Writer-director Noam Kaplan's drama covers Israeli politics, the struggle for liberation and womanhood in his engrossing new drama, The Future. Jennifer Esposito chats with Chrystal about reinventing the organized crime genre, by centering women, in her directorial debut film, Fresh Kills. A powerful, layered drama exploring the complicated dynamics of a mob family.
