"Buku adalah wasilah," ujar Abang Rosli Ibrahim, dan dia mula membibit dalam sedu, kisah si ayahnya membawa pulang buku yang dikutip dari tong sampah untuk anaknya membaca. "Apa sahaja yang kau lalui, harus ada cinta kepada pengetahuan," ujarnya lagi, dan untuk Abang Rosli, ayahnya adalah intelektual sejati. Sosok ayahnya, saban seusai menarik beca, akan memperuntukkan sedikit wang untuk membeli buku dan akhbar untuk anak-anaknya membaca. "Ramai orang membaca, tetapi tidak merasa gelisah," sambungnya lagi.
