What makes a good friend? Is it someone with lots of wealth, power, or status? Someone who can connect you with important people? Kind of sounds like a business colleague or mentor to us. When we think of the best friends we have, none of those qualities is at the top of the list. Friendships that are meaningful and lasting aren’t transactional. So, some people think that friends that are too busy to see you are “better,” but we think that’s bullshit.
