Speaker 6 (03:23):
Gold. All right, so it's my favorite part of the show,
news and notes.

Speaker 7 (03:26):
Yeah, you know, it's my favorite part of the show.
The part that's coming up in the next segment.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Hey, we do have a news segment coming out here
and teaser.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
All right, So Cowboys injury report unfortunately positive changes. As
far as the players that did not participate on Wednesday,
those same players did not participate on Thursday. And I'm
going to go down this list really quickly. Tyler Booker,
Tyler Guidon, Malik Hooker, Ceedee Lamb, Miles Sanders, Tyler Smith,
Cavante Turpin. None of those gentlemen practiced on yesterday.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
I don't like those names on that list.

Speaker 7 (03:59):
Or do I But let me add another one for you. No, okay,
Marshan Kneelin appeared on the injury report on Thursday. He
did participate in a limited capacity, but he is now
dealing with an ankle issue. I can tell you that
after practice, before this practice report came out, I saw
Marshawn limping toward the shower and I registered in my head.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
I was like, hey, what's up with that?

Speaker 7 (04:20):
And then the injury report came out and yep, there
you go, ankle on Marshan.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Kneeling these derned ankles. Dude, Isaiah has a question.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
You saw him walking where?

Speaker 7 (04:28):
I saw him limping toward the show, not in an
the locker room, toward toward.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
The general director.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
Watched him walk.

Speaker 7 (04:37):
See the way the locker room is constructed, my friend
is you have the lockers h and then you have
the shower over there.

Speaker 8 (04:44):
All right, man buns, let's cool right towards coming.

Speaker 7 (04:49):
So you watched him, he's watched him walk from the
locker I saw. I didn't say I saw him limping
en route to the shop after practice.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
Do you know he was going towards the shower.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
Because he had his towel on walking towards the shower.
Are we done here?

Speaker 6 (05:08):
Listen? The originator of keep the man buns coming not allowed?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, you had to issue us answer right, tracked, tracked,
your poet.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
I did not put a tracking device on a man
wearing a towel. Okay, but.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
The air tag on that tracking device is crazy. But
he was limited on the he was limited, but so
more unfortunately, boy, look at the.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
Limp on that.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
You know what, I won't. I won't take this.

Speaker 8 (05:43):
You're the guy that wanted a certain defensive tackle to
be here.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
Let's go. Yes, I did exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I've completely let this get off the ram.

Speaker 7 (05:55):
We're still very much he was getting insight for our O. Kyle,
still very much on the reil on the rails okay,
so limptal relaxed towel boy, so Marshall, I kneel. It
appeared on the injury report limited with an angle issue.
We'll see what his status is effective this afternoon when

(06:15):
the Friday report comes out.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Right, leg just curious for the report.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
It didn't have it on the did you for posterity?

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Was it?

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Don't say postic posterior? Were you able to identify it
left the right way. I didn't relax buns boy trying
to get inside.

Speaker 7 (06:37):
So outside of that, Jonathan Mingo and Deron blant Well,
Jonathan Mingo and Kaylee Parson seat belt. They both were
still limited, but they continue their work back from IR.
I doubt either one of those guys will be made
active for this week's game against the Jets, but they're
making progress. So he's in a five point harness, five

(06:59):
point harness. He's in a five point racing harness. He's
in the racing harness.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
I know bo, I got you.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
I got Kenneth Murray. He was limited for the second
straight day. I will say that Kenneth Murray, I know.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Uh. We talked to coordinators yesterday.

Speaker 7 (07:17):
It was Flu said that he didn't know about Kenneth Murray.
As far as what the status would be, I can
tell you out there watching Kenneth Murray move around in
an open media portion, he was.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
Moving around pretty damn good.

Speaker 7 (07:28):
So I don't know exactly what caused him to be
limited as far as what they scaled him back from
as far as team drills are concerned, but in individual drills,
I saw zero limitations. He was full speed cuts in
and out of breaks and everything like that.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
So uh, I mean, I thought the same thing that I.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Was trying to believe Day is perfectly fine for Sunday.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
So and we only get to see him in the
early portion of practice.

Speaker 7 (07:51):
We don't know what happened in the team as far
as why they were scaling back, but based on what
we saw in open portion, looks like he's fine. But yeah,
ad Marshawn Kneeland as another concern to a mash unit
of an injury report going into the Jets.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, I don't either.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
So all right, this is where I ask you that
confidence level question that you hate all the way through.
What's who's the least confident that you're that is going
to make his way onto the field or most confident?

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Give me one answer of each.

Speaker 7 (08:20):
Most confident is Kenneth Murray, Okay, least confident outside of
the expected which is ceedee Lamb and Teller.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Yeah, outside out of guys who should probably be on
IR but they're leave.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Tyler Guyton will clear. We'll see. I believe he'll clear.
I think Tyler Smith is is out.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Wow, Damn.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
I think Tyler Smith that's a big loss.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
That's huge, Jem.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I mean your entire interior offensive line is backups. Now,
when what do we say that we need to do
this week?

Speaker 7 (08:51):
And where the Jets strongest at? All right, it's going
to be don't going to be a back at the
scrapper of a game?

Speaker 6 (09:02):
Like it really just is are you all right today? Man?
What's I'm just intentionally listening?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
He is very intently.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Now you didn't see his face. I saw what I said.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
But all I do is all I know about his
fights and back und we're so if Tyler.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Smith is out, who is your starting five?

Speaker 7 (09:18):
You did go to California a lot, buddy, all right,
I think that you have to look at probably Keegan Kegan,
Trevor Keegan, probably Keegan, Yeah, starting in the absence of
So the guard spot. Yeah yeah, yeah. So if if
we're talking.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Because Thomas, if you're down for guiding, if.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
You're down for so, Nate Thomas, Keegan, Hoffman Bass and
Terrence Steel.

Speaker 8 (09:46):
Any word on how Keegan is performing and we aspired him,
we have no clue, no clue, no clue.

Speaker 7 (09:52):
And for those that man forgot or may not have known,
Keegan was claimed off of waiver successfully just a few
weeks ago. So but no, no word or bad. Did
I read this correctly? I wasn't here the first couple
of days of the week, but I saw something.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
Just a little thing observed last time. There is a
gentleman who got plucked off of our practice squad. You
guys remember an individual.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Desigon Childrens m H. Is that who you're referring?

Speaker 7 (10:19):
That was the original didn't have a second person get
plucked off?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, it was Buddy John's.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah, yeah, by Buddy, you will be.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
I don't like that.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah, you don't know.

Speaker 6 (10:27):
That's old news, but I don't like that.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
You don't like that either.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
I don't like that. It just happened.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
You like your guys, that's what you're saying this week.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
You like these practice squad guys.

Speaker 7 (10:35):
Buddy Johnson is he's I've been a fan of his
for the last few years.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
Yeah. He's a he's a hard hitting line downhill linebacker. Yeah, yep.

Speaker 8 (10:44):
So remember one picked him up at the end of
what was the twenty twenty three season, and he was kind.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Of middling there for a while, and he had a
good camp.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
He really have a cover guy.

Speaker 7 (10:52):
But he's a he's a he's a he's a freaking
he'll come down in puts put a forehead right on
your chin now if you're back seriously, absolutely, Oh he's
a great, special, great special teamer.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
So you feel like that was a loss for the Cowboy.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
But how do you think fans are going to react
to that?

Speaker 6 (11:13):
They don't care?

Speaker 7 (11:14):
Yeah, I was about to say I care because I've
been watching him play for the last few.

Speaker 8 (11:17):
Years, But I just mean, like, what are what are
fans supposed to do with that information? Like you you
like this guy from training camp, you like what you've
seen from him.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
But he doesn't make his way onto the field.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah, so how are we supposed to feel We.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
Can say that about a lot of guys.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
You're talking about the Muhammed situation with Detroit where he's
been playing.

Speaker 7 (11:35):
Well, I wasn't even thinking about that one, but yeah,
some of my guys like a cross station. Yeah, linebacker
rotation as a whole. Oh, there's there's clearly a you know,
I don't know when you used to wear a favorite,
but sure favorite.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
There's roster.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
This is an interesting conversation then, because Okay, your linebackers
have been struggling. You don't have a Buddy Johnson anymore
in your practice squad. Your offensive line is severely banged up,
but you've got a couple guys that can elevate. Who
are your elevations this week? Who are you bringing up?
Because you need to bring up an offensive lineman in
order to carry eight and that's one of those guys
will be brought up the NFL rules, I.

Speaker 7 (12:09):
Know a lot of people are gonna be like, you've
been talking about practice squad guys. Practice squad dynamics have
changed substantial from the time the now squad now right,
event you have a whole team on the practice squad now, yeah,
and we know that you have three call ups. So
when you start talking about the amount of injuries that
the Dallas Cowboys have suffered already in the season, to
Kyle's point, who are you bringing up?

Speaker 6 (12:29):
Right? So the reason why.

Speaker 7 (12:30):
It's important to be able to maintain and retain these
guys on your practice squad is so that in the
event that you're having lack of production or in the
event that you're having injuries, you can go into your pool,
go into your back pocket and pull up somebody that
you know and that you trust and that can fill
in that role, that knows your system. Now you're losing
guys to be able to go back and grab. Now, yes,

(12:52):
you can go grab other guys that are most likely
on the street, because you're not grabbing somebody from one
practice squad and putting them on another practice squad. But
you're grabbing guys were sitting at the crib. They don't
know what you do. They haven't been through the camp,
they haven't been adapted to your culture. They don't know
what the heck's going on. So you're losing guys that
could be contributors to your team.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
And you're losing time because you're having to redevelop. Yeah,
redevelop them in.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
But kudos to those guys that are getting picked up.
That's freaking awesome. That's the best case scenario for those guys.
Super happy for Children's and for Johnson, that's awesome. That's
what that's the best case scenario for them. But for
the Cowboys, I don't like it. I can tell you
they can't stop it unless they sign up to the roster.

Speaker 6 (13:28):
I get that, But.

Speaker 7 (13:29):
Because they go to the active roster, for those they
go automatically to the new team's active roster and they
have to stay on that active roster for at least
three games. And it's indicative, just so you guys know
what my sentiments are. It's indicative of how good the
front office has has created depth at some of these positions. Now,
are you seeing that depth necessarily show up in a
form of production on the field. We haven't, right, but
you have talent there. And if we didn't, if you

(13:52):
think that I'm crazy and you don't feel as if
they have talent at those positions, then wire teams coming
to grab your guys and put them on their active.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Rosters because because they're good, that's.

Speaker 7 (14:00):
Why they're doing it, should probably give those other shots. Yeah,
so I'm going to play this two ways. I'm going
to say that in the event, well, we know Cavante
Turpin is probably not going to play as well, so
add him to my odds of not playing. You think
he's not playing, I don't think Cavantae Turpin is playing,
in which case, I ah would I would elevate Paris Campbell.

(14:22):
I still would let Blue have his debut absolutely blues debut, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
Blues debut, Blues Clues.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
But even with blues debut, I'm looking at Blues debut
more as a as offensive insurance. Miles Sanders is dealing
with the knee ankle issue, knowing that, I would prefer
not to do double duty on Blue if I can
avoid it. And you probably want some wide receiver help anyway,
with City Lamb and Cavante Turpin not being in, So

(14:49):
I would get Paris Campbell for the speed, but they'll
probably this is the other hat. They'll probably elevate Jalen
Brooks is my is my uh indication that I'm here,
So we'll see if that holds, and then I would
I would elevate Isaiah Land if Marshawn Kneeling is, you know,
dealing with that ankle issue, and you're trying to jump
start the pass rush.

Speaker 6 (15:11):
Hey, why not give Land a shot?

Speaker 7 (15:12):
You got him back here, right, So, if Sanders does
not suit up in this game, you're saying, there's it's
not probable that Blue suits up.

Speaker 6 (15:21):
No Blue is going to Okay, I'm saying what I'm saying.
What I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Blue is not on the practice squad. He doesn't.

Speaker 7 (15:29):
I'm just talking about as far as he's being active
and inactive. Yeah, that's what I mean, my expectation is
he will be on the game day roster and act.
But because I want to use him so frequently frequently,
I'm using that word loosely because Javonte is cooking, but
because I want to focus Blue on the offense, I
want to focus him less on the return game, in

(15:49):
which case I put Campbell.

Speaker 6 (15:52):
I feel that turner is what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
It's fair point, I know that.

Speaker 7 (15:55):
But on the flip side, I would put him at
returner because as a returner, it gives you the confidence
to know that you're playing at the pace of the game.
You know, I say, instead of getting thrown in for
your first reps at running back, you get a sense
of even though that's that one play, you get a
sense for the speed of the game. You get a
sense for the angles and them and just just everything.

(16:16):
I don't know, it's kind of hard to describe, but
live bullets is live bullets. Yeah, no, And I totally
agree with that.

Speaker 8 (16:21):
I would love to see Jaden blue On in that
spot at kick returner, at punt returner, in that you
don't have a lot of opportunities with him at the
second running back position because Javonti Williams is carrying somebody.

Speaker 7 (16:35):
Because you want to use blue at double duty, which
I'm completely fine with fair points all around. So that
means you aren't looking to elevate someone who's going to
return for you.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
So who are you elevating?

Speaker 3 (16:47):
My options? What are my options?

Speaker 6 (16:48):
Let's go.

Speaker 7 (16:49):
You got dal Brooks, Tray Shawn Holden, Jaylen Cropper, Paris Campbell,
Jeron Christian offensive tackle.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
I would say most likely Jaalen Cropper.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yeah, Cropper was the guy in training camp that took
the majority of those he was he took.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
He was activated last week as well.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
He was activated last week.

Speaker 8 (17:05):
That would be most probable for him has been elevated yet, No, No,
I don't believe so.

Speaker 7 (17:10):
So there's an argument to be made that maybe they
want to put two elevations on Cropper when you can
put one on Brooks right now and kind of stretch
that out.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
And he made and if it were up to me,
it would be holding.

Speaker 7 (17:23):
If it were up to a lot of people outside
the building, they'd be Trae on holding because he showed
so much in training camp and in the preseason. I
would be fine with Tree on holding. The problem is
that you're not getting a lot of speed with Yeah,
he's not a return guy.

Speaker 8 (17:34):
Yeah yeah, yeah, But like I said, I wanted Jade
Blue in that spot.

Speaker 6 (17:37):
Yeah, either is Tolbert.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
No, I wouldn't put Tolbert there.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
He's been there.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
It's perfect.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
But that doesn't that doesn't make That's why I brought
it up. I agree.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Sorry, I've got my stat of the week. You guys
ready for this?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Slide it in k Sorry, Jets, this is not not good,
all right. The Jets are the fourth team in the
last twenty seasons are.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Oh and four.

Speaker 6 (18:10):
Yeah, that's that's my machine.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Jets are the fourth team in the last twenty seasons
to start oh and four and have zero takeaways. Those
the teams that previously were oho and four and had
zero takeaways for the Texans in twenty twenty, the Broncos
in twenty nineteen, the Steelers in twenty thirteen. And there's
one thing that those three teams had in common that
you guys like to know what that one? We would

(18:35):
like to know them they won their fifth game of
the season.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
All three of those.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
I would like to retract. I wouldn't want to.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
I would not like to know.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
That's a slippery unknown that's a slippery slope.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
It certainly you gotta be careful. You gotta be careful.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
It's just whenever teams start to gel going into the
fifth season, they start to really come together, and it
marked a right.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
We're gonna take our breakwa different folks.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
When we come back, We've got our college Football Minute,
and we're going to have a new segment hosted by
one Josh Rodriguez more talking Cowboys right after this.

Speaker 9 (19:14):
Every day begins with a promise, a promise to work
hard and to build a future.

Speaker 6 (19:20):
That's why we're here providing the.

Speaker 9 (19:22):
Tools, expertise and John Deere equipment you have relied on
for generations to help you get.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
The job done right.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
We're with you.

Speaker 9 (19:32):
That's our promise to you, because no matter the project or.

Speaker 6 (19:36):
The challenge you're facing, we're with you. Where are you
not it?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
If you're looking for fresh American roasted coffee that gives back,

Speaker 6 (21:39):

Speaker 2 (21:40):
We are smiled, Lennon smiles.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Gotta smile through it all right, you got a minute
on the clock. It's the college football minute. Who's Georgia
got this week?

Speaker 6 (21:48):
Oh Georgia, you let me down last week?

Speaker 7 (21:50):
Fumbled the ball you dropped a would have been at
a walk off, a walk off, but a go ahead touchdown.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
You gotta bounce back.

Speaker 7 (21:58):
We gotta go to Lexic team Lexington to face the
University of Kentucky. Always a scrappy fight against those guys.
So they're not having the greats the best season possible. However,
an SEC battle is just at an SEC battle. So
go handle business in Lexington against Blue.

Speaker 6 (22:13):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Isaiah Washington, I'm mad on Oh No, I'm mad at
they lost Ohio State.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
I'm mad because we were pitching a freaking shutout in
the first half. Actually, we're up three zero, about to
kick another field goal at home. Okay, seventy eight thousand
fans rock in that place, freaking sunny day, boats on
the water, and our coach wants to run a freaking
fake field goal. Are you're freaking kidding me?

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Taking points?

Speaker 7 (22:38):
Bro, take the points and then they go on and
they freaking let the momentum swing.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
We lose, lose.

Speaker 7 (22:44):
Bastards lost, Yes, Bro, stay with the chest.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
That's for minute right there.

Speaker 6 (22:51):
Lost twenty four to six to Ohio State at home.
Have won again.

Speaker 7 (22:54):
That gentleman is angry. Yeah, Brop. We have Maryland this week, man,
it doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Got Maryland.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Maryland got a prettyo quarterback, one of the best freshman
quarterback in the country.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Uh, North texalland.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Football does North Texas five and oh they took down
South Alabama last week. First time they've been five and oh,
since nineteen fifty nine. It's been a long time. The
Barbie doll was invented in nineteen fifty nine. That's how
long it's been since. Now Texas was five and oh.
They're off this week, taking on South Florida next Friday night.
They're blacking out daq Q Stadium. They've got these brand

(23:25):
new black uniforms with these like chrome gold.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Eagle or chrome green eagle wings on the helmets.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
They're pretty sweet. So I'll talk more about North Texas
means week.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
Those units go hard for sure, Dude, They're.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
Gonna be sweet.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah, I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
It's gonna be a great game, great atmosphere. They canceled
classes on Friday next week to get people to go.
I love that on the Friday night game. It's pretty
it's there. They're investing in this matchup. It's gonna be fun.
Let's get to dak Qsdayam's in a great stadium too,
all right, the Pride of the Art Institute of Dallas.
We've got our area own Josh Rodrigoz with a B segment.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Hello, Josh, it's Jipopcorn.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
Get you popcorn ready? Boys, We're going to the movies
this weekend.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Okay, I don't know.

Speaker 8 (24:06):
If you knew this all right, there are a lot
of options out this weekend. So you have the new
Paul Thomas Anderson movie, director of Boogie Nice, director of
There Will Be Blood. If you haven't seen those movies,
check them out. Kyle the News, Taylor Swift movies out,
Oh thank god? Yeah, yes, but yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Coincides with her new album that came out last night
at eleven o'clock. I was listening by eleven oh one.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
Let's go now.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
My wife was listening by eleven o one.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
So this show's turn into Boogie Knights go ahead.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
One battle after another's out.

Speaker 8 (24:33):
But there's another film similar to that taking place Sunday
at noon MetLife Stadium. It's called One Third Down Conversion
after Another, starring the Dallas Cowboys defense and Justin Fields,
another dual threat quarterback, a familiar foe, a recurring antagonist
for the Cowboys. You've seen the prequels already this season
Week one versus Jalen Hurts, Week three versus Caleb Williams,

(24:54):
Now the franchise continues. Can the Dallas Cowboys finally stop
the repeat storyline?

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Or will it deja vu? Denzel Washington all over again?

Speaker 6 (25:02):
All right?

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Or and now?

Speaker 8 (25:05):
Or this is an alternative feature that we could go see.
Maybe rather buy a ticket to the Smashing Machine. No,
that's not the doin the Rock Johnson Oscar Push. That
is Javonte Williams smashing into the Jets defense in open space.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
A performance powerful enough to flip the script.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Hmm.

Speaker 8 (25:23):
Alternatively, we'll let's keep out an eye out for a
smaller independent feature. If you will an anime, maybe Perfect Blue?
Will it be the breakout roll for one Jaden Blue
like this in New York? I don't know, possibly, but
spoilers ahead. The Dallas Cowboys fate hinges on third downs.
If Justin Fields keeps the chains moving with his legs,

(25:44):
this film turns into a horror sequel. If Dallas forces
the punts, the Smashing Machine takes center stage and Javonte
Williams can become the box.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Office hero for your Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 8 (25:55):
Now I ask of you, fine gentlemen, which ticket are
you buying this Sunday? Because either way, get your popcorn
ready because it's going to be a show.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Well, all right, can you go through one more? Just
the options?

Speaker 8 (26:12):
Go through them real quick? You have one third down
conversion after another. Oh man, all right, I don't want
that ticket.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
I don't know. I don't want it either people in
the building.

Speaker 6 (26:22):
Or one if it's free.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
But you either have to buy that.

Speaker 8 (26:26):
You have to buy the Smashing Machine with Javonte Williams
taking on the Jets defense.

Speaker 14 (26:30):
Which the smashing machine, which is the most predictable mash
box smashmash here go, which is the most predictable, predictable
box office opening, which has the biggest predictable investments here okay,
And then you got Jayden Blue.

Speaker 6 (26:46):
There was a third smashing machine. Smashing Machine.

Speaker 7 (26:49):
That's where you think it's going to help control the clock,
keep justin Field's mobility off of the field, help your
defense out that way by keeping them on the sideline
for as often as possible.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I think that one's the most hopeful of the three.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Of course, that's the one you want to go see.
That's the one I would love to go see. I
don't know if I can afford it, But sometimes you
watch a different movie exactly like you got just a
couple of dollars in your pocket, you know, yeah, you
think I have money for that, And now I think
the most predictable because we're trying to predict what's going
to exactly.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
It's going to be the third down movie.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
That's one third down conversion after another.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
They they're the worst team in the NFL on third down,
and it's really not even close. And you're playing a
team zero to four this week and you're worse than
them on third down, and you're going up against another
mobile quarterback which you have not been able to stop
until they stop it.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
I'm gonna say it's the.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Third down movie. That's what's more likely to happen. Unfortunately,
I would rather go see the Smashing Machine. I would
rather see the Blue Beetle. I would rather see all
of these different elements here. I was wondering if you
did that on purpose. I did, but it works out
he's always intentional. Yeah, But I would rather see those
as an option because I think in order to win
this game, you will have to run the football effectively

(28:05):
with a banged up offensive line. So because of that,
I think it's less likely and I think it's more
likely we're going to see that third down movie.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
I'm just gonna have to like hold my.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Eyes open through like on a Royal Blue Copper like
the tailor in his life.

Speaker 7 (28:21):
Listen, I would love to go see The Smashing Machine. Like, So,
the ticket's kind of expensive, man, it's kind of pricey basically.
You know that there's not a lot of seats available.
You know the seats selection is pretty trash.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
You need the refiners too.

Speaker 7 (28:33):
Yeah, I need to reclient that type of movie. Oh absolutely,
I'm not going. If I have to see in front
two rows, I'm not going. I'm going DX tickets too.
Oh come on, man, Like for D I don't like
that too much. Yeah, but I think I'm max on
one third down after another is a free ticket right now,
and I feel as if they're they're giving those tickets away.

(28:54):
It's kind of hard to pass on a free ticket,
especially we don't have nothing else going on, especially when
the in the when the start of the show is faster.

Speaker 6 (29:03):
Than everybody on your defense.

Speaker 7 (29:04):
So that's gonna be kind of difficult to stop until,
as Kyle said, until you prove it otherwise, until we
have evidence of success against that's that that type of feature.

Speaker 6 (29:17):
I can't I can't really rock with it.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
When I was growing up in Waco, there was a
movie theater that.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Was like kind of off to the side and like
a shopping center, and it was one dollar movies on certain.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
A dollar theater.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Babymore man, they were so good. Uh, now is it
what like a five dollars theater or whatever?

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Like a Tuesday they do like.

Speaker 8 (29:35):
Certain Thursday evening screen is typically are a little less expensive,
but there's no true dollar theater anymore with the nachos.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
See what that third doing? That Third Down though, oh
yeah it was, She's enough.

Speaker 7 (29:53):
I can't believe it's not trust that it may have
began life as a powder, but it ended life as delicious.

Speaker 6 (30:00):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
Bill, Uh, this Third Down movie wouldn't even make the
five dollars like current discount day like it would have
to be in the dollar theater.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
They would have to.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Reopen reopen a dollar theater just to throw this movie
in it. But that's the one we're going to see.
I disagree, tend to agree as much as I don't
want the first segment of Gets Popcorn Ready to be
be a sad one Yeah, to be a poor you know,
two thumbs down joint.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
But I still think there's the smashing machine has a
chance has more than something.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
With four of five of your offense you can buy
the ticket, but I guarantee you you're stringing.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
But what did I say last week when it came
to Bass being inserted next to they can run with me,
they can run block the run blocking, I'm more confident
in than the past port. Yeah, with the backup. So
following that logic, yeah, I do see Javonte Williams c J.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
Dougle for seventy years and a touchdown this week?

Speaker 7 (31:01):
Maybe two, I'd take that. I'll give him two touchdowns.
I think one is a gainer and one is shortyard.
I give him seventy eight in a touchdown. I give
Blue fifty two yards on like like five carries.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Really, yeah, Okay, how about receptions for Jaydon Blue?

Speaker 6 (31:15):
Yeah, that's a good question.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
I need I need those receptions.

Speaker 7 (31:18):
How many yards from scrimmage PPR for Blue? I'll give
him like seventy six from scrimmage? Yeah, okay, that's fair,
seventy eight.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
For see, Like all of this sounds incredible, Like I
would take all of this. I would be well, they're
happy with all that. Yeah, but I'm looking up front.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
And I even asked Clayton Adams yesterday about it in
the press conference, and I said, Hey, that's.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
The question I did. He did, I don't always, but
when I.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Do the slide right in there answer, you're darn right, Kay,
why baby?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
The whenever I have that, I had the question.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
I asked him, have you ever had to deal with
this in the past four of your five offensive line
He said, yeah, last year. So that's part of the NFL.
You're gonna have to rotate guys in the offensive line position.
You're gonna have to make a couple of moves here
and there. But I asked him, also, does that change
your mentality? Does that change your philosophy when it comes
to run blocking schemes and different elements of pulling no way?

Speaker 2 (32:11):
And he said he said, it depends on the player.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
He said, it's a case by case basis. We play
to the strengths of the player. Which I loved the
answer to that question.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
And when you were talking about brock Hoffman last week,
and you're talking about TJ. Bass last week, filling in
those roles you feel comfortable.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
With those guys. We have no idea what we're talking about.
Whenever it comes to Keegan.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Or Trevor Ken't and where he plays in what is
his strength.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Is it playing down hill?

Speaker 6 (32:36):
Is it run block even if you even if you
had all your guys.

Speaker 7 (32:39):
Yeah, this is not a team that you try to
run downhill straight at.

Speaker 6 (32:43):
Right and exactly.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
We talked about that, QB.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
Sure, this is straight edges right.

Speaker 7 (32:47):
So I don't I don't foresee the running game being
stifled because of the lack of availability of the starting
offensive line. I think you just changed the Instead of
running inside on, you go outside on and.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
You go to the edge.

Speaker 8 (33:00):
Yeah, and if you are watching the smashing Machine this weekend,
it's going to be on the outside. This is going
to be an open space. You can't hit the middle
like that. No, not with Quinn Williams right.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
There, even with Ky you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
All right, give us a call eight eight eight eight

Speaker 2 (36:16):
What's going on, Chris Beam? How did we do last week?
All right, last week's results? I need to turn this down? Okay,
this down?

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Uh huh okay, so.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Last week's results. See I'm going through here, let me
see here. Okay, So the leader right now is Man.
Why do we have to talk about this?

Speaker 6 (36:38):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (36:38):
No, Isaiah's leading.

Speaker 15 (36:42):
I'm like, wow, Second place is Josh and the fans.

Speaker 6 (36:46):
Yeah, good job, good jobs.

Speaker 15 (36:50):
Fourth place is Patrick at seven and nine. Patrick and Kyle,
we're not going seven, six and ten.

Speaker 6 (37:02):
Bringing up the rear.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Kyle went one and four last week. Oh that's disgusting.

Speaker 15 (37:08):
I gave the Green Bay Dallas game a push, by
the way.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
Okay, okay, nobody guessed the tie.

Speaker 15 (37:16):
No one guessed the time. You went two and three
last week. I know you' Ricky, Yes, you pit, Pit,
you pit. You picked Pittsburgh and the Rams.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
That's all all you got, the Rams Rams.

Speaker 6 (37:30):
That of a game.

Speaker 15 (37:31):
Josh and uh Nebby actually went three and two last week.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
Nice solid with Chad.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
GPT went three and two last.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Okay, I was gonna ask about chat GPT. We're playing
against chat Chat.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
GPT is now nine and two since I've started. Just
that's wild there.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
All right, We've got a caller on the line. He
actually called in on Talking Tuesday as well. This is
a double call week for one Tuesday. Sebastian from Savannah. George,
what's going on?

Speaker 11 (38:00):
Sebastian, Hey, you already know what it is. I'm doing
real good and I have a quick second to just
fan out because I never get to call in with
my boy Isaiah, Sam Beckers in the ability. What do
listen here? I used to play with you on Man No. Nine,
like going big, big, beautiful, smile, Brett Favre on the cover,
stubbing you in, putting you right behind PC. You had

(38:23):
the eighty four eighty five spectacular catch, just ridiculous. Back
then they had Dwayne Harris or somebody like right before
that said, man, get out of here with Dwayne Harris's
saying back, what's going on? Guys? I'm feeling good. I'm
ready to pick these games. Let's get to it.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Let's roll.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Let's start with the Texans one in three against the Ravens.
One in three, two team with playoff aspirations have not
played well to start the rush, Sebastian will let you start.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Who you got Texans at Ravens.

Speaker 11 (38:52):
Listen, both teams are struggling a little bit. I'm gonna
go ahead and take Cooper Rush, big Cooper Rush in
the raven Cooper Rush in the rain.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
I do not think Cooper Rush has had it this week.
Let me go with the Texans.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
I'm gonna take the Texans on the road here as well.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
Give me a rush.

Speaker 7 (39:11):
Derrick Henry's not happy right now now he's gonna figure
it out, I hope. So I'm pretty sure that Ravens
have cooked me twice in predicting they will get a win.

Speaker 6 (39:21):
So we're not doing that again. Give me Texans in
this one.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
There you go, Giants at Saints, Ew, Giants at the Saints.

Speaker 6 (39:31):
Easy, gross what you got. I'm gonna dart on over there,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Wow, Jackson Dart.

Speaker 6 (39:37):
They better stop running him though, Yeah, they better stop
running him.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
They were trying to get him hurt.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
Yeah, they won't.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
What do you think that?

Speaker 6 (39:46):
Man? This is anybody know what the Saints are?

Speaker 3 (39:49):
No clue?

Speaker 2 (39:51):
Mark, you know what I need to I need to
climb back in.

Speaker 6 (39:53):
Let goes Saints.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
I'm sorry, all right, Josh your pick thing sense?

Speaker 1 (40:02):
Yeah, I'm gonna take. I'm gonna take the Giants. Sebastian,
you gotta.

Speaker 11 (40:06):
What man in the bottom in the Battle of the bottom.
I'm gonna take the g man.

Speaker 6 (40:12):
The Battle of the bottom.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
All right, we're moving on.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
We're going to Buccaneers three and one at the Seahawks
three and one.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Well, we know who Isaiah is picking Sury gang baby.
All right, I'm taking the Buccaneers.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
Josh, Man, give me the Seahawks.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
Buccaneers don't have Bucky Irving this week, apparently, but they
got but they got a couple of you have, but
we have Corners.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
Mmm, that's why I picked the Seahawks.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Man, all right, Market, I'm gonna stick with it.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
I'm taking Bucks.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
You're crazy, I'm crazy.

Speaker 7 (40:43):
See Seattle's defensive line trying to make up some both
man too, I'm going to Seattle.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Who's that zero over the Sebastian He looks familiar.

Speaker 11 (40:50):
Yeah, the Bucks really need their running game to help
Aker Mayfield.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
It's Seattle all day, all day, Chargers hosting the Commanders
five Stadium.

Speaker 7 (41:01):
What's that Chargers? The Commanders have no receivers. They're out
there debo Noah Brown and McLaurin.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
Give me the Chargers too.

Speaker 8 (41:10):
I think the Chargers are a really good team this year.
I'm going Chargers.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
There you go.

Speaker 7 (41:14):
I would take the Charges even if the Commanders were
fully loaded and going charges in this one.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Okay, what do you what do you think? Sebatian?

Speaker 6 (41:21):
Listen?

Speaker 11 (41:21):
Arguably, I think the Chargers are a little bit overrated.
It's because of the division that they're playing. But I'm
gonna take the Chargers too.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
Okay, Chiefs at Jags. This is the Monday night game.
I believe Chiefs at the Jaguars. What do you think,
Josh going Chiefs? I guess, you know, I guess, I
guess prime time. Patrick Mahomes give me.

Speaker 7 (41:44):
The Chiefs for the first time ever. You're going to
pick against the Chiefs. That Jaguar defense is doing some
stuff alongside Jordan Lewis, kind of running, helping run things.

Speaker 6 (41:57):
I'm going to keep your mouth.

Speaker 7 (42:05):
That's what Lewis and the Jacksonville defense to uh to
stifle Mahomes. And yeah, they woke up a little bit offensively,
but not consistently yet. I like the vibes in Jacksonville
right now. Liam Cohen has those guys, He has those
guys balling. The defense is nice, and the offense he's
on edge. And he just came off of a game
where he almost got in a fight, so I think
he's gonna be ready to ruck.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
He's the only first year head coach in the league
right now with a winning record. There're a couple with
two and two, and then of course Shoty and and.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
The only other coach he could beat up is micro Dano.

Speaker 7 (42:37):
But but but probab he can get the ball to
Travis E.

Speaker 6 (42:41):
T and Jr. And he can go about the guy that.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
Said, dude, I don't trust with anybody. Point Dexter out
there and.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Scrappy though.

Speaker 6 (42:55):
Shottenheim Er in a bar. Yeah, I think shot I think.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
He breaks Shotty over and freaking hey, yeah, I.

Speaker 7 (43:01):
Think shot He has hands, Yeah, Sebastian.

Speaker 11 (43:07):
Even if Shoty don't have hands, somebody coming to Shoty's defense,
He's gonna have him back up. But uh, it's hard
to pick against the Homes, but you got to in
this one. I feel like they're getting a little old.
We're gonna go Jacksonville. By the way, no c Lee
High the Lee High shirt yesterday. Levi you already know that.

Speaker 6 (43:23):
You on Titan, you know ball there. He got to
know his ball and he's in Sevannah.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
Well, let's see how much he knows ball, because we've
got one more game to pick. Noon on Fox this Sunday,
Week five of the NFL season. It's gonna be the
Dallas Cowboys on the road taking on the New York Jets,
looking for their first win against the Jets on the
road since two thousand and three.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Sebastian, who you got in this one?

Speaker 11 (43:51):
Listen, No one's the Jets have never gone on five.
They're about too this year. We're gonna win that game.
Thirty five thirty four Dallas.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
Cowboys thirty five thirty four. What a close game. That
would be a barn burner of a game.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Sebastian, thanks for the call down road today but Tuesday
as well.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Appreciate your listening. We'll talk to you again soon.

Speaker 11 (44:09):
Have a great day.

Speaker 6 (44:10):
Thanks, Raychel.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
That's Sebastian from Savannah, Georgia.

Speaker 6 (44:12):
Damn right it is.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
And since he's from Savannah, I'll let the other Savannah
boy on the stage get it done. I'm gonna say here,
first of all, this is going to be a close game.
It's going to be a scrappy game. Just's going to
empty the playbook. Cowboys are down a lot of players
due to injury.

Speaker 6 (44:28):
So yes, it's going to be close.

Speaker 7 (44:29):
But I got the Cowboys pulling this one away from
the Jets. You see, uh huh, pulling this one away
from the Jets. Dak Prescott has only played the Jets twice.
He's going one in one. That one loss is on
the road at MetLife two and he talked about it yesterday,
and we all know what happens to teams that beat

(44:49):
Dak Prescott and leaves that chip on his shoulder. So
I think he flips the script. I think Cowboys went
twenty four to twenty two. Oh, same school, same name school.
It's perfect poetic justice.

Speaker 6 (45:00):
It's interesting. Interesting.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
I think Dallas is the much better team, but they're
banged up. I think Dallas would win this by better.
I think if they were healthy, they would win this
by two scores.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
But they're not healthy. Okay, so that's what that Wait
just a second.

Speaker 1 (45:17):
On paper, when they are healthy, this is a better
football team than the New York Jets. However, they're not
healthy right now. They're gonna miss four of their five
possible offensive linemen. Up front, you don't have your all
Pro returner, you're banged up. In the secondary, you get
you don't know exactly what you're missing, your wide receiver.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
One, you're all pro wide out.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
All of this to say, I still think they're going
to win the football game, but it's going to be
a lot closer than I initially would say. I'm saying
twenty seven to twenty four. Cowboys, get it. Done.

Speaker 6 (45:46):
I like it.

Speaker 8 (45:47):
I have to bring out the mental odell because the
power from the beyond the grave tell me the Dallas
Cowboys are going to tie with the New York Dudding.
I'm kidding fits a joke, man, that's how soon I
was gonna win. And it's gonna be It's gonna be rough,
it's gonna be dirty, it's gonna be one.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
Of those Oh yeah, it's gonna be one of those
where it's I.

Speaker 8 (46:09):
Don't think any offense is gonna be clicking at all
unless Dallas Cowboys defense, for whatever reason, keeps doing what
they've been doing, which is insanity.

Speaker 3 (46:17):
But anyways, it's gonna be Dallas Cowboys twenty three Jets fourteen.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
Okay, low scoring fair, Yeah, that makes sense, Isaiah, last
one to pick.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Thirty one, oh, thirty one.

Speaker 7 (46:33):
Points twenty it's goed thirty one, twenty three Okay, thirty
one twenty three Oh.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
Isaiah, Cowboys. Wow.

Speaker 7 (46:43):
Bubble guts a little bit, a little bit, a little bit,
but I think that I think that Dallas throws the
ball all over the place.

Speaker 1 (46:48):
I don't have the same bubble guts idea going into
the Chicago matchup. That was where I was really like,
I feel like this just feels wrong.

Speaker 6 (46:56):
Yeah, I feel like that's gonna throw for about three fifty.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Yeah, I think they I think the I think.

Speaker 7 (47:01):
I think they'll have closed that greatly. I think they're
gonna have close to five hundreds of offense. That'd be nice,
I really do.

Speaker 6 (47:07):
I don't think. I think the Jets are even.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
I believe the defensive line, yeah, even with the.

Speaker 7 (47:11):
Old line, because I think that the Jets are going
to over extend themselves in terms of trying to create pressure,
and Dak does a heck of a job of identifying
pressure and regardless of the resources that he has out there,
no Cede Lamb, no Comane Turpin. I think the guys
that are going to be stepping up in the fold,
I think they are intelligent players. So I think that
the id identification of the blitzes and the exposure of

(47:33):
the secondary once that blitz actually occurs, and Dak's ability
to dissect that, I think they'll be fine. Defense just
needs to be ready for everything. Yeah, I'm less concerned
about that. I'm less concerned about that. I'm more concerned
about justin fields running for like one twenty. I don't
trust his throwing, because I think his throwing is pepulate
pew Well on the same page, because that's it that

(47:54):
he and Jordan Love are on different planets when it
comes to the arm.

Speaker 6 (47:57):
Talent is concerned, but.

Speaker 7 (47:58):
They get But I do think that I want I
hope that Trayvon takes a personal challenge this week.

Speaker 6 (48:05):
I've heard some things throughout the week. He's back on track.

Speaker 7 (48:07):
Yeah, I would like for him to take a personal challenge,
for him to shut down Garrett Wilson. I want him
to take that on as a individual competitor, man versus man.

Speaker 6 (48:17):
I'm shutting you down.

Speaker 7 (48:18):
This is my get back game, regardless of the fact
that my coach has been calling a lot of his
own the heck witted. Last time I try to press
man Roma Dunes, they ran right past me. I want
to take I need to prove to myself I'm speaking
as Tramon that I'm that dude.

Speaker 6 (48:31):
Still, this is an opportunity to prove that to himself.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
I think it's a game.

Speaker 6 (48:34):
I think it's very important for him to do so.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Yeah, and remember some of the stats that we had
earlier in the week. You were talking about justin fields
and the turnovers. This team is worse than turnover margin.
They've had seven turnovers, zero takeaways. And of course I
mentioned the k Wise stat of the week earlier whenever
it came to the teams that have had four straight
games starting zero to four and have had zero takeaways.

(48:59):
They've won their fifth game going into it. So you
got to turn around first year head coach in Jet's
history to go on five. It would be the Aaron
Glenn would be the first. So a couple of different
things that are going against you from a statistical standpoint,
but from the film standpoint, I still think this Cowboys
team should win the.

Speaker 6 (49:16):
Last ti bit. This will be a uh.

Speaker 7 (49:18):
This weather will be very conducive for a good passing attach.
Nice if that's good weather something Deck needs to do.
It will be seventy degrees and perfectly sunny, pretty clear
at kickoff and LoVa in East Road perfect well.

Speaker 1 (49:30):
Enjoy the trip, everybody, keep up the date with Patrick
no Cy Walker as he goes out there to New York.
