In today's episode, I chat with Ann Sieg, the founder and CEO of E-Commerce Business School.

Ann is a veteran in the digital marketing space and she shares with me her journey including both the successes and the knocks she's taken along the way.

There were lots of great insights that came out of our chat, but one that stood out; don't put all your eggs in one basket! It's an old saying, but so true where it comes to business, marketing and so much more. Ann was hit hard by the Google algorithm change.

Now she talks and trains others how to create successful e-commerce businesses using amazon and automation.

The arbitrage business has been around forever...buying something cheaper and selling it on for more. In this regard, Amazon is like a big car boot sale. It's a great way to start making money and a good entry point into e-commerce. But remember if Amazon ever decided to change the way they operate, make sure you don't get caught with your pants down! Building an e-commerce brand will mitigate this risk, enables you to build an asset and keeps you in full control.
