What is for you is for you. Amber Gray knew as a young girl that she loved all things beautiful. But like many of us, she pursued the path laid out before her. She became a teacher and won awards for her teaching efforts, but always felt the tug to do more in the interior design industry. After six years, she left teaching, found design mentors and launched her business, Gray Area Designs.
It’s commonly advised that you should never give up. And, that’s great advice, but when you recognize your purpose and passion can impact more people you have to trust your gut and run with it. In this episode, Amber encourages us to follow our passion and run with our strengths. Whatever your gift, leverage that skill. If you’re creative, use that to your advantage. Put your strengths to good use.
While there are no guarantees that your business idea will or won't work, she assures us that if you understand your purpose, stay true to your passion, put God first and work your faith, your business will grow and prosper.
