Tonight on the show Travis Widrick joined us. We caught up and chatted about his summer rebuilding his family farm, learning to be resourceful, and, of course, his tango journey. We also discussed the bridges that tango creates for us into other communities we may otherwise not be able to access. It was a very fun and interesting conversation as usual. Maria Elena Ybarra joined us as well and we discussed the roles in tango, the biases in tango, and how we can help overcome these prejudices by first acknowledging that they exist. We covered so many interesting topics and I learned a lot about how we can help to foster a more welcoming community. Thank you all for listening, calling and being a part of this while we are all apart. We will continue to bring you great shows to keep us connected socially as we learn and talk about Tango as it has so many layers.
