(00:00):
Don't be weirded out and just, you know, do my thing.
You'll be like idiot with this intro.
(00:28):
We are squawking dead, a podcastpulverizing programs beyond The
Walking Dead universe. Sometimes we give you news,
sometimes we make you laugh. Most times we go deep.
I'm yours, David Cameo, and I'm joined by.
Cosmo Mom, 09. That's me.
And Bridget, AKA Punky Brewster, who you could find on
youtube.com, Slash at Punky Brewster, that's PONKYBRUISETER,
(00:51):
and she'll be on here in just a second.
She's wiping her face down because it's peak ragweed season
in the Northeast of the United States of America.
And we're back, folks. Have you missed us?
Did you miss us? We're to half of us were all
across the world and even Charity went on a little AK,
which is kind of really cool actually, that she was able to
take a little time off a lot of places too.
(01:12):
I went to Wisconsin and then, oh, that's right, to Virginia.
Very recent. We're all over.
We're in Virginia. Richmond for Tara's birthday
party. Oh, that's right, that's right.
That was all this week. It was all in one weekend, Dave.
I was so tired. And boy, my aunt's tired.
I flew back at like 4:00 AM on Saturday.
(01:34):
Eww. And then drove at 11:00 AM on
Sunday to Virginia. I admire you.
That's something I would do if Ihad it in me to my friends.
Yeah, I don't know if I have that anymore, but I still will
admire it because it's boss. It's a boss move.
Let me just drop it really quickly.
I was away in Japan. Most of you guessed it, because
(01:55):
I made it really easy. We dropped a couple of reels on
our socials in our YouTube. I was like, oh where's Dave?
And based on these pictures thatare flying at your face.
It was great and I wish I could stay there more.
I never felt that way about a vacation before.
I what a polite society. Everything runs really, really
well. Wait, you don't come back from
(02:16):
vacation and feel like I don't want to do this.
I'd like to stay and live where I am?
No, never. I do that every vacation.
I want to move to the place I'm at.
I love the United States. I love being at home.
I like working well, I love the United States.
But I no, this is the first timeI've ever had doubts about oh,
(02:39):
they're doing it right here. I'm not saying that we're doing
it wrong, but they're doing it right in the present moment.
Let's just say Dave's a weeb. Yeah, I have Nipponophilia.
I'm obsessed with Japan Weeb. Anyway, Rachel is in Ireland.
He and and it was great. You should check out her
pictures on her social medias. I relived my own trip to Ireland
(03:00):
a few years back. 5 or so. Feel refreshed, recharged.
It's been a while since you've taken a vacation.
Like a real one. Are you OK?
What happened? I'm trying to remember and like,
I've never had a vacation like that ever.
Like a full week. I'll take a weekend here and
there, but I've never just takena whole week off, never left the
(03:24):
country. That's why you were locked up as
Were you trying to think of the last time you took a vacation
that long? Like when you were a kid, a
teenager. Never.
Maybe driving down to Florida, but I think even that was maybe
5 days at the most. And one on each end driving is
that. Accurate.
Yeah. Yes, exactly.
(03:44):
Most of that was driving. I've never had a vacation like
this. May you have many more because
we're all of the age with your kids turning 16 tomorrow and so
they're getting older. So that means you can go.
I could take more days off. Well, I'm going to start saving
up now and I plan on in two years taking Silas over there
with me because he'll be 18 and that's the drinking age.
(04:08):
Oh, I love that for him and for you.
I pray for you. I think he will find it very
interesting honestly. Culturally.
That's two years from now. Who knows what kind of a person
he's going to be then? Yeah, he'll be like I hurt you,
Mom. Maybe possible an e-mail again.
Email's sin. No I'm I cut his hair and I will
(04:32):
not do that. He's had the same haircut since
he was 7. That's why he's emo, 'cause you
cut his hair and he's like, put the cutting ball away, mom.
Oh my gosh. Well, anyways, we are here to do
the thing that we do with you all the time, every week,
usually returning to revival. The last three episodes,
(04:54):
starting with this one. It's a live watch of episode 8
of its inaugural season titled ARose and a Thorn.
Every rose has its thorn, just like every night night.
Has its dawn. Every cowboy sings a sad, sad
(05:18):
song. Finish it you might.
As well I did. Dave's going to be stimming
every time with this new fangledterminology.
I'm not just kidding. Dave doesn't stem that I know
of. I know.
I don't know. Do you stem Dave?
I don't know what that means. I don't know.
That's Dave. That's what I'm saying.
(05:40):
What's this? I don't know the lingo.
I'm done. I'm dead.
I'm done. Ready or not, Here we come.
Hide and go seek. I'm stemming.
No, you're not. Well, I mean, maybe you are.
I don't know. Can't see your old body.
That's her mom much? You're my little miracle, M.
(06:02):
Do you remember? We saw her be born in the
beginning of the last episode. I should have to hear.
Uncle. That's a black deer.
Believe Uncle told on me. Rose.
Black deer. If you leave her land rights go
back to the government. I know.
Uncle told me, Oh, that's why people think he murdered.
Murdered her. Jessie, her father, I guess.
Yeah, that's the argument. It's good to me.
(06:25):
It's May Tao, the journalist. That's why she's interested.
I couldn't tell because she was upside down.
I know. Me too.
It was like I was doing this thing like you.
It's May Tao in her crazy house.Even this place is not that bad.
No, it's insane. Tomorrow I'm on the train to
Chicago. Oh, another person trying to go
to Chicago. And next thing you know, we'll
(06:46):
be stuck here until we're 50. Do you remember when you used to
say this when you were a kid? Yes.
So old. 30, life is over. Well, she's at 50.
But yes, Dave, four years away from 50.
Life isn't over. Just kidding.
The deep dish. Yeah.
(07:07):
It's not that big a deal. It's Chicago pizza is not that
good. It's like a once a year thing.
Beef dish is a waste of my time because it's all bread and I
don't want that. Agreed.
I like a thin crispy crust. Yes, I want it to be mainly
topping. Obviously I want my.
Pizza on a cracker. It's like the James d'onofrio of
(07:31):
Native Americans. I don't think his first name's
James Vincent Vincent d'onofrio.Vincent d'onofrio.
It's like, I don't know, James is his son, guys.
So insensitive. Train station Chicago bound.
Who is it? It's the professor.
Was it teacher? Lover.
That's who I'm referring to, Aaron Weimer.
When you say teacher lover, I assume it's someone who loves
(07:52):
teachers. Oh, it isn't present day.
How you? Doing Why aren't you guys?
Looking for my daughter? No, it can't, because he's a
burn victim. Dave.
Yeah. Surprise.
I mean, what just happened? Wait.
You were you were short circuiting.
(08:15):
Me. Yes, Yeah, you like you said
it's in present day and I went, no, it's not.
He's a burn victim, Dave. No, I know.
And all of a sudden we just heard you like you said nothing
and then you just went OK. It's been a, it's been, it's
(08:39):
been quite the past few weeks for me.
But I have no excuse. This is just who I am now.
Oh my. God, there's.
More to come. Dumb Dave is the new Dave.
Rachel, you should just take my place as just leader of podcast.
I'll just ask the dumb questions.
Hey, why is he not burnt or Yeah, yeah, yeah.
(09:05):
OK. I just.
Gave it a little. You know fell right?
Out. So glad that he's still a
Roundish even though it's the past.
You know, if I eat the whole thing, you don't want to see
that. OK, what do you guys think of
this entire episode being a flashback?
I could see some people saying it's kind of like filler or no.
(09:27):
We have some questions that needto be answered and it makes
sense that it falls naturally after the introduction of the
dad's name. We just got introduced to him
being alive again, even though we had already made that
assumption. Now you get the story as to like
how we got here, which is fine by me.
I mean, it's a nice storytellingdevice.
We don't need flashbacks all of the time, but they've used it
(09:47):
pretty sporadically. You know, it's not in each
episode, but like, this episode feels like it's an entire
flashback now. Do we know the entire episode is
a flashback? No, let's see how how far in we
are. We're about third in.
So I don't know, maybe I guess we'll find out.
Yeah, it might not be the whole episode.
I figured I'd ask before just incase because but.
I I'm I agree with Bridget, I think flashbacks can be a useful
(10:11):
tool as long as it's not overdone.
Oh, we got to see their mom again, so that's kind of cool.
Do you remember what I said in the last episode, how it was two
years ago? Their mom died two years ago.
Her mom could have died because of what was happening around the
same time, what they were finding out.
I don't remember that, but yeah,possible.
(10:31):
What do you say? What's about it, Jesse?
This is rough. Would your dad walk like?
No. Don't talk like that, Ma.
OK, No, you're going to be all right.
Oh goodness, I got to go. Oh, don't talk.
(10:52):
Don't talk like that. Little brother, he's your twin.
Well. I'm at least a movie Lang solder
and them Dana, so that's got to account for something.
Wait a second. Twin.
Huh? Twin.
Huh. Come on.
So wait, we go, Dave, He's not gone yet.
(11:13):
I was like walking on X shells. Be like he goes.
I just feel about a full flashback UPS twin device.
Evil. Twin.
Evil Twin device. Maybe I don't.
I love it. You don't know.
You could be good guy. There's always one good twin and
one bad twin. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
OK. Now, we're trying to make a case
(11:36):
here, Dana, and you contradicting yourself week to
week in the press. Calm down, hot grandpa.
Where is the evidence? I'm in is that Maytag is that is
telling you this is not our guy.Right now, all he's guilty of is
fighting with his daughters. Does that sound familiar?
Talk to Brent, he'll tell you the same thing.
I did talk to Brent, by the way,who agreed with me.
He said another search couldn't hurt.
(11:57):
But did you talk to Brent? Did you talk to Brent or did you
talk to Trent? Not Trent.
What do we call the evil Dom Dory?
Yeah, Dominic. And his mom is Don Dory.
(12:18):
Oh, Blaine Abel. He's not all fire and brimstone
right now. No, at this point, he just looks
like Stephen Ogg. This is just how Stephen Ogg
looks, pretending to be a mechanic.
Yeah. That was traveling, collecting
new. Experiences new perspectives.
Getting out of the. It literally is Stephen Ogg,
(12:40):
yeah. Myrtle Beach.
Dirty Myrtle. Wait, that's the vacation spot?
Dana said to her sister that they would, That's where they
would go. Right, Right.
OK. Yeah, that's in North Carolina.
South Carolina South Carolina, close enough, is right on the
border. When I look up this receipt, do
I search for Blaine or Bear? She gave you that necklace,
(13:01):
right? A bear claw for her bear.
Oh, she's good. What a plot twist.
Found something in the black bear home.
You're going to want to see her.Oh, look at Brent just shaking
her head because Wayne probably planted evidence.
You think Wayne did? Yes.
(13:21):
Could be. Could explain why everything
he's done since has like, just gone wrong.
Poisoned fruit. It's over.
Dana, it was Wayne or it was Brent.
Evil Brent. Or maybe they're both evil.
It's not good. He's got a backup, Brent.
Brent was just complaining aboutmoney.
Absolutely not, Dana. Look, this guy trying to elbow
in. Look at him hovering.
(13:44):
I shouldn't have trusted you in the 1st place.
That's frustrating. Was it?
Your daddy planted the evidence.Or was it you?
Who's free for a headlock? No update yet.
On deputies like for St. Rogers.
Who's that handsome officer? Should we reverse?
Where's that guy been? Please let him go.
No way to do this. Jesse, get your hands.
(14:06):
Up. You're going to have to shoot
me. That's even more frustrating,
Jesse, when Rose is gone. Thank you.
And This is why her dad says he she messed up the case because
she let him go. Well, you have to also remember
that he revived because he died within the two week period too.
(14:27):
So he's been around the last twoyears, correct?
Oh, OK. Pins Conscious Pride 12 year
regional champion. Hin Skonson got me to took me
out. We'd be celebrating A7 year run
if he didn't missed the championship two years ago.
Third week of November. Bowlers Christmas.
(14:54):
The only game bowlers Christmas on.
November. 17th I love it. Thunder Bay ON in case.
See you later, Justin Can't see it because he fled the country.
Shouldn't be here. Look, I ain't got nothing to say
to you. You're that meddling reporter.
They were friends. Are they friends or more than
friends? It seemed pretty intimate to me.
But it was 2007, so maybe not acceptable.
(15:19):
I don't know. I was.
In love with your daughter just. There you go.
Wow, there you go. OK.
Oh, remember, Brent dropped off the body of Jesse Black Deer.
Die on on Revival day. Yeah, I would have to go or I
don't know. Yes, yeah.
OK. What is Brent's coat?
(15:43):
What's? And completes the payment for
his mother's treatment in. Full So Brent's mother was sick.
Nearly $10,000 So who's he working for?
That's what I'm. Trying to figure out.
That's what we all want to know.Sorry.
(16:06):
That's now you're going to get some Randy Rachel's face.
So she OK, OK, OK. So she knew all along it was
him, right? Right.
And to hear the banging, she was.
So it's got to be horrifying. Here we are back at the end of
(16:33):
the last episode. How do we know Moore Creek has
real significance? Because that's where I was
murdered. Remember how mom had this thing
with the water being special? No, she was right.
He had this symbol carved on his.
Chest the unicursal hexagram. Our tribe have had land disputes
with the Ables for decades. Watch it like it not be like
(16:56):
Blaine's actually kind of great except for the whole alien
thing. Let.
Me get JP to help. We all trust JP guys.
JP remember so it's his. Maybe now we have to find out if
it's chained or anything like heseems to be.
Following us somewhere. Yeah, yeah.
He either Unchained it or it wasnever captive.
(17:19):
Oh, is that Rose? Maybe he went there to kill
Blaine and then but he got this instead.
Or he really loved her. You ever had anyone like?
That no, but sort of. Yeah, maybe.
Should have taken us to Rhody right then and there.
(17:39):
No, I know I miss him. I don't want you guys to forget
about him. Oh, because you remember what
her last words were to him? Big old pussy.
Whatever it was she said to him.I don't know.
Sounded like it. How is he outside again?
Did you find out? I managed to escape.
How? Remember what the major lady.
(18:01):
She said to lure her out. She knows how to lure her out.
Oh, so she let Brody out or let him escape or think that he was
escaping, but they're really watching him.
Or he agreed. Yeah.
Because, I mean, you tortured somebody so many time.
This is heavy, but it's it's gone.
The angel's gone. Says Tyler.
Barrow is his name here. I'm right here, Steven.
(18:29):
I'm ready for my close up Mr. Blaine.
She snuck out. Who knew teenagers would sneak
out of their wherever they are. Really.
Oh, boy, This is going to be yeah, yeah, yeah.
You'd bring her back. But did they check?
Is it really hers? Is it somebody else?
That's what I'm waiting for. He's going to unwrap it and it's
(18:51):
not going to be her. I just want just please let it
be that he checked before he picked her up and all that
stuff. She would have been dead a long
time. Also he's like super
contaminating evidence. Oh, oh, oh.
Aaron Weimer. Aaron Weimer.
(19:13):
Oh, I guess it was a sort of scarf or.
I still have no idea what. Was that the Angel that followed
him home? It's calling me.
Yeah, it's coming to take him. So it is his Angel.
Angel. Quote UN quote.
I guess we'll call it that because Stephen Blaine Abel
(19:33):
doesn't have an Angel to violateall the other revivers.
Is it Aaron Weimer now? Oh wait, no, it's already.
No. He's dead, He's dead, He's dead.
I forgot. So the is the good Brent around
is that we believe that he's thegood one now?
I don't or is he the bad one? Are they both bad?
(19:54):
Right He? Said we're going to the ocean.
Right, Myrtle Beach. Oh, we're not going to the ocean
at all, are we? No, he tricked.
You, he turned on you. I'm so sorry in Oh.
I do feel bad for Rhody though. Yeah, but I don't miss you
anymore, Rhody. I don't miss you anymore.
(20:18):
Missing you since you've been gun.
That's like that snake venom thing.
Now it's time for the breakdown.Ladies and gentlemen, I have no
answers. I have only questions.
What are the questions then? I don't even know.
Well, they must have opened the blanket and looked at roses.
(20:40):
Well, I certainly hope so. Before they burned it.
Yeah, I have to assume. And also, they burned in the
world's tiniest fire. It's not going to do anything.
Oh. It's really good.
It was too small, really. And again, but if you think
about it, wouldn't she be all but in a dusty and Bony?
Well, she was in a trunk, she wasn't in open air.
(21:01):
Would you be able to recognize her as my point without any
forensic evidence and DNA? After two years, no.
Could beating somebody else. So I'm being that guy.
I I know that's where I'm at too.
Like what if it's somebody else? And that really I just have to
ask the question, you know, well, the show has had a lot of
twists, so it's kind of hard to just take things as at face
(21:22):
value. I'm going to, I'm, I'm going to
say that confidently that it wasRose because Jesse's.
Because he had alien angels to move on.
It would make me feel bad if it wasn't.
If that was his like unfinished business or whatever, then the
nice, nice conclusion. So I'm satisfied with that being
(21:43):
our answer that yes, that was Rose.
But you took away the only evidence that linked her to her
death to Blaine. Now granted, there's still
residual DNA in the trunk. Maybe, I don't know.
Maybe she didn't like it. Now, to be fair though, she had
been wrapped in that blanket thewhole time.
There would be. Seepage back there depending on
(22:05):
what time of year it was. Right between the cold winters
and the hot summers. Yeah, and Blaine still might not
have anything to do with it. He might have towed that car
there not knowing. Oh, what was it?
Didn't he go to tow a vehicle that evening?
He did. Nobody claimed maybe it was the
no and maybe that was the vehicle.
No, the vehicle he told belongedto.
(22:25):
I think it was belonged to AaronWeimer that the same vehicle
that had it was the rental car, right, the rental but.
It was towed that had the house on that Aaron right?
They said dark blue. Cutlass Supreme.
Yeah. I thought that that was Brent's
text to Aaron. That's right.
That's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah it.
Contained a file that just had the words yeah.
(22:47):
But Blaine did go pick up a car that night.
Yeah. And it was the rental car that
Aaron Weimer used with his TA's name, remember, that had the
hospital visitor parking validation for that night
because of his mom, his mom's, his wife's chemo.
He slipped out to drop the rental car and do do some
(23:08):
dastardly deed with MI. Guess is the what word to
assume? I guess, Yeah.
It's safe to assume that someonesent him there to pick Rose up
too. Well, that's the thing, he
wasn't seeing M at this time. Right.
That was two years, two years prior.
But I mean, he wasn't seeing Rose either.
He's waiting for him to grow up.I.
(23:30):
Just knew him clearly. And he called somebody right
after he knocked her out and stuck her in the front seat.
I assume it was either Brent or Blaine.
He knew Rose more than she knew him.
Because remember what I said in one of the prior episodes, The
file for the missing persons case?
She was his student in his. Yeah.
In Professor Reimer's creative writing class.
(23:51):
I have a question. I want there to be more of a
connection to Anne's mother's death to this case because it
happens at the same time. I'm hoping that they'll maybe
even flashback to that night in the events that happened to Rose
coinciding with Revival Day. It's it couldn't been November.
Revival Day was like early December.
(24:12):
No, December 18th, I think it was.
Yeah, it was the aunt. Remember, she was on the bridge
because it was the two year anniversary of their mom's
death. That was Revival Day.
Yes. OK, I don't know if there would
be a connection to the Rose black deer missing persons thing
and Jesse and all that stuff. There's a bit of a hang time
between Revival Day and her disappearance.
(24:32):
Remember, it was Bowlers. Christmas is thanks Thanksgiving
essentially, right? Oh yeah, that weekend.
Or that Friday or whatever it is.
She said the date and I can't remember.
November. I thought it was November or
something. The third week of November.
I mean, I love that we have two more episodes.
Me too for this to go off the rails.
I don't know, I've still, I'm feeling like there's one more
(24:54):
player that we haven't met yet. And we haven't gone back to
freaking Phil, freaking CM Punk.Oh, oh, wait, no.
Did they all die? They all died, yeah, every
single one of them. And massacred everyone in the.
It was Andrew, Anthony and Adam.Phil is the Impact's real name.
(25:16):
Is that what? Is that what you're saying?
OK, I didn't know that. OK, going back to what you just
said, Rachel, there is a third player who has that unicursal
hexagram tattoo on his chest, carved maybe into his chest.
That's what she. It seemed like it was carved.
That's a very odd description. It's a very specific choice,
(25:41):
like a brand. But then it would look like scar
tissue, right? Which is actually raised, but
she said carved. Which makes me think, could he
have been wearing something I'm picturing like some like?
Chess. Wooden or clay, I don't, I don't
know what kind of material, but a material that you could carve
into. Like a height of some kind
(26:03):
maybe? Something.
Wearing an animal mask. It was a very specific choice of
words to say it was carved into, not branded, not tattoo.
To me that gives me a very specific image.
Well, none of it matters now, because she's basically dead.
I'm just kidding. Just.
Kidding. No, she is dead.
But then she came back. She's dead again.
(26:25):
Dead again. There's the Brent twin, which is
frustrating. Yeah.
Again, are they both bad or is there one good guy that's tied
up somewhere? And.
There's no way they're going to bring this up if we're not going
to see them, right? I'm just kind of meeting the
twin. I kind of dig that We don't get
to get say goodbye to that accent.
Chekhov's gun. You don't bring something up
unless it's a plot device later. You don't just casually mention
(26:48):
facts like that like you do in real life, right?
Unless there's some plot point that comes in later.
On a scale from good to evil, where does Blaine lie in this
calculus? Because as weird and ick he can
be, maybe that's just what Stephen Ogg does.
(27:08):
Is he like a bad guy? Or is he somewhere in the middle
as as suss as he looks outwardly?
Evil Neutral. Chaotic Evil.
Yeah, he's not a great guy, but I don't think he's a big bad in
the show. I got to say it's it's like the
Negan thing where he says everyone thinks they're the good
guy. In his own mind, he thinks he's
(27:30):
he's doing the right thing. I wish I could fault him, but at
the same time, the screams of Wanda are still in my head with
the thing from the Angel that really it's, it affected me.
That's our word level. And I guess we're never going to
know if that Angel was there against its will.
Or it was just bound there, maybe bound to the area we're.
(27:51):
Never going to. Know, and they just were like
shoving Wanda Peterson up to itsskin and.
And they made lots of love, terrifying, traumatic noises.
I don't know. It was horrible.
Good on the show, by the way, for doing that to us.
I mean, thanks for the memories. So much happened in this episode
that I don't have a lot to reflect on.
(28:12):
You're wrapping up a lot of things too.
Yeah. So all I can do now is just wait
and say I'm really excited for the next two episodes.
I really want to know all this wraps up and also I promise over
this weekend I will read the rest of the comic book so that I
have something to like compare this to.
(28:33):
There's things that have happened in the comic book that
I'm like, well, that doesn't like really line up with this.
So maybe this is just going to be like different and I don't
really know what I can say and what I can't at this point.
The impression you gave me the last time you talked about it
was how there is a bit of a anthology style to the revival
books within the whole overall arc.
(28:55):
There's like little small stories, like these little
stories. And we haven't received any of
that. But like, again, I don't know if
there's more of that or was justlike at the beginning of it.
Just do more like story setup. I'm not really sure I can at
least give you like, here's Season 1, here's what I've seen
that's different so far because I think that that would be
really interesting at the end, maybe as like, just something to
(29:17):
bring up. Yeah.
It doesn't have to be for the next one, maybe for the last
one. Yeah.
And then you'd be like, well, isa matter of fact then, yeah, do
the thing you do so well. And it feels like also the show
is divergent from the books. We've diverged quite a bit.
But I'm interested to see if some of that stuff, like, comes
back in later. Maybe this is just further into
(29:39):
that. Or maybe this is like, no, we
have to set up all of these other stories so that we have
more than one season's worth of content.
Yeah. Oh.
And listen, even if they wrap everything up, there's no
telling where they can go based on whether they keep the revived
around and not or not. Send them to their alien Angel
way. There's so many places they can
(30:00):
go. Based like, well, we just
decided that Brent has a twin and whether you'll be mad about
that. Do you know what I mean?
Well, first of all, flashback episode, like, oh, he introduced
a twin, but then he also died right away.
Did he no, that that happened onfear The Walking Dead and we
were all ready. No, he didn't die.
His dog just died. Whatever.
He's still alive. But he was still alive.
(30:23):
But we never saw him again. He just disappeared.
He walked off into the sunset and everyone was like, oh, OK,
cool. You like what you heard?
Head on over to rate this podcast.
Com slash Walking Dead 5 Stars and a scarf.
Skeleton. Is all we need to know that you
love us? Tell us what you like to tell
us, what you didn't like. Tell us what you think we might
have missed. Just remember to tell us after
(30:44):
every single episode. And if you really like what
you've heard, you can just follow us if you'd like.
It helps on either ko-fi.com/walking dot repeat
shreon.com/walkingdead, where we've unveiled at the very
least. And if you're interested, taking
things further, our updated membership tiers, we ended up
finally, after all the discussions at the end of every
episode of like, oh, we might domore things with our
(31:04):
memberships. We did it.
And we basically got rid of the Great M tier and made that the
survivors tier. And we basically made the
survivors here. What is now the Whisperers here
and the walkers here is basically the same.
However, walkers will now receive credits at the end of
every episode, at least visually, and we will basically
shout out our whispers and survivors at the end of every
(31:25):
episode, which is incredible. I think that's a really good
compromise and gives a little extra value to the walkers after
all these years of doing listener based support, having
the Walker series eat crap basically for the most part for
all these years. And now they get their names
recognized in some form or fashion.
And I, you know, I hope, I hope you enjoy that.
And if that appeals to you, headon over to either ko-fi.com
(31:46):
slash quagga.patreon.com/quagga dead.
Check out those perks. Support what we do.
It's the thing to do. It's so hip and new.
Am I stemming? Can you tell me what that is
finally? Or what is stemming to be
stemmed? Stemming.
You're on mute. You're on mute.
(32:08):
Now she doesn't want to explain anything.
She just tried to explain. I don't want to do it now.
OK, Never mind. OK, just move on.
Bye Well, and again, you can always tip us on Kofi if you
really like what we do and see that that helps as well.
And you'll also for doing so getforever access to our Discord
and well, our undying appreciation, even if that
supported by content ends in 30 days.
(32:29):
I've been your host David Cameo, and I was joined by.
Cosmo Mom, 09. And Bridget, you can find me at
ko-fi.com/punky Brewster or youtube.com slash at Punky
Brewster. That's PUNKYBRUISETER and I
can't wait to react to and breakdown the next episode of
(32:52):
Revival next to We'll figure outwhen we're going to do that
because the only way to find outwhat and you should join us,
become a member, join us during these live watches because we
can't really open this up to thepublic.
That would be bad, no? No, no, no, no, no.
No, as as it is, we had to bleepthe the bottom part of the bar
where we got the screeners. Finally bet the end of the road
(33:15):
to these episodes. So, and again, for as little as
$4.00 a month, you can join us during these live watches.
And at the very least when you do follow, you'll get the update
from when we record next. And if you can't be there, you
can at least get this episode the streamable format after
we're done recording in full, unedited.
Take care everybody. We'll see you soon and remember
that we are squawking. Good bye, bye.
(33:39):
Bye. Send it already, Dave, thank you
for reaching the end of yet another episode of Squawking
Dead. This one revivals 8th episode of
its first season, which I hope you've been enjoying, titled A
Rose and a Thorn, This one coming in at a lot shorter a
runtime. And like I said, at the top, we
reformulated our memberships so that they're 3 instead of 4,
(34:01):
effectively making their Survivors tier, the new Grade M
tier, the Whispers tier, the oldSurvivors tier, and the Walkers
tier gets a little bit more recognition visually rather than
audibly. Still, starting with the
survivors here. Oh well, I guess we don't have
quite the list of survivors. In fact, we have none because I
advised on our social media and on our YouTube channel that one
(34:24):
can join a lower tier and still give more money in case they
don't want all the accolades at the end of every episode like
Ryan did. He was formerly a great M tier
member, now a Walker's tier member.
Not only that, he also increasedthe amount he gave per month, so
I thought it might be a good idea to show some gratitude and
(34:44):
love towards him for doing so, even though he's no longer part
of the upper tiers, namely the revamped versions of the
Survivors and the Whispers tier. But moving on to our Whispers
tier, we have brand new Whisperstier member Rob Lucchesi, who
you can find on TikTok under Rob's stuff under score N as in
Nancy under score Fangs THANGS, where you can catch his
(35:08):
collection of figurines, Funko Pops from The Walking Dead and
much much more. He does interact with the
comments by creating video replies to your input.
We also have at Kim dot rally the number one who renewed under
the new price of the whispers here, who may decide to join us
when The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon comes back.
(35:29):
I'm curious to see if she does and of course, at Skylar Rose PW
on both Instagram and X. That's about it for now, but I
hope to see many more of you guys sign up for these newly
revamped memberships joining us on screen as we discuss these
episodes or react to these episodes as well.
And I cannot wait to start editing the next episode, which
(35:50):
we already recorded the night before.
I'm voicing this over on September 1st, 2025, which is
why this is so confusing becauseI recorded this last week on
Wednesday, I think it was. And I already have the next
episode recorded and ready to edit down.
And tonight we're going to be recording the season finale and
all of this and more. You can keep up with way in
advance as things are being formulated when you either tip
(36:13):
us on Kofi or join a membership tier on either Kofi or Patreon.
Like we said earlier, Many thanks for making it to this
point in the recording and just remember that we are squawking
dead.
