Paulus såg sig själv som hedningarnas – de icke-kristnas - apostel som stred för att alla skulle kunna bli del av den tidiga Jesusrörelsen - urkyrkan - utan att först bli judar, utan att behöva omskära sig eller underkasta sig Lagen. Det är inte laggärningarna som leder till rättfärdighet utan tron. Men hur väl stämmer Luthers version av rättfärdiggörelse genom tro allena med Paulus?
