NOTES, SOURCES, & FURTHER READING
This episode was recorded live in front of a gathering of our friends while the film was playing in front of us. If you watch the film while listening to the episode, it almost works as a commentary. We do end up rewinding and rewatching some bits due to streaming issues, but you will get the gist. We are the only ones with microphones, but we did attempt to make the various asides of our audience audible for you.
Tim refers to Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday as being released in 1991. It was actually released in 1993. He was confusing its release date with that of Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.
Neither of us has read The Importance of Being Ernest: The Life of Actor Jim Varney (Stuff that Vern doesn't even know) by Jim Lloyd (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, 2013) or Keeper of the Clown: My Life with Ernest! by John Cherry (John Cherry Synidication, LLC, 2013). Should we ever return to the world of Worrell, these will most likely be our main sources of information.
