First uh, first first song on the practice field yesterday
when you walked out there.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Who till I collapsed? Yeah, it was. It was pretty set.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
Sorry, he performed last week. He won't be performing again. Nope,
that's fine.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Nope. That song, that's that's one of my gym songs.
Till I Collapsed? Buddy, What is your What is your
number one pregame hype song? That's up there for me? Really,
I'm probably.
Speaker 6 (02:51):
Going d MX here, Yeah, uh yeah, I picked one
from X Man.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
See. I'm like, I'm like old not school.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
It kind of feels like old school now, but like
early two thousands, like hard metal like that kind of
stuff like that would be That would be pregame pump.
Speaker 7 (03:08):
That's a lot of my June. The name of band, Kyle,
let's go, I mean trapped strong?
Speaker 8 (03:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (03:13):
Hell yeah, yeah, buddy, come on, bunny, couple of them.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I mean like I'm talking not like the my chemical
romance emo stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I'm talking like I want like headbanging.
Speaker 7 (03:25):
Oh, so you're on my level as far as metal goes,
you think on your not on your level.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
That's all right now.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
I never claim to be on your All.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Metal is for the fam.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Family can listen to the medal. But Eminem was one
of my favorites. And it was funny because, like even
when I was in middle school and we had walk
up songs, which was really just a dad pressing play
on the stereo.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
I'm sure you actually had a walk up song?
Speaker 1 (03:52):
What was in baseball? Yeah? Uh? What was my walk
up song? I did? I don't remember what it was.
I have to go back on my playlist.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
Yeah, but yeah, would you choose now.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Pregame hype though? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (04:06):
My playlist next level? Yeah, my playlist is next level.
I was a c D man in college. You got
to remember that. Yeah, I was the guy burning all
the seat with the booklet.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Ye legally.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Yeah to radio check Yeah yeah, yeah, I am by
Eminem is on there.
Speaker 6 (04:26):
I definitely have my name by m M. There's a
number of DMX, got it several.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
D I assumed you were going to say DMX.
Speaker 6 (04:33):
DMX is definitely on there, but it's hard to pick
just one. But usually they starts right there that think
gets me going, and then Lil Wayne right for my ninja.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, that one right there.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
They played the instrumental to that when I did the
Mississippi State games, the one they did the game against
Tech Low Build and the game against Georgia. When they
do their dog walk as they call it, they walk
through like the junctions, it's like there, Yeah, then they
got dog walked by some other dogs. But when they
walk into the stadium, they had that song playing and
just the instrumental, and.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
It builds and builds. It was so it had me
ready to run through a wall all in the game.
Speaker 6 (05:10):
I think we were about to play Philadelphia one time
at Old School right at Texas Stadium, and I remember
I remember, I don't remember. I think it was Philly,
but I remember Mark Columbo was playing some rock music
and everybody he had he.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Had a metal band, yeah he did, and re Rain
check him out.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Yeah, I remember being there, Bro I got on.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
Stage with him with Leonard Davison. Davis he was in
the band.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah, that's awesome. I didn't know that.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
And Corey Proctor Proctor, Yeah, it was great.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Uh got to look all this.
Speaker 7 (05:43):
It was literally I was in high school when the
Dallas Cowboys made a metal band. Their offensive line, you
bet I listen due.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I was on stage with those gentlemen. I see it
right here.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Was about to say, yes, we're in the in the
in the locker room and Columbo's playing rock music.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Bro.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
It's like you try to have understanding because you understand
that everybody doesn't listen to the you know, demographic of
music that you do, of course, the genre. And we
kind of looked at each other, and I think eventually Spears,
I think Spears is the one who who really went
in and put on.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
That little way.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
Bro, and a whole locker everybody just going around just
throwing stuff against the wall, everybody.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Just throwing cheer. It was crazy. Did you win? Oh,
of course, okay. Crazy.
Speaker 7 (06:28):
It's funny because Patrick and I have chare room at camp,
and I'll be hearing his music most of the time,
and then most of the time, like mine's maybe a
little too loud. I'm not gonna play it as much,
but uh cap but I was playing Kryptopsy one day
and then I got an odd look from Patrick afterwards,
like like, what are you listening to over there?
Speaker 1 (06:45):
But he's curious.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
I am a very cannibal corpse maybe.
Speaker 6 (06:49):
Very music minded guy, like I really just am and
I've always been that way.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
So my my catalog is crazy.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
And if I put my catalog on show full man,
It'll go everything from six These R and B to Aerosmith.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
It will go to a cold Play cold dude, I
love me some you know what?
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Matter of fact, Patrick, no c Walker loves the checks.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
A massive cold Play fans dude, Okay, fun fact figure
it out. Fact.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
I think this shared on X.
Speaker 6 (07:14):
And why some LaVeta look, Yeah, I think it's shared.
Speaker 5 (07:17):
So I have Viva Lovita.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
I think I'm I'm searchable on Spotify, and I think
my playlist is public. Yeah, it's called pregame slash Weight
Room Mix all right. They have thirty eight songs on there.
It's on Spotify list. How many followers do you have
on there?
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Right now?
Speaker 7 (07:32):
I don't typically have to go to Steadfast if you
want to work out with that as a standback, but
you can do it in there.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
I don't know, I don't know how do you find
that out? Anyway?
Speaker 6 (07:41):
There's thirty eight songs on here, there's a lot of
there's little John on there. There's definitely some pastors today John.
So if you guys want to go on there, I'm
gonna make sure that it's public.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
You guys can go on there and listen to my playlist.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
All right, let's get in the dus and notes Patrick
no Cy Walker Cowboys back on the practice field yesterday.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
So I was just looking through my cop now you're
going through your library.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
It is the best song I've ever seen played live
in front of my eyes.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Was fits you? I know? Yeah, the best best.
Speaker 7 (08:08):
Song I've ever seen in live I would be Hammer
Smashed Face by Cannibell Corpse.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
It's a great songold live experience.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
My list is public if you want to go ahead,
and I am what's the what's my name is?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Free Game, Slash Weight Room Mix and Isaiah standback.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Almost I should make my I don't have music, I
should make my own public. There you go.
Speaker 5 (08:30):
We should have a talking Cowboys playlist anyways, but.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
We'll get there. We'll get it there, we'll talk about it. Well,
damn one with we got ourn in the back. But
we've got to skip that, Just skip all right. You
brought it up.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
All right.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
Quick as the flash of coming trip in time my
receiver game gold. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yess what Why.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Talk before we talk football?
Speaker 5 (09:10):
We got a lot of football to talk.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
That's why I want to get We're sorry, let's not
have fun today.
Speaker 6 (09:14):
Yeah, we're sitting those two humans, all right. So news
and notes we have. Let's start with the injury report.
I'm going to bring up some other notes I have
from home on phone. So first and foremost injury report.
Tyler Guyton again did not practice. Did not participate in
yesterday's practice. Do not expect that he will yea, do
not like. Do not expect that he will take the
field on Thursday. We'll see how that goes. We'll circle
(09:36):
back to Jadevion in a minute. Other than Tyler Guy
and everyone else participated either in a limited capacity or
in a full capacity.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
So that's great news there.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Now coming back to Jadeveon Clowney, he did not participate
in yesterday's practice either. He was off to the side
with the rehab group and Britt Brown on the bands
recovering working through that hamstring issue. But Jerry Jones on
a five to three the Fan this morning did say
that the Cowboys quote unquote plan on him taking the
field against the Lions, but it's not guaranteed, so they're
(10:06):
going to see how today goes and tomorrow goes before
the flight leaves for Detroit, before they make the final determination.
I think that Clowney is going to be a game
time decision. I would play it that way. I don't
think Tyler Gouidon takes the field. I think jdayvon Cloudey
is a game time decision. We'll go from there. Now,
that's the only bad news for the Cowboys is Davion
(10:26):
Clowney probably a game time decision. Tyler Guidon probably not
going to play. Everyone else is good to go Detroit.
On the other hand, they're dealing with some things. Okay,
So first and foremost, we know that Sam Laporta just
there all star tight end. He is on injured reserve,
so he's not making this game or several thereafter. Amon
Ross Saint Brown's dealing with the low ankle injury. He
(10:47):
did not participate in yesterday's practice or the practice prior.
He's not training in the right direction. The standout though
here is other than those who I just said, Saint
Brown and laporter Terry Arnold. Their starting cornerback is heading
to injured reserve ooh with a shoulder injury, so of
course he did not participate in any prep beans this week,
(11:09):
but he is on the way out for Detroit for
at least four games. So the Lions are not in
a good position matchup wise at all against this Cowboys team.
So the Cowboys just need to go out there and
handle their business. And speaking of handling the business, whether
it be what Dak Prescott said yesterday, seeding Lamb said yesterday,
the coordinator said yesterday, or what Jerry Jones said this morning.
(11:32):
When Jerry was asked by one O five three the fan,
does he believe the Cowboys need to kind of hang
their hopes on trying to eke into a wild card
spot or does he believe they need to go out
and win the division? And he said their best bet
is to win the division. I do agree, I do agree,
and I do love one thing he pointed out, not
to say that it will happen this year, But I
would love if it does, because the hell with those
(11:53):
guys in Philadelphia. He pointed out that season a few
seasons ago where Philadelphia had that outright collapse and lost
six to seven games in two years ago. Yeah, it
can happen. It can happen. So I like what he
did there. Cowboys just need to go out and handle
their business, which is Dak Prescott's quote from yesterday. We've
got to go handle our business either way. You've got
to win out or win all but one. If you
(12:17):
lose two more, you're done.
Speaker 7 (12:18):
And if you lose the wrong ones, if you lose
this one, you're this is the wrong one the leagues
and that's the problem.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Well, Isaiah, no, let it be known. We are not
playing in the game. We can talk about that.
Speaker 1 (12:34):
If you win the rest of your games, it doesn't
matter exactly.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
That's what I'll You'll either win the division or you'll
have a shot.
Speaker 5 (12:41):
You just go on one or to know.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Ook at which which would you which would you rather lose?
Of course you want to win all of us. Let's
preface that this question is a very obvious one thing
that everybody wants the Cowboys to win every single game.
The rest of the season against in the playoffs, of course,
but if you had to drop one, I want to
see if you agree with me. You know, you can't
drop Detroit. Which one of these on this remain schedule
would you be the chargers charge?
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Because it's that's why. Yeah, you've got NFC teams.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Fans that may not understand the math of it.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
You can't drop this one.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
No NFC loss NFC losses, no, and especially not this one.
This is the team that this is one of the
teams that you're chasing, one of the one of the
multiple teams, because there's I mean, there's just a bottleneck
of teams trying to get into those final couple wild
card spots right.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
Now, and we're all in the hunts right now, everybody.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
And if you if you have a chance to further
yourself while also knocking one of those other ones out
of the fight, that's what this week.
Speaker 6 (13:36):
And also this is on top of all of that
being true, this is a Detroit Lions team that came
into your house last year and hung almost fifty on
your neck. There is only nine points, so you have
all the motivation in the world to now go into
their living room and do the exact same thing to them.
So do it, don't do it.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
Don't tie either though.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Get yourself no ties, no more time.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
We don't like I already still don't like that time.
All right, we're gonna take a quick break. On the
other side of the break, we've got QB Vision with
Isaiah Stamba, who is waking up as we speak.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
We got to get that black rifle coffee flowing. Oh i'mloaded?
Oh are you?
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Oh yeah, okay, And then we've got get your popcorn
ready with Josh Rodriguez in the third segment, and then
we're going to make our picks for the game.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
That's how jam packed this show is.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
We can start with QB Vision when we come back
with more talking cowboys right after this.
Speaker 8 (14:36):

Speaker 5 (16:10):
You have some great talent.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
And they got some fight hoping. This is the year

Back here on Talking Cowboys, presented by Black Rifle Coffee Company.
This segment is brought to you by Invisi Line, the
Official Smile of the Dallas Cowboys back with Patrick Noci Walker,
Josh Rodriguez, and Chris Beam in the back. I'm Kyle Yeomans.
We have Isaiah stanback was ready for some.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Why why Eddie put up?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
It's time for QB vision with Isaiah's stands back.
Speaker 5 (17:15):
Giant like you up there? Yeah for MotorCity, right, buddy,
wrap it up.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Listen here, I'm listening. They missed Aaron Glenn.
Speaker 6 (17:27):
Hmm.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
You think so good for those that don't know who
Aaron Glenn is. He is the head coach of the
New York Football Giants. Jets. I know, I just want
to flow it out there.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
Uh, Jets. He should be he should have been a
Giants head. He should have waited a year.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
Yeah. No, he's the head coach of the Jets.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
And he became the head coach of the Jets because
of his prowess as a defensive coordinator, really good defensive coordinator.
Jets played some pretty good defense. They don't necessarily score
a lot of points. But he's no longer in Detroit.
That hurts them tremendously. You would have thought that they
would have been able to pick up and keep going
with some of the guys that they have in place.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
They're not. They're not that same team. I thought it
was no coordinators.
Speaker 6 (18:10):
No, yeah, well the coordinators kind of called the players, Kyle,
players going to need to call play what's called?
Speaker 1 (18:16):
And these guys are playing one coverage? Wait, one of them?
What do you mean one? That's your tip? They're playing
one coverage.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
One coverage, one game. Yeah, what the heck?
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, to coverage? Flip now, flip those two words one
in coverage. What coverage? Are they playing cover on one?
Speaker 5 (18:34):
I'll tell you what, guys.
Speaker 6 (18:36):
I'm not gonna say that this defense is trash. I'm
not going to say that this defense is compost. But
I will say this defense is recyclable. M recyclable. It
needs to go on its own bind. If you try
to put it in the trash, you'll get fined. That's
what we do in Seattle, Hot least. Uh, they will
go in your garbage can and write you a fine buddy.
(18:56):
Really yeah, so put this in a recyclable bin.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Okay? Is that because they recycled place or they recycle
plays all the time.
Speaker 6 (19:05):
This is a team I don't remember what other team
it was a couple of weeks back where you knew
what they were going to Arizona. Is that No, Arizona
was not that well, I don't remember what it was.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
These guys, huh Vegas, Vegas? Might I think it might
have been Vegas? Yeah, yeah, I think it was Vegas.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
These guys are playing, man, Yeah, eighty five percent of
the time, you're gonna come out and it's going to
be single high.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
You know exactly what you're getting.
Speaker 6 (19:30):
It's literally school yard football lineup.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Let's play let's lace them up. I'm a man, you're
a man. Let's see who wins.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
We're just two men.
Speaker 6 (19:39):
We're just two men out here on this fifty three
and a half yard wid about one hundred and twenty
yard long.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Just feel just playing in between the lines, you know. Uh,
that's what it is.
Speaker 6 (19:50):
So man to man defense all the time, even when
they go too high shell. These guys want to play
two man. If one way in which you can force
them into a true zone, you can control whether.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Not they play zone.
Speaker 6 (20:01):
Every so often the lineup in too high and they
try to play you know, Cover four or really soft
cover two. You can make them play too high shell
zone defense by going into bunch not they don't listen
to this show, i'd imagine, but yeah, you can. You
can force them into zone. You also can have some
(20:25):
tremendous plays, big splash plays, if you know which concepts
to run. I'm not going to put that out there
on the air because I don't want that to get
crept out there. But there are certain concepts that they
like to try to cut with their safeties. Their safeties
are uber aggressive. They want to come downhill, they want
(20:47):
to come make the big hit branch wants to come
hit you in the face. These guys wanting to lay
the big hat. So by being that, you can take
advantage of their over aggressiveness with their safeties. So there
are concepts that you can know what routes they're going
to cut and then you can get behind them.
Speaker 7 (21:03):
Man, I ask, what is the benefit of putting a
man defense in zone on occasion when you want to
if you are Clayton Adams or Brian Schotenheimer one more time,
what is the benefit of putting them into zone forcing
them all?
Speaker 6 (21:15):
Yeah, yeah, I mean just shorter routes, shorter concept routes.
I mean, these guys aren't necessarily the best man to
man defenders either, So I don't foresee there being any
problems in our passing game. Typically when teams run man
to man coverage, they typically bring pressure because they're trying
to take away the amount of time that you have
to throw the ball and the amount of space that
you have to get open. This team is not doing that.
(21:37):
This team is playing press man and they're not really
bringing a lot of pressure.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Do they think Aiden Hutchinson is the pressure?
Speaker 6 (21:43):
He's not him right now, Hu Hutchinson is not what
he was.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Don't say that. I'm just telling you. I'm just telling
you on film. I mean he's he's the second highest
pressure rate in the NFL. That's fine and dandy.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
Just like leave eight and alone. I'm leaving alone. I'm
not trying to poke the bear. I'm not trying to
poke the bear. But I'm saying, like you're not, he's
not doing anything. He's a high effort guy. You know
what you're going to get out of him, right, He's
a high effort guys. He to wolver in the Detroit All.
I can see what you guys did there. He's a
high effort guy. I'm not seeing crazy like moves or
counters or any of those things. He's a long I
(22:15):
didn't realize how tall he was. He's six seven to
sixty five or whatever it is.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
He's like a machine.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
He's like to take.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
I had no idea how tall he was. So you
see it.
Speaker 8 (22:24):
Though.
Speaker 6 (22:25):
He uses his arms right, He'll he'll power rescue, He'll
use his arms. He'll snatch and release like, he'll snatch
and pool like. He does all those things that the
basic fundamental defensive end things.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Along with high effort.
Speaker 6 (22:36):
So I say that he's not flashing because he's not
doing anything flashy. He just does the fundamentals really well.
So I'm not fearful of him. I respect the crap
out of him, but he's not somebody that I'm like, Okay,
we need to add help.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I'm fearful of him, I'm not so.
Speaker 6 (22:54):
I think that our offensive line, whenever they do bring pressure,
they're usually lined up right across. They like to do
the little double a gap thing. Typically the guy who's
stepping forward with his first step is the guy that's leaving.
The guy who's a little bit back and fakes like
he's going back, he's coming. They don't really mix that
up very well either. So I say all that to
say that they're such pretty predictable. Obviously, Aiden Hutcherson's their
guy defensively that you have to be concerned about. I
(23:17):
respect Brian Branch's physicality, but he doesn't wrap up.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
He's a good player, but he doesn't wrap up at all.
Speaker 6 (23:23):
And the one two guys that I really respect at
the second level that are really good players to me
are Alex enz Alone. I've always liked his game. I'm
also Jack Campbell. I like his game as well. Both
of those guys are really good linebackers. Derek Barnes is
a big linebacker. He usually they usually use him as
kind of like a stand up defensive end. They'll go
to an under set, they'll rotate the linebackers over and
(23:44):
stand him up, so it looks like a five down front.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
But he's really just an overhang yea. So they're not
doing a lot.
Speaker 6 (23:51):
There's really not much to There's really not much, and
I've watched three games. It's pretty simplistic. It's almost like
too simplistic. So I'm looking forward to seeing what Dallas
does offensively against this unit. You would like to establish
a run game. Their commitment to us taking away the
run is pretty high. They play downhill. Their front seven
(24:12):
is their gap discipline up front, and then the linebackers
free flow.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
They hit, they hit the hole.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
But there's a lot of opportunity in a passing game
like this is a four hundred yard passing day for that.
Speaker 5 (24:21):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (24:22):
I like those words, but I will say it's a
little concerning. I mean, granted, you're talking about your evaluation
of eight Hunchson so far, and he may have taken
a step back at least after his injury coming back
from his injury. But like we just talked about in
the first segment, Tyler Goiten's not playing this game most
likely more than like.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
I actually like that better?
Speaker 5 (24:39):
You like that better?
Speaker 1 (24:40):
I hate to say that, but I like that on
this game.
Speaker 5 (24:43):
Why is that?
Speaker 6 (24:45):
I just feel as if this type of player is
to the disadvantage of Guiden, somebody who are along hit
the same size as him, who can snatch and throw him.
I don't think Giden has consistently has that dog in
him yet. And this is somebody that you need to
go out there in mall.
Speaker 5 (25:03):
And if he's going up against Terrence Steel, I.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
Like it against still I like, I like, I like
that matchup.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Still still being fundamental, fundamental, fundamentally sound.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
Terrence Steel has that Terrence Steele fundamentally is sound. Terrence Steele.
Whenever you challenge his manhood, is I really like it?
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Right? When you mono another man trying to like by speed, Yes,
he gets beat by speed. A big guy, a big.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
Lanky guy who plays one direction and goes balls to
the wall.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
I don't. I have no issues with he's still in
that scenario.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
Like I'm gonna add some signs to this, Yeah, like
some sign on the t Steel. So this is going
back to the Raiders game. Okay, So going through the
Raiders game, we already know that he was very well
against in his one on ones against Max crossby Terrence
Steel on talking same type of player, same.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Type of player.
Speaker 6 (25:51):
He again did his damn thing against Jalen Phillips, thirteen
reps in one v one only three pressures allowed, zero sex,
no tackles allowed for Jaalen Phillips. Fast forward to the
Kansas City Chiefs game Terrence Steele in thirty nine pass
pros allowed zero quarterback pressures, zero pressures, zero sex.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Terrence Steele.
Speaker 6 (26:13):
Ever since Shoddy said this is an open competition, they're
locked down.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
He has been a locked down.
Speaker 6 (26:19):
So he challenged his manhood, got challenges manhood, and Terren
Steele has answered the bill in a massive, massive way.
So this isn't to say that I'm garan. I'm not
guaranteeing that eight and Hunchinson won't get you know.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
A player get one Steel.
Speaker 6 (26:32):
What I'm saying though, is this sample size from Terrence
Steele is growing. Okay, Now we're talking three games in
and of two of those games you have, well, I'll
say three games. You have elite defensive fronts that you're
going up against, and you have elite edge rushers that
you're going up against. And Terrence Steele has dominated, not
just played well, he's dominated them in one on one with.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Very little assistance.
Speaker 6 (26:56):
So I say that to say I like our chances
against eight and Hunchson. That's not to say eight and
is not a dog because he's an absolute. He doesn't,
he doesn't have an off suite, an animal. But Terrence Steele,
all you need to do is just keep it going. Yeah,
I like the match, Just keep it.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
Don't be afraid to chip block him either.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Man.
Speaker 7 (27:09):
I'm I'm definitely of the mind of like the Dallas
Cowboys have the opportunity to solidify that offensive line and
be able to stop a guy like Aiden Huncherson. But
I don't want to just take it for granted and
basically say like, oh, one on ones across the board
will be fine, like account for him.
Speaker 6 (27:24):
I don't disagree with you, but I would like to
see I think that you. I think I am confident
enough in Steal's ability majority of the time they call
it fifty percent at the time.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
What has been for Ferguson has been mostly chip and flat. Hey,
I called it.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
I called him chip in flat the last few weeks, Right,
that's what he's been doing. I don't want to see
him in that in that regard anymore. I want this
if there's ever a game having done. Last week was
a good week for it because they played lives long.
But this week, in terms of one of your matchup, like,
Branch can't cover, he can't.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
He cannot cover. He was never really that.
Speaker 6 (27:54):
No, he would hit that crap out of you. He
won't wrap you up. He'll hit the crap out of
you him and his little mouthpiece up there. But bro
like he can't cover, so like fur can can destroy
in this system, in this game, I don't want to
see him sitting up there chipping all day long, Like
I really don't. I would much rather you come out
in twelve personnel. I was just gonna ask twelve person
personnel and if you want to put you know, a
(28:15):
dog on School School School, either on School Maker or Brevin,
either one of those guys, even either one of them.
I like Breath too, I like I definitely like Breath.
I like the size on size there, but Schoolmaker is
I think Schoolmaker when you have somebody that's head up,
he handles his business too right, school and Maker got
a little dog in him. So I like, I like
either one of those guys, But I don't want to
see fer negatid to just chip and flat.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
How about the possibility of seeing breav and whoever he's
next to in line at the tight end position going
up against Aiden Hutchinson. I mean, that's just it looks
like what they saw when it was like, yeah, it
was like Transformers, Like you got both guys.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
With all this. They're the same body type.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
Yeah, literally Gladiators against the Lions.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Literally literally yeah quite literally too large.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
They're both six foot seven and they're gonna stand next
to everybody else and look big on that line.
Speaker 6 (29:04):
This is a this is at least a five splash
play game for Dallas. Got to like, no, like legit
because you're gonna be able to block it up. You're
gonna be able to see where the blitz is coming from. Yeah,
K identify my responsibilities, No, execute your assignment. Splash players
are gonna happen again. Arnold is not going to be
on the field.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
No, And that's the one of their huge loss for them.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
I'm gonna circle back to this the stat that I
was reading last night, and you've kind of backed it
up by saying it is simplistic and it is situationally predictable, as.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
They had Tyers Weed over there. Yeah, they do have Wiske.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Last year and really throughout Aaron Glenn's entire tenure as
the defensive coordinator in Detroit, they ran base packages twenty
nine point five percent of the time, So nearly thirty
percent of the time they ran base packages. Now that
it's Kelton Shepard as the defensive coordinator this year, that
went from thirty percent to sixty four percent base package.
(30:03):
So what's why are they comfortable doing that? What is
the reason why they run just because simplastic base defenses
it goes without changing things up.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
It goes back to what I said, they want to
They want to commit to take away to run like
they literally they walk into every week saying, Okay, you're
not running the ball against us, like we'll have to
figure out the pass defense, but you're not running the ball,
so that that's not wavering. So that base defense allows
for you to have four down linemen, three linebackers at
all times. That's what they do. When you get into
eleven personnel and you really stretch the field, they struggle,
(30:34):
man like, they struggle when you.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
Have a short motion. They don't know how to pass
stuff off.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
I do believe in Javonte, but it's gonna be a
difficult week for Javonte to get off because these guys
play downhill and I'm telling you, the splash plays are there.
You might have two yards here, one yard here, forty like.
It's that type of game. It really is that type
of game, and you're gonna be you'd be frustrated, frustrated,
you know, knock the table over type of deal. That's
(30:59):
that's the type of game that you're gonna have. They'll
get their penalties. This is a ten penalty defense. They'll
get ten, just like last week they got ten and
you had one hundred and whatever forty yards of penalty yardage.
It'll be the same thing. Either they're gonna be a
catch for us, there's gonna be a penalty on them.
And then when you get to the red zone, you
have to be a final way to run the ball.
Speaker 7 (31:17):
We're pretty goodt drawing penalties now. I guess yes, they're
coming our way.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Thanks, Kansas City, appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
But you're in their home, so maybe they and it
does get loud in there, which is one of the
loudest environments.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Maybe they would. I don't know. I know what you
Maybe you're gonna find a little magic, a little motown magic.
Speaker 6 (31:34):
Maybe they get a little assistance, the advantage of the thing.
It's a thing, so don't let it be close.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
I like it all right.
Speaker 3 (31:40):

You can't get your popcorn ready after the game's over.
I gotta get your popcorn ready before the game happened.
Speaker 1 (35:33):
Hit Me, hit your Popcorn.
Speaker 7 (35:36):
It's a bold prediction segment with a cinematic theme. And
as we all know, there are too many movies to
choose from, so each of you only gets one, and you've.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
Got to choose.
Speaker 7 (35:45):
All right, Oh, he's are out this week? Guys, do
we know we've got We don't even know what day
it is. Well, Sinners is coming back to Imax?
Speaker 1 (35:53):
Is it really?
Speaker 5 (35:53):
One battle after another is coming back to Imax?
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Kill Bill, a whole bloody of fair kill Bill.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
Bean was just telling me about Zootopia two.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Topia two was awesome.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
Game's excited you see it?
Speaker 3 (36:03):
The original z Utopia is one of the pretty the
second on. They didn't drop the children's films i've ever seen.
They didn't drop the ball in the second And.
Speaker 7 (36:11):
Of course there's Wicked, but not the musical. No, how
about Wicked fours? Good number four, exact Redscott Stars, the
Wizard of.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
War. Good brother.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
It gets better though, Hit it Beam, Hit the Tommy Drop.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Beam walked away, Beam walked away.
Speaker 5 (36:41):
All right, he's a reach and he'll dial.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Up from behind.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
All.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
I love how you called this the Tommy drop.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
It is the Tommy Drop.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
I know, but I just love that.
Speaker 5 (36:54):
That's oh yeah, it.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Is all right.
Speaker 7 (36:56):
Dak Prescott stars is the wizard of offense, and he'll
dial up magic from behind the curtain, leaving Dan.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
Campbell to throw clip order two and hit a high note.
Speaker 7 (37:09):
And Dak press asking to throw four touchdown it.
Speaker 6 (37:14):
No, please clip that, Please clip that, Please clip that.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
You're wicked? What oh good? Beam? You have to play that?
Speaker 6 (37:24):
If you clip that and play that bro.
Speaker 5 (37:29):
Okay, But these ain't cowardly lions.
Speaker 7 (37:33):
There's no love loss from the sideline over there, because
we're about to visit.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
Hate mile oh.
Speaker 7 (37:40):
Dan Campbell himself stated that they have may have had
their one shot, their one opportunity in the NFC Championship
two years ago, and they were on a roll last
year till they collapsed against the Commanders in Division Round,
so close to seizing everything they ever wanted, but they
let it slip.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
It's time.
Speaker 7 (37:56):
Is it time for Detroit to snap back to reality
because they want mom spaghetti on a Cowboys sideline jacket.
This week, the stat of prediction is Dallas hosts I'm sorry.
Detroit holds Dallas to under sixty yards rushing m Javante
averages about eighty yards a game currently. Thanks to Chris
Beam in the back for the note there. But back
(38:17):
to the lib again. Our final movie. What are some
movie sitting Detroit?
Speaker 5 (38:20):
Do you guys know?
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Well, you said so eight mile? What's the another one that?
There's plenty of them?
Speaker 7 (38:26):
There's a Mark Wahlberg joint. Four brothers? How about the
four brothers? Press coverage? Off coverage?
Speaker 5 (38:36):
It doesn't matter because.
Speaker 7 (38:39):
It's Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens, nothing but good vibrations
paired with fur and turps.
Speaker 5 (38:44):
They're a funky bunch.
Speaker 7 (38:45):
But these two foreign cards are rolling through motor City
and Detroit's secondary can't handle these whips.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
I like those words. Don't you say that in front
of Mark?
Speaker 5 (38:55):
You don't like that?
Speaker 1 (38:56):
I like that.
Speaker 7 (38:57):
The prediction is a combined to two hundred and fifty
receiving our It's for both CD and George Pickens combined.
Speaker 6 (39:03):
To fifty to feety too fitty.
Speaker 3 (39:07):
So the first one and the last one can kind
of go hand in hand.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
If a big day hat if you will, yeah, I'm
going with uh. He's got to wrap.
Speaker 7 (39:17):
Up Cowboys Nation. Get up, get down, move your feet,
leave your seat, don't lose yourself. But lose your mind
in Detroit Rock City. Get to Popcorn ready because it's
going to be a show.
Speaker 1 (39:30):
That was awesome that the.
Speaker 5 (39:33):
First one I knew the first one is not.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Gonna go for we get forced good God, the high
note is the highlight of my week.
Speaker 5 (39:44):
I'm glad.
Speaker 1 (39:44):
Yeah that was you did. It was very good.
Speaker 7 (39:47):
I have him up yeah Broadway in your bad some hotrod. Yeah,
I've done some performance on stage. I'll not go any further.
Speaker 1 (39:55):
Little Elm High School, Little LM Middle School? Is this
is there video? Lobos snow Films. Maybe don't say that
is their video? That's why you like tassels.
Speaker 5 (40:09):
Oh there's video behind a paywall.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
I would pay get to the top. All right.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
So we've got four as good wicked for as good,
wicked for as good for is wicked good? You could
do that like that sounds like shut It sounds like
Boston wicked.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
He's got a wicked as you already got hate Mile,
Hate Mile and the four Brothers.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
The four brothers, I'm going wickeds for good.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
So that's that four tuddies, four tuds for Dak Prescott.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
Yeah, yeah, four throws four. The Wizard of Offense was
a good line.
Speaker 6 (40:46):
It doesn't even require a whole breakdown. I mean, look
at the matchup. Look at the schematic matchup in addition
to the personnel matchup. Look at the fact that, like
as I said, Aaron Glynn is not there to save
you from this one. So I think Jeorish Pickens, ceed Lamb,
I think Jake gets his. I think that just goes crazy. Man,
This is a secondary that loves the man up. Like
(41:07):
Isaiah said, Ceedy Lamb and and George Pickens. They're gonna
they love that type of stuff.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
They love that.
Speaker 6 (41:13):
Plus, lions just don't have only not only the dogs
to run with them, mana man, but they don't have
the safeties to be able to cover.
Speaker 1 (41:21):
So man, that's gonna go crazy. I have touchdowns, all right.
Speaker 5 (41:26):
You just messed up the whole time.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
That's not me.
Speaker 6 (41:30):
But added butter to my popcorn?
Speaker 12 (41:33):
Okay, extra but extra butter, always extra butter, always extra.
Speaker 4 (41:39):
You know.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
Like that?
Speaker 6 (41:42):
Come on, Oh man, was giving a show on BT
back in the day, the Little Claymation Show.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
What was it on BT? Yeah, I'm thinking about a Oldjorey.
Speaker 6 (42:01):
Yeah you go all right, but you did have crackads
in your neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
If I did, I didn't know where they were in.
Speaker 5 (42:12):
I never know.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Some of the best conversations Beagleville, Texas. Baby, alright, you got.
Speaker 7 (42:16):
Four's good, you got Haate Mile and you've got the
four brothers.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
Do you pick one ticket?
Speaker 5 (42:23):
One ticket?
Speaker 1 (42:23):
One? Oh? No, like the Lions for is good for
is good?
Speaker 5 (42:29):
It is wicked for is good? All right, you're gonna
hit the high note, give it a shot.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
No, there's only one person who can hit that high note.
That's clipped, bro, We're using that everywhere. That was Curry
the Target commercial. Like, that's that's how you're gonna get
signed from that. I got a record exactly.
Speaker 3 (42:51):
So you went wicked for as good you went wicked
for as sure it did. I think I'm gonna make
it a clean sweep on my broom, like Alpha Ba
get up there with the.
Speaker 1 (43:02):
Queen the clean sweep broom. Yeah, stop it.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
So when it comes to Dak, I agree with Isaiah
in the way that he said it's it's gonna be the.
Speaker 1 (43:13):
Bacon play, the big play ability, the splash plays.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
So I think they hit on one, if not two,
big time touchdowns.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
And then I think in.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
The yeah, forty plus thirty plus something like that, two
plus forty and then maybe a couple of red zone
like off the goal line. You use Jake Ferguson because
Brian Branch can't cover you kind of go yep, get
right back to it.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
Maybe not the chip, just the flat, just a flat.
Speaker 5 (43:36):
I gotta go the four brothers.
Speaker 7 (43:37):
It's not gonna be a clean sweep this week, but
I like what Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens arenna be
able to do against the Detroit Lions defense.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Bold prediction. Jake Ferguson scores on a shake route. Shake crowd,
you're saying that with the Lions question.
Speaker 6 (43:51):
He runs face say he used to run an out
route and goes right across the middle.
Speaker 7 (43:54):
Touchdown, It'll either be a drop or out of bound.
Speaker 1 (43:58):
Bold.
Speaker 6 (43:58):
Well, the last time I said, I did you know No.
Three and No thirty ones for Philadelphia? That was both
say it again, that was.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Bold the same all right, but see how bold? Not
a chip or flat route.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
Let's see how bold your your game pick is. Who
do you think wins it on Thursday?
Speaker 6 (44:17):
You know what, Prior to watching the film, I was
saying Detroit, and then I turned the film on and
I feel as if Detroit is gonna get I think
they're gonna get handled. Yeah, as long as our defense
can stop Gibbs will be fine. But I think I
think we handle them.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
Let's go.
Speaker 6 (44:36):
It's almost a forty burger. Thinking thirty eight, I want
to say thirty nine. My body'saying third, So thirty nine seventeen, Okay,
I want not only do I want to pay back
for what happened last year, but I feel like this team,
this offense is capable of running it up against this
(44:58):
defense that's also without you know, key cornerback and scheme
just doesn't work.
Speaker 1 (45:03):
This particular scheme.
Speaker 6 (45:04):
If they try to run man against this Cowboys team,
they are going to get run out of their own stadium.
So yeah, I think the Cowboys deliver us some wood
a burger this week. So I'm going forty with the Cowboys.
I think Jamiir Gibbs gets a couple of explosives, but
I think that's where it ends. And I think the
Cowboys defense strap in. So forty seventeen Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
Wow, Yeah, I think it was pricing right man.
Speaker 3 (45:29):
Who hopefully play this on Friday, I'm gonna do uh,
I'm gonna. I'm kind of in the same boat. I
really do think Dallas.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
Is playing better football than Detroit.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
I think Detroit is an exceptionally talented team, so I
don't think it's a blowout. But I do think Dallas
controls kind of like they did against Kansas City in
the second half, controls the pace of play, kind of
controls the way that this this thing kind of unfolds,
and then a late touchdown makes it a one possession game,
but not enough to really challenge it.
Speaker 1 (46:10):
I'm gonna say, thirty four to twenty eight. Cowboys get
it done. Thirty four to touchdowns. What was that, Jesus
to who who's getting the four touchdowns? Dak I just said, no, no,
twenty eight, Philadelpha. I mean for Detroit, they've got weapons,
they'll be fine. Mine or Saint Brown will play, he'll
be I don't know.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
I think it's gonna be thirty four to twenty eight.
And like I said, I think it may be one
of those games where it's like thirty four to twenty
one or thirty four fourteen, and then they get a
little bit of a run down the stretch, try and
close the gap.
Speaker 1 (46:43):
That's what I think the game.
Speaker 6 (46:44):
My last three predictions have been like three, three, and four, respectively.
But I think I think the coupleys walk these lines
that well.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
I hope you're right what you think, Josh, I don't
feel good. Oh no, you got bubbles.
Speaker 5 (47:01):
I'm not feeling the bubble. I think the storybook comes
to an end.
Speaker 7 (47:06):
No, we talked about this gauntlet all year long, and
we've so far made it out three and oh in
its gauntlet that we've talked about. I don't think it
quite happens in this one. I think this is a
heavyweight fight. I think it's culture versus culture. It's gonna
be a tough one. I think the Detroit Lions are
going to win thirty one twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (47:28):
Wow, I respect your opinion. I don't like it.
Speaker 5 (47:30):
I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (47:31):
No, it's fine because what that does is prevent the jinks.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
So well, I will say, we've we've all picked the cowboys.
Speaker 1 (47:40):
I know more often than not, he's I see what
he's doing there.
Speaker 5 (47:43):
Yeah, I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
No, No, I see what you're doing.
Speaker 7 (47:46):
Sorry, someone hates me in the chat. I understand what
joined I understand.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
