Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to standing Ground with Jeremy Lahey.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It happens to be a story of an older preacher
who was talking to a young preacher who hadn't had
as much experience, and he said to him, you know,
sometimes on Sunday morning they began to nod off, and
he says, I found a way to wake them up.
He says, right in my sermon, when I see them
beginning to doze, I say, last night I held in
my arms a woman who was the wife of another man.

(00:28):
And he said. That wakes him up. And he says,
then when they look at me startled, I say, it
was my dear mother. Well, the young preacher took that
to heart, and a few weeks later, sure enough they
are some of the more dozing off. So he remembered
what had been told him, and he said, last night
I held in my arms a woman was the wife

(00:49):
of another man. And they all looked at him, and
everyone was awake, And he says, I can't remember.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Who it was.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Last night, as I got home about or half past in,
there was the woman I'm going knew in the arms
of another man.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I kept my cool.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
I ain't no fool.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Let me tell you what happened. Then I packed some
clothes and I walked out.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
And I ain't going back again. So take a letter, Maria,
I dressed.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
To my wife, see I'm gonna be coming home.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
You gotta stun your life. Take a letter, Maria, I
dressed to my wife, said, I'm gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Be to my lord, I gotta side.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Standing ground is a production of Lakey Media.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
My girlfriend and I have differing political beliefs.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
So how should we handle our relationship when we have
a lot of the same values but differing political beliefs.

Speaker 7 (02:16):
Do you want the truth?

Speaker 8 (02:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:18):
Do not marry this girl, Okay. Do not marry someone
that you cannot talk about the daily news with. You
guys can laugh at it. Do not build a life
with somebody where you cannot agree on what daily news
channel to watch. I'm gonna be honest as someone who
is married. When you have to instill values in a child,

(02:38):
you cannot have the first elemental issue at seven am
when you turn on the radio or a podcast to
be disagreement. You got enough of that already in a home.
You need to have harmony. Build a life with someone
where you have agreement on the macro issues. You can
have disagreement on the micro issues. You need to agree
on religion, you need to agree on on eternity. You

(03:01):
need to agree on political matters. You could disagree on
what type of food you like, that's micro. You could
disagree on bedtime, right. You could disagree on the type
of cars or where you vacation. That is micro. Macro,
you must be in alignment. A house divided can't stand.
And that's the point is that there must be harmony.
So I'm a big believer in macro agreement. I'm not

(03:21):
trying to like rock your world here, but do not
try to change your girlfriend or your future fiance or
wife politically. It does not work. Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk
is exactly correct. Maybe maybe ten or fifteen years ago,

(03:42):
I would be capable of dating a woman who had
leftist ideals or a Democrat, and they would probably say
the same thing about us.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
I don't know. Well, actually no, I take that back.
They're worse. You could figure out a way to work
it out. You could do it. But I in my life,
I know for a fact that I could never ever
be in relationship with a woman who's an anti Maga,

(04:21):
anti Trump, left wing loonbag because I used to refer
to them as Democrats. I don't anymore because they've lost
their cookies. But the point being, and I think Charlie
Kirk makes a great point there, is that it's not
going to work. I think the point saying, yeah, you

(04:43):
can disagree on little things, on things as passionate as
political ideology. Your marriage is heading right or your relationship
is heading right to an iceberg. Okay. So anyway, it's
not my topic today. We've got major catch up stuff
to do. The riots in La well look like anything

(05:10):
else in the last fifty sixty seventy years in this country.
This kind of stuff, believe it or not, sadly is
nothing new. Yet the media is back on their mostly
peaceful bullshit ran. So that's what we're gonna do. In
my first break. I want to just I want to

(05:33):
wrap up for now the Biden dementia scandal, okay, and
where I think that's going at this point, and then
we're gonna get in. We're gonna spend a lot of
time on what's going on in la I got a
lot of good audio today from a lot of people,
and we'll get into that, and also on the list
is Michelle Obama is up to her old tricks again,

(05:58):
going on our podcast and uh chastising women for supporting
Donald Trump. And of course she obviously doesn't realize that
you don't win voters back by talking down to them
like that. Uh she she's dreadful. But anyway, okay, Uh,
I'm Jeremy lay. This is standing Ground. This is Mojo
five Radio. My email Standing Ground seventeen seventy six at

j e r e m y. Let's get the show started.
I got a little something for you, those of you
on the conservative side of the aisle. I'm gonna play

(06:43):
you some audio that would that that proves ex pruse
Charlie Kirk to be absolutely correct, you could not date
someone who is a liberal today. All right, welcome onboard.
Let's get this show on the road.

Speaker 9 (06:59):
Knowing that we're we're about to go through, the only
silver lining is it's actually gonna suck for all you
Trump voters. Way more than it's gonna suck for us
Blue voters because we actually have educations and good jobs.
Y'all are broke as fox, so it's really gonna suck
for you.

Speaker 10 (07:17):
I means the possibility me losing more of my right
and that being a real threat is insane.

Speaker 11 (07:30):
Stop dating man, Stop having suck with men, Stop talking
to men.

Speaker 9 (07:34):
Divorce your husbands, leave your boyfriends, leave them.

Speaker 12 (07:38):
He voted for that man.

Speaker 13 (07:40):
You need to leave him.

Speaker 14 (07:40):
You need to leave him. I'm sorry, I'm done.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
I'm done. I'm done with you, my wake up mother.
I'm not with you and your mother and your sister.
I'm just done with all of this. Now that the
orange turd has won, we should now rename America Hell,
because it is going to be hell on earth.

Speaker 12 (08:29):
Such a feelings common name.

Speaker 15 (08:34):
There is wondering most everything, as say, not a cloud
in the sky got the sun in my eyes, and
that won't be surprised if itit's a dream.

Speaker 10 (08:49):
You ugly dumb bitches who voted for him too, You
guys are a piece of you. Guys have internalized misogyny,
and you're dumb.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
You're stupid.

Speaker 9 (08:56):
You're gonna go ahead and say that I think if
you voted for Donald Trump, you're ugly. I think you're
all freaking ugly, and I think you're dumb as bricks.

Speaker 15 (09:06):
Today he is now coming through, especially farming.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
And the clear.

Speaker 10 (09:16):
It's because you.

Speaker 15 (09:18):
Are the nearest thing to heaven.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Let us see.

Speaker 9 (09:24):
The only silver lining is it's actually gonna suck for
all you Trump voters way more than it's gonna suck
for us Blue voters, because we actually have educations and
good jobs. Y'all are broke as fox, So it's really
gonna suck for you.

Speaker 10 (09:35):
I mean, it's the possibility of me losing more of
my right and that being the real threat.

Speaker 13 (09:43):
Top.

Speaker 16 (09:45):
Down creation and the only explanation I can find.

Speaker 13 (09:55):
Since you've been all lost me, it's all gonna be
taken away because of it.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
I'm shaking yours off.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
You're listening to standing ground with Jeremy, Lady.

Speaker 17 (10:28):
There's also been a lot of discussion recently about your mental.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
And physical capabilities while you.

Speaker 10 (10:34):
Were in office.

Speaker 18 (10:35):
You can see that mentally incompetent, and I can't watch
and if you beat the hell out of lovers, feel
like everybody expect I've done it all because I'm loyal.

Speaker 19 (10:45):
I drew it every day and year. Very again, I
never forget to.

Speaker 20 (10:52):
Do you have any regrets?

Speaker 21 (10:54):
I'm very proud.

Speaker 19 (10:55):
I hope my record is a present is any president
at all.

Speaker 22 (11:01):
Content?

Speaker 19 (11:02):
He says this some story if we pretty good, Enstens,
the guy.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
I rand and last okay, that was that was early
last week. He was at some events somewhere. They propped
him up and he walked over to this reporter. No
I didn't really hear really what he said there, but
he's mumbling and mumbling and dumbling again. But anyway, when
you see the clip, let me just give you the vista.

(11:27):
He goes and he gets right up close to this
young reporter, obviously moving in for a Biden a Biden sniff.
So he's back in creepy mode. All right, I'm German, lady.
This is standing ground. This is Mojo Fiber radio. Now,
what's going on in La The old expression wagged the dog, right,

(11:49):
is that it has taken the Well, yeah, the compass
is going in a different direction away from what I
repeatedly said is the biggest scandal in our nation's history
when it comes to the executive branch. Anyway, that the
President United States was completely incapacitated and we were lied

(12:10):
to and we were deceived and all that kind of thing.
So I want to spend some time on that, and
then we're going to get to LA all right, Well,
the House Oversight Committee, chaired by James Comer has been
They've already started the process of sending letters out requesting
interviews whatnot with individuals, and a lot of people are

(12:31):
on that list. We talked about that last time, right,
including most likely the first lady, who I think is
should be charged with elder abuse. But anyway, there you
have it. So we're waiting to see all this information
coming in. But there have been leaks since the book
came out, the book What Is That Original Sin by

(12:53):
Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson and it's people are now
coming out and they're trying to do their best to
save face, to try and say, okay, hang on a
minute here, you know I should have done this, I
should have said this. The big story of the week, well, yeah,
pretty big story is that greene Jean Pierre, the one

(13:14):
the one who went to the podium every day and
lied to the American people about Joe Biden's condition, has
now left the Democratic party. She's got a book coming
out and she's left the party, and I don't know,
maybe she's trying to get some type of quasi plausible
deniability or something like that, but she's definitely on the

(13:35):
subpoenal list. But anyway, listen to Senator Josh Holly and
what he discovered.

Speaker 23 (13:41):
This Secret Service whistleblower actually was assigned to Biden, and
he told me that Biden used to get lost in
his closet in the mornings in the White House. I mean,
the guy literally stumbling around in the White House residents
couldn't find his way out of his own closet, the
president of the United States. I mean, this is outrageous.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
You we have to take that story or accusation from
that Secret Service agent at face value. I don't know
why a Secret Service agent would be in a position
to lie about something like that, but it's it's it's
not surprising because dementia, things like that happen. They will
literally get lost in a closet. But you still, you know,

(14:25):
you still get the We'll get into the defenders in
a minute, but it continues because there are politicians on
the other side of the aisle. No one's No, one's
really well. Some have. Some Democrats, while mostly in the media,
are coming out and trying to say, like, you know,
maybe we got this one. Like I said, you know,
they're they're covering their butts. But Mike Johnson, yeah, Mike.

(14:50):
Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson described an experience that
he had with Biden not long after becoming Speaker about
liquid natural gas and this is how it went.

Speaker 24 (15:02):
Sir, why did you pause LNG exports to Europe? Like
I don't understand. You know, liquified natural gas is in
great demand by our allies. Why would you do that
because you understand we just talked about Ukraine. You understand
you're fuel in Vladimir Putin's war machine because they got
to get their gas from him, you know.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
And he looks at.

Speaker 24 (15:18):
Me, stunned with this, and he said, I didn't I
didn't do that. I said, miss President, you yes, you did.
It was an executive order like you know, three weeks ago,
and he goes, no, I didn't do that. He's arguing
with me, and he genuinely did not know what he had.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Signed, probably because he didn't sign it. You'll auto pen Oh,
by the way, if you go on Amazon. I got
a great shirt and I had it. I got it
last week and it says auto pen Approved twenty twenty five.
You know, I guess you could get one that says
twenty twenty four on it. But anyway, I've got it.

(15:52):
It becomes it is, it's it's a conversation shirt. People
will you know. I've gotten a few reactions and a
few wings, a few smiles, and a couple of unpleasant looks.
But because nowadays you have to be very, very careful,
because somebody on the left is liable to do something
really nasty, even though for something as mundane as that
is okay. So it continues this whole thing with Joe Biden.

(16:15):
Now Jake Tapper is out on the tour circuit speaking
and listen to what he had to say.

Speaker 25 (16:23):
Here there's a Senator Senat Bennet from Colorado who went
to an event in June twenty twenty four where Biden
seemed non functioning, and he left that event, and this
is in the book thinking this is why our border
policy or immigration policy is such a mess. This guy
can't manage the portfolio. They're competing groups within the administration
and he's not engaged for whatever reason. And that's why

(16:47):
this policy is such a mess.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking the same thing
I am, and that is why is it all coming
out now? And it's it's multifold, I guess. I mean,
I wouldn't to me, it's it's it's pretty simple. The
media was in cahoots with the White House. Not directly

(17:09):
in cahoots with the White House, I don't believe, but
I believe that they were running interference for them in
a way. They they were protecting Joe Biden because of
this thread of Donald Trump from the outside. But at
the same time, at the same time, that doesn't mean
that that the White House personnel that deficiates them from
committing wrongdoing. I mean, you take an internal White House

(17:35):
staff who set up their own little board of regis
to run the country while this guy was gurgling on
oatmeal every day and didn't know where he was. Huge,
huge story, all right. I'm German Lay. This is Standing Ground.

(17:55):
Twitter x at leahy l E a h y jeremy.
That's at leahy l e a h y jeremy. All right, well,
here is the rare voice of reason from the Democrat side.
Here's Bill Martin.

Speaker 26 (18:09):
If you really thought Trump was the existential threat he was,
then you know, to your point earlier, why put up Biden?
If it was really that important? I mean, Democrats will
never be able to answer that question. If that election
was really that important, you couldn't summon the courage to
confront an old man that your time has passed.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
It's a fair point that Bill Maher makes. But you
know who would get in the way of that, and
that is Mary of Scott's doctor Jill Biden, because we
all know that she was the one that was getting
in the way of people getting to him and saying, look,

(18:52):
you really need to you need to pack it in
because she was so obsessed and power hungry. And the
word on the say the word is any evidence here?
Because I have to What I'm here here say is
that she was an absolute nightmare to be around when
she was first lady, Are you guys aware that she

(19:14):
got so she One of the first things she did
is that she demanded that she have an Air Force
one jacket with her name on it that said doctor
Jill Biden, which I guess first ladies get them, staff
gets them. So okay, I'll kind of dismiss that one.
But the one, the one that really cracks me up.
And it only happened once. She requested that the Marine

(19:36):
band compose a song for her entitled the First Lady's March.
Get you heard Me? So every time she walked into
a room like Hail to the Chief of the President,
they played this march for her. And they played it
once and the story got out and they never played
it again. So someone had to put Mary of Scott's

(20:00):
in her place. All right, Well, okay, the clip I'm
about to play this is Kevin McCarthy on with Jesse Waters.
This is like, this is a little while back, but
he described this experience. By the way, Biden was still
president when he went public with this of an experience
he had with Joe Biden, when Joe Biden invited him

(20:23):
over to the White House for coffee or something like that.
I mean, he's a Republican, Bide's a Democrat, but you
know he is the speaker. Come over, I want to
meet you. Shake hands. Wet's see if we can get
along hopefully, And it's it's January, it's the middle of winter,
and Kevin McCarthy telling this story, I just feel like
I'm just in the room with them because I'm laughing

(20:44):
so hard at what he's telling us. All right, roll it.

Speaker 20 (20:48):
When you were behind the scenes with them negotiating, what
did you see?

Speaker 27 (20:53):
Well, what I would do, he'd always go with the cards, right.
So what I learned early on, he has to read
from him, and once he starts reading, I was interject
and then he didn't know what to do, and he
was stuggled, and then he'd close it and just stop,
and then Kamala would have to start talking. So it
was a play. It was a play I used every time.
There was one time we were sitting there and where

(21:13):
he's taking us on a tour. Then all of a sudden,
he goes, do you want to go out to the pool?

Speaker 8 (21:18):
What?

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Yes?

Speaker 27 (21:19):
And then Jill's on the other side of the table
with me. She said no, they don't want to go out.
He goes, you don't want to go out? Then he
opens the door and he walked it's window time, and
he walks us down to the swimming pool into the
changing room. What yes, And then he walked back up
and he's created this little room outside the Oval office
to be a little office for him. Now, President Trump
had it as a gift shop, but Clinton used it

(21:42):
for something else. But he's made it a little office
for himself, like ten feet away from the Oval office.
Why like a little mini office office, like a little
cubby hole between you and I. It's all it does
is have a little desk in there. And then it
has one of those valets.

Speaker 28 (22:00):
And when I.

Speaker 27 (22:00):
Walked in, it had a blue dress shirt all wrinkled.
Look when does a person take a shirt off?

Speaker 20 (22:05):
Taking his shirt off?

Speaker 27 (22:06):
And then but why didn't they clean up?

Speaker 1 (22:08):
I don't know what you changed it?

Speaker 27 (22:09):
And then we come walking back and I'm thinking, oh
my gosh, please don't show this to any other world leader.

Speaker 20 (22:14):
Oh my god, I will tell you Democrats, Kevin, I
can't believe he showed you the pool in the middle
of the but not just a pool the dress dressing room. Yes,
when he got to the dressing room, what did he
say in the dressing room?

Speaker 3 (22:26):
At first he got to the.

Speaker 29 (22:27):
Door and it was locked, and then some secret service
comes open to them like, what are we doing now?

Speaker 3 (22:37):
That is classic sinility. That is classic. Do you want
to go out and see the pool in the middle
of January? No, it's freezing out, especially in DC. And
I don't know. Maybe that's like his lifeguarding days coming
back to him or something like that. I don't know.
And but the way Kevin McCarthy told that story, it

(22:59):
was very it's interesting, but it's also entertaining. At the
same time, Well, somebody out else out there speaking of
closets in the White House, former President Bill Clinton. He
went on the view to discuss this matter, and well,

(23:19):
let me play the cut, and I'm going to give
him the benefit of the doubt. But I I'm pretty
sure he's full of shit. But then ayway, I'm going
to give him a little break on this one. Okay,
here we go.

Speaker 30 (23:30):
Did you ever have a moment with him where you
thought maybe he was unfit to run for the president? No.

Speaker 31 (23:38):
I thought he was a good president. The only concern
I thought he had to deal with was could anybody
do that job? Until they were eighty six, and we
did several long talks. I had never seen him and
walked away thinking he can't do this. Anymore. He was
always on top.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
Of his first bullshit, never saw any.

Speaker 31 (24:02):
So I didn't know anything about any of this. And
I haven't read the book. That's all Brother Bouden, not
very long ago. And I thought he was in good shit.

Speaker 20 (24:11):
We knew Baba was in great shape when he was president.
He never wandered into a closet alone.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Good line, Jesse Waters, good line, just quickly. And I'm
not a doctor, and I don't play one on the radio,
but doing it my own research and having friends in
the medical field. Dementia, you can have moments where you're
totally lucid and you're fine. And to give Bill Clinton
the benefit of the doubt, he may have been around

(24:40):
him when he was just having a good day. I
have a dear friend, a relative in our family whose
mother was suffering from dementia. And then I said, oh,
I went by the house to see her. I said,
everything's fine. She knew who I was. We sat down,
we had a cup of coffee, we shooting the breeze.
Whatever she take carots. She asked me about everything she

(25:02):
remembers me, and like that. And this friend of ours
relatives said, well, you got her on a good day.
So that's that's basically what it is. So Bubba may
have gotten him on a good day, but even if
he didn't, I think he would. Well. Bill Clinton just
has no problem lying. I mean, that's just he's he's

(25:23):
that's his it's his middle name. But anyway, well, then
you have then you have the fourth estate. You've got
the media, and you got people like Chuck Todd out
there saying, well, it really wasn't our fault, it's it's
it's the party. Well, to me, it was a two
way street. There's a lot of blame to go around.
Uh oh wait, wait, go ahead, fire, let's play. Listen
to Chuck Todd, Listen to what he says here.

Speaker 11 (25:44):
There's almost an eagerness to blame the press without looking
at actual who should be blamed here, And it's the
leadership and frankly the members of the Biden administration and
the leadership of the Democratic Party who they're the ones
that lied. Look, at the end of the day, no
journalists is as good as their sources. The end of
the day, the Democratic Party lied to the American people.

(26:05):
The leaders party lied to the American people. And that's
where the scandal should be centered.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Yes, and no, but you say scandal, and where the
scandal where they need to focus on is not really
so much the DNC, but it's the people that were,
as the liberals like to say, who were in Joe
Biden's orbit. They love that in his orbit, people that

(26:32):
were closest to him as family members, close advisors, that
lied to us, and press secretaries and deputy press secretaries
and other individuals and the cabinet that went out and
said he's sharp as attack and they, you know, I
have trouble keeping up with them, she said the press
secretary one day, I have trouble keeping up on them. Bullshit.

(26:53):
So it's just it's just it's they're backed into a
corner at this point. Actually, I have not seen a
book since All the President's Men that came out in
nineteen seventy three that has really garnered more serious attention.
This is not a gossip tell all book. I mean,

(27:16):
you could call it a tell all book, but the
research was so well done and most people in the
Democratic Party are not really questioning it. They're not. And
of course the issue now, of course, is the infamous
autopen here's in exchange with the kroenline Levitt and Peter Doucy.

Speaker 32 (27:38):
When do you look at these last minute Biden pardons,
the big ones, Biden siblings, Fauci January sixth committees. Most
of the big ones had the same, very neat signature.
We would expect that probably to be the autopen. There
is one that looks different. It looks authentic.

Speaker 33 (27:58):
In fact, if you look at the last thing, it
almost looks like the President was having a hard time spelling.

Speaker 12 (28:02):
His last name.

Speaker 33 (28:02):
There is this White House of the opinion that the
only pardon that would count is one that the presidents
signed himself.

Speaker 17 (28:11):
It's very interesting, very interesting props. If you want to
bring them to my office later so I can take
a closer look, I would like to do that. The
President is making a good point when he discusses the
usage of the autopen. Who was running the country for
the past four years. Perhaps those documents were signed with
the autopen. Something that this I believe the Department of

(28:32):
Justice is looking into. As you saw Ed Martin made
an announcement at the Department of Justice this morning to launch
an investigation because the American people deserve answers.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Hopefully we'll get them, but don't hold your breath. I
think it'll I think it'll get interesting when the subpoenas
go out and we'll see who defies those subpoenas. And
let's see if they get bannoned. Right, Let's see if
they get arrested, like Steve Bannon for ignoring a congressional subpoena,
subpoena or uh, Peter Navarro, they're gonna they arrested him.

(29:04):
Let's see if Karine Jean Pierre gets a subpoena and
she ignores it and she's in contempt of Congress. Let's
see if Let's see if she if she gets arrested,
we'll see what happens. So no one is above the law. Okay,
when we get back La, the crown Jewel of the West.

Speaker 20 (29:25):
Upon our return, when you were behind the scenes through
them negotiating, what did.

Speaker 27 (29:31):
You see, Well, what I would do, he'd always go
with the cards, right. So what I learned early on,
he has to read from him. And once he starts reading,
I was interject and then he didn't know what to
do and he was stut and then he'd close it
and just stop, and then Kamala would have to start talking.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
So it was a play.

Speaker 27 (29:47):
It was a play I used every time. There was
one time we were sitting there and where he's taking
us on a tour. Then all of a sudden, he goes,
do you want to go out to the pool?

Speaker 3 (29:57):
What yes?

Speaker 27 (29:58):
And then Jill's on the other side of the table
with me. He said no, they don't want to go out.
He goes, you don't want to go out? Then he
opens the door and he walked it's window time, and
he walks.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Us down to the swimming pool.

Speaker 27 (30:07):
Into the changing room.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
What yes?

Speaker 27 (30:10):
And then we walk back up and he's created this
little room outside the Oval Office to be a little
office for him. Now President Trump had it as a
gift shop, right, but Clinton used it for something else.
But he's made it a little office for himself, like
ten feet away from the Oval office. Why it's like
a little mini office office, like the little cubby hole

(30:32):
between you and I. And it's all it does is
have a little desk in there. And then it has
one of those valets. And when I walked in, it
had a blue dress shirt all wrinkled. Look, when does
the president take a shirt off?

Speaker 20 (30:44):
Taking his shirt off?

Speaker 3 (30:45):
And then but why didn't.

Speaker 28 (30:46):
They clean up?

Speaker 20 (30:47):
I don't know what you changed it.

Speaker 27 (30:48):
And then we come walking back and I'm thinking, oh
my gosh, please don't show this to any other world leader.

Speaker 26 (30:53):
Oh my god, I will tell you.

Speaker 20 (30:55):
Democrats, Kevin, I can't believe if he showed you the
pool in the middle of the but not just a
dress dressing room. When he got to the dressing room,
what did he say in the dressing room?

Speaker 29 (31:05):
At first he got to the door, it was locked.
Some secret service comes open.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
I was like, what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (31:23):
Oh, I'm the traffic guy who will never settle down
where every girls are?

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Well, you know that I'm around. I kiss somebody, I
love him.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Who calls me?

Speaker 3 (31:35):
They're all the same. I how coome and I squeeze him.

Speaker 12 (31:39):
They don't even know my name.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
They call me the wonder of.

Speaker 34 (31:43):
Wonder.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Um, I'm around, around, around, around.

Speaker 16 (31:48):
Oh, well, it's.

Speaker 35 (31:50):
Floor on my left coming, there's Mary on my right,
and Janie is the girl.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Well then I'll be with the night.

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Tell when she.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
Asked me you it's well of the best.

Speaker 12 (32:02):
The char of a muster a Rosie goes a.

Speaker 20 (32:08):
M When he got to the dressing room, what did
he say in the dressing room?

Speaker 27 (32:16):
At first he got to the door and.

Speaker 29 (32:17):
It was locked. Some secret service comes open to them,
like what.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Are we doing? I'm you're listening to Standing Ground with
Jeremy Lady.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
Are you but heard about a recent election? Are you
depressed that Joey Reid and Don Lemon are no longer
on the air. Do you get uncontrollably angry when you
see Elon Musk slashing more government waste? Are you sad
that men can no longer have periods? If so, liberal
might be the solution for you. One daily dose of
liberal can turn that liberal frown upside down.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
Just one red.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Pill can make your day so much better. You'll be
laughing at online means. You'll dress a little better than
the loser you once were. You'll think a veteran at
the coffee shop. You'll go sailing on the Gulf of America.
You'll think more closely about the food you put.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
In your body.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
You might even break up with the mainstream media and
start watching some honest news liberal. It will dry those
liberal tears and replace them with based cheers. Liberal may
aus breakups with socialist friends, unfollows from celebrities.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
And a new found purpose in life.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
Consult your doctor as long as They're not bought off
by big farmer.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
You're listening to standing ground with Jeremy, Lady, he.

Speaker 5 (33:34):
Can kiss both sides of my ass.

Speaker 36 (34:01):
President Donald Trump has ordered two thousand National Guard troops
to disperse protesters who were rioting on the streets of
Los Angeles, furious about dozens of immigration raids across the city.
As tensions billed into a second day. The dramatic escalation
by the White House has been slammed by some Democrats
as inflammatory.

Speaker 14 (34:22):
A city on edge as the fight over who can
call America home explodes. Riot police deployed flash bangrenades and
tear gas, and even used rummer bullets to clear crowns

(34:43):
gathering unlawfully, but as day turned to dusk, the chaos
still could not be contained, with cars set alite and
slows against immigration enforcement graffitied over the city. Earlier, this
man in the helmet was filmed throwing rocks at border
patrol vans. Others blocked what appeared to be a Marshall

(35:05):
Service vehicle.

Speaker 37 (35:06):
They could not kidnap people in our community today because
the people came out to resist.

Speaker 14 (35:10):
Senior White House aide Stephen Miller condemned the scenes as
a violent insurrection against the United States. While ringside at
the UFC, President Trump landed a few hits of his own,
deploying the National Guard to la and blaming Californian Democrats
for the chaos, posting if Governor Gavin Nuskum and Mayor

(35:31):
Karen Bass can't do their jobs, which everyone knows they can't,
then the federal government will step in and solve the problem.
A problem protesters claim, he started.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
You know what this is like. This is like a
family that has like a bunch of teenagers, young people,
and the parents go away for the weekend and when
they come home the house has been trashed. Right, they
have not. They have no control over there, over their
offspring none. So somebody else needs to come in and

(36:08):
help them. So basically, the way I view this whole
thing is Karen Karen the ass, Bass the ass and
Gavin Nooskam are incompetent parents. They have no parental authority
and they need help, serious help. Well, as you know

(36:30):
by now, this is now going on day five, moving
into day six of the quote mostly peaceful protests and
people are getting all worked up because Trump is using
the National Guard that has never been done before in
this country, right, Jack Kennedy, the segregation riots in Alabama

(36:55):
and the South, Eisenhower, Truman, George Bush Senior deployed troops
to LA after the Rodney King verdict. But now all
of a sudden, Tunnel's Trump is doing it and it's
never happened before. Did you have when you take a

(37:17):
position on an issue like this, it's simple, are you
for law and order? Do you think it is okay
for people to be destroying property, killing people, maiming people,
setting cop cars and other cars cars on fire, destroying property,
racking up millions upon millions of dollars in expenses that

(37:41):
it's going to get built to the taxpayer, there's you
you can't justify it. But January sixth, it was over
in three hours. And you know what I'll say it,
January sixth was mostly peaceful. The amount of people that
went in there and actually was doing damage and breaking

(38:05):
and busting things was a very small percentage of the
totality of the of the total amount of people that
were at the riot, and a majority of them went
into the Capitol and they just walked around. But it
was an insurrection, and we had to have hearings. Do
you think we're going to have hearings on what happened

(38:26):
in La? How the hell did how the hell did? Governor?
Did you let this get out of control?

Speaker 1 (38:32):
All right?

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Well, yesterday, two days ago, Pete Hegseth, our Secretary of Defense,
was up on the hill testifying, and he's being questioned
by Congresswoman Betty mcclun. I think I got that right.
She was questioning about the getting ready to deploy about
seven hundred Marines to Los Angeles to assist in restoring order.

(38:58):
And this is how it went.

Speaker 38 (39:00):
Mister Secretary, were both from Minnesota. I was in the
Twin Cities during the riots that followed the murder of
George Floyd. Tens of thousands of protesters took to the
streets for days. Governor Walls made the decision to call
up the Minnesota National Guard. At no point did we
need the citizens of Minnesota request that the Marines be deployed.

(39:22):
Our state and local law enforcement, along with our National Guard,
who have worked on crowd control, they were more than enough.
They were more than capable of handling this situation. History
has proven that law enforcement and the National Guard are
more than capable of handling situations more volatile than what

(39:42):
happened this weekend. We all see the continuous loops on TV,
but this looks nothing like the George Floyd protests or
the Rodney King riots on Los Angeles in nineteen ninety two.
Mister Secretary, this is a deeply unfair position to put
our marines in. Their service should be honored, it should
not be exploited.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
Well, congress Woman, thank you for the question.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
You are right.

Speaker 39 (40:04):
We're both originally from Minnesota, which is why I recall
twenty twenty quite well when Governor Walts abandoned a police
precinct and allowed it to be burned to the ground
and also allowed five days of chaos to occur inside
the streets of Minneapolis.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
Not only that the summer of twenty twenty, but it
was Democrats that were calling for it and funding it.
And Kamala Harris set up a fund to bail people
out of jail that had been arrested for throwing molotov
cocktails into police stations. The former attorney general of the

(40:44):
state of California was just setting up a fund, a
pot of cash to get thugs out of jail. And
if you're watching the coverage of this. Right when you
when you break glass and go into an Apple store
and steal it, you're not protesting. I think a lot
of these people, I think a lot of them are

(41:06):
being paid. But I also think they're just out to
get themselves a new plasma TV. That's what it comes
down to. Leave it to Sonny Austin of the View
to try and play this whole. It's all across the board.
When you watch the coverage, they it's no, it's only
very small areas and most people are being very peaceful.

(41:28):
Not not what I've seen seen. The highways being blocked
and there's there's cops, their SUVs are are up in flames.
It's not anyway. Listen listen to listen to Sunny Austin.

Speaker 30 (41:41):
I spoke to about five people that live in LA,
that work in LA, and they said that these protests
were very, very orderly, they weren't violent, and they occurred
in about a four block radius.

Speaker 40 (42:07):
I can't wait to know you take off your bags,
big boy.

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Bro program. That's a hard setting. And this was Mexico.

Speaker 21 (42:38):
Bill.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
That doesn't sound like a nice casual summer block party
with hot dogs and snow cones. Uh, it's it sounds
pretty bad. And the individuals who are instigating it, we
know who they are, are setting American flags on fire,
the country that they want to stay in, and they're

(43:03):
flying the flag of the country that they don't want
to go back to. This is how screwed up they are.
Listen to Ronda Santas.

Speaker 21 (43:10):
They're objecting because they don't want to get kicked out
of America, and yet they're burning the American flag, and
yet they're waving the flag of the country that they
don't want to get sent back to. Can you please
make this make sense to me?

Speaker 3 (43:24):
I mean, it's insane, don't I don't think. I don't
think insane even describes it. It's just there's nothing funny
about it. What's funny is how the left is speaking
about it and talking about it, and the way the
media is addressing and saying, ah, you know, it's just
not really.

Speaker 34 (43:42):
It's not that bad.

Speaker 3 (43:43):
You know, it's really really bad. All right. I'm Jeremy Lady.
This is Standing Ground. This is Mojo Fiber Radio. My
emails Standing Ground one seven seven six at gmail dot com.
Standing Ground one seven seven six at gmail dot com.
Follow me on Twitter. X at leahy l e a
h y jeremy er emy. Okay, here's the president.

Speaker 18 (44:04):
People with big heavy hammers pounding the concrete and pounding curbs,
pounding and breaking up and handing these big chunks of
concrete to people. And they would taking that concrete, going
up in bridges and dropping it into the roof of
a car. They were throwing it at our police. They
were throwing it at our soldiers that are there. I
could tell you there were certain areas of that of

(44:26):
Los Angeles as that you could have called it an insurrection.
It was terrible. But these are paid insurrection that these
are paid troublemakers.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
They get money agreed and then leave it to the
talking heads on Sunday morning. They didn't put this woman's
name up in the bottom of the screen. I don't
really care. Listen to this clown.

Speaker 38 (44:47):
Remember that California was part of Mexico. All of the
southwest is Mexico, so the routes are really deep in
that region.

Speaker 28 (44:55):
And what they're saying is no, not in our community.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
Well, last time I checked, we won the Mexican American War.
So there you have it. But hey, look where else
to get what people are really feeling, and that is
the illegal on the street. Here's one being interviewed with
a car on fire behind him.

Speaker 41 (45:16):
I don't agree with the term illegal. We're on documentary.
We've been here for thousands of years before you guys
showed up screw up everything. We're anti capitalists. We think
socialism does work, real socialism.

Speaker 8 (45:31):
Is there a.

Speaker 7 (45:31):
Country we can look to to kind of model the
socialism idea.

Speaker 41 (45:36):
The only model with the Soviet Union in the first
four years.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
I love that. I an illegal immigrant and illegal A
Cremalian is saying, hey, until you guys showed up, you
came into our country illegally. Sorry that you're getting in trouble. Okay, well,
then they Karen the mayor of La Karen Bass, the ass.

(46:02):
Karen Bass, the ass comes out to the microphone and
listen to what comes out of her pile. I would say,
stop the raids, stop the raids period.

Speaker 35 (46:11):
I would say, give the power back to our governor,
and if we need the national Guard, we can do
it in their normal circumstances, which is the request is
made local and the governor decides or not to grant that.

Speaker 14 (46:24):
To our city.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
Mayor. You're obviously not capable of dealing with a situation
like that, and the chief executive of your state, Gavin Noosecom,
he's not capable of dealing with it either. Obviously it
was you know, hey, look, if you continue to do

(46:46):
these raids, there's going to be more riots. Well if
they riot, well, I mean, we're just going to have
to deal with it. But the president is the chief
law enforcement agent in the country. He's trying. He made
a campaign promise to get illegals out. That's what he's
doing because they're in violation of the law. And these

(47:07):
elected officials that come in and say, well, we'll decide
what the law is in our city. No, you're getting
in the way.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Now.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
I know that there has been threats of arresting Gavin Newscomb.
It probably won't happen. The president could do it, provide well,
I mean, it would have to be Newscom really getting
in the way and obstructing. You know. Oh, it is
a big old mess. Okay, here's more from Donald Trump.

Speaker 7 (47:36):
Mister president. These protests obviously started in reaction to these
large scale ice operations in Los Angeles. Should people expect
to see similar operations in the rest of the country
and we'll similar protests, see similar responses.

Speaker 18 (47:46):
As you know, we're moving murderers out of our country
that we're put here by Biden or the Autopen. The
Autopen really did. We're not going to let him stay.
And this is the first, perhaps of many, or perhaps
if we didn't attack this one very strongly, you'd have
them all over the country. But I can inform the
rest of the country that when they do it, if

(48:07):
they do it, they're going to be met with equal
or greater force than we met right here.

Speaker 3 (48:12):
That's always the narrative. It's Donald Trump's fault. The President
of the United States is enforcing the law, and people
don't like it, so they're setting buildings and cars on
fire and killing people and maiming people because the president

(48:34):
is doing his job. Gavin Newsom got caught in a
lie when he said that he never spoke to Donald Trump.
Here's the President talking about his conversation with Governor Newskimp.

Speaker 18 (48:51):
Called him up to tell him kind of do a
better job. He's doing a bad job, causing a lot
of death and a lot of potential death if we
didn't send out the National Guard. And last time we
gave him a little additional help you would have Los
Angeles would be burning right now. The radical left, it's
usually radical left, and it's usually governors that are Democrat,

(49:15):
and they don't want to call them in. They don't
want to save lives, they don't want to save property,
they don't want to call them in. I don't know
what it is.

Speaker 3 (49:22):
New scum said that he never spoke to the president,
and then Donald Trump gave a Fox reporter his call
log from his cell phone where it shows that they
spoke for sixteen minutes. So I don't know how Gavin
Newsom's going to get out of that one. But anyway,
there you have it, all right. I'm German Lee. This
is standing around, This is Mojo viv Radio, fun times,
fun times, and not to be hyperbolic, but I'll be

(49:46):
hyperbolic anyway. It's not going to get better over the
next couple of days. It's going to get worse. These
are extremely organized as people like George Soros that are
funding There are some quote protesters somehow who have gotten
their hands on professional like police gear. How do they
afford that? I mean a vest and there are thousands

(50:09):
of dollars and somehow they're getting all this equipment. I
wonder where they're getting the money to do that. Yeah,
thank you George Sorows and others. All right, quick break,
and when we get back, Terry Moran from ABC News.
There were some reports this morning that ABC has fired him,
but I guess that has not been confirmed yet. I

(50:30):
think he's going to be fired, but he was suspended
for doing something that's not really surprising, but ABC had
no choice with that. Okay, I'm Jeremy Lay. This is
standing Ground quick break, talk to you on the of
the side. Breaking news.

Speaker 42 (50:47):
Protesters and federal agents clashing in southern California over recent
ice arrests. This video showing the violent confrontations outside of
federal building in downtown, LA. Police cracking down on protesters,
declaring it an unlawful assembly, ordering the crown to go home.
This is the second day of chaos and vandalism tonight.

(51:07):
Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nome warning the protesters, you will
not stop us or slow us down.

Speaker 30 (51:14):
The same thing. I spoke to about five people that
live in LA, that work in LA, and they said
that these protests were very, very orderly, they weren't violent,
and they occurred in about a four block radius.

Speaker 16 (51:31):
Than back.

Speaker 40 (51:41):
I can't wait to know you take off your beds,
big boy.

Speaker 43 (51:53):
This is hard sety and this was Mexico.

Speaker 18 (52:12):
We are only people to build.

Speaker 17 (52:23):
The lad.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
We love it. Burn the bail.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
You're listening to Standing Ground with Jeremy Lahy my.

Speaker 18 (53:12):
New Trump watches. Who are doing quite a number with watches,
and the quality, to me is very important. The Trump
Victory Turbuon. This isn't just any watch. It's one of
the best watches made. It's a turbune watch with almost
two hundred grams of gold and more than one hundred
real diamonds. That's a lot of diamonds.

Speaker 19 (53:32):
I love gold, I love diamonds.

Speaker 36 (53:34):
We all do.

Speaker 18 (53:35):
Only one hundred and forty seven of these extraordinary watches
will ever exist in the world, and owning one puts
you in a.

Speaker 19 (53:41):
Very exclusive club.

Speaker 18 (53:43):
I have Watch number one, and I'm going to keep it.

Speaker 3 (53:46):
It's mine and that's the way I want to have it.

Speaker 18 (53:49):
Each watch is numbered and extremely rare, a true collector's item,
and it includes a personal letter signed by me. Get
your Trump watch right now, go to get Trump dot com.
It's Trump time.

Speaker 1 (54:04):
You're listening to Standing Ground with Jeremy Lady, I'm.

Speaker 34 (54:07):
A politician, which means I'm a cheap and a liar.
And when I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing their lollipops.

Speaker 44 (54:48):
Tell our story about how we climb the ladder. And
a lot of you younger women don't think you have to.
It's been done, it's not done, and you have to help.
Hillary Clinton will always be there for you. And just
remember there's a special place in hell for women who
don't help each other.

Speaker 8 (55:13):
The power of Christ compels you, for the power of
Christ compels you.

Speaker 3 (55:20):
I lied, well, I accidentally lied. We'll get to Terry
Moran in the last break. The reason I play that
is because now that was a that was a very
compelling moment in the election leading up to twenty sixteen
when Trump beat the Queen, right, that is, former Secretary

(55:42):
of State now deceased. We shall not speak ill of
the dead, however, even posthumously. You know, history, history dictates things,
and you have to be criticized. But anyway, she was
at a campaign rally and she made that statement, and
essentially what she said was, if you're a woman and

(56:04):
you don't vote for Hillary Clinton, you are going to hell.
You have been condemned to damnation. It's off to Dante's Inferno.
Satan is your friend. Very very quickly, within a couple
of days, she wrote an editorial that I think appeared
in the New York Times, maybe the Wall Street Journal,
I don't know where. She formally apologized for doing that

(56:28):
because she realized, hey, wait a minute, women have freedom
of choice of who they vote for, and I shouldn't
talk to them like that. And she was right to
do it. But it's like it's like being on a
jury in a trial, you know, and the judge says,
disregard the last statement. The jury heard it. By then,
it was too late. She had said it all right.

(56:50):
Well around the time, just after the election, Michelle Obama,
which is not hard for her, put her foot in
her mouth about this stuff.

Speaker 12 (57:02):
Well.

Speaker 37 (57:02):
Michelle Obama's strong words for women who didn't vote for
Hillary Clinton. Last year, during a question answer session at
a conference in Boston, the former First Lady said, quote
any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their
own voice. Michelle Obama campaigned for Clinton during the election,
urging supporters to quote go Hi when their opponent went low.
Despite her comments, she says she still wants President Trump

(57:25):
to be successful.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
Well, she's at it again, and she obviously did not
learn her lesson the first time. You do not win
voters back or win voters over by throwing them under
the bus for how they voted. It just it's not
a good campaign tactic. Well, on her podcast this past week,

(57:49):
well she did it again. Here is Michelle Obama.

Speaker 12 (57:54):
Oh waitsh a great vig fat person.

Speaker 28 (57:58):
A lot of women who vote the way their man
is going to vote. It happened in this election. So
just to direct this at women, unfortunately we've seen, is
not enough.

Speaker 3 (58:12):
See what she's doing. She's implying that women who voted
for Donald Trump are subservient. That there, it's it's as
Hillary Clinton said, their white husbands and their white male bosses. No, no,
that's not it. The the reason they didn't vote for

(58:34):
Hillary Clinton, and the reason that the women didn't overwhelmingly
support Hillary Clinton was because she was a shitty candidate,
but not as shitty as Kamala Harris. Women didn't look
up to them, they don't and and the strategy was bad.
It's time for a female president. Well, there's nothing wrong

(58:55):
with having being a female president, but it ain't gonna
be ain't gonna be you. And then the former first
Lady and prior to that, secretary of State and two
former secretaries of State go out and brayed women who
voted for Donald Trump right on, right on. That's how
you win elections. Mm hmm, that's how you do it,

(59:18):
all right, I'm jeremy, lady. This is standing ground, this
is Mojo Fiber Radio quick break right back.

Speaker 45 (59:22):
You could put half of Trump's supporters into what I
call the basket of deplorables right the races, sex, is homophobic, xenophobic, islamophobic,
you name it.

Speaker 28 (59:42):
A lot of women who vote the way their man
is going to vote. It happened in this election. So
just to direct this at women, unfortunately we've seen is
not enough.

Speaker 44 (59:56):
Tell our story about how we climb the ladder. And
a lot of you younger women, don't think you have to.
It's been done, it's not done, and you have to help.
Hillary Clinton will always be there for you. And just
remember there's a special place in hell for women who
don't help each other.

Speaker 8 (01:00:22):
The power of Christ compels you, The power of Christ
compels you.

Speaker 11 (01:00:28):
You.

Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
The devil in disguise's fish.

Speaker 46 (01:00:31):
You are in disguise. You fool me with your kissing,
you teating, and your scheme. Hell knows how you lied
to me. You're not the way you see.

Speaker 12 (01:00:52):
You look like an Indo, walk like an indo, talk blackhead, But.

Speaker 46 (01:01:04):
God, you disguise. I thought the hell I was in heaven,
but sure surprised he help.

Speaker 40 (01:01:25):
Me didn't see.

Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
You're listening to Standing Ground with Jeremy Lahy.

Speaker 5 (01:01:35):
Are you but heard about a recent election? Are you
depressed that Joey Reid and Don Lemon are no longer
on the air. Do you get uncontrollably angry when you
see Elon Musk slashing more government waste? Are you sad
that men can no longer have periods? If so, liberal
might be the solution for you. One daily dose of
liberol can turn that liberal frown upside down. Just one

(01:01:58):
red pill can make your day so much better. You'll
be laughing at online means, You'll dress a little better
than the loser you once were. You'll thank a veteran
at the coffee shop. You'll go sailing on the Gulf
of America. You'll think more closely about the food you
put in your body. You might even break up with
the mainstream media and start watching some honest means liberal.

(01:02:20):
It will dry those liberal tears and replace them with
based cheers. Liberal may cause breakups with socialist friends, unfollows
from celebrities, and a new found purpose in life. Consult
your doctor as long as they're not bought off by
big farmer.

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
You're listening to Standing Ground with Jeremy Lady.

Speaker 18 (01:02:37):
He's a monster, pure psych okay, so rare to capture
one live.

Speaker 22 (01:03:08):
ABC News is suspending its senior national correspondent, Terry Moran.
A company spokesperson confirmed in a statement that Moran has
been suspended pending further evaluation. It comes after the journalists
described top Trump aid Stephen Miller as a quote world
class hater in a sense deleted post on his personal
social media account. White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt joined

(01:03:31):
Fox News Sunday, claiming that Moran's comments are fueling distrust
in news media.

Speaker 6 (01:03:37):
This is unacceptable and unhinged rhetoric coming from someone who
works at a major television network. We have reached down
to ABC.

Speaker 31 (01:03:45):
They have said they.

Speaker 6 (01:03:45):
Will be taking action, so we will see what they do.
But I think this speaks to the distrust that the
American public have in the legacy media.

Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
Terry Moran is the epitome of a little elitist, little
pretty boy. Well, he's just a twarp and he's always
been a twarp. I mean, I could go find a
whole bunch of Terry Moran stuff that he's done over
the years where he clearly he puts his political stripes

(01:04:16):
right out on his sleeves and calls himself a reporter
or a journalist. He's not. I actually actually had an
interesting running with Terry Moran years ago at Laguadia Airport
and we were discussing. It was well it was years ago,
it was after the bushby Gore decision, and we got
in a little powwow there at that this is a

(01:04:36):
very small terminal. There wasn't a fight. Actually, when we
were done talking, we shook each other's hand and so
it was nice meaning you. But I watched him on
ABC's This Week the previous week and I was like,
you know, you really need to get your facts straight,
and it was about the decision and everything. I'm not
going to get into it because it's all detailed stuff,
but anyway, I don't have time for it. But basically,
simple he was wrong and I was right, And well, look,

(01:05:00):
I would bet someone like Terry Moran is probably used
to that sort of thing, like a lot of them are.
People will walk up to the many airports and go like,
I saw you last night and I don't agree with
what you said. It was civil, but just in talking
to him, you could tell he's that sort of like
I don't know, I was waiting, Like the way his
face and the way he looked, I was waiting for
him to go, lovey, lovey, it's time for my mantiney,

(01:05:22):
that kind of thing, just you know, mister perfect as
they say. Well, this was the funniest part was the
statement from ABC News about his suspension. Listen to this
and it's statement.

Speaker 22 (01:05:36):
ABC News says it maintains a position of neutrality, saying
ABC News stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage.

Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
I'd buy that for a dollar. Is ABC trying to
trying to honestly tell us that their reporters are objective
and they look at everything, you know, right through the
lens of hey, we got to get both sides here,
I think not. But anyway, that's life, that's politics, that's media,

(01:06:07):
and you know, what to leave the show with someone.
This is a deleted scene from a film with Jeff Bridges.
He's the President of the United States and he brings
in his chief of staff and his chief legal counsel.
He says he wants to meet with them privately about something.
It was a you know, like a controversial issue that
they were dealing with. And it's a good way to

(01:06:28):
end today's show because I'm sure you're probably your brain
probably feels like a rubiksku by now I know mine does.
But he really sums up very well what Washington politics,
government and media and everything, what it's all about. I
leave you with this, I'm serious.

Speaker 19 (01:06:47):
Do you have any idea with Thanks for coming in, guys,
All right, fit out. You got five apes in a cage.
You got a banana hanging by a string in the
middle of the cage. You got some stairs going to
the banana. Now, pretty soon one of those apes is

(01:07:09):
gonna go for the banana. As soon as you hit
the stairs, you take a hose and you spray all
five apes with freezing cold water for five minutes. Now
sometime passes, and pretty soon another one of the apes
is gonna make the same attempt with the same result.
All five apes get sprayed with the cold water. Now
you turn off the cold water. You never use it again.

(01:07:32):
One of the apes is gonna go for the banana.
He hits the stairs, the other four apes pounce on
him and beat the shit out of them. Right, Okay, understandable.
Now you replace one of those original apes MM with
a new ape. After a while, that new ape, he's
gonna spy that banana, and when he goes for the stairs,

(01:07:57):
the other four apes are gonna jump up and beat
the shit out of right. Now, time passes, you replace
another one of the original apes with a new ape.
That new ape is going to go for the banana.
The other four apes beat the shit out of them, right,
including the first new ape, who has no idea why

(01:08:20):
he's so enthusiastically beating the shit out of this poor guy,
nor why he himself had this shit beat out of him. Okay,
Now you keep replacing these original apes with new apes
until finally you've got a cage filled with five apes
who have never had the freezing cold water sprayed on them.
And nevertheless, not one of the apes will ever attempt

(01:08:45):
to climb those stairs again.

Speaker 34 (01:08:48):
Why not.

Speaker 19 (01:08:52):
Because that's the way it's always been done around here.
Thanks for coming in.

Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
And the USA is.

Speaker 16 (01:09:17):
Wat Shock, What's the Mountain, The Love, Money, Sup, the
mon Sup, The Mother Shop, Shop Shop Show, She Don't

(01:09:57):
Know SA.

Speaker 1 (01:10:13):
And In Ground has been a production of Lakey Media.

Speaker 19 (01:10:16):
I'd say that was a pretty successful broadcast.
