Written and directed by James Gunn, Superman is superhero film based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. It is the first film in the DC Universe (DCU) produced by DC Studios.
When Superman (David Corenswet) gets drawn into conflicts at home and abroad, his actions are questioned, giving tech billionaire Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) the opportunity to get the Man of Steel out of the way for good. Intrepid reporter Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), Superman’s four-legged companion, Krypo, and the Justice Gang are there to help him.
