Up next we feature Mr. Kevin Nowell currently hailing from Knoxville, Tn and curator of the Art of House events in that fair city. Sit back, lace up those dancing shoes and prepare yourselves to SWEAT!!  More about Kevin: Since the mid 90’s Kevin has been a major player in the southeast house music scene. Under the moniker Special K from 96 until 2003, Kevin could be seen weekly playing at raves and clubs throughout the mid west and southeast while holding down two of the most successful underground dance music nights in southern dance music history The Underground and The Boiler Room with Dj Slink in Knoxville Tn.  By the turn of the century Kevin was a founding member of Atlanta’s 4Deep crew whose legendary Connect parties kept house music alive and well in Atlanta during the first decade of the new century and their years as resident djs at Lava in mid townhelped expand the popularity of house music in Atlanta.  Since 2009, Kevin has been back in Knoxville throwing frequent events with his crew under the Art of House moniker bringing some of the biggest names in house music to the city.  The Art of House crew has now expanded throwing events in other cities with chapters in Asheville Nc, Charlotte Nc, and Ireland.  Today while still heavily involved with throwing Art of House events, Kevin continues to play select dates across the country and also produces music under his own name and The Art of House moniker.
