Nick talks about how he grew as a person and decided he wanted to become a podcaster, how the name "Stranded Sports" evolved. He also highlights the show's signature segments and how the blog started as a result of the podcast. Finally, Nick talks about how he was diagnosed with liver cancer as a teenager after getting hit by a pitch playing baseball, the importance of Pittsburgh Children's Hospital to him, and how they gave back during a live show fundraiser that raised around $700 for the hospital.
