”Av alla seder och bruk som leder till politiskt välstånd är religionen och moralen de mest oundgängliga” Med dessa ord band USA:s förste president George Washington samman politik, religion och moral till en enhet. Och är det något vi vet om amerikansk politik, så är det att religionen har haft en framträdande roll och att en ateistisk presidentkandidat är chanslös. Nu står valet för dörren i USA och Teologiska Rummet ska försöka utröna relationen religion, politik och samhälle.
