In the Summer of 2016 Sonya decided to "just go." Everything in her life was falling apart and she was despirate to get away from everything. She had longed for adventure and travel since she was a child but that seemed like the kind of frivelous thing that people did when they weren't busy being responsible in an overbooked, and taxing existence.
