Speaker 1 (00:01):
The sun is shining out clot in the sky.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
We wouldn't know because we're so happy inside.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Some people.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
On some skis, but we would rather sit on down
and talk some movies. We're the evid Indoorsmen. Come listen
to our show. We're the evid indoorsmen at home around
the gold We're the evident Indoorsmen.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
We hope you love it, so come on in and stay.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
We'll do our best to make you smile with the
indoors man.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
What is happening? I'm Rob Lunquez Good and we are
the Avid Indoorsment. Hello everyone, Hello are you? I'm good.
I just living the life. I don't know. You're living
the life man, they tell me, how are you? I'm
doing well. You already saw it. But I got the
(01:03):
new the New Wolves jersey the other night. That was
really fun. I figured this would be an appropriate episode
to wear it. I don't know why, what do you mean?
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Well, there's basketball involved, yes, because they started playing when
they were teens.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
I see right, Yes, No, I love It's wonderful. That
is my favorite jersey of all time. I think I
love it too, so much. And the black one with
the green trees is amazing too. We have the best
alternate jerseys in the league. Kind of the regular ones
are not great. Well, the black ones with the trees
(01:38):
are the regular ones now right? Or they do those
gray ones with the neon green. They do the the
blue and the white. It's just those ones. Yeah, don't
do anything for me. But I thought the trees were
normal unis this year. But maybe they're I don't. I
think it's like the alternate, but maybe it doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yes, yeah, I love those a lot. Honestly, if they
just wanted to wear the Prince ones all.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
The time, I'd be like, all the time, I may
do it. Let's change the color palette. I don't care.
It's wonderful. I love it. I was hoping that you
would talk to me about that fun gig you did
the other night with some of our friends.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Oh yes, thank you for bringing up, because I already
forgot we sang for Do you know Frasier House in
the in the Twin Cities that big?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
It's not s R right it Gret.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yes they do, yes, yes, Uh they work with adults.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
I guess. I don't know if it's only adults.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
They work with the people who have a developmental disability
stuff going on of sort of it seems like varying capacities.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I think that Adam's wife, Erica used to work there.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yes, that makes a ton of sense. That makes a
ton of sense. But they have it's like this huge
organization now they have like homes for people to live,
they help with like occupational stuff, They helped with kiddos.
It seems like all the way.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Up to adults. Uh.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
And I honestly, I was not a part of booking
this gig, so I had no idea And we were
part of their big gala which was super fun, just
a very small part of it. But it was this
big to do at the Depot downtown, which was really fun,
cool swanky event. They did like a what like poodle
(03:27):
skirts and all that stuff, which is why they wanted
a barber shop. E. We're not really a group, but
that's where we were. Our buddy Dan Ristrom came out
and sang with us, which.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Was fun and he's been on the pod even yep.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Because Steele was had to be somewhere else that night.
So it was super fun. Man, we did it was
real easy. The part that was tough about it is
like inside of rockapella stuff, Like we sang off mic
in a room full of a ton of people and
kind of just walk around. Luckily that crew of people
is super okay with a weird.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Game, so it was we had a nice time, you know,
like but that is a tough look. Oh yeah, people,
if you're ever gonna like throw a party, just know
that if you get an a cappella group to go
and sing to tables, they're hating their lives. Yeah, most
more often than.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
And you know, a couple times it was fun. We
were singing Cherry Baby, and there happened to be a
lady named Cherry right there, So.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
That was fun.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Love that, but yeah, it's just generally and it really
hard for a base to sing.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, or if you have a beat boxer too, I know,
brass and beat boxers hate that. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yeah, so you know, it wasn't perfect, but I don't know,
it was just fun. We were able to lean into
it and just have a nice time and we got guessie, did.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Dan say anything about it? He hasn't done the acapella
thing and forever, Yeah, he was.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
It's it's such an interesting gig too, because all those
people sing acapella, but not a lot, you know what
I mean, And I don't either anymore. But like I
was like, yeah, it's pretty standard acapella gig. They're all
kind of weird, you know, but it was just so fun. Yeah,
Dan was like I haven't saying this kind of stuff
and forever. And yeah, he came in and was like,
(05:15):
I want to sing lead on Sherry Baby, and I
was like, please, sir, take it away. I'm great with that,
you know. I thought I was gonna have to scream
that out.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
It was wonderful not to.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
But yeah, he's wonderful, as you know, all those dudes are.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
So we'll see. Maybe we'll do more of those gigs.
I don't know. That's funny because I book them because
I didn't know what was happening. But the event was
super cool.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
They raised like a million dollars I think just north
of a billion dots, so it was a huge event.
We saw our buddy Brandon from the Pod, one of
his great buddies from high school, Jeremiah, who you know
was there during chancing stuff, and that was super fun.
It was just it was.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
A lovely evening.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Plus I think we started at five and we were
out of there by six fifteen, Like, come on.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Here, come on, you're talking to me. I know, right,
It's just like that's a real nice I'm going to
go home park. This is great. You know, that's beautiful.
Everything about it was so easy. And you got a
new You got a new outfit too, didn't they get you? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:19):
I think we were in talks to buy them, but
I think we're gonna look elsewhere.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
It's just like a renting and they just they.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Rented it on our behalf and that was awesome.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
So cool. Yeah, it was pretty great.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
But yeah, it was fun.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
It was fun. What have you been doing, you know,
just uh, just watching movies? I hear that, Well, tell
me about the most recent one you've seen. I feel
silly about it because I did bring it up that
I had watched it yesterday, so it's not a big surprise.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
That's okay. I did the same thing, So okay.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Cool. So I ended up watching the movie Weapons on
your recommendation. Hell yes, Rob, Hell it was. It was
past Halloween when I watched, but still kind of close,
still in that kind of feel, so I was like,
I'm gonna go for it. And that movie is just
absolutely bonkers. It freaked me out so much. I was
(07:10):
telling you this, but I watched it alone in my bunk,
and I had to pause several times to just laugh
at myself for how I was jumping and just being horrified.
It had all the scary things that had, the jump scares,
the psychological scares, the gore, which I could have done
less with that door. Yeah, yeah, more than more than
(07:33):
I was super into. But yeah, great actors Julie Garner,
Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong, Alden Ehrenreich, and just an insane
performance from Amy Madigan. Just she's the best. I mean,
it's unbelievable, it's crazy. Yeah, and that was a trip
(07:55):
because I had just shown the kids Uncle Buck the
same week I watched this, So that was a trip. Yeah,
I if I had to nitpick a bit, sure, I
just I wish you would have gotten some sort of
backstory on Amy Madigan's character and why she was she
(08:17):
was doing this, like we might get a prequel or something.
Maybe there's definitely room for that, yeah, because for sure, yeah,
there was open Yeah, but I hear you, yeah, because
I didn't and I didn't even really understand her motives. Either,
because it didn't seem to do anything for her, So
I was like, yeah, that part I didn't. That's my
(08:41):
biggest nitpick with that movie. It's still that movie is
a great movie.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Bonker's super fun if you can get past that stuff,
because I understand if I am a scaredy cat, and
if you are a scaredy cat and can't watch that,
god bless you watch something else. But if you can
get through it, I think that movie's worth watching. It's
it's also they use humor so effectively as a release valve,
Like there's several points that are really funny in it.
(09:07):
So yeah, I don't know how you watch that without
being able to pace around the room though, because that's
what I had to do.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
Like I said, I had to pause. I had to
pause a few times just compose myself, and at a
couple of the jump scares, I even went back to
be like because it's so fast, or just like what
am I actually seeing here? Yeah, so I liked having that.
That is nice ability and not seeing it in the theater,
but it is nice. But yeah, that would have been
a fun one in the theater though, I Yeah, that
(09:35):
would have been intense. I think Yeah, that's a super
fun one. Well what have you been watching? Very similarly?
Sort of a like end of Halloween stretch? Oh and also,
I'm sorry, you can watch that on HBO Max. I
didn't tell anybody it was on Max. Now it's on
Max now yeap. So I could rewatch that, yes on
(09:57):
it someday we could. It'd be fun. I wonder if
it'll be up for Oscars. It doesn't matter. We'll talk
about that later.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
I told you yesterday. I think I can't remember if
it was. It doesn't matter. I watched a really old
film from nineteen eighty two. I saw John Carpenter's The Thing.
Not John Carpenter's Thing.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
That was a separate incident. I saw The Thing. I
have just it.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Comes up on all these you know episodes. We talked
about a horror movie. People are like that one had
a huge effect on me, or it's like the scariest
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
So I just went for it. It.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
It was really good. I did like it quite a lot.
It's really gross, which I wasn't it prepared for. I
guess I thought it was more psychological, like they're stuck
in the you know, the.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Vast tundra, like Antarctica. Where are they are an Antarctica? Okay,
you're totally right about that.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
They're at like a like a research facility of sorts,
and yeah, so I guess I just wasn't prepared for
how yucky. Ye was like body horror and stuff, which
isn't bad, and honestly they did a super good job
it just I was like, oh, this is gross several times.
You know, really fun movie though, super well paced. I
(11:23):
guess I totally get why, you know, people loved it
so much, you know, or have continued to love it.
Great cast, Wilford Brimley, Kurt Russell, Doabatus, got t K.
Carter is in it, Keith David as a young man.
I didn't realize David was in it, and that was fun,
(11:43):
but yeah, he's really everybody's.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Really good in it.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Honestly, I did fall victim a little bit to like,
it's just one of those movies where if you don't
see it back in the day, you kind of know
what's happening, right like just through the zeitgeist, right like
you kind of have a rough idea. So I feel
like if I were to watch that in a theater,
(12:08):
I would have been like wow, you know, especially back then, right,
But it was really enjoyable and I had a good time.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
It was just yeah, that's fun, real yucky, yeah, very yucky.
You've seen that one, right, Oh yeah, yeah that was
one for whatever reason, my dad liked that one. Yeah
a few times. Yeah, yeah, that's right.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
Yeah, but it was it was definitely worth checking out.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I think I just rented it.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Yeah, Prime Video, you can rent it. It's not actually
streaming anywhere, which is a bummer.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Yeah. Yeah, Well, there is a place where you can
stream some movies. It's Apple TV Plus. And that's where
I went to go and watch the new Matthew McConaughey film,
The Lost Bus. How is that? I haven't even heard
It's actually pretty great. I hadn't heard about any that.
I hadn't heard about it at all the Lost Time.
(13:02):
And then my folks were like, did you see the
new McConaughey movie. Was I was like, it was really good?
So I took their recommendation and it was. It was good.
It's it's based on a true story about a guy
who's having a rough go of things as of late,
and he drives a school bus and he was needed
during the horrible fire that went through Paradise, California, back
(13:26):
in like seventeen twenty. Yeah that sounds right. I don't know,
but yeah, okay, cool. I mean it just completely destroyed
the whole town. It was horrible, and that was a
place that we would perform and the place that we
performed actually went down wild. So yeah, so nuts. But yeah,
I thought for a straight to streaming movie that dealt
(13:49):
with like a lot of fire and special effects that
it was really well done. That's cool. Sometimes you can
be you can see that they kind of skimmed on
that stuff a bit. And I was in it, was
in it the whole time. So America Ferrera is also
in it, and she does a really good job. I
like her a lot. I think she's really good. It's
a solid movie. It is worth checking out fun Yeah,
(14:11):
I'll have to do that. This is the first I've
ever heard of it, So that's fun. Well, if you
like it, thank my folks because they brought it with me.
I always do. I'll pre thank them. Thank you guys.
There you go link.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Thank you for funny that you should mention Apple TV
because that's where I watched what I watched. I saw
the first episode of Pluribus today.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Oh my god, dude, it's so good. It's insane rock.
It's so good.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
It really I made the mistake of only allowing time
to watch one episode, which is both good and bad,
because now it's really just it's nibbling at my brain,
like I want to know more things.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Well, it came out, I think with two episodes right away?
Is that what it was? Okay? And so I watched
the first two because I think we have just like
three year live now. Three just came Yeah, just came out, racy.
I haven't seen three yet.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
I don't even know how to describe what this is.
It's a well, first of all, I should say it's
a Vince Gilligan vehicle, Uh, the guy who did Breaking Bad.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
And Better Call Saul, Better Call Saul, Thank you. I
was like, here's another one I don't remember.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
From Better Call Saul. Rhea Seahorn is the lead of this,
it seems at least through one year.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
So awesome. She's so good.
Speaker 4 (15:30):
I loved the first episode. I'm not even gonna really
tell you what happens because you just experience it because
it's it is fun to go.
Speaker 3 (15:38):
Yeah, and I didn't know.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
The only thing i'd heard is people were like, you
should probably watch this, you'll like it, and I was like, oh,
it's so good.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I don't even know.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
I thought it was like a political thriller. Yeah, you know,
because a pluribus that's all I got.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
Uh, it's it's really fun. Go check it out. It's
on Apple TV Plus.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Like we said, the second episode is even better than
the really Baby Tonight. It's fun man, that's fun. Yeah,
really quality.
Speaker 4 (16:09):
I'm super excited to see what happens to it because
it's uh yeah, it's really wild.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
So go check it out.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
I don't think it's Apple TV Plus anymore.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I don't know what they're calling it. Oh is it
different now?
Speaker 4 (16:20):
I think they just changed it to Apple TV going
to which is confusing because they also have a product
that's an Apple t R.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Yeah. I don't. Maybe I'm wrong about that. It also
super duper doesn't matter, It doesn't, but you know it
does matter, Rob what looks you? Because this is always
over on the Twitter machine where we're at Avid Endorsment
with a Z. You can go to uh what do
we got?
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Facebook dot com slash The av Indorsman Instagram, TikTok, Blue
Sky Threads. We're all over the place out here, okay,
but if you really want to hang out, be part
of the crew.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
The spot to go Patreon dot com, slash the Avit endorsment. Yeah,
it's a great time on Patreon. We love our patrons.
We get lots of perks. One of those is getting
a hello right here. Let's give it up for Marsha Grisiak,
Mary Fox, Nanette Wockley, Yohm Bros. Toed Debulk, and Noel Flores.
You guys are so great. Thank you, You're appreciate you.
(17:16):
Another perk we like to give our patrons is an
extended version of every episode we put out, call it
our podcast and Chow version. We'll do a top five
draft that pertains to the movie we were talking about.
And for this one, shockingly, we've never done our top
five favorite movie Bullies Crazy, which is crazy to me
(17:37):
that we've done three hundred plus of these and I've
never done that, and I'm glad we did. It's going
to be a fun one.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
It's so weird to me how we'll spend like twenty
minutes trying to come up with any topic sometimes and
then other times we're like, I don't think we've done this, Okay, cool,
and then it's just nuts.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
It's happened. It's wonderful.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
I'm excited for this. I feel like there's probably some
I forgot, so for sure it'll be fun. It'll be
fun to see what happens.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
So yeah, we will look forward to that. Greg. We
are here today, though, to talk about a lovely little
film called teen Wolf. Teen Wolf forty years truly.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
The finest film of our time. I think we can
all agree. It's forty years old.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Which is crazy.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Like you said, that's yep, that's pretty wild. I'm super
excited to talk about this silly, silly movie. And we
had to get a real silly man to join us
here today. Let's get sure you guys know him, you
love him, you at least like him. Give it up
for Chris Chada.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
What's up? Chatham? Hey?
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Hi, how are you?
Speaker 5 (18:46):
I'm unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
You really are, belie. Yeah. I love that you got
into character for this pod. Yeah, you are our wolf
man here.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
When you told me about it, I was like, look
stop everything, especially the haircuts, you know what I mean.
And I was like, I'm just gonna I'm just gonna
hold off on that for a while and see what happened.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
I begged you not to do it, and you still
just did it.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
I don't were born for this. No, no, everyone knows.
We don't plan that far.
Speaker 5 (19:14):
No, of course, it isn't.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Even taking that long to grow. Yeah, this guy grows
hair like crazy.
Speaker 5 (19:21):
Yeah, I am a miracle grow like I'm a I'm
a chia pet at heart.
Speaker 3 (19:26):
It's really awesome. He is a grower, the end, the end.
All right, cool, that's our various hair states. Look like
the Three Bears but for hair. And it's me sad
because I I have no hair. Oh buddy, it doesn't
make me sad. I don't care. I gave up on
(19:48):
that a long time ago.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
So happy to have you, pal. You're out in California
right now?
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Is that right? I is?
Speaker 5 (19:56):
I is in California. You know it's nice California.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
Tell me you do you like it? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (20:01):
Well, when you're like when I left Tennessee and I
was driving across country because that's what I did because
I want my cars here for two months, and I
was like, this is fun and the legendary Tim Faust
is my car trip concierge. So anytime I'm like, I'm
going to be hungry in two hours and he's like.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
All right, let me look where you are and that's amazing.
Let me figure this out.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
Yeah, and he'll send me something every single time, and
I'm like, this is the best whatever it is ever.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
I love that.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
So it's been wonderful. But when I left, I think
Tim and my mom both said like, hey, it's like
twenty degrees here and starting to snow, and I was like,
well that was good timing. Yes, I'm not going to
do that here, so we're good.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Yeah, that was a weird day. It was colder down
there than it was up here. Yeah, strange, Oh weird.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
Yeah, everything is ending.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
I knew that was.
Speaker 5 (20:50):
That was when we're like, oh so arm again two.
This time this time it's personal.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
This time it's personal.
Speaker 4 (21:00):
Well, hopefully the world doesn't end before Christmas, because you're
going to be in this great show. You're back out
there for Santa's Secret. You can go to santrasecret dot
co slash Los Angeles.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
This is the.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Scantily clad kind of body Santa show you're in.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Is that right? It is? It is?
Speaker 5 (21:20):
It's not for kids, unless you want to answer a
lot of questions.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
It's fun.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
Maybe, Yeah, it's fantastic. Yeah, it's ensure.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
That's like a variety show.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
There's aerialists, there's singing, there's there's a Dominatrix on Santa,
don't worry about that. Yeah, it's pretty great. And there's
a host and he's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
That's fun, dude.
Speaker 5 (21:49):
Yeah, but with like the band music, directing and playing
in this band, and we start with a singer, so
four piece band, singer, and we do forty five minutes
while people are walking in from there's a hallway they
walk through where all the cast is kind of set
in their little spots and it looks like Christmas threw up.
Oh cool, and they just wander through there. And as
they're doing that, they sit to us playing music so
that they're not just you know, it's not just songs
(22:10):
on a speaker. And then yeah, we finish, and then
the show happens and it's just like a a tale
of the the lascivious Secrets of Santa.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
That that's cool.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Everything he's trying to hide and yeah, it's really fun.
And my favorite part is this year they actually are
using that Christmas through up installment for kids. So they're
like during the daytime, they have like the Santa Passport
to Santa and like it's actual, like what you would
think kids kids can go to and hang out. Nobody's
(22:43):
naked really so but that you would think, don't worry about.
It's like kind of how all the Disney movies are.
There's jokes for adults. I feel like there's a way
to see what you want to see, but no, it's
it's that made me laugh a lot that that's happening.
But it's yeah, and they're opening in Chicago as well
(23:05):
this year and I'm music directing that.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
One as well. From a far fun I get.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
To be the I get I'm getting into be the
guy for this stuff and it's fun to get.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Many times do they talk about licking santis?
Speaker 5 (23:18):
I mean there's a yes, there's at least there's at
least one that I know of, and it's.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
More than licking and it's wonderful. That's a whole thing.
Speaker 5 (23:28):
And then the there's like on stage and then explodes
and you know, it's a lot.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
So I'm sure there's some ho ho ho jokes and
lots of there's a lot of that.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
There's a lot of that, but then you like you
get to see actual physical feats of insane talent where
they're like because.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
There's stuff.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
Alist, there's a guy the guy that blows my mind.
And my friend Autumn, who's an air list, she's like,
she's like, that's that guy's insane. He's just on the
on a hanging pole. I'm like, how you hang out,
Oh yeah, doing like flag stuff. And I'm like, also
you see some some good guy butts too. It looks
like it's it's something for him for everybody. It's everybody
gets what they need.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Yeah, really hot behind in one of the photos.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
Yeah, it's like sometimes there's a guy that's just there
to be hot, you know, like he just comes out
and it's like, I'm hot.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Here we are. I'm sorry I could make it this year,
but I hope he found someone else next time. Next
we'll get you. We'll get you. Once they get the
Minneapolis show, Yeah that's coming.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
I mean I will get naked for it, he will.
And someone there's a there's there's a pick for every
barn As.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
They say, yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
Feel like we could have said I.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
Don't sorry, I don't know what made me think, don't
worry about the van.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
Go painting for every frame. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Maybe he could have said that now sure, Yeah, a
lot of drooping was that the right guy is the
guy that's.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
Dolly Dolly you're thinking of who is the guy?
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Like stairs and stuff stairs like that. Things aren't where
you think they'd be, they should they should be where
they think they should be.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
Yeah, all right, I like to keep them guessing. I've
never heard any complaints. That had never heard a lot
of but no complaints.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
I can't hear that. Well, it turns out.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
I haven't heard any complaints, but I've seen a face
or two that has number.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
She said something I wouldn't. Sorry, I've really taken a
off track. Go there, Los Angeles. Also Patreon dot com,
slash Chris Chadam. You're still putting stuff out there. Stuff
all the time, all the time.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Definitely Mondays especially. I like to do things, you know,
I have all these musical friends now, like I just
go to out here. We have a bunch of musical friends.
I'm like, hey, you want to do a quick song
with me for Patreon and showcase my other friends that
don't have paid. I'm like, you know what you should do?
You're trying to get them onto you know.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
I can share it right, Ye's great? Totally yeah, big fan?
Well should we get right into it? A little bit
of teen? Absolutely? What a wolf?
Speaker 4 (26:30):
What a what a what a film?
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Rob Will started with just a cinema? I would love
to when high school nerds. Scott Howard learns from his
father that being a well ware wolf runs in the family.
He decides to take advantage of his freakish trait with
his newfound strength and agility Squat Scott. Scott quickly becomes
(26:53):
the hero of his school's basketball team, while winning over
longtime crush Pamela Wells. As he grows more popular, Scott
worries he is being celebrated as a novelty rather than
for who he is. Oh, I love it identity. He
sounded like, what's the baseball guy? Carrie Harry Carry Harry Carry? Yeah,
(27:15):
he's when you were like Scott scotch bo bo Jackson, woof?
Would you team yourself? I know I would, I know
I would not be delicious.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Uh, it's just that gonna be that kind of episode.
I don't know what to tell you.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Let's go to run it's.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Modust and hear what they have to say. Critics have
it coming in at a not terrible forty six percent.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Oh man, I don't know, if not.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
I mean it's better than yesterday's film.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Yeah, we just did film sure when Nature calls out
and the critics had twenty three.
Speaker 5 (27:51):
Twenty three, Yeah, for sure critics.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
And audiences was up to seventy two.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
Though, uh yeah, yeah, the audiences didn't feel as great
about this one. They're at fifty two.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
They're not wrong in both cases. I think I think
it's about half.
Speaker 5 (28:08):
Like, yeah, obviously people did not know what to do
with Jim Carrey, and I'm like, the rhino is the
funniest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
So I got that. That's like half the episode really is.
That's the reason why we did the episode. That was
because of the rhinos.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
Suffocating laughing. I don't understand it. So I don't know
how you would pull it off.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
I don't know. No, just perfect. That is cinema. Yeah,
that's what I want.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
That's what the acting.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Let's go hear what we think about this movie.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Though, it's time for our hot take.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
That's a hot take.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
That's a hot take, hot take out, hot take. Sorry,
thank you, thank you. We'll just take that. Yeah, we'll
do that. That's good, that's going.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
I can go first. I watched this movie a ton
when I was a kid. I really loved it. I
continue to love it, though I do see it's like
a great movie, but it's no, it's really fun.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
Are you sure? Uh?
Speaker 4 (29:05):
For the most part, it's fun. There's some definite like
eighties we say some stuff we don't need to say.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Uh. The gay slur stuff was a little that was jarring.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
It was jarring. I will say there wasn't a lot
of like malice necessarily in their voice. But it's not
great and I think.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
It's not great, and it's like a pivotal part of
the it's when he first transforms in front of his friend,
and it's that was It was brutal.
Speaker 5 (29:29):
It is an allegory to coming out and you're like,
don't do that though, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
Which is also funny because this whole time I was like,
is styles gay? Like he is with ladies, but he's
also with that dude. The whole time, I think she's
got the tucked into he's what he's what?
Speaker 3 (29:47):
I would call it ambi distriss. I think that's probably.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
He's a he's a He's going whichever way the wind
blows him.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
I think I get it. Do you want to sell it?
And good for wind?
Speaker 4 (29:57):
But yes, uh, just a really funny movie.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
Michael J.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Fox is super funny in it and just silly. It's
just a silly good time. There's so sort of fun
music in it. There's like a tiny bit of tenderness
in it, which I like. Of course, Yeah all around,
I still really enjoyed it. If you don't have the wonderful,
you know, rose colored glasses of nostalgia, I don't know
(30:25):
that this.
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Movie's gonna hit the same way for you. Oh yeah,
but I do. And so I had a lovely time.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
Yeah yeah, I guess that's really all I have to say,
other than my hot take of and I don't think
this is a unique take. I gotta believe it's a
bigger deal. If someone turns into a werewolf, we might
stop the game to discuss the of the movie. I
know we get to this later, but when the coach goes.
Speaker 3 (30:54):
Let's play a little ball.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
Here, it makes me laugh every single time, just like Okay,
I guess.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
I guess.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
So, I mean, I get it, suspend belief, all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
We got a guy that can dunk. Now let's play.
Speaker 4 (31:07):
Yeah, it's so so silly. But yeah, that's a silly
little complaint. But it's not even a complaint. It's just silly.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
Absolutely, Yeah, it's unbelievable. Yeah, hot take, buddy, that's my take.
I also have a very similar hot take. It had
been a very long time since I'd seen this film.
I probably saw it ten or so times as a kid.
It was directed by Rod Daniel, who is most famous
(31:38):
for movies about canines such as teen Wolf Canine. Oh yeah, James,
I love that and Beethoven second, so he loves loves
a doo. Is that you're saying, no, not Turner for it.
I love that thing so much. Me too. It was
(32:01):
written by Jeff Loebe. This was his first movie credit.
It's not well, it's the same maybe this. Then he
did Commando, and then he moved into the superhero world
and has produced a lot of the Marvel TV shows.
No Kidding, Wow, No, Dru's cool, Drue huh. But yeah,
(32:24):
this movie is just absolutely bananas. It should not work,
but it's it's a bunch of fun. And it's mostly
I think because of Michael J. Fox. Like you said,
some things don't age well well, for you know, nineteen
eighty five. There are so many things that just don't
make any sense, and we just go along with it
(32:45):
because it's fun, for sure. For example, like the one
you said where we're just gonna keep on playing the
basketball game after someone turns into a werewolf. I also
love the championship game has already begun and then Scott
comes in. Everything stops. They even do another tip off.
Don't worry he arrives. Not important. That's ridiculous. The game
(33:10):
ends with a foul and they let his bully just
sit under the basket and he falls out.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
It's a technical, I guess because no one else is
at the line, but he's just.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Right under the rim. Yeah, wouldn't that be amazing if
they actually let do that for it? I'm sure.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
I'm pretty sure that's where basketball came from, right, Yes,
let's let's do that, the tinfoil.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
That stuff.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
Yeah, that'd be a great part of the game.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
That's a good, good call. Fun. What else do we have?
Styles wants a keg so bad, he asks his friend
to commit armed robbery. Wild. I have that too.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
I was like, just like a noticely fine, it'll be
good here.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
It's it's just a water gun. It's fine. Yeah, great,
we're not robbing money. I'm like, it is unbelievable. And uh,
I don't know, why do we just accept that because
he's a wolf, he's going to be really good at basketball.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
Historically great, but we all saw air bud, so we
cannon you.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Know, you know it's that is that.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
Is Yeah, that's just he's fine because he can smell
where three point he's like.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
Also just scratches the ship out of Booth's back when
they're in.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
The oh yeah, and you're like it's fine. She's like, yeah,
I expected like it. There's there's more. But those are
ridiculous hot takes. It doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense.
Speaker 5 (34:47):
Hard pass in the room.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
I think, yeah, but yeah, it shouldn't work.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
It is a guilty pleasure of mine. I do enjoy it.
And his dad definitely wants his son's girlfriend. That weird
basketball time. Yeah, so cringey.
Speaker 5 (35:04):
I was like, what are we doing here?
Speaker 3 (35:05):
It's like, why I don't think this old man get
out of there and you're playing what on what? Yeah,
just giggling and backing them down into the paint, if
you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
It was so weird.
Speaker 3 (35:15):
Yeah, it was weird. Yeah, so weird all that, he said.
I still had a good time, yea, and still still
kind of had fun.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
Yeah, but hot take, Yeah, I mean that's that's what
the eighties movie were like. We didn't care about that again,
you know, and then so much cocaine, so much that
you just didn't care, like the storyliner like Michael Jay,
isn't it. We're just gonna do something articulars. I mean,
the great movies like Soulman. Soulman came out then and
(35:48):
you're like.
Speaker 6 (35:50):
No, thank you, no thank you, Like yeah, you couldn't
even sniff that right now, like insane, you know, back
to school.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
It just became like, hey, they talk about now how
movies can't do that, not because it's offensive, but just
because no one's going to put together the money to
put that out there now when you could just it's
you know, eight billion people were putting out videos that
are hilarious and you could just watch it on your phone.
So they're just not doing comedies like that anymore. And
the nostalgia is there for me because I'm like I
(36:23):
miss all that, you know, sure, my hot take, a
real hot take would be like I thought it was amazing, guys.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
You were like that, you guys all right.
Speaker 5 (36:35):
How well crafted the storyline is from the beginning to end.
There's no holes whatsoever. Yeah, I think the same thoughts
you did. For like we could all pick different scenes
that I was like, huh, I don't think that's going
to work right now, Like you couldn't have yeah, you
couldn't have them doing the play scene and the acting
(36:56):
coach being like more sensual. Yeah, And I'm like yeah,
and it's just I'm like, no one's here, just you two. No, nope, Nope,
that's weird.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
But I was glad that didn't go any further though,
because when she started calling him his first name and stuff,
I was like, this where we're going.
Speaker 5 (37:13):
Yeah, yeah, people just start playing here's to you, Robinson.
Sorry to charge you money for that. So yeah, I
ruined everything the my uh my hot take. Yeah, I
think probably people got hurt van surfing afterwards.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
I think that was a problem. That was fun, that's yeah.
Speaker 5 (37:39):
I was like, look, I thought about doing it immediately,
so I know what happened, Yeah, trying to hold up
a liquor store. I I don't know if these are
just thoughts or a hot take, but I just decided
to put them here. But uh, the it made me
miss RC Cola. I was like, you don't see that
product placement anymore, you don't coming.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
I feel like I just heard there.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
Oh really, I remember them being you know, when I
can of anything else was fifty cents and they're like, no, no,
thirty five.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
I was like.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
Cool and uh yeah. And than that, the I love
that they couldn't get there was a scene like where
it's supposed to sound like chariots a fire, like you know,
and I couldn't get the right one. They just made
it sound like it. And I was like, get as
close as you can.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
About the lawyers first, yeah, yeah, some of that score
is pretty yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
And.
Speaker 5 (38:34):
The score the score, I remember, I knew it affected
me because I'm only seen a few times and I
definitely haven't seen it for like thirty years, you know, right,
and it's but I remember, like like I remembered it
very well, and I was like, oh, I was supposed
to go into this field, I guess, but yeah, No,
it's just a ridiculous premise, a ridiculous reaction to him
(38:57):
being where. I loved the we'll get into the character stuff,
but I just thought, why are we what are we
doing here? And but because it's the eighties, I had
the same nostalgia. It was like the way the sun
hits the cars and stuff, like it's different or something.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (39:14):
I'm just like right back to like riding bikes.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
I don't know about that weird opening credit sequence that
was like horror movie.
Speaker 3 (39:23):
Yeah, it was weird.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
Yeah, it was like just no music, It's just like
hits and like, yeah, dude, I.
Speaker 4 (39:29):
Definitely stopped the movie. It was like, am I watching
this film?
Speaker 3 (39:33):
It's just different.
Speaker 5 (39:35):
When it said like comedy and horror as like this
the genre, when I looked up on the streaming and
I was like, just the horror.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
Really.
Speaker 5 (39:43):
I probably didn't like the Red Eyes when I was
a kid, but you know, I got over it looked
very the makeup stuffe translation look very thrillery.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
It was like.
Speaker 5 (39:55):
Yeah, and I was like, so that's my hot take
is that they robbed thriller. They that's a hot take,
that's it.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
And they really did even at the school dance too.
That was a very thriller.
Speaker 5 (40:07):
Yeah, I think I think Michael J action accent can
get some money from there. I couldn't say it, right,
Michael Jackson, Thank you hot hot.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
Take buddy, very hot. All right, let's go and pick
our favorite acting performance, and let's choose the dude.
Speaker 7 (40:30):
I'm the dude, So that's what you call me, you
know that, or his dude or duder or you know,
eldud a reno. If you're not into the whole brevity thing.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
The dude who you got for that one?
Speaker 5 (40:46):
It's just going to be Michael J. Because that's what
are you going to do? You know, like, there's a
lot of stuff I can do. There's a lot of
side actors, a lot of there's a lot of Tucciese
for me. But Michael J just the other the premise
that he's like five five playing basketball and.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
He's like he's just this the littlest.
Speaker 5 (41:05):
Person, like hey, hey, sorry, you know so much like
did they just crank it to ninety and they're like,
or they just have water machines.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
Just dumped water on his head and then we're like, yeah,
go for it.
Speaker 5 (41:22):
It was probably a lot of injuries on that on
the wet floor of that basketball court.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
You know.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
Yeah, but he did great.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
I think as far as he pulled me in and
I liked him. I like the change as as the wolf.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
I thought that was.
Speaker 5 (41:36):
He was like, you know, definitely more confident, and they're like, oh,
there he is, And I like that choice. So I
think it's just it probably deserves at least like a globe.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
You know, at least a globe, probably like an MTV
move globe.
Speaker 5 (41:52):
You know here the Golden Popcorn. Yes, remember the moon Man.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Yeah? Love that. So, yeah, dude, I'm right there with you.
He's able to keep the character somewhat believable under the
ridiculous circumstances. One thing I found interesting is that normally
that kind of character greats on me. He's kind of
he's a Debbie downer throughout most of this. He's kind
of always complaining, And the fact that he's able to
(42:20):
still be pretty charming and come out of that is
impressive to me, because I hate that when it's just like,
I don't know what I want, changing big feelings, just.
Speaker 5 (42:34):
I get bored with that big especially when that big changes.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
I'm turning into a werewolf. Well it ends up being that,
but it's just kind of annoying personal. Yeah, but he
I wasn't.
Speaker 5 (42:47):
Annoyed, but I joined find out physical comedy, the physical
stuff where he's dropping stuff and kicking the tape on
the streage, and I was.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
Like, that was a solid for me.
Speaker 5 (42:55):
I like it anyway.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
Same, it's Michael J. Fox.
Speaker 4 (43:01):
It's not particularly close. This movie with a different actor
would be terrible, and the sequel actor but still.
Speaker 3 (43:11):
Was what are you trying to say?
Speaker 4 (43:14):
We'll talk more about that in next week's episode.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
But yeah, I just I think he saves it as
much as you can. And he is.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
He's still very charismatic. He's fun. I think his superpower
a little bit as he can be really fun but
also have that little like the like heart to hearts
when he's a wolf with boof and stuff are still.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
Good, you know what I mean. And the identity stuff
is still fun. And yeah, I don't know, I really
liked him in this. I think he's he's great and
it would be much worse without him a great Yeah,
much worse with that, Like, yeah, but they had some
fun side characters. I think maybe now we should go
and pick the two Geo.
Speaker 5 (43:59):
Let's touch it up, baby. You see. For me, I said,
there was a lot and there aren't. Like, first of all,
Boof is like a thousand percent. I was like, I'm
I like Boof a lot. Like when I was that day,
I was like, cool, that's the and that happened with
most of the movies that Like. I was never like
(44:20):
the one the Pamela's. I was never that guy that girl.
Speaker 3 (44:23):
Ever. I was always like Ali, sheety in the back. Yeah,
I'll take I'll take one. That'll be great. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (44:29):
So Boof was like I was like, that's a million
points for me. But the character I loved this time
around was the coach because so great remember him? I
know I didn't remember him. His lines were the funniest.
How he reacts everything is like so like he's so,
(44:49):
what's it practical, Like he's just he's like, yeah, I
don't know what happens, life is terrible. Yeah, we just
move on, Like it's just he's like, you're waiting to
lose whatever.
Speaker 3 (44:59):
You know, And I love it. So yeah, he's he's.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
Like the straight man in the movie almost like he's
just yeah, that's that's fine, you know.
Speaker 3 (45:09):
So I enjoyed him.
Speaker 5 (45:10):
What's his name, Jars?
Speaker 3 (45:13):
Does he do other stuff? I feel like I've.
Speaker 5 (45:16):
Seen him, but I don't nothing, maybe not like in
he's kind of be in some like eighties other stuff.
Speaker 3 (45:22):
At that time. He's old. Yeah, he's got to be born.
That's forty years ago.
Speaker 5 (45:29):
That's like Anthony Hopkins Now, Anthony Hopkins is more than nineteen.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
That's true. I'm with you, dude. I also picked Jay Tarses,
and I didn't remember him being so great. It's like
the only time I've ever seen a coach played that
way before. It's so like he just doesn't really care
about the game really for the kids. Really, Yeah, he
doesn't really care at all. And usually you got a
(45:53):
guy that's like really into one or the other, but
just he doesn't really care.
Speaker 5 (45:58):
It's it's believable as it's that's a high school He's like,
I'm a high school basketball coach.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
Whatever, like have fun, do whatever, just do it, do it.
We're gonna we're gonna keep playing. Yeah. And my my
runner up would then would have been styles aside from
the homophobia. Yeah, and asking his friend to commit armed
robbery first for a keg. Look, that's just that's what
we all do.
Speaker 5 (46:22):
Okay, it's fine, we all did it.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
But he he was the most fun. Just the van
surfing's very fun. Yeah, he's just he's just a good
time and I enjoyed his performance. He's so funny. He
really is charismatic and funny. Love that. I love both
of those picks an awful lot. Uh, who would you
have picked?
Speaker 4 (46:46):
I would have picked the coach for sure, drama all
my favorite lines in the movie almost like the drama coach,
the drama coach. I picked him for sure.
Speaker 3 (46:58):
No Wolf, No, alright, no.
Speaker 4 (47:03):
Despite his questionable relationship with the young lady next door,
James Hampton was pretty fun day.
Speaker 3 (47:09):
He was great. He just seemed very loving. I did
like him very much. Yeah, typical dad, just great.
Speaker 4 (47:16):
Just love him a lot. And then I really I
hate that his name is just chubby in this movie.
But Mark Holton, dude.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
It's pretty fun.
Speaker 4 (47:26):
He's pretty great and others more than this, but he's fun.
Speaker 3 (47:29):
But just calling him chubby is such a book.
Speaker 5 (47:32):
Everyone that and that's just a thing that what's on
his like I dye and that was fine then, you know,
along with everything else, they're like, yeah, fact, like for sure.
Speaker 4 (47:45):
Can we do some version of his name or.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
Just like just like guys I.
Speaker 5 (47:51):
Understand big big chuck or something. I don't know, you know,
just a thing that isn't like chubbs.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah it's But he was a big
adventure I think, right.
Speaker 3 (48:06):
Dude, he was. He was the older version.
Speaker 4 (48:09):
Of Still well well Still that's what I think of
the League of their Own, Yeah for sure.
Speaker 3 (48:15):
Yeah, but he had some fun parts in that. I mean, honestly,
not a lot. But he's one of the only guys
that comes back for the sequel. Oh that's fun.
Speaker 5 (48:25):
Which which tells which tells you it was good, right,
I think it was going to be He was.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Like, well, it's a paycheck. I guess I'll go. You're
called fat again for a while. Yeah, dude. And he
was like thirty years old playing a high school.
Speaker 4 (48:39):
Kid like it was like it was normal. Then was
just like the smallest shorts of all time.
Speaker 5 (48:46):
Yeah, it's like just no, please don't.
Speaker 3 (48:49):
Oh yeah, that's funny. That was kind of Oh, I
guess Mick was pretty good. Mark was pretty good. Pretty
good like a dick, you know, yeah, yeah he did that. Well, Yeah, he.
Speaker 5 (48:59):
Was fun'd be a fun role I always wanted to.
It'd be great to play a bully.
Speaker 3 (49:04):
Like that, just to be yeah, to be the bad
guy or something. Yeah. And the woman who played Pamela,
she did a good job. I don't love that role
very much, but that's a good call.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
But she was fine. Also, Yeah, another part that didn't
age great. Mick is just like she's my girl, and
it's like, well she gets to decide, yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:27):
And she did, but then how she decides it's pretty rough.
Speaker 5 (49:30):
And then we're like, oh, we're fine, you can be
his girl.
Speaker 3 (49:33):
Just like what what was?
Speaker 5 (49:35):
We don't care what that was in the in the
back room. Who cares, right, I'm still with them.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
I'm still going to the dance with him. Like what
I don't like but what.
Speaker 5 (49:44):
But you're carrying our baby now.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
But we're in love. I love it.
Speaker 5 (49:50):
Great, good times like that.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
Solid people. We agree. We all agree. It's the coach
Jade Tars's You Are You Are the Winner a delight.
Let's do a favorite scene, and let's choose the Dingus sodas.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
It's quite simple, really, Dingus Dingus.
Speaker 3 (50:10):
I could talk about my Dingus all night long. Yeah, favorites.
Speaker 5 (50:17):
Honestly, it goes up with the because I don't have
a lot of quotes for this movie because they're just
they're like little things that are just kind of like
sure quotable, but it's just bits. But he has mine
and the it's probably when he's I mean the two
like when he's talking to him and he has his
like rules for life. That scene is really really coach,
(50:38):
so it's it's like he goes in line with about
how he's My favorite part of the movie. Like I
like him talking to the coach about the problems in
the beginning and then like his problems after and he's like,
here's my rules and they don't mean anything to what
he just said. I love that those two so, like
I was like anything with the Coach, but those two,
like the rules one specifically, it was very funny to me,
and I liked it more than I was, like there's
(50:59):
the surfing and stuff and the basketball hilarity and yeah,
but I like that one more. I think that just
actually caught my eye this time, so that's fun.
Speaker 4 (51:07):
Yeah, those are for sure my favorite quotes. I felt
like I only wrote down coach quotes. Yeah yeah, but yees.
Speaker 3 (51:16):
So much of it is fun and a lot of
it is the basketball like they're the montage. I'm a
sucker for a montage, obvious. So when he's just kicking ass,
that's fun. And then it goes on for a while
to the point where now you see his ego taking over.
He's like taking the ball away from his own teammates,
and you get all that. It's a they do a
(51:37):
lot in the montage. Yeah, I'll take a montage. I
love that, all right, it's great. Everyone gotta have a montage.
Speaker 4 (51:44):
All I always think of the van surfing scene with
this movie first, for me, especially with Surfing USA underneath it,
because I love the boys back in the day still do.
Speaker 5 (51:54):
It made me think how they could afford that song
but not seriously share it.
Speaker 3 (51:57):
I was like, okay, they spent it all.
Speaker 4 (51:59):
Yeah, they bought it, and they did it two or
three times. They're like, we gotta keep going.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
It's fine. Yeah, is that okay?
Speaker 4 (52:09):
But yeah, that scene is just wild and so unsafe.
Speaker 3 (52:15):
No.
Speaker 4 (52:15):
I'm always so thankful in those moments that I was
such a chicken my whole life, because like I would
never thought ever do that.
Speaker 3 (52:23):
Never.
Speaker 5 (52:24):
That's that's something happens when you're like cousin does it
like I had a cousin that would do stuff like that,
and then I would end up getting hurt because I
would try and do something like that, and then I
try to try to blame him, and then he became
he became his name is Bobby, and he became Did
Bobby tell.
Speaker 3 (52:39):
You that, Bobby?
Speaker 5 (52:40):
Because everything I would say, yeah, It's like when I
would tell.
Speaker 3 (52:43):
My parents something.
Speaker 5 (52:44):
I was like, hey, is this true, and he's like, no,
they did not put razor blades in the aerobi that
we threw back and forth and you caught it between
the He's like, no, you're Bobby did not have a
friend that had a hoverboard.
Speaker 3 (52:55):
That's not real. I was like, are you sure? Yeah,
it was the TV. That's what happens.
Speaker 5 (53:04):
Yeah, serious, Bobby.
Speaker 3 (53:07):
Yeah, it makes me that love love that runner ups,
Championship game, Championship games fun fun him winning and winning
is as Scott. I did. Love that they just kept
showing and maybe they just kept running the same play.
But that behind the back pass for the layup, it
(53:28):
was the one they got. Hit it like six times.
Run it again.
Speaker 4 (53:32):
Yeah it's working. Yeah we got that footage. Don't worry
about it.
Speaker 5 (53:40):
We're still at lunch, just keep going.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
It's fine. And the transformation scene is pretty hokey now,
but it is fun. And I love that his dad
is just like, open up this door, that we immediately
see him. That real great. I enjoyed that point of it,
and I think I was super cool at the time,
like the transformation, you know.
Speaker 5 (54:02):
I feel like if the only way to watch it now,
as like a person who hasn't seen it in the eighties,
is to think of it completely as a metaphor, and
then you could be like, oh, yes, the dad's all
into it, the friends are all cool. Everybody accepts him
right away. That's cool, you know, and you're like, yeah, different, different,
it's okay, and you're like, that's good.
Speaker 4 (54:20):
And it's funny because it could work for like, maybe
he is gay and that's what it's a metaphor for.
Maybe it's just puberty, you know, right, that's all it is,
self actualization.
Speaker 3 (54:29):
That's what puberty was for me. Just hair started.
Speaker 5 (54:33):
Yeah, fifteen, I was like, guys, what kind of razor
do you use?
Speaker 3 (54:37):
What use? Yeah? Mine was crazy. That junior year of
college was something as well. Junior of doctor PHDHD.
Speaker 5 (54:49):
Yeah, that twenty years of grad school to Tough twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (54:53):
I guess this tough dumb. I also, I think the
dance is pretty fun. Yeah, it's so silly, but it's
so silly. Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (55:06):
The thriller dance kills me. But I love Booth gets
all tender with him and he comes out of himself
and nice.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
That's nice. I mean, of course I'm gonna love it. Yeah,
big time.
Speaker 5 (55:20):
The dad confrontation with Yes the guy. Yeah, I was like, yeah,
this is a real problem. It was the only time
when it wasn't like a silly problem. I was like, oh,
that's a real rum. Yeah, ca And as a kid
watching it, like yeah, Dad's got it, you know.
Speaker 3 (55:34):
He's got it under control exactly. That's I like that.
That's a good call.
Speaker 5 (55:39):
My dad also had a big beard and red hair,
so he looked I think he did. One time he
tried to I thought he had red eyes because he
was like, you know, he pretended to be a wolf
and I ran away, but he was just messing with me.
Speaker 3 (55:52):
He's yeah maybe yeah, oh no, yeah, not real. Love
that very fun. Yeah. If we had to pick a
I would be just fine picking all the coach scenes too.
That's a great call.
Speaker 5 (56:12):
That's montage the coach scenes.
Speaker 3 (56:13):
I love that idea. I did not think of it
and done good. We did.
Speaker 4 (56:17):
Although funny that the dingus is not the scene where
someone's pants are unzipped.
Speaker 3 (56:21):
We'll get to that more later. Did you get to
read this trivia?
Speaker 2 (56:25):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (56:26):
Someone hangs the brain in this movie. We'll talk about
it later. Oh good. I didn't read that, and I
thought I went through the trivia yea very closely.
Speaker 4 (56:33):
It turns out to be a little bit of an
urban legend. But well, we'll chat.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Okay, cool, Well, before we do that, let's go into
some quotes, and let's show me the money, Show me
the money, show me.
Speaker 5 (56:50):
Obviously the coach. The three roles that I live by.
Never get less than twelve hours sleep, Never played cards
with the guy who has the same first name as
a city. Never go near a lady who's got a
tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick
with that. Everything else is cream cheese. The whole thing starts.
Speaker 3 (57:05):
To this cream cheese. Say that it was like, there's common.
Speaker 5 (57:13):
Zero percent chance that was written in a script anywhere.
I feel like it's just like I feel like that
guy was a stand up or something, and he was
in this movie and they were like, just do your
just be funny.
Speaker 3 (57:23):
I love that a whole bunch.
Speaker 5 (57:26):
It reminded me of the the Onion does like an
ask uh ask me article, like I ask a advice
call him and it's always a different person, and it
was like ask a Navy seal and it's like, I
think my husband is maybe cheating on me and I
want to know how to confront him.
Speaker 3 (57:42):
And it just goes into like what you want to
do to get.
Speaker 5 (57:45):
Through the throat is like you want to use your
cave bar knife to has nothing to do.
Speaker 3 (57:49):
It's always like completely resistance. They're pushing, you're gonna want
to It's tough.
Speaker 5 (57:54):
It's tougher than you think you want to. Yeah, to
make a remote explosive, you're gonna have to put Yeah,
it's just unrumbly. So it reminded me of that, just
being like that has nothing.
Speaker 3 (58:02):
To do with, nothing to do with anything, But.
Speaker 5 (58:06):
You're not interested in me or anything I'm doing. So
that's as far as you can get.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
That's a received you are not paying attention even a
little Okay, cool yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (58:15):
Yeah, like you I'm sure I'm going to take some
of your quotes.
Speaker 3 (58:18):
Don't go for it. Yeah, yeah, but just uh, why
is he? Why is he? What is it? Drugs? Girls?
Speaker 5 (58:26):
You know, I'd really like to help you, but I'm
kind of tapped out this month with help, you know.
Speaker 3 (58:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (58:33):
And then the I R S Is breathing down my
neck like it's some personal vendetic against Bobby Flint's and
I was like, Bobby Fence talk, and I why the
I R S is part of like, I don't know
how any of those words came together. And I loved
it a lot, and my other one out I always loved.
I remembered it vividly that give me O, yes, you know,
(58:57):
just the face and the eyes and then he's.
Speaker 3 (59:00):
And how.
Speaker 5 (59:02):
Yeah, and how did how did he not get arrested?
Speaker 3 (59:06):
After that? You know, nothing happened again.
Speaker 5 (59:09):
But it's also one of the things I said that
probably didn't age well is from coach when he's like,
I know what you're going through. A couple of years
kid came saying the same thing you're saying, and I
was like, oh, he wanted to drop off the team.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
His mother was a widow, all crippled up, and I
was like, okay, all crippled up.
Speaker 5 (59:27):
She was scrubbing floors. She had his pin in her hip,
and I was like, he just keeps going. So he
wanted to drop basketball and get a job. Now, these
these were poor people. They were hungry people with real problems.
Understand what I'm saying. What happened to the kid?
Speaker 3 (59:40):
I don't know. He quit. He was the third stringer.
I didn't need him. I don't know he quit.
Speaker 5 (59:49):
He doesn't understand what he's saying, and he's asking and.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
He's not even listening to himself. It made me laugh
so much. Anyway, I let's keep saying more. Coach fin
Stock ones, it doesn't matter how you play the game.
It's whether you win or lose, and even that doesn't
make all that much difference.
Speaker 5 (01:00:11):
Nothing matters.
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
I also loved it's right away in the first game,
and it was the Dragons basketball coach who was one
of the cops in a guy thing. Yeah, and so
he apparently he was the coach of the Dragons, and
he says, you want to forfeit the game? He says, yeah,
what's wrong with that? He said, no, No, my players
(01:00:39):
have league scoring records at stake. It wouldn't be fair
to them. I just thought, figured you quit. Now you
can beat the five o'clock traffic. There's a lot to
learn from losing. All right, we'll play. If it's that
big a deal to you. It's that big deal to you.
Speaker 4 (01:00:58):
And he also at the same game, the principal comes down.
Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
He's like, it's not going too well, is it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
He's like, well, christ Thorn, look at the sneakers those
guys are wearing. If our guys had sneakers like that,
there's no telling.
Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
What they could do. Incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:01:16):
That's how I got what you got bugs, Thank god,
because I'm rapidly running out. Uh, let's play a little
ball here. Like I said at the top, is one
of my all time favorites. These Waves are Mine is
such a silly, fun little I love that.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Oh yeah, when when Scott takes over, he's about it,
which is really fun.
Speaker 4 (01:01:40):
And the last one I had was styles you know
about a rash going around. He's like, why are you
looking to catch something?
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:01:48):
I'm serious, Uh no, but you know mister Murphy the
shop teacher, Yeah, they got his dick stuck in a
vacuum clear just red.
Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
Why you're looking to catch something is pretty that's a
pretty great line.
Speaker 3 (01:02:03):
That is good, like a lot. Uh yeah, I think
that was all the ones I have. Yeah, not a
lot of great quotes. Let's let's move on to bugs.
Boohoom'm and there's no chance, right, I don't think so.
They do try and go there a couple of times,
but I would be surprised. I would be surprised. Yeah,
(01:02:27):
there's no boos in this.
Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
Yeah, there's no chance.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
We're on quite the streak.
Speaker 4 (01:02:30):
He closest is leave my kid alone, Like he's a
good kid, you know, leave myself alone.
Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
He's a good kid. But yeah, any immediately pants, it
takes you right out right. Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:02:46):
Well, let's go forward and talk a little movie at Tibia.
Let's start with the one I teased first. When Scott
sinks the final shot and wins the game. At the
end of the movie, he goes into the stands and
hugs his father. If you look immediately behind him in
a red sweater, there's an extra and you can see
that his fly is undone. Oh and so for a
(01:03:10):
long time there was an internet rumor that he was
exposing his set himself.
Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
He was, you know, releasing the.
Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Hounds as it were, but in the in the unmatted
full frame version of the film, they revealed that the
extra is actually a young woman and apparently her pants
were just too tight so she couldn't button them, so
she had them unbuttoned and unzipped so she could sit
down in the bleachers the filming commenced, and then when
(01:03:39):
she sit up.
Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Later, she did that to like cover it up, and
the the.
Speaker 4 (01:03:43):
Person that edited it is like, I wish I hadn't
done that, but it was such a nice scene with
all the movement, and.
Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
She just thought people wouldn't notice. Apparently, so whoop.
Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
Who all.
Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
But you can definitely see those pants are undone for sure, Okay, okay,
And so this is like when it's the slow motion credits,
happened exactly, interesting, exactly, and you'll see it's right over
his shoulder, red sweater, super down brain, that wasn't actually,
what's it? We're okay, all right, we're doing it. That's fine.
Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Scott Howard's house is located on the same block as
nineteen fifty five George McFly's house in nineteen fifty five
Lorraine Baines's house from Back to the Future.
Speaker 3 (01:04:25):
That's fun. Wow, I love that.
Speaker 4 (01:04:27):
That was neast I think, I said, Lisa Booth Marconi
Good Lord was based on one of the writer's high
school girlfriends, and that was really her name, and no
one knows why they called her Boof.
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
I was going to say, Boof is just the weirdesto
is tough.
Speaker 4 (01:04:44):
Bos got off lucky when we talked to Chubbs, so
it's fine.
Speaker 3 (01:04:49):
That's a good call. That is a good call. Then
in this town names.
Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
The entire production only took twenty one days, which is
pretty wild to think about.
Speaker 3 (01:05:00):
That's hair and makeup, so.
Speaker 4 (01:05:02):
Yeah, right, the wolf transition shots were filmed last, so
that's fun. Rod Daniel says, Somewhere in the vault is
about an hour of the most embarrassing sports footage that's ever.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
I was like, there's no way any of these guys
are great at basketball, Like it's just isn't a thing.
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
For sure, which is super funny. But yeah, so I
thought that was fun. I love that.
Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
When Susan Ercidi slaps Michael J. Fox, she did it
too hard at first, and Rod Daniel had to explain
what a stage slap was.
Speaker 5 (01:05:41):
We can put the sound in later. You don't have
to Yeah, it's okay, that's wild.
Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
We'll write out of him.
Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
Uh uh.
Speaker 3 (01:05:48):
Michael J.
Speaker 4 (01:05:49):
Fox disliked this movie so much that he refused to
return for the sequel. In an interview at the time,
while Back to the Future was in production, he lamented
Steven Spielberg's down the Street making great movies, and I'm
playing a werewolf.
Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
I wonder if he likes it more now. I hope
he's learned to love it. Yeah, looking back, it's probably
still fun Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:06:09):
Yeah, but silly Rod Daniel voiced all the growls in
the movie, and he later joked and I didn't get
a nickel for it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:19):
It's pretty funny. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
Jeff Glosser was Michael J. Fox's double and apparently he
was a college basketball player at the time.
Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
The college basketball player. Did you know that? Do you
know that name? Okay? I was like, I certainly.
Speaker 5 (01:06:35):
That's something that that's something you might know, which is funny.
Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
Yeah, weird. Also, when Michael J.
Speaker 4 (01:06:43):
Fox and Jeff Glosser were in the in the makeup,
they couldn't eat solid food, so they had to have
milkshakes and soup the whole time, which is.
Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
Kind of fun. Sad at the same time. Not the
worst thing. Yeah, there was a it was a that's where.
Speaker 5 (01:06:56):
That's where the namestake and shake came from.
Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
And I helped.
Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
And since the movie was released after Back to the
Future in Brazil, team will receive the title Guarodo de Futuro,
which is boy from the Future there, even though that
has nothing to.
Speaker 3 (01:07:14):
Do with love that funny. They were just like it,
it's the guy from.
Speaker 5 (01:07:20):
That movie, which is just what the movie. That's how
they sold the movie, The Boy from the.
Speaker 3 (01:07:26):
Future slash family ties, so fun.
Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
He's tied to the future, Jerry Levine, wolf P Keaton, Wolfketon,
wolf P Keaton like.
Speaker 5 (01:07:42):
Because because the I'm with you then and then they
played the song with the sacks and then it.
Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
Was good sat Jerry Levine said. Decades later, he's still
known all over the world for playing styles and one
time a fan of the film recognized him at the
Western Western Wall in Jerusalem.
Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
So that must have been oh, you know, it must
have been wild. Wow, my prayers have been answered.
Speaker 4 (01:08:04):
Yeah, this is great right here, And it was really
him on top of the vand not a stunt man.
Speaker 5 (01:08:12):
Was it really Michael j driving Because it looks like
he's driving.
Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
Oh I can't.
Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
He doesn't say that, actually, but he had a he
had a wire that ran through the roof up into
his pants and around his waist. So yeah, secured, see
because he had the fall. Yeah, it was still though.
That's pretty wide.
Speaker 3 (01:08:28):
That's good, that's good, that's pretty wild. Michael J.
Speaker 4 (01:08:33):
Fox had to have more security, like at the end
of the film than he did at the beginning because
he because of family ties him back to the future.
Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
He just kept getting more famous.
Speaker 4 (01:08:42):
Well, that's very funny.
Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
Within twenty one days, it's pretty funny, you know what
I mean, and.
Speaker 4 (01:08:47):
Maybe very including like by the time he got to
theater Express And yeah, that makes more sense because he
wouldn't know about it otherwise.
Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Okay, yeah right.
Speaker 4 (01:08:56):
Apparently, according to Rod Daniel Win, test audiences first Scott's
dad as a as the werewolf, they went insane. He said,
the laughter was so loud it obliterated the next minute
of the film. That's not that funny.
Speaker 5 (01:09:10):
I think things are just easier than you know.
Speaker 3 (01:09:14):
You know that funny too.
Speaker 4 (01:09:17):
I guess I don't know the whole thing, you know how.
Speaker 5 (01:09:20):
They always say, like I just watched that a monster
at Green whole show.
Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
God, I was watching that.
Speaker 5 (01:09:28):
But they go into like what inspired movies and Psycho
is a big part of it, and how insane Psycho
came across to everyone that first saw it, Like how
like there's not really a scene and there's not very
like visually like it. You know, there's blood and stuff
that like showing statns nothing close to what they do now,
but people were like throwing up and screaming. And you know,
(01:09:49):
I think as time progresses each decade, it makes like
something is like more funny or I just feel like
jokes were way easier back then too, because you watch
all these eighties movies now and you're like, that's that's
real stupid and we were all laughing full house. Now yeah,
all the TV shows are.
Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
Like what I wasn't even good now, But yeah, we.
Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
Just get more sophisticated, like a fine wine society.
Speaker 3 (01:10:12):
Yeah. The finest and the last one I have is
the Werewolf.
Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
Makeup took nearly four hours to apply, but it only
took James Hampton thirty seconds to rip it off because
he hated it.
Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
It made him feel claustrophobic. Yeah, get that a lot, right, Yeah,
they only had to really do it the right time
unless something got on the cutting or something. I suppose,
but yeah, I'm with you. I found a bit of trivia.
Oh yeah, I guess I want to know. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:10:42):
So, what I think is funny is that they made
a sequel that obviously didn't do well, and then years
later they're like, we should make a show, right like
in the twenty fifteen is shit? Yeah, well that that show.
Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
See.
Speaker 5 (01:10:55):
I was looking through the cast and I was like,
where are some of these people from? And I got
into some of the cast and the team off show,
and there's like three of them that are all born
in South Carolina. And you know what the you know,
the nickname for South Carolina is.
Speaker 3 (01:11:16):
No So I was just in South Carolina. Uh. And
I was at the airport, in the Charleston airport. And
the nickname for South Carolina that I then texted to
Chatham is the Palmetto State.
Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
Shut your mouth, damn it.
Speaker 3 (01:11:45):
I had to go to I had to go to Carolina.
Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
Every future episode is like, God, I hope someone in
this cast is from South Carolina.
Speaker 5 (01:11:56):
I know it's gonna be real hard to keep finding
because I can't do the same thing, you know, I
can't wonderful why every time I find when I laughed
to myself and I'm like, I cannot wait, like Christmas
the next day, kid to Christmas, I'm just like Santa came.
Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
He sure did, yeah, which is in Santa's secret. I've heard.
Speaker 5 (01:12:16):
Yeah, it's all yeah many times, many time.
Speaker 3 (01:12:20):
Yeah, bring that Gallagher anyway? Stop what is never mind?
Never mind? I didn't find any trivia. But like Chatham
said for Judgment Day, they clearly made Team Wolf two. Yeah, series,
(01:12:40):
and then I think they even made a movie from
the series.
Speaker 5 (01:12:47):
I saw Wolf the movie that was like the later
part of that, and I was like, wow, that must
have been I kind of want to see.
Speaker 3 (01:12:53):
It was the TV show, right, yeah, it.
Speaker 5 (01:12:56):
Was MTV production. But now maybe that was when, because
now all the MTV actions are insane. They're good, like yeah,
they're all like the tailor shared and stuff that you're
like when it starts like and like, uh yeah, I'm sorry, Okay,
we're way past broad rules, that's right.
Speaker 3 (01:13:15):
The challenge is still going strong, though, which is wild.
Oh yeah good yeah wild, No more.
Speaker 4 (01:13:19):
Real, But do you guys want to play a game?
I'm glad because I made a starting five for you too.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
I'm gonna name five actors from a film. When you
know the film, you're going to ring in with your name.
If you get it wrong, there's no negative points. You
won't be able to guess again for that movie. However,
if their actors name is remaining, you can guess those
for a point each. The other person can steal if
any of those names are wrong. And all of these
films have something in common. When you know, the theme
(01:13:48):
can ring in at any time for a point. I'm
gonna about this.
Speaker 5 (01:13:51):
I think I'm gonna be good this time.
Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
I think I don't know. I don't know about that.
Speaker 5 (01:13:57):
I've been so bad. I've been so bad the last.
Speaker 3 (01:14:00):
Some of them are.
Speaker 4 (01:14:02):
I would say it's about half and half where you'll
get it easily okay, and half that you'll be like,
what is that?
Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
So we'll see. Half of that will make me feel bad,
So there you go. Number one. The first name is
Anthony Michael Hall. Number two, Sienna Miller, number three, Mark
Refelu mhm huh number four, Channing Tatum uh no. And
(01:14:41):
the fifth and final name is Steve Carell five four
three two. I think I should know this. This was
a drama. Steve Carroll had some prosthetics going on. Wow,
the rest of the wrestling one.
Speaker 5 (01:15:03):
Fox Fox Fox Catcher, Fox Fox Catcher.
Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
I'm going to give both of you guys a half.
That's good, tough.
Speaker 5 (01:15:14):
Can I guess the yes saying prosthetic?
Speaker 3 (01:15:18):
Use it is not?
Speaker 5 (01:15:22):
That would have been a good would have been good?
Do I get to guess again?
Speaker 3 (01:15:27):
Guess as much you want that, you can keep going.
You have another guess? No, that's fine. Wait, okay, I
want to know what's happening. Let's go number two. The
first name is Bridget moynahan. The second name is Tyra Banks.
Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
The third name is Maria Bellow. The fourth name is
John Goodman.
Speaker 4 (01:15:57):
In.
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
The fifth and final name is Piper Pair of bou
five four three two one. This was the classic film
Coyote Ugly.
Speaker 4 (01:16:14):
Oh of course that's why I know yer.
Speaker 3 (01:16:18):
Now I know what it is. Yeah, I guess Chatham
with it's with the animal in the title.
Speaker 5 (01:16:24):
It is more with a mammal.
Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
What now that's a more specifically, it has to be
a well coyote fox.
Speaker 3 (01:16:36):
Yeah, you're there, You're there, You're there, keep going. It's
not what it's the type of animal, the family of animal.
Just canine. Fox is a canine. Yes, they're all part
of the that does make sense. Then yeah, yeah, okay
canines and they're all right, they're part of the doggy lineage.
That's a good work. So I felt like that is
(01:16:58):
kind of half. That's a half.
Speaker 5 (01:17:00):
That's a half because I couldn't understand that dog. I
thought their cat and dog they're.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
Both to me. So yeah, so that's what makes it
kind of tough. There's some Yeah, there's not a ton
of these, no, So let's go to number three. The
first name is Alice Englert, but the second name, though,
you guys, is Cody Smith McPhee. I was just trying
(01:17:26):
to think of what the hell this is called. Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:17:30):
The third name I wasn't is Kirsten Duncet. Yeah, uh god,
the fourth name got it?
Speaker 3 (01:17:43):
Okay? Uh? Is it power of the Dog? The power
of the dog? That new one.
Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
I was like, it's a spider is not a dog.
Speaker 3 (01:17:53):
So I can't.
Speaker 4 (01:17:56):
Think what you were about to say. Benedict three points
for that's so funny because when we said the theme,
I was like, oh, I bet the dog one with cumber.
Speaker 3 (01:18:05):
And then you said I was like, no, it's great. Wait,
let's go. Number four. The first name is Kyle Chandler mhmm.
The second name is Matthew McConaughey. The third name is
(01:18:29):
Jonah Hill. I say my name, Yeah, you got you
got Wolf of Wall Street, Wolf of Wall Street.
Speaker 4 (01:18:43):
Two names remaining, uh Leonardo DiCaprio, Yes, and uh her yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:18:53):

like they get a little tougher. Number five. The first
name is Anton Yelchin. Totally you would recognize Anton Yelchin.
(01:19:19):
I'm sure didn't he get ran over by the car?
Is that that guy?
Speaker 4 (01:19:23):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:19:23):
And has died now.
Speaker 4 (01:19:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
It was horrible, freak accident. It was like a Ferrari
or something. He did it himself. It was a it
was a total accident. Really young, he was really good anyway,
he was in the Star Trek. You could talk about that. Ye. Wow,

then Anton Yelchin Ben Foster. The third name is Justin Timberlake, m.
The fourth name is Bruce Willis oh Man. The fifth
and final name is Emil Hirsh. Yeah, I'm really three
(01:20:13):

called Alpha Doc. I never saw that.
Speaker 5 (01:20:19):
I did see that. It was fun.
Speaker 4 (01:20:23):
Where are we after five? Chandaman a score? I have
three and a half.
Speaker 3 (01:20:29):
Uh, this next one is a little tougher. I'm just
gonna tell you it's not Uh, it's it's animated, so
it's just the voices. Okay, it's number six. The first
name is Willem Dafoe. The second name is Bill.
Speaker 4 (01:20:50):

didn't I didn't pick that one's animated, right, I mean yeah, yeah,
and it's that it's the same. Yeah, I did not
think of that one. And I'm pretty I don't know
if exctly.
Speaker 4 (01:21:13):

we got Willem Defo, we got Bill Murray.
Speaker 3 (01:21:21):
The third name is Jason Schwartzman.
Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
Oh, I do know that.
Speaker 3 (01:21:25):

fourth name is Meryl Streep.
Speaker 2 (01:21:33):

Speaker 3 (01:21:33):

The same director. It's the same kind of animation. Oh shoot, okay,
I just got and it is fantastic, mister Fox. It
is fantastic, mister Fox. That's a great movie. Actually, it's
(01:21:58):
really good. Have you seen that, Chattel, I haven't heard
of it. Oh, it's so good. You like it? I'm
sure I would.
Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
I guess it's not that weird. But it's just like
cast that animated, which is fun.
Speaker 5 (01:22:13):
I would like to upset them. Yeah, I didn't even think.
Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Of dogs is cool too, if you have, I've heard that.
Didn't didn't think available.
Speaker 4 (01:22:24):

get the first name is Christopher Plumber.
Speaker 3 (01:22:32):
M m m hmmm. The second name is Richard Jenkins.
Number three is James Spader. I'm gonna be honest, I
didn't remember any of those people were in it. I
would have gotten it maybe on this next name, which
is Michelle Pfeiffer, right, but definitely would have got it
(01:22:57):
on this last name, which is Jack Nicholson. Chris me.
Speaker 4 (01:23:02):
Yeah, Wolf, I did not call the greatest the greatest
scene ever. The mark in my territory is unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (01:23:13):
Yes, I love it so much. And now what I
didn't remember James Fader, Richard Jenkins or Christopher Plumber.
Speaker 4 (01:23:20):
Why those are three rememberable people.
Speaker 3 (01:23:23):
Yeah, yeah, that's amazing. Okay, but hey, nice point. Way
to go. I'm doing way better. We'll go to number eight.
The first name is Charles Rocket. Charles Rockett played the
bad guy in Dumb and Dumber. If you're looking for
a face to the name, I am looking for that.
(01:23:44):
That the ex that guy. What if he shot you

name is Kevin Costner Chris, Yes, dances with wolves. Dances
with Wolves. Another point, I didn't.
Speaker 5 (01:24:32):

that would have made sense. So you should have led me. Yeah,
to be like, hey, back when they were right, dan real,
when I stopped latting people like uh, Wayne John Wayne
played you know different rings.
Speaker 3 (01:24:52):
Oh yeah, they started there. It is I didn't know
what you were going to there, and I got scared. No.
Speaker 5 (01:24:57):

was bad, and I was like, Swayne, you know, Bruce Wayne,
birs Wayne, Bruce Wayne Airport right here.
Speaker 4 (01:25:04):
Okay, Yeah, it's good. Number nine, I'm winning this. I
never saw Barry stacked cast. However, Number nine. The first
name is Dennis Leary.
Speaker 5 (01:25:18):

Speaker 3 (01:25:22):
My duck? Skip? No, it's the other one.

watch that. It's real good. I've never seen that. Yeah,
it's so good.
Speaker 5 (01:26:07):
It's really great. Willie Nelson does songs in it.
Speaker 3 (01:26:09):
And it's just he's in it too.
Speaker 5 (01:26:11):
I say he's in it and he writes he like
writes songs for the campaign they're trying to do. But
it's like a really good So it's like political satire.
Speaker 3 (01:26:17):
Yeah, thing, you're right, that's I probably like that, I thought,
am I thinking the right movie? By the way, that
Dennis Leer he was the dad or something in the
other one. I said, my dog skip I never saw.
I don't know that.
Speaker 5 (01:26:30):

you guys are really close. Dam's got six.
Speaker 4 (01:26:40):

in Princess Bride. Kay. The third name is Charles Derning,

number four is John Kazail, most notably known for his
role in the Godfather. That actor.
Speaker 4 (01:27:37):
