Hello, and welcome to Sword of the Spirit podcast! While attending a church camp in northern California, we (Kory and Walter) spontaneously broke out our Bibles and began to read the book of James out loud. After reading each section of the first two chapters, we stopped for discussion. This was incredibly edifying to us, but we did not want to keep it to ourselves! Thus, we decided we would do a series of podcasts in which we read the Word, expound the text, and chat about the life of faith. Our hope is that these podcasts will encourage and challenge our listeners to deepen their studies of Scripture, dialogue with others about Christ, and develop a greater love for and devotion to our Lord.
