El pasado mes de mayo cumplió 94 años, pero Clint Eastwood se niega a jubilarse. Esta semana se ha estrenado “Jurado nº 2”, su película número 40 como director y nosotros aprovechamos para darle un repaso a su carrera tras las cámaras. Este 1 y 2 de noviembre se celebra en México el llamado “Día de muertos” una de las expresiones culturales más antiguas e importantes de ese país que también ha dejado su huella en el cine. Nos lo cuenta el capítulo de esta semana de nuestra “Enciclopedia curiosa del cine”. Charlamos con los directores Concha Barquero y Alejandro Alvarado sobre el cineasta Fernando Ruiz Vergara, autor de “Rocío”, una película “maldita” que fue prohibida y secuestrada judicialmente. Ellos han hecho un documental sobre el tema titulado “Caja de resistencia”. Y en nuestra sección dedicada al western tenemos esta semana una de las películas más espectaculares del género en lo tocante a reparto y paisajes: “La conquista del Oeste”.
