Deep within the shifting sands of the Desert of Doubt, Team Link meets new friends in the Gerudo and Zuna tribes, the latter being the original builders of the Pyramid that Ganondorf has trespassed upon. Following in the mysterious Gerudo tribe member’s footsteps, the Links discover the Trident of Power has been removed from it’s hidden plinth within the Pyramid. The trident’s inscription promises its wielder great power to destroy and corrupt, pressing the Links to quickly free the Purple Maiden and make haste for Frozen Hyrule and the Tower of Winds.
