.
(56:59):
Stance has changed quite a bit. I, I think it's, it's one of the
great joys that that really pretty much only TV can do.
Yeah. So I'm saying I believe in
television. Do you believe in television
services? Yes.
(57:20):
Love Joshy Joshy thank you Kira slash joy slash noir under score
nerdy on X so. This is on gamesradar.com.
I tried to pull it up on MSN, itjust would not load for some
reason. So whatever.
Outlander happened already at 1:00 PM, Resident Alien was also
1:00 PM Outlander. Blood of my blood.
So a spin off of Outlander occurred AT2 upload oh at 2:14,
(57:45):
which is interesting. Uploads coming back, so that's
exciting. Have you been watching it?
I watched the first two seasons maybe OK, OK, yeah.
Phineas and Ferb was at 2:00 PM Obviously we just watched the
Daryl Dixon one. Rick and Morty season 8 is going
to oh is occurring right now. Alien Earth just started Nobody
(58:07):
too, which I just saw the preview for the other day just
started with a long. I don't know what that is, but.
Wait the long walk, I the long it is hold.
On I Don't know What That Is, That's at 6:00 PM.
Solar Opposites is also at 6:00 PM, Lilo and Stitches at 6:15.
Gen. V Season 2 is at 645.
Cool. King of the Hill making a
(58:28):
comeback, and we'll be at 7:00 PM Eastern.
Standard Predator Badlands will be at 7:15.
Eastern Standard Dexter Resurrection will be at 8.
Yeah, I know. I'm excited.
How do you feel about Dexter returning I?
It's weird I. Only got to season 3 in Dexter
and I thought it was too boring.I couldn't continue.
So I have not watched it, I'm just saying like I know there
(58:48):
are some hardcore. Hands with that.
I know, I thought it was really.Like Dexter No, they did like a
prequel 1 where there's like a younger guy playing him now I'm
very charming. I don't resurrection I don't
know I can't keep track of it all, but sure the people who are
into it are super excited like happy.
I'm happy for you guys, honestly.
Sure. Yeah, Tron Aries, which why are
we still doing Tron is what I want to know, but that's.
(59:10):
Fine watch the Edgerton one in the theater is a long time ago.
But is it a series? Because I know it has.
What's the name in it? They brought it back, Yeah,
Well, that's the original, yes. Correct.
And they brought him back for the sequel that they did right
few more than a few years ago. Bring.
Him back, I don't, I guess I don't know dude, these actors
(59:31):
are getting old. Maybe just like, stop putting
them into action films, but it'sfine.
Should talk about Saturdays panel.
It's fine. Harrison Ford can keep making
films and you guys will believe him.
I don't know why you believe a 70 year old man can do that, but
sure. Saturday Saturday's panels Bob's
Burgers is at 1:00 PM, which is exciting.
Coyote versus. Ask me.
(59:52):
Yes, I'm giving you the East Coast times because I do not
live in California. Sorry it.
Doesn't exist. Futurama, 2:00 PM EST Abbott
Elementary. Also very exciting. 2:15 EST The
Bad Guys 2215 Simpsons 245 Star Trek Universe, Dave 3:30.
(01:00:12):
I love how they frame it. Star Trek universe.
By the way, they're this all, they're going all in.
It's everything. The rookie, which I didn't even
know was still on, but OK, 330 American Dad also didn't know
that was still on 345 Family Guyis at 430.
Paradise is at 4:45 which I did start it Dave.
(01:00:33):
Good. OK.
What do you think about it? I like it.
I didn't get very far because itwas, it's like a very heavy show
I like needed a break, but it isit's good project.
By all of you out there, pay attention and take notes because
these shows, we've talked about these shows the last several
months and yeah, Paradise Fire. Yeah, it's, it's good so far.
Project Hail Mary. I'm not sure what that is, but
(01:00:53):
5:15 PM Eastern Standard Time, Spartacus House of Asher, 6:00
PM Eastern ghosts, which I assume is the American ghosts.
We're additional better. No.
The British version of Ghost is way better.
Dave, you're. Wrong.
It's it's just different. I've watched the British
version. It's just different.
(01:01:13):
It's just one and it's oddly like the American one is more
dry than the British one. In my opinion, the British one's
a little over the top. I thought the American one was,
I'm going to say it. I'm going to sound like Is it?
Tacky. Yeah, tacky.
Hello. Look at my shirt.
I'm wearing a salmon T-shirt. This is Salmon, Dave.
(01:01:34):
Peacemaker, which is exciting because Peacemaker is funny, is
I? Really want to watch that.
I it's like the same thing with them.
The other DC based show that hasthe kind of random cast of
character is a Doom. Was it called?
Oh, Doom squad. Doom Squad, Yeah, I've heard
lots of good things about that. 6:30 PM And Rice is a mortal
universe, which I know a lot of people are very excited about
(01:01:55):
that. That is at 7:30 PM Eastern
Standard Time tomorrow, and thenDemon Slayer is 8:45 PM Eastern
I. Can't wait for that.
Your friend India Garcia is here, by the way.
India. That's right.
I love you. I'm so glad you're here.
I haven't seen you in so long. I don't know that there's
anything happening. Sunday, everything's canceled,
(01:02:16):
it looks like across that. It looks like they're just doing
a sneak peek of the Lucas Museumof Narrative Art.
OK, so but India says I like both version of ghosts, by the
way. And so you're so you're wrong,
Bridget. I'm not wrong, I'm not wrong,
I'm never wrong. Anyway, I was wrong already on
this live stream. And admitted here, India's
trying to make peace. And like I'm saying, no, you're
(01:02:37):
wrong, Bridget. So, OK, so yesterday there were
some panels. And so if there's anything that
piques your interest here, maybewe could go look for some
information on it. So, well, let me just talk.
By saying if you do want to knowa little bit more about these
panels and what came out of them, I would suggest going to
ign.com. They have a thing.
(01:02:58):
I posted a link in the chat earlier about how to stream the
panels and you could probably get to it from there.
Avatar the Last Airbender at 20,which I assume means 20 years
and that makes me feel old. What happened yesterday?
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which OK, it's.
Like Jackson still going on? I don't know what's happening
anymore. Thanks for coming back.
(01:03:19):
I never thought would Robert Kirkman was live yesterday at
San Diego Comic. Con I'm.
Sure to talk about wide variety of things because the man is
busy. Critical Role, which is also how
fun. Dean Ashley Johnson, D2.
That was yesterday. Twisted Metal was also
yesterday, which is exciting because they have been promoting
the next season. Seen some ads recently, The
(01:03:40):
Strangers, Chapter 2, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and The
Toxic Avenger, which I just haveto say what is we're literally
we're just bringing things back from my childhood.
But in a way that's a little less raunchy and a little less
raunchy, a little bit more more culturally acceptable, but not
really. I don't know, they're really
don't mess. They're tilting the same, you
(01:04:01):
know what I mean? Yeah, just leave Trump alone.
Leave Trump alone. Leave.
Trump and Alone Comedy Central adult animation South Park,
Beavis and butt Head and Dig Manwas also yesterday and that is
it. Well, so India says.
Kit and caboodle. How are you doing?
And sorry, I've been busy applying for jobs and packing
for a trip in a couple weeks, she says.
No, it's OK, I just missed you. We'll be live tonight on my
(01:04:24):
channel just in case you're interested and you've watched
The Jinx before. Don't come in and ruin it.
Don't spoil it for everyone. OK here.
Doesn't know what happens. She says I can't wait for Five
Nights at Freddy's 2 in December, and especially now
that skeet's going to be on there.
Wait, Percy Jackson is a TV shownow?
Oh yeah. Oh wow, OK, I'm sorry, I only
know what is the films and the books.
I didn't know it was a TV show. In in regards to the thing I was
(01:04:47):
reading, Bridget, sorry. I'm so.
Sorry. I got so I was so flummoxed.
I was told by Geek by Heart is their channel.
I actually saw a short of one ofthem talking about please don't
waste your money on I know what you did last summer.
Just going to say. But then with regards to Friday
nights at Freddy's here, that's pretty good actually.
I just I figured I mentioned it in parallel.
(01:05:09):
Too. OK, you know how many times can
we reboot the same horror franchise?
You can definitely reboot this. You can keep rebooting, but it's
going to get less good every time.
Look at Halloween. What do you feel about the
Institute, by the way, Kira, I'm.
Curious Kira really likes it. We were like tossing it back and
forth behind the scenes to see if.
She really likes it. We've talked about it for our
limited series lounge actually. But then I said let's do Kingdom
(01:05:30):
Hospital instead. By the way, I know what you're
talking about India. Did you see the latest poster
for S3 of OF? Was it the not?
Interview with the Vampire. Interview with the Vampire,
That's I was thinking it's yeah,yeah.
You're in that era of Lestat right now.
Idiots. I.
Haven't watched? If you know, you know.
Sorry, is it good? Jinx?
The jinx is it's old. It's I mean, it's 10.
(01:05:54):
It's 10 years ago that this cameout.
It is wild. If you don't know what happened,
I strongly urge you to avoid looking anything up because I
just think it's better for you to fully experience.
You're in a prime position to actually watch it because if you
don't know anything about it, just watch.
If you like true crime, right, it's true.
It's a true crime thing. It's on HBO and so that's what
we're covering over on my channel Friday evenings at 7:00
(01:06:17):
PM Eastern Standard. So I want to leave soon to go
watch the episode because I haven't.
Watched it, gosh. Okay, so she's saying yeah,
Percy Jackson is a series on Disney Plus now Institute.
Love it so much, Kira says. I heard that.
I know you did last summer. This new one was so bad but I
didn't know it would be a final go for the sequel.
Okay. Spoilers spoiler.
(01:06:37):
The final guy. What about final?
It's never a final guy. Come on.
Read the book right before the show started.
OK. Oh, the Institute, Right?
Yeah. OK.
And lots of differences, but I appreciate the similarities so
much. Even though the kids are aged
up, casting is kind of perfect. OK, I I get that.
And that makes sense. I think that that kind of skewed
a lot of people to actually watch the reboot of.
Well, it's not reboot. It's more of a spiritual sequel,
(01:06:59):
I guess. So I know what you did last
summer. The original cast.
Yeah, it's not. I mean, it's.
Yeah, that's what they're doing right now.
I forgot the term for it. It's like not a full reboot,
it's like 1/2 reboot. You include the previous
characters, but. Yeah, like a spiritual
successor. Yeah, I can't.
There's like a very specific term for it, but I can't.
I don't care for it. I can't think.
(01:07:19):
Of it. Oh no, India got spoiled on
Twitter. That's not Oh, Kara says.
The Long Walk is also Stephen King.
Oh. OK, thank you.
Thank you, Kara. Thank you.
I appreciate that India says shemisses found, but that she hopes
it gets rebooted in a couple years.
Me too, honestly. And that's sweet.
(01:07:40):
Yeah, that'd be great if you would drop on by today.
We've missed you. Yeah, India.
Oh, Kara says. There's one final video up.
OK. Or two I'll.
Go back to that. I love the promos for Ride.
The VR is in marketing for Rye. You are so good at the the art.
I love it. Lots of retweets.
Oh my. Iron Heart.
Oh. Oh, Marvel, Right?
(01:08:01):
Marvel, Yeah. Yeah, good things about
actually. I didn't watch it.
I know the premise of it becauseof the comic books.
I'm gonna. I said this like 2 years ago and
it still stands true. I have superhero fatigue.
I'm OK. I've had superhero fatigue.
I'm like really struggling to continue.
There's only like a couple ones that I'm like still really into
and it's predominantly anything Spider Man, which like is true
(01:08:23):
of me as like a kid too. I've never lost my love for
Spider Man. I think they're trying to weave
the next one as a larger narrative too.
Like how do you bring they? Are but they have to wait.
So apparently I just heard this on the radio.
Maybe Morales cannot be includedin the official like Disney MCU
until. That takes something with some.
(01:08:45):
Of the next spider verse movie comes out right.
That's what they're trying to do.
So that's the deal. So it's looking like 2027 or
later finally. Already sooner than I thought it
would have been, yeah. And Batman.
OK, let me put this video up of from Nora Nerdy.
How is Season 3 expanding the Daryl Carroll dynamic?
Is that they've gone through together?
How is Season 3 kind of pushing that relationship forward?
(01:09:07):
I think they rely on each other a lot.
They've they've gotten to a point where they know each other
so well. And you read.
This earlier but. They're having different life
experiences and with the supportof their friend, I mean, her
coming to to France and to be with him.
(01:09:28):
I mean, I remember shooting thatscene when they met and it was
such a build up and such a relief and sort of not, it
didn't seem real. Now everything's very real.
You know, I don't know, they, they just have this chemistry
that's so good on camera. And it's because she and I are
(01:09:48):
good off camera, you know, so you can't really teach an actor
to do that or pretend to have that with somebody.
You have to kind of earn it. And I feel like they've put in
the work to earn it. I feel like where they are at
this this point in their storiesto have that is, is such a rare
(01:10:09):
thing, you know? So there's a lot going on, you
know. Melissa have out for you in
developing that relationship further with Daryl and Carol
this year after all of this timeand seeing them in this new
circumstance. I, I'm really enjoying this and
it, it just means a lot to me tokeep working with Foreman.
And I said it before, I just, I show up for the two of them
(01:10:32):
together and after all these years, still doing this and
still exploring these charactersalone, who they are by
themselves and who they are together, is is just a gift that
keeps on giving. Thanks, no more under score
(01:10:53):
Nerdy. Thanks to Joy, shout out to Joy
for real. I am just now putting it
together, which is so stupid because obviously you said who's
hosting it. I have seen him.
Joshua. This is the first time Chris
Hardwick hasn't done this since the beginning.
Since the very beginning. I think it's crazy.
Sounds right. Well, maybe it's like what he
wants though. Like he.
Does What a big deal for Josh. Yep.
(01:11:15):
To get picked up this quickly after we saw him do the panel
at, I think it was Paley Center, yes, Yeah.
Yes, because yeah, that was the one.
I couldn't attend this. Key art for a ride with Norman
Rita's The Trip continues. He's revving up another one,
saying like, look at that. Yeah, it's very umm.
The vibrant color, the it's liketraditional tattoo, kind of
like. Yeah, I was gonna say post von
(01:11:35):
Dutch situation. I was gonna say, like Sailor
Jerry, almost like exactly to it, yeah.
No, this season Ride with NormanRita's premieres September 14th
on AMC and AMC Plus, so a week after the Dixon season 3.
That's my birthday. Happy birthday.
That's my birthday. Yes, India.
This is a spin off of Walking Dead.
It's going into its third seasonthis year.
(01:11:58):
Do y'all like Ironheart? We talked about that for a brief
SEC. I heard good things about it.
Y'all checking out Welcome to Dairy in October.
I will check it out, but I don'tthink it's something that we'll
be covering on the podcast on Squawking Dead.
I think it's really our jam. I will definitely be watching it
I. Don't know about that, I'm
curious, I don't. Know about coverage?
You know what? Who knows?
Who knows? Yeah, why count it out?
(01:12:20):
That's true. Can't wait for Spider Man, 4I
says. And there's another spin off of
The Walking Dead. Yes, and it's actually quite
good, right, like you were saying.
It's actually really good. I was going to say this is
probably my favorite spin off. I I really, I've I've liked all
of the spin offs. I don't hate any of them.
This is probably my favorite one, but it's because Daryl and
Carol are. Yeah, there's a lot of internal
(01:12:42):
stuff that happens when I when Iwatch these characters because
they've been through a lot of the same steps.
That sounds bad. Not let's just keep.
Going. Let's keep.
Going not that, no, because they've been through a lot of
the same things I have in my life.
So there's been like a real genuine connection for me with
these characters. If it's made by Stephen King, I
(01:13:02):
am watching. I thought you meant like you'll
only watch it if Stephen King isin charge of directing.
And we you both know that this is never going to happen again
because everyone hated Maximum OverDrive.
I was just saying I loved it. We're all about the same age.
But it wasn't always true, let'sput it that way.
And also, the second reboot of the of the TV miniseries for The
(01:13:24):
Stand was just way too punk rock, old punk, punk rock for
me. Just too much.
What the original stand? The second one they said that.
Reboot the reboot. No, I didn't even watch it.
Garbage. Was it a miniseries?
It was a movie. No, it was this miniseries.
The thing you just said, she just asked the best question
I've ever heard in my entire life.
As a Walking Dead fan, I'm so excited.
I haven't watched The Walking Dead as of yet, but where could
(01:13:46):
I watch it if I wanted to check it out for the first time?
OK, I'm gonna give you a bunch of different ways, OK?
Well, let me tell you one that is actually expiring soon, or at
least one of the series is expiring soon.
Netflix is phasing out the ones who live at the end of August.
I think it is. It's soon.
It just has this thing on it because right now I have
Netflix. We bit the bullet and we got it
(01:14:06):
because I figured it was going to have to No, not because the
jinx jinx on HBO The Walking Dead is phenomenal.
If you haven't watched it, I really think you should.
You can watch it on Netflix as of right now.
When that contract expires, it will, I'm guessing move back to
AMC plus. There is a way to watch it for
free, but you kind of have to get like the timing right.
(01:14:28):
So if you have a rogue who or ifyou have Prime, maybe it's only
on AMC plus though. Anyway, Roku has their own like
Live Channels, you know, we're just like endlessly streams.
You're talking about The WalkingDead channel.
Or The Walking yeah, Walking Dead channel.
Yep, Walking Dead channels. Though that's actually available
for free on more than just Roku and all that.
(01:14:50):
It's actually available on like these IPTV channels.
Like if you ever notice on your television, you have like the
built in IPTV, like LG has theirIPTV channels or LGTV, which
like gives you a lot of local news channels, but also like
these crazy weird amalgam channels as well.
So one of those is The Walking Dead universe and it's actually
available everywhere. So it's kind of it's.
Pretty great, but you have to get the timing right because you
(01:15:11):
have to, like, start it at the right time.
And that can be kind of difficult.
But that is a free option. So yeah.
But if you have Netflix, that would be where I tell you to go
now. And yes, the Buffy reboot pilot
is in production. Is it?
Is also another spiritual successor or what?
Yeah, it is because Sarah Michelle Gallery signed on for
it, but she was heavily involvedin the creation of I believe her
(01:15:33):
that she wouldn't sign on unlessit was like she felt it was
worthwhile because it's been so many years and she's been
offered so many times this like opportunity to be involved in
it. So India has Prime.
Check on Prime to see if the channel's on there.
Any Rick Rimes news? No, not yet.
We had a lot of speculation on the stream about where this The
(01:15:54):
Walking Dead universe will go. Steve, Steve's music, music
lessons. Let me put it this way so I can
catch up just a little bit and catch up anybody who missed it.
Season 4 of The Walking to DarylDixon will be its last season.
It was already announced a couple months ago that they were
in production for it and it was greenlit.
That means that series is ending.
Dead City may be on the same track in terms of season 4, even
though the next season is season3 because I know it was greenlit
(01:16:15):
for season 4 as well. Dead City Wild, it announced
season 3. This is to say if Dead City and
Daryl Dixon are both ending, these are the two major spin
offs that are going on right nowand perhaps we've been
sprinkling in our coverage of Dead City this year.
You know, season 2 ended a couple weeks ago.
I'd alluded to the fact that maybe New Babylon is bigger than
Dead Cities. The most in the future of the
(01:16:36):
shows in New Babylon may have something to do with Rick.
This is like posts what you know, the ones who live, et
cetera. Maybe Rick is the big bad at New
Babylon and Negan will have to face off being the good guy
trying to defeat Rick and Michonne and the kids.
Weird. Not the kids.
Not the kids, not Judith. That will be tough for him.
Essay also have LG channels. Yeah.
(01:16:57):
So LG channels. Yeah, you can probably get it on
there. I think if I'm not mistaken, you
can. By the way, new LG TV's have a
kind of channels. I think there may be an app, an
app for The Walking Dead universe.
So check that out. Maybe I probably, I'm probably
not wrong about that. They have an app for sci-fi
Channel itself. So, Cindy?
Survival the best questions India.
This is why I love you. Any other shows y'all are
(01:17:19):
interested in that have been announced during the Comic Con
this week? I'm not that it like have been
announced, but I was very excited to see that Revival got
a panel because Revival is a show that's also vaguely zombie
based kind of you. Know way more relaxed.
Very cheesy would be the word I would use to describe it in the
best possible way. Very campy.
(01:17:40):
Also based on a comic book. Image, Image Comics and Tim
Seeley, who was also at that panel, by the way, that's all
about comic to screen basically that panel.
That's great. And so I'm really excited about
that because it's good. And so I'm glad it's getting
some traction. Let's watch the stamp clip
already. 9:00 PM Eastern Time September 7th AMC and AMC Plus
(01:18:03):
be there. Thank you all for showing up
here and doing what you do from from all of us.
Here says, what are you both hoping for in the next phase of
TWDU? Great question.
(01:18:25):
I think I want what every Walking Dead fan wants, which is
for Rick to see everybody else. I think, I think everybody is
looking for that. And so I ideally would like the
crossover event to occur, which has been hinted at by Gimple
before. But it's a fine crossover.
Do you mean like, for example, like Morgan crossing over into
(01:18:46):
the series as well? And.
I yeah, I kind of I want. To be crossing back from.
I want to see everybody, you know what I mean?
Like I wanted to go like I wanted, like we find out what
happens for everyone. And then I think it would be OK
if we just let it go at that point, as sad as that makes me.
Yeah, see, there's like a dangerin wanting to cross back with a
cross back crossover, whatever, because right now they've kind
(01:19:08):
of painted themselves in the corner.
It's too much that they could do, which requires too much
story to tell, which requires just a very, very elaborate
weaving of narratives so that you can first of all end each
series in pointing in that direction to where everything
lines up to where that can happen.
So there's going to be some serious serious.
And when I say serious, I don't mean like literally.
(01:19:30):
I mean like, no, when I say serious, I mean you have to have
a bunch of writers, not just Gimple, coming in you.
Have like 4 thought. Yeah, you need to bring in
Angela King, Matthew Negretti, World Beyond, right?
David Zabel, Eli Jornay, all these people who worked on these
projects to get the spirit of each of these crossovers.
You got it. Michael Satcherzemis, obviously,
because he helped weave that narrative.
(01:19:51):
Even Phil McLaughlin, who directed an episode of Fear the
Welcome before he was ever get those folks in a room to help
construct the because they're the spiritual stewards of the
series. Get Kirkman in at the head with
a Viking helmet, you know, just like to see him, you know?
This is Roots, I think, isn't it, Kirkman?
Well, I need him to like poo poothe ideas that are just like way
(01:20:11):
too sure sane. I need him to be there to be
like, that's dumb. I don't do that.
India. I actually don't know.
Read what she said first. For the Five Nights of Freddy's
2, what character do you think Skeet is going to play?
Because I don't know much of the.
Lore of the Skeet Ulrich, right?Every time you say skeet is
literally all I can think of. And I do love him and so like, I
(01:20:32):
hope for him, like, great, but Idon't know much about it,
honestly. I really don't.
I'm so sorry that I don't. It's just not.
It's like I'm too old. I think, I hate to say that
aloud, but I think I'm too old for Five Nights at Freddy's.
It's, you know, it's really fun.Too old Five Nights at Freddy's.
OK, I guess I'm too older than you because I'm like into it.
(01:20:55):
Oh, it circles back around. OK, like it's a horseshoe.
Loving this. So does Renee.
First, you survive. What happened to you?
Let's get it close to Miss McBride.
Look at that hand on her, on herneck, you know what I mean?
Yeah, it's like the kind of way you want to be handled, you
know, sometimes even I. No.
Did you guys see Michael in the trailer for Twisted Metal?
(01:21:16):
Michael who? Captain America?
No. Anthony Mackie.
Current Captain America. Yeah, the current Captain
America. Anthony Mackie.
Yeah, but who's Michael? That's what I'm saying.
Who's Michael? What are you talking?
About Michael, OK, maybe she's talking about James Shaw.
Michael James Shaw. Mercer That's right.
Wow. I did not, but I've heard he's
in a lot of projects right now actually.
(01:21:37):
So it's him. It's kind of a.
That's awesome. No, I didn't.
I didn't see him. That's my answer by the way,
the. Little trailers that are airing
like when I'm watching Prime, but nothing crazy so far.
Oh, let me just say this out loud to answer your question
from earlier India, what pant, what shows would I want to watch
seeing the previews coming out of the first of all, San Diego
Comic Con, but earlier than San Diego Comic Con, the previews
(01:21:59):
for Twisted Metal Two season 2. But like you have to have
Peacock to watch it. It's a Peacock original.
So it's kind of like, and, but we've been talking about getting
Peacock, you know, because we like to spend money.
Do you see what I'm saying, Dave?
It is endless. I am constantly buying
subscriptions. That was for you.
That's the only one that I've been really psyched about.
I have been wanting to backtracklike I said watching not Teen
(01:22:20):
Titans per SE but like Doom Patrol and the Suicide Squad
movies that led Teen. Titans, I will say Teen Titans
live action was pretty good. What I watched of it was pretty
good. Like I said, the superhero
fatigue is definitely real. I'm not as I'm not as whose baby
is that? Whose white baby is that?
(01:22:41):
I think it's implied what is happening here.
Go ahead. Sorry, I definitely halted your
brain. Just.
You did the white baby thing anyway.
I can't think now I've lost it. Bye you.
Can talk about spending money onPeacock is what we were going
with, but I don't know where you're going with that.
If you were talking about TV shows you were going to watch.
(01:23:02):
Peacock twisted metal two season2 do patrol Suicide Squad.
Oh, the superhero thing. I was going to say I will come
back for things like the Netflix, Marvel shows, Jessica
Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil. Punisher.
Punisher. Punisher especially those I will
come back for because those are those are really interesting to
(01:23:24):
me. I think that.
They're more brown. Yeah, I have a hard time with
like some of the bigger MCU stuff.
It's just like it's gotten. They're doing the reboot, which
is like New 52. I'm just not interested in that.
I will probably watch anything else that comes out with
Guardians of the Galaxy because I was hot spot for that, but
other than that I'm just not as interested as it used to be.
(01:23:45):
But to be fair, this has been going on since what, 2010?
Like 15 years into this now? I'm I'm tired.
I actually longer, I think 2008 was the first Iron Man movie if
I'm not mistaken. 2008, 2000. Nine.
Well, when did The Incredible Hulk come out?
Because technically that's the first one.
Is it? The Hulk was after that, wasn't
it? With the Ruffalo?
(01:24:06):
No. He never got a snow movie.
No. You're talking about Norton,
aren't you? Norton is technically the 1st.
One, but Norton was a. Cast.
They recast it. Norton was Sony though so I
don't know if that technically. Sure.
Yeah, I think technically it counts because yeah, it does.
Because now they brought back the Doctor from it.
You're talking about the abomination.
What's his face? I mean, they're trying to bring
(01:24:28):
back these. You know what?
Let's move on. Down.
David and I are very much nerding out.
This is embarrassing. Anyway, India says we'll be
seeing Fantastic Four for my birthday on Tuesday.
Hoping it is good. I have heard that it is 30 days
so I think you'll enjoy. Yourself, you've got to watch a
thing. I do.
I have to watch an episode of The Jinx and then I will be live
(01:24:48):
at my channel. If you want to head on over to
youtube.com, Slash at Punky Brewster, that's PUNKYBRUISETER.
At 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
We will be having a little chat about the fourth episode of The
Jinx. I can't even remember.
It might be that's pretty bad. I think it's the fourth.
(01:25:09):

throughout the stream. And first of all, happy birthday
India. We should say that.
(01:25:29):
Yeah. Early birthday because I'd
probably not going to see you between now and then, but if I
do, it'd be great for me. So how about that?
Bridget has more of a hit rate with you, but I, you know, for
me, it's, it's kind of great, Dave.
